It’s been six months since it began, but the ” conscious uncoupling ” of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin just keeps getting weirder. Yes, even though Martin is dating Jennifer Lawrence now, he still remains freakishly close with Paltrow. So close, in fact, that he threw his ex a birthday cocktail party last week and invited all of her famous friends! Celebrating your estranged wife’s birthday party with her all her BFFs and your new girlfriend might sound like a nightmare, but that’s only because peasants like you and me just aren’t as enlightened as the Chris and Gwinnie. Not only did they manage to spend the evening drinking under the same roof without the cops being called, Martin and Paltrow reportedly ignored the other guests in order to hang out with another! “Gwyneth and Chris were very friendly with one another,” said one attendee. “It was like they’re still best friends.” In other GOOP news, Paltrow approves of Jennifer Lawrence so much that she invited J-Law to her home to personally stamp her with a “seal of approval.” Hopefully Jen showed up with a bulletproof vest and a cyanide capsule under her tongue in case of torture: “Gwyneth suggested a friendly lunch between her and Jennifer,” says a source close to Paltrow. “They met at her Brentwood home and drank tea and ate homemade scones while chatting in the garden.” “Gwyn broke the ice by telling Jen she’s happy Chris wound up with such a smart, beautiful woman.” Sounds like a trap to us. Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 1 premieres Friday on WeTV. When it does, all will be revealed about Hank Baskett’s alleged affair with a transsexual. Could Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett be manufacturing this entire transsexual cheating scandal that has enveloped them for the sake of their reality show? We’ve posited such theories before – with Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, even Robin Thicke and Paula Patton – but it seemed even less likely in Kendra’s case. That is, until photos surfaced of Kendra and Hank in Costa Rica, on vacation with no cameras in sight and looking anything but standoffish with each other. Very suspicious indeed. The two were eating at a cozy beachside restaurant with their family and no Kendra on Top crew, which just doesn’t add up with other recent reports. Or the Kendra on Top trailer , in which she admits she flushed her wedding ring down the toilet after Hank stepped out with a transsexual model. The couple has clearly been running with the scandal, staging fake family barbecues and the like, and clearly turning it into a story for the WeTV program. We wouldn’t expect anything less there, but is the entire thing a sham? As in no cheating, fighting, wedding ring flushing, lie detector tests … anything? Kendra Wilkinson may (understandably) be stressed out about her marital woes these days, but the former centerfold found a way to relieve said stress on Thursday night: By partying!!! Multiple sources confirm that Kendra hit up Los Angeles clubs Hemingway’s and Warwick and was in “great spirits,” according to Us Weekly. She’s been dealing with the fallout from husband Hank Baskett’s affair with Ava London and just “wanted a night out dancing,” the tabloid reports Wilkinson hit the hotspots without her wedding ring on and “seemed really happy, trying to keep a low profile,” an onlooker says, while another explained why this may not be the last time we see Kendra out and about. “She doesn’t want to feel chained to her house anymore, she wanted to go out and have a girls’ night…she’s such a bubbly, happy person.” Wilkinson has yet to really speak publicly about her marriage, though Baskett claims all is good and the couple is still living under the same roof. Despite Hank Baskett pretty much admitting to an affair with a transgender model named Ava London (while Kendra was eight months pregnant!), insiders tell OK! Weekly that the former Playboy centerfold comes from a “broken home.” Kendra knows what divorce can do to a family and she is putting her two kids first, the tabloid claims. She has no plans to file any time soon.
