‘Glee’ Wins Big At Golden Globes

Fox’s pop-culture smash has emerged victorious yet again in the Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical category. In addition to besting the hit shows “Modern Family,” “Nurse Jackie,” “The Big C,” “The Big Bang Theory” and “30 Rock,” two of the show’s stars have taken home their first Golden Globe awards. While the show did not sweep — both Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison lost in their categories — it did win more awards than any other television show at the 68th annual Golden Globes. Stunned first-time nominee Chris Colfer kicked things off for “Glee” with his heartfelt speech, which he dedicated to his “fairy godfather Ryan Murphy” and to teens who, much like his character Kurt, are bullied. “The amazing kids that watch our show and that our show celebrates and are constantly told no [by] people and environments and bullies at school, that they can’t be who they are or can’t have what they want because of who they are,” he said, concluding his acceptance speech with, “Screw that, kids.” Next up was Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television winner Jane Lynch. Mannie Fresh Seasoning Mystikal LP With New Orleans Flavor

Ex-Cash Money producer tells MTV News the NOLA natives ‘want to bring it back to where it started from.’ By Jayson Rodriguez Mystikal and Mannie Fresh Photo: MTV News When Mystikal began working on his comeback album last year, the New Orleans rapper recruited his fellow hometown lyricist Lil Wayne. Along the way, the former No Limit star also joined forces with Cash Money expatriate Mannie Fresh. And according to Fresh, he’s hoping to inject some Bayou flavor into Mystikal’s project. “We finishing up his album and the thing of it is, I just want it to be a traditional New Orleans album,” the producer told MTV News. “I just want to reach back and get New Orleans artists, the way we used to put it down. There’s no disrespect to no other artist, but I don’t feel like we have to go outside the circle. We got so much talent in our city. I would like to get some of that Neville [family] stuff on there and [Trombone Shorty]. But that’s what it is. I want to bring it back to where it started from.” The project currently has no release date or major-label home, but fans should expect the collection to feature Mystikal’s dance-floor flare as well as a more reflective side as well. Last year at this time, the rapper was being released from prison after serving six years on a sexual battery and extortion charge. “Finally. Six years, that ain’t no walk in the park,” Mystikal told us a few months after his release. “I had a lot of time to do a lot of growing, reflecting and thinking and stuff like that.” Are you looking forward to new music from Mystikal? ‘Dilemma’ Stars Vince Vaughn And Kevin James Share Some Man-Love

By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Vince Vaughn and Kevin James Photo: MTV News “The Dilemma” overflows with relationship drama: between Vince Vaughn’s fast-talking Ronny and his girlfriend, Beth; Kevin James’ kind-hearted Nick and his wife, Geneva; and Geneva and her extramarital boy toy, Zip. But perhaps the most tension-filled relationship is the one between Ronny and Nick. Best buds since their days at Ball State, the two are in business together, attempting to construct an electrical car engine that captures the bone-shaking energy of old-school muscle cars. But as the title of the film suggests, an unwelcome intrusion in the form of Nick’s philandering wife enters the picture, causing some bromance-compromising secrecy between the friends. When it comes to their own working relationship, though, Vaughn and James insist on full honesty and the healthy expression of their affection for each other. “I’ve taken every opportunity to be direct and tell this guy I love him,” Vaughn laughed in an interview with MTV News. “I could get hit by a car tomorrow and know Kevin James knows the love I have for him.” James, however, worried that perhaps he hasn’t gone far enough, that perhaps a full-court, flowers-and-candy effusion of man-love is in order. “I don’t think I’ve expressed enough of my love for Vince Vaughn,” he said. “I don’t know if that’s being an honest thing or you let it leak in slowly — you don’t want to overdo it too much, because you don’t want to frighten the person you love so much.” What, may we ask, has given birth to such dude-on-dude worship? Both men seem cut from the same comedic cloth and found themselves working together to hit new jokes and routines that weren’t originally on the page. “Right away, we collaborated with the script,” Vaughn said. “Kevin is so funny. He’s such a good writer. Such good ideas that we were making each other laugh and having fun coming up with stuff. Carmelo Anthony To The World: My Wife Doesn’t Have Sh*t To Do With My Decision To Leave Denver!

Since the start of the NBA season the rumor mill has been spinning with talk of Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony wanting to be traded to another team. The second part of that rumor is WHY Carmelo wants to leave The Nuggets. Many have speculated that Anthony’s wife La La Vazquez-Anthony is the motivating force behind the move. Anthony was in good spirits while answering media questions following his 28-point performance in a 132-98 blowout of the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday. But once he was asked about the perception that his wife was calling the shots on his NBA career, his mood instantly changed. “Y’all put this in bold words, La La has nothing to do with anything,” Anthony said. “Whatever is my decision, she is going to support me. She has nothing to do with me staying or leaving. Nothing. So please keep her out of it. Thank you. “People have to write about something and [they] come up with, ‘She don’t want to be here.’ She has nothing to do with that. This is my career. This is my decision. Of course, I got to consult her with everything. It wasn’t one conversation I had with her where she said, ‘Let’s get out of Denver.’ ” Uh ohhhh sounds like the media done pissed ‘Melo off! Rachel McAdams Weird Face in a Skimpy Dress in London of the Day

All I know about Rachel McAdams is that she’s some kind of Canadian who isn’t all that hot, but for some reason she gets a lot of press that she is, totally over-rated, possibly because I live in Canada and I am exposed to our inuit igloo media sources, who have to talk about Canadians who have made it in America for at least 20% of their show by law and there are only a handful of people for them to talk about making the whole thing like it’s on fucking thing almost abusive…making me hate Drake, Jim Carey, Pam Anderson, Ryan Gosling, Alanis Morisette, Avril Lavigne, Dan Akroyd, Martin Short, John Candy, the dad in American Pie, Celine Dione and whoever the fuck else I have trained my brain to forget, for some weird reason when lookin at her, I am reminded of a time I was forced to horseback ride with my wife, a pretty normal day for some, but a traumatic day for me, because the horse couldn’t support our weight and ended up dying…but I do like her fashion sense, now if only there was a little more tit to make this dress really worth the time it took to put on…. Will Mr. Skin Return in Knocked Up Sequel?

After Judd Apatow ‘s enormous success with the Mr. Skin-themed romantic comedy Knocked Up a few years back, the director has decided bring back two of the supporting characters played by Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann to make a sequel. And Skin Fans want to know if a certain celebrity nudity website will be a major plot point (again). How would he describe MrSkin.com’s role in this movie? Significant? Crucial? Massive? The sine qua non ? But what they really want to know is when Apatow is going to direct a nude scene featuring his real-life wife Leslie Mann, who hasn’t fleshed flesh since her incredibly brief T&A in Last Man Standing way back in 1996. If he’s worried about filming another bro bouncing his bride’s boobage, then Apatow needs to relax and take a page from Sam Mendes ‘ book. Sam directed his wife Kate Winslet with Leo DiCaprio in Revolutionary Road and they’re only separated, not divorced. Make it happen now, Apatow!
