The strip club isn’t only for big ballers and rappers, police officers like to make it rain too — even if that means playing hooky from work. Denver Police Officer Shederick Dobbin was suspended earlier this week for 10 days after he left work early to go to a strip club. According to DPD : Dobbin went to a strip club at 2:25 p.m. in November 2018. He was scheduled to be on duty until 3 p.m. Video shows Dobbin entering PT’s Showclub on West Evans Avenue near Ruby Hill Park. DPD said Dobbin also misused a police database to look up the criminal history of a dancer and two of her associates at the club. The dancer was found dead in Lakewood in November. Lakewood Police are still investigating the dancer’s death, however, Dobbin is not a suspect. Wow.

NBC News reports that Orlando Moore and his girlfriend, Portia Ravenelle, never returned from their Caribbean vacation on March 27. Police confirmed the couple checked out of their hotel, but family members say neither made it on the flight back home. https://t.co/OmCitVj9w4 — NBC News (@NBCNews) April 9, 2019 The National Police of the Dominican Republic have released a statement reporting that investigators discovered bodies “with characteristics similar to the American couple” that are now being taken for autopsies. There’s also a car that was found in the Caribbean Sea that was rented to the couple, they add. A man’s body in “advanced stages of decomposition” was found in the car and recovered on March 31. Local fishermen told police they found a woman in serious condition. That woman was hospitalized but died on April 4. These are dark times in the life of the man once known as Juicy Joe. Though Joe Giudice has been released from prison after serving three years of a four-year sentence on tax fraud charges, the former reality star’s problems might be just getting started. You see, Joe was born in Italy, and despite several decades of living in the United States, he never bothered to become an American citizen. This, despite the fact that as a well-off white guy married to a woman who was born here, it would probably would have been very easy for Joe to become a citizen. As a result, of this lapse in judgment, Joe is set to be deported. He went straight from prison to an ICE detention center in Pennsylvania — which sounds an awful lot like prison. “Joe’s in a tough spot right now,” Teresa’s brother , Joe Gorga, tells Us Weekly . “He’s locked up in a jail cell with bars” Joe’s adds. “The other facility that he was at, he wasn’t in a jail cell. So he’s having a very, very hard time, and he really wants to get out.” Though the Joes were never exactly besties, it’s clear that Gorga is feeling sympathetic toward his troubled brother-in-law these days. “He got released [from prison in March] — ICE took him over — and he’s miserable,” says Gorga. There are several factors contributing to Joe’s misery, not the least of which is that it looks as though Teresa Giudice plans to leave him once he’s shipped off to the Mediterranean. “If he’s deported, she’s not going to go to Italy,” Gorga claims. “She’s not going to move her children. It’s just that there’s nothing to do in Italy. There’s no jobs; the best you can do is work in a restaurant or work in a gas station,” he adds. “It’s very difficult in Italy. … So I believe she’s making the right decision for her and for her girls.” Insiders have claimed that Joe has been placed on suicide watch, but thus far, authorities have not confirmed or denied that there’s any risk of Giudice taking his own life. In what might actually be a good in terms of his mental state, it appears that Joe is still clinging to hope. His lawyers are hard at work on an appeal, and he’s been in almost daily contact with Teresa, despite the fact that his deportation would likely mean the end of their marriage. “They talk almost every day,” says Gorga of Joe and Teresa’s communications. “Believe it or not, he could call as many times as he wants. It’s crazy. I mean, if he wants to call 30 times a day, he can. So they talk a lot.” But it sounds as though Teresa is keeping the lines of communication open primarily in order to appease her husband. Gorga says her top priority remains her children, and she would never dream of uprooting her family and moving to Italy, “Teresa’s put up a good front, but our relationship is very tight right now and [I] know she breaks down to me,” Gorga says. “She just has to keep it strong for those for little girls [daughters Gia, 18, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 9],” he adds. “The girls are having it rough also. “They’re really struggling. … It’s just very, very hard. The family is going through a very tough time right now.” Stating the obvious, Gorga concludes, “Life is very hard for them.” Yes, Joe and Teresa may have had it coming — but it’s hard not to feel sympathetic toward the entire Giudice clan right now. Despite the fact that Tarek and Christina El Moussa’s divorce was anything but amicable, it seems the couple has managed to mostly patch up their differences in order to work out an amicable co-parenting relationship. Of course, Tarek may have just flushed all that goodwill down the toilet with one boneheaded blunder that might have been an intentional act of malice. As you may have heard, Christina has gotten re-married to a dude named Ant Anstead, who is amazingly not Antman’s alter-ego. Not only that, Christina and Ant are expecting a child together — and it sounds like everyone is pretty psyched about it. Obviously, Christina and Ant are excited, and it seems their joy is shared by Christina’s kids from her marriage with Tarek, and even Tarek himself is happy for the newlyweds. In fact, Ant couldn’t STFU about his ex’s big news during a recent interview with TMZ Live . “I’m excited for her new chapter in life,” he began, innocently enough. “And they’re a great couple and I really do hope the best for them.” So things started out on a positive note, but they quickly took a turn for the idiotic: “She’s remarried, she’s actually pregnant, everyone knows that,” Tarek added. “She’s having a son. My kids are super excited.” Yeah, that’s great that he’s so happy for his ex, but there’s one problem with Tarek’s statements: Christina and Ant had not yet revealed the baby’s gender, and they were likely planning to do so in the form of a lucrative exclusive with People magazine or some such outlet. The couple has thus far remained quiet on the subject of Christina’s ex ruining their surprise and screwing them out of a payday, but one of their reps issued a statement to People that can only be described as downright icy: “While Christina and Ant wished they could have shared the news themselves, they are very excited to welcome a baby boy in the fall,” said the insider. Yikes. Did anyone else get a chill down their spine reading that? Clearly, Christina is none too thrilled with her ex’s revelation, but fortunately, these two are no longer working together. Tarek recently announced that he’ll be breaking away from Christina for an as-yet-untitled HGTV show in which he “partners with real estate novices to help them learn the secrets of a successful flip.” “[Christina and I] have been working together so long, and we’re just so intertwined with all our businesses and all our shooting that it’s kind of refreshing to go off on my own now and try some new opportunities,” Tarek told TMZ. Kim Kardashian West has finally figured out what she wants to be when she grows up. At the age of 38 and with three kids at home, the reality star is giving us a MAJOR plot twist. And by major — I mean Kim just actually declared one. During a cover interview for this month’s Vogue issue, Kim opened up about a surprising life announcement … she’s becoming a lawyer. Legit. She will actually be opening up a book and studying to become a lawyer. The soon-to-be mother of four said she decided last summer to begin a four-year apprenticeship with a law firm in San Francisco, with the goal of taking the bar in 2022. The exam that is so notoriously hard — especially in the state of California, where it spans three days — even Hilary Clinton failed it the first time around. Of course, she obviously went on to still have an extremely successful legal career — so I guess anything is possible for the reality star. “I had to think long and hard about this,” Kim said. The choice came from the combination of “seeing a really good result” with Alice Marie Johnson’s case while simultaneously feeling like she needed to do more. “I never in a million years thought we would get to the point of getting laws passed,” she says. “That was really a turning point for me.” Still, she knew her celebrity superpowers weren’t enough and she needed more, hence her desire to educate herself. “The White House called me to advise me to help change the system of clemency, and I’m sitting in the Roosevelt Room with, like, a judge who had sentence criminals and a lot of really powerful people,” she explained. “And I just sat there, like, Oh, shit. I need to know more.” Kardashian West, 38, has been working with author and CNN commentator Van Jones and attorney Jessica Jackson for months, visiting prisons, petitioning governors, and attending meetings at the White House. Husband Kanye West already has his foot in the door there anyway — so why not! “I would say what I had to say, about the human side and why this is so unfair. But I had attorneys with me who could back that up with all the facts of the case,” she explained. “It’s never one person who gets things done; it’s always a collective of people and I’ve always known my role, but I just feel like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society.” “I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more,” she reasoned. The reality star also revealed that she’s had a long interest in the subject thanks to her late father, Robert Kardashian. Robert was a businessman and attorney, who became a household name while helping defend friend O.J. Simpson in his infamous 1994 murder trial. “On the weekend they used our home as an office, with Johnnie Cochran and Bob Shapiro,” the middle Kardashian child recalls. “My dad had a library, and when you pushed on this wall there was this whole hidden closet room, with all of his O.J. evidence books. “On weekends I would always snoop and look through. I was really nosy about the forensics.” Ok, well hopefully Kim can at least learn in law school that evidence is not to be tampered with. Luckily for Kim, considering she never finished college, California offers another path to passing the bar by “reading the law” or apprenticing with a practicing lawyer or judge. And according to Vogue , sometime this summer she will be taking what is known as the “baby bar” administered by the state; if she passes, she will be given the okay to continue for three more years of study. “The reading is what really gets me,” she admits. “It’s so time-consuming. The concepts I grasp in two seconds.” And when asked about the negative feedback she will inevitably face? “I don’t pay attention to that anymore,” she says. “I love to be put in a situation where I can have a conversation with someone who might not be inclined to think much of me because I can guarantee they will have a different opinion and understand what’s important to me after they’ve met me.” She also has full support from her popular family members! Kourtney Kardashian, 39, tells Vogue she thinks her sister is definitely lawyerly. “She seems to have all the answers or something like she just kind of knows,” Kourt says. Momager Kris Jenner is on the same page as us, admitting that she “did not see this one coming.” “What didn’t surprise me was the way she embraced Miss Alice and how she was so hopeful for that outcome,” she adds. “When you find something that you’re just that passionate about, it’s not difficult; you don’t have to think about it — it just happens.” I guess we will see how difficult it proves to be this summer. While we certainly do not object to Kim furthering her education and would love to see her use her fame for something more charitable, we will be shocked if law school pans out for this socialite.
