So Kanye West’s newish Sunday Service mini-concerts have become quite the staple for Mr. West. Over Easter weekend he delivered a snippet of a brand new song, check out the write-up from HotNewHipHop down below. VIA | HotNewHipHop INDIO, CA –  Kanye West  premiered some new music during his  Sunday Service event  at the  2019 Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival . Yeezy unveiled a track titled “Water,” which featured lyrics such as “Might not be as perfect as Christ, but we’re made up of 90 percent water.” The song was part of a set containing multiple hits from Kanye’s discography, including “Ultralight Beam” and “Jesus Walks.” Chance The Rapper, Ty Dolla $ign, DMX, Teyana Taylor and Kid Cudi were among those who joined Yeezy at his Coachella edition of Sunday Service. “Water” could be a preview of Kanye’s oft-delayed album Yandhi , which still doesn’t have a release date. Spelman College Takes Home Honda Campus All-Star Challenge Title

S tudents from Spelman College showed up and showed out at the annual Honda Campus All-Star Challenge National Championship Tournament in California. According to HBCU Buzz , students from the school won the competition and took a $75,000 institutional grant back to Atlanta. Spelman College Wins 30th Annual Honda Campus All-Star Challenge (HCASC), America’s Premier HBCU Academic Competition https://t.co/UC9mDBNbJX — HBCU Buzz (@HBCUBuzz) April 18, 2019 During the tournament—which is known as the nation’s top HBCU academic competition—students are quizzed on topics that include history, religion, science and culture. The Spelman team—whose players included Ariana Benson , Jessika Agyepong , Naomi Steplight , and Maati McKinney —beat 47 other HBCUs to take home the title. Daniel Bascelli served as the team’s coach. “Winning itself isn’t the only reward. It’s about bringing these students together and watching them represent their school in the best possible way,” Bascelli said in a statement, according to the news outlet. “The spirit at Spelman is really strong. If you talk to the students, the feeling for Spelman, the feeling for HCBCUs and the support that Honda gives them is all a part of the pride that they feel.” Florida A&M University, Jackson State University and Morehouse College rounded out the top four. The competition, which has been in existence for 30 years, was created as an avenue for Honda to make an impact in the lives of students who attend historically Black colleges and universities. “Through HCASC, students are given an opportunity to demonstrate the value of their HBCU experience, represent their schools on a national stage, and connect with like-minded peers,” Steve Morikawa , VP of Corporate Relations and Social Responsibility, American Honda, said in a statement. “We look forward to celebrating the HCASC legacy and the friendships we’ve made over the past 30 years.” Through the competition, Honda has awarded $8 million in grants to HBCUs and 125,000 students have participated. Several companies are making an effort to contribute to the education of HBCU students. Hennessy teamed up with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund for the creation of a graduate fellowship program . Seriously?! McDonald’s Issues An Apology After 2-Year-Old Sucks On A Used Condom Found In The Restaurant

Source: SOPA Images / Getty Toddler Finds Used Condom In McDonald’s Lobby McDonald’s has issuesd an apology after a 2-year-old was seen sucking on a used condom that they discovered in the restaurant. The mother–who chose to be identified only as Wendy–said she rushed her daughter to the hospital after seeing her put the condom in her mouth and is now worried she may have contracted an STD. She also added that it could take up to two months to find out from blood tests if her daughter has any infections. This incident reportedly happened when the mother went to the counter to order at a McDonald’s in Perth, Australia. “I don’t know how it happened but when my husband next looks at her, she’s sucking on a black condom,” Wendy explained.”I am really angry and sickened… I haven’t slept. I have been feeling overwhelmingly guilty for taking her there in the first place.” She said the condom looked used, but she could not see any packaging for it. After the incident, the parents went to speak to a local doctor, who told them to go back to the restaurant to get the condom for testing–But according to Wendy, the McDonald’s staff refused to give her the condom. A McDonald’s spokesperson said that the restaurant was investigating the incident and they believed an employee did actually take the condom to the hospital. “We are very sorry that the incident occurred, and take situations like this seriously,” they told WAtoday. “Cleanliness and safety are our top priorities and we ensure the shift manager on duty conducts what we refer to as a travel path every 30 minutes…the shift manager walk through and check all areas of the restaurant.”

Yeezy’s Sunday Services are always a star-studded event, but in the name of Coachella, today’s performance is sure to have some insane surprises and special guests. So Sad: Easter Day Bombings In Sri Lanka Leave Over 200 Dead and 400 Injured

Source: Getty Images / Getty Sri Lanka Bombings Leaves Over 200 Dead Celebrations for Easter took a terrible turn in  Sri Lanka when a string of explosions ended up leaving over 400 people injured and more than 200 dead. According to reports from BBC , eight bombs were placed in hotels and churches across the country, exploding on Sunday; The explosions appear to have taken place in or around the country’s capital of Colombo. The first attack was reported at Colombo’s popular St Anthony’s Shrine Catholic church, the second was carried out at the St. Sebastian’s church located north of the capital. This was followed by reports that a church in the neighboring town of Batticaloa had been hit. Three high-end hotels in Colombo were also bombed along with another nearby church. The final attack was reportedly carried out by a suicide bomber in a Colombo suburb. Authorities are still gathering information about these terrible incidents, but as of now, it’s being reported that more than 450 people were harmed and at least 207 people are confirmed dead–including 27 foreigners visiting the country. Investigators assume that these terrorist attacks were to target the country’s Christians since congregations were celebrating Easter when the explosions took place. Close to seven people have been arrested so far in connection to the events.

An emailed statement from Tinder cited users’ safety as a reason for removing George Zimmerman’s profile from the dating app platform after he used a fake name on the dating app. “At Tinder, we take our users’ safety very seriously, and our team has removed this profile from our platform. We utilize a network of industry-leading automated and manual moderation and review tools, systems, and processes — and spend millions of dollars annually — to prevent, monitor and remove bad actors who have violated our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use from our app.” Zimmerman was also previously banned from Bumble. The murderer used a fake name; “Carter” on his Tinder profile. George Zimmerman is using Tinder under a fake name after he was banned from Bumble https://t.co/KQwhvssfLd — Daily Mail US (@DailyMail) April 18, 2019 Zimmerman was acquitted in the shooting of Trayvon Martin on the grounds of self-defense but he has had several run-ins with the law, including a 2015 arrest after he was accused of throwing a wine bottle at his girlfriend.
