As you may have heard, there was a little incident that took place in the Teen Mom universe this weekend. A pretty huge incident, actually. We're talking, of course, about how Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus decided to pull a Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood at the taping of the Teen Mom 2 reunion on Saturday. And by “pulling a Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood,” we mean their feud got physical. So far, we've heard reports from sources about what went down, and Kailyn's offered a few words of explanation. But now Briana is telling us exclusively the full, detailed story about what happened. And it is INTENSE. 1. A Feud for the Ages Right, so Briana and Kailyn haven’t gotten along for several months now. They’ve never really been friends — remember, Briana just recently joined the Teen Mom 2 cast — but things got way, way worse when Briana and Javi started getting involved romantically. 2. Dang It, Disney As we saw on the season premiere, their issues began when Kailyn learned that what she thought was a boys’ trip to Disney World with Javi and her sons was actually a vacation with Briana and her family. 3. Girl Code Kailyn thought it was shady of Javi not to tell her that Briana would be there (and it definitely was), but for some reason she seemed to take more of an issue with Briana. She thought she should have told her herself about the trip and about her relationship with Javi, since they’re co-workers. 4. Not So Much Briana disagreed, explaining that there was never a “girl code” between them because they’re not friends, and besides, it wasn’t her place to tell her about the Disney trip, it was Javi’s. 5. Getting Nasty All that happened in August, and the last Teen Mom 2 reunion happened in October, and as we’ve been seeing on the show, tensions were high. Kailyn and Briana ended up arguing over Javi — Briana told her that she was just upset because he’s moved on, but Kailyn denied it. 6. Super, Super Messy We still haven’t seen all of that fight, but we do know that Javi finally gets involved. We did see Kailyn arguing with Briana’s sister and mother, and then we saw her sit down with Chelsea and Leah and apparently ask for Briana and Jenelle to be kicked off the show, so we know that they didn’t exactly make up. Yup. She's still got it, folks. On Sunday night at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, Janet Jackson was honored with a career achivement tropy. Prior to accepting the ICON award, however, the legendary artist got up on stage for her first performance in nine years, as well as her first performance ever as a mother. ( Jackson gave birth in early 2017 . At the age of 50.) After being introduced by Bruno Mars, Jackson took to the Las Vegas stage in a sparkling gold sweatshirt dress and shiny gold thigh-high shoes. She opened her medley of beloved hits with “Nasty,” as her mother Katherine and other family members, including nephew Prince Michael, smiled from the crowd. Janet then launched into her 1993 song “Throb,” reminding everyone of just how long she's been on the scene and just how many hits are in her catalog. But it wasn't just Jackson's singing and dancing that brought attendees to their feet. It was her sage and beautiful words afterward. Upon accepting her well-earned award, Jackson praised the ongoing #MeToo movement , talking at length about this moment in our culture and in society. “I’m deeply humbled and grateful for this award,” she said, adding: “I believe that for all the challenges… we live a great moment in history. It’s a moment that at long last women have made it clear that we will not be controlled, manipulated or abused. “I stand with those women and those men.” The 52-year-old became black woman to receive this distinction at the Billboard Music Awards. But we can only hope she will not be the last. As you will see in the video that we've included, the spectacular Ariana Grande put on a gorgeous performance at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. It was a bittersweet performance, just two days before the 1-year anniversary of the Manchester Arena Bombing. “No Tears Left To Cry” is Ariana's first single since last year's devastating terrorist attack with an explosive device. Ultimately, 22 lives were lost to the terrorist's bomb. And over 500 innocents were injured. Even those who evaded physical harm, who fled or were ushered out — Ariana's own mother, Joan Grande, reportedly urged dozens of audience-goers to come with her to safety in case there were multiple devices — were victims of the device. And so were the families and loved ones of those who died. Terrorism exacts an appalling toll. This kind of deadly tragedy transforms lives for the worst. But Ariana has been outspoken and adamant that she not allow that kind of creeping evil to snuff out joy or hope, and she will continue to tour. Ariana's performance itself, as you can see for yourself in the video that we have included, was a tasteful blend of optimism and art with somber reminders of the May 22 bombing. At one point, she is lifted up into the air by a rising pillar, but her skillful backup dancers use their umbrella props to give the appearance that she is resting solely on their umbrellas. (We haven't enjoyed a performance featuring umbrellas this much since Tom Holland's lip sync performance in 2017; well done, Ariana) The bee, which is the symbol of Manchester, even makes an appearance during the show. Ariana really knows how to illustrate how to move forward even as you grieve. Ariana seemed to dedicate a lot of time in 2017 to self-care. She was also in a relationship that year, but Ariana and Mac Miller are over . Very appropriate, under the circumstances. She had to recover, just like everyone else. Perhaps more so, as she may have felt a misplaced sense of guilt. In contrast, she was something of a social media ghost during the first few months of 2018. Then, Ariana began to tweet with upside-down letters, hinting that new music would soon be coming. That music came in the form of “No Tears Left To Cry,” a beautiful and powerful stand-alone single that continues to receive acclaim. (We should note that, technically, it's only a stand-alone single for now — it may be part of an EP or a full length album later down the road) Ariana was a natural choice to begin the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. Janet Jackson won the ICON Award and generally owned at the awards show. It's what she deserves. Ed Sheeran won Top Artist. … Okay. Top New Arist went to Khalid. The Billboard Chart Achievement Award went to Camila Cabello. Top Male Artist went to Ed Sheeran. Top Female Artist went to Taylor Swift, which makes sense — she had the best-selling album of 2017. Top Rap Artist went to Kendrick Lamar. Top Country Artist went to Chris Stapleton. Top Rock Artist went to Imagine Dragons, so Sheeran wasn't the only name that kept cropping up. It’s been two months since Josiah Duggar got engaged to Lauren Swanson , and while there’s been no public talk of wedding specifics, Josiah and Lauren would like the world to know that they’re still very much in love. Audrey Roloff is still pretty new at this whole motherhood thing. She gave birth to daughter Ember Jean in September of 2017 and has since written plenty about the amazing experience on Instagram. Roloff has gotten into occasional trouble for some of the stuff she has said about having a child, but for the most part, she has simply gushed over her daughter and her family. Now, via an Instagram post she posted in May of 2018, Audrey has shared with followers five lessons she has learned from being a parent. Some may be obvious, others less so. But perhaps you can relate to one or two of these tidbits? 1. Lesson #1: This is how Amber opened her informative and sort of fascinating post: “To love the body God gave me and to embrace its strength and beauty with gratefulness” is something she has learned. 2. How So? “Watching my body change and witnessing its ability to deliver a child taught me to appreciate my physical body in all of its God-designed complexities on a whole new level,” Audrey details. 3. A Lesson of Importance and Priorities Concludes Audrey in this case: “Motherhood has taught me focus less on body-image and more on being an image-bearer. I am also now capable of getting myself ready in less than 5 mintes, which is an added bonus.” 4. Lesson #2: “GRACE,” writes Audrey, expounding a bit as follows: “Motherhood has taught me to give myself loads of grace for all the things I see other mothers doing that make me feel less-than.” 5. Forget Social Media, She Adds Yes, this is very ironic for a social media post to say, but Roloff continues on this point: “My standard for motherhood is rooted and established in the the Word [of] God not the world of Instagram.” 6. Let’s Turn to the Bible, Shall We? Audrey often uses this as source material. Big things are happening in Jinger Duggar’s life these days. In fact, some believe that all the exciting new developments in Jinger’s world should take center-stage in the Duggar family’s first spin-off series. Okay, technically, Counting On is a spinoff of 19 Kids and Counting , but really, it functioned more as a replacement series after the original was irreparably sullied by the Josh Duggar sex scandals of 2015. Anyway, if fans have their way, Jinger might soon become the first Duggar to serve as solo star of her own series. In recent weeks, Duggar obsessives have been calling for a Jinger spinoff (or Jin-off, as we like to call it) on her Instagram page and in Duggar-focused subreddits. The reasons why they think this is such a good idea are myriad: For starters, the 24-year-old’s life is wildly eventful these days. Jinger is pregnant with her first child , and along with her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, she’s carving out a life that’s very much at odds with her ultra-conservative upbringing. Shortly after her wedding, Jinger became the first Duggar woman of her generation to permanently move away from Arkansas. She and Jeremy have been residents of Laredo, Texas for nearly two years now, and it looks like they’re gearing up for yet another move. Last week, rumors that Jinger is moving to Los Angeles began to make their way around social media. And unlike so many reports about the Duggar clan, this one is based on credible evidence. Jeremy was recently accepted to study at a divinity school in LA, and apparently, he would be permitted to carry on his ministry there while he gets his degree. In other words, a spinoff might soon be the only path forward for Jinger’s career that makes sense from a logistical perspective. Continuing to find ways to incorporate Jinger’s storylines into her siblings’ lives will become that much more difficult after she heads for the coast. The smartest move for TLC might be to simply offer Jinger her own series. The move would make sense not only because of the geographical issues but also because it’s fitting that the woman known as “the rebel Duggar” should have her own show. Jinger was the first Duggar woman of her generation to wear pants and the first to leave Arkansas. Now, she might be the first to land her own series.
