“I knew that I wanted to do it, and then I spent six months trying to talk myself out of it,” Williams tells the magazine of the movie. “But I always knew that I never really had a choice. I’ve started to believe that you get the piece of material that you were ready for.” This issue of Vogue will be available on newsstands on September 20. Both are involved in heated Fashion Face-Offs at the moment – versus Britt Robertson HERE , and Wilson Bethel HERE – but Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev have taken a few moments to talk openly about their relationship for the first time. The Vampire Diaries co-stars were outed as a couple this summer, photographed in Paris together, and they each gushed about the other on Saturday night at The CW premiere party in Burbank, CA. “She truly enjoys life,” Somerhalder told Us Weekly of Dobrev, who dates his on-scren brother, Stefan, on the aforementioned (AWESOME!) CW drama. “Her desire to experience and appreciate everything around her, and chuckle and enjoy it, is great.” The actress gave a similar reason for why she has fallen for Somerhalder. “He always has a positive outlook and positive energy, and he’s always happy,” she said. “He is a glass-half-full kind of guy, not half-empty.” The Vampire Diaries returns with new episodes this Thursday, September 15. Serena Williams’ outburst in the women’s championship match was the talk of the U.S. Open Sunday, and the tennis star could dace further consequences yet. Williams was docked a point early in the second set against Samantha Stosur – who won 6-2, 6-3 – after shouting “Come on!!!” as encouragement to herself. That’s typically standard, but because she yelled before the point was over, she was penalized … and then LOST IT at the umpire for evoking the “hindrance rule.” Watch Williams’ U.S. Open outburst here: Serena Williams U.S. Open Outburst “If you ever see me walking down the hall, look the other way because you’re out of control,” Serena said. “You’re a hater and you’re unattractive inside.” It is worth noting that Williams, who infamously lost a match by virtue of a pair of code violations in her 2009 semifinal meltdown , did not use any profanity. Nevertheless, she ranted to the point where a referee will pass along the findings of the investigation to the Tournament Grand Slam Committee. That board will decide what discipline, if any, is appropriate. Fines are all but a given; Worst case is she could be banned from future tournaments. Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal play for the men’s title today at 4 p.m. UPDATE : Officials just fined Serena $2,000 for the outburst, deeming that “Williams’ conduct … does not rise to the level of a major offense.” Evidently not. Her runner-up prize? $1.4 million. So that’s that.
We’re starting to think there just may be some truth to the rumor that something is going on between tennis star Serena Williams and Drake. Some interesting videos surfaced over the weekend of Serena dancing to Trey Songz’ “Bottoms Up” in what some are saying is Drake’s condo. There’s also a short clip of Serena twerking like a stripper to Lil Wayne’s “Got Money.” Take a look: In related news, for the second time in two years the three-times champion blew a fuse at the U.S. Open, launching a tirade at chair umpire Eva Asderaki after being docked a point for yelling “Come on!” during a rally in the final against Australia’s Samantha Stosur. ‘What G.O.O.D. Music stands for is just that quality,’ Sean tells MTV News of Hype Williams-directed clip. By Rob Markman Kanye West and Big Sean Photo: Johnny Nunez/ WireImage If 1970s soul and a good white wine weren’t enough, Big Sean, Kanye West and hook man Roscoe Dash recruited Hype Williams to set the mood for their just-released “Marvin & Chardonnay” video. In true Hype fashion, the clip starts with scrolling credits revealing the video’s brightly styled stars. Vibrant hues of blue, red, purple and yellow pop onscreen and set the tone for the next three minutes and 43 seconds as Big Sean and company rap amid the video’s principal vixens parading to and fro. “Me and Hype are homeys,” Sean told MTV News’ Sway on the “Marvin & Chardonnay” set back in July. “He’s a real dude, and it’s tight being around people that you consider legends and him just being so real. We came up in here and was just blasting DMX and all this different music. He gets inspired creatively from I don’t know what; he just has these crazy ideas.” Sean starts in a powder-blue blazer and matching tank top grinding on a light-skinned model in a two-piece bathing suit. In many ways, “Marvin & Chardonnay” exudes a similar vibe to the video for ‘Ye’s 2005 “Gold Digger” clip, which Williams also directed. What sets Sean’s video apart is Hype’s use of triangular shapes. At key moments, he splits the screen into three parts, leaving the Detroit rapper nestled between the symmetrically placed models. But in the end, there is no real story line or overall message — then again, that was never the point. Instead, we are left with a classic Hype Williams visual. “Colors, the visualization … what G.O.O.D. Music stands for is just that quality. Whatever we do is quality,” Sean said. “If we gonna have girls, we gonna have the best girls. If we gonna have yellow suits, it’s gonna be the best yellow suit. If we gonna have Versaces, it’s gonna be the OG Medusa-head Versace.” What do you think of Sean’s latest video? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Big Sean Kanye West

Katt Williams wants to make one thing clear: he is not sorry. The comedian got into it with a fan at a gig in Phoenix last week, telling the man “this ain’t Mexico. It used to be Mexico [expletive] and now it’s Phoenix… Do you remember when white people used to say ‘Go back to Africa,’ and we’d have to tell them we don’t want to? So if you love Mexico, [expletive], get the [expletive] over there!” It appeared as if Williams was contrite for this outburst soon after it was made public, but he tells CNN an apology was penned by his publicist and was simply “for the Tracy Morgans of the world,” referring to that actor’s response to his own stand-up scandal in June. “I don’t think I need to apologize for being pro-American,” Williams says. Williams is no stranger to controversy. He brawled at a Young Jeezy concert last week and was given the boot; and he was arrested in June for threatening a potential witness after an odd stand-off with a tractor driver. Seriously .
SMH @ Him Talking About Being A Christian And This Being The Land Of The Slave… Comedian Katt Williams on Saturday partly walked back an apology for making insensitive remarks to a Mexican member of his audience, telling CNN that he is not sorry for what he said, but apologizes to anyone who thought he was being hateful. “I meant what I said and I said what I meant,” Williams said, referring to his back-and-forth with a heckler during a performance a week ago. A written statement apologizing for the remarks had been released by his publicist on his behalf this week, but the comedian said that it didn’t come from him. Video of the exchange, delivered during a performance at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix, was posted online. Williams singled out a man seated near the stage and asked him if he was Mexican.
