When Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston are your parents, the odds aren’t really in your favor Bobbi … Bobbi Kristina’s Family Fears She Might Drink Herself To Death Via TMZ reports : Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina has a serious drinking problem … so say family members and close friends who tell TMZ it’s gotten even worse since she finished taping her reality show … and they fear she could die unless she does something about it. We broke the story … many people close to B.K. feel she has allowed some of Whitney’s enablers to get heavily involved in her life … and if Bobbi doesn’t cut them out soon, she’s doomed to the same fate as her mom. Those people — sources say — include various individuals who knew about Whitney’s problems, but didn’t take action when the singer’s life was spiraling out of control. Bobbi’s problems were highlighted during the premiere episode of her Lifetime series, “The Houstons: On Our Own” … which featured 19-year-old Bobbi slamming wine and slurring. The episode was taped a few months ago … and our sources say the boozing has only gotten worse since the show wrapped. During a tease for an upcoming episode, an emotional Pat Houston suggests taking Bobbi to California … where Whitney received treatment from a drug counselor before she died. Sources close to B.K. tell us … they DON’T WANT Bobbi to see the same counselor, because they feel he did not help Whitney … and will fail again with Bobbi. Sad, but it runs in the family. Her dad Bobby has to find it in him self to get and stay clean for his daughter’s sake and his own. Get your life together Bobbi!

Via TMZ reports : Whitney Houston’s mother Cissy is deathly afraid Bobbi Kristina will die like just the singer — in a haze of drugs and other bad influences — which is why she wants to withhold Bobbi’s multi-million-dollar inheritance, sources tell TMZ. Sources close to Cissy tell us, Cissy feels Bobbi is currently surrounded by numerous negative influences — including her boyfriend Nick Gordon and father Bobby Brown — who will drain Bobbi’s fortune given half the chance. We’re told Cissy also feels 19-year-old Bobbi is still extremely impressionable right now — and if left unchecked with millions of dollars, Bobbi could end up going off the rails … eventually dying just like Whitney. According to sources, Cissy wants to wait until Bobbi has matured significantly more before she gets her money … an estate estimated at $20 million … though it’s unclear how long she wants her to wait. As for allegations Cissy is trying to withhold Bobbi’s fortune to hoard the money for herself — Cissy is telling friends that’s total BS … that’s it’s about protecting her family. As we reported, Cissy and Whitney’s sister-in-law Pat Houston filed a request this week to modify Whitney’s will — in order to change the distribution schedule of the estate. Bobbi Kristina Brown may soon be a very rich young woman. But not if her family has anything to say about it. Following the death of her mother, Whitney Houston, this teenager stands to inherit around $20 million. Time to party it up with boyfriend Nick Gordon , right? Not so fast. According to TMZ, Cissy Houston and Pat Houston – Whitney’s mother and sister-in-law – have filed a request to modify the late singer’s will because they don’t believe Bobbi should receive the entire estate at once. Sources quote the relatives as believing such an influx of money would be “too much, too soon” for Bobbi, who has battle substance abuse problems over the years. The family wants to “protect [Bobbi Kristina] from herself,” says an insider, as the legal documents assert this 19-year old “is a highly visible target for those who would exert undue influence over her inheritance.” As Whitney Houston’s sole heir, Bobbi will take in 10% of her mother’s fortune when she turns 21; around 10% more when she turns 25; and the rest at 30. It’s unclear at the moment how Cissy and Pat’s plan would alter this arrangement.
