Royce Reed Speaks On Life After Basketball Wives Former Basketball Wives cast member Royce Reed has been putting in her 2 cents from sidelines every once in a while as the show continues on in her absence and now she’s speaking out in detail about her post-reality tv life. Royce recently sat down with VH1 to dish on her company Fantashique, her baller-boo Dezmon Briscoe (who is apparently still in the picture), which of her ex- cast mates she’s no longer beefing with, and more. Check out their chat below: via VH1 Blog What’s new with you professionally? Fantashique is definitely thriving. We have ninety five members in the Orlando branch, and we have six companies and four competition teams. We also just expanded to Atlanta and have plans to expand to five cities in five years. Other than that, I’m still working on my second book, I know I keep putting it off and people keep asking me about it…..but it’s coming sooner or later.” Fantashique has a strict code of conduct when it comes to the young girls who take dance lessons with you. You have grade expectations and social media rules for all your girls, which is impressive. This generation is very, very scary. The stuff we go through with these girls is more real that saying “Oh, you’re talking about me?” [Being on the show], I felt like I was being a hypocrite, because I’m on a show where there’s like, constant fighting, and yet I’m sitting here trying to voice something different. As much as I enjoyed the checks, it wasn’t worth contradicting myself and doing something I didn’t really believe in. I felt kinda like I was selling my soul. I was totally fine with the way I went out last season, you saw me doing my career, you saw me being me. Hmmm. Interesting to hear Royce say she felt like she was “selling her soul” for her 15 minutes and a paycheck. Did you think she left the show at the right time? A tiny Mandarin Rat Snake was found in the passenger cabin of a Quatas airliner Monday, prompting the company to cancel the flight and put all passengers up at a local airport while they tracked down a replacement jet. Snake on a Plane! The 20-centimeter, mildly venomous animal was eventually apprehended and taken by quarantine officials for analysis. “The Department of Agriculture is looking into how the snake came to be on the plane, but isn’t able to speculate at this time,” the Department said in a statement. So not exactly stuff of horror movie legend, but still. It’s nice to know someone got that mother effin snake off that mother effin plane. It could have caused some damage.

Lifetime has pulled the plug on its longest-running series. The network announced today that Army Wives will not return with new episodes, canceling the drama after seven very successful seasons. A 120-minute retrospective will air some time in 2014. Said Rob Sharenow, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Lifetime, via statement: “There is no denying how special Army Wives has been to both Lifetime and the television landscape. By taking on a very relevant and timely issue, it has brilliantly captured the challenges our military families endure and the bravery they and their loved ones display while serving our country. “It has been an honor to be the home of Army Wives. We also want to thank Army Wives’ passionate legion of fans and everyone involved with the series: ABC Studios, Mark Gordon and Jeff Melvoin, Tanya Biank, every single cast member, as well as the crew and community of Charleston, South Carolina. Without their dedication, effort and loyalty, Army Wives’ seven wonderful seasons would not have been possible; and for that we are very grateful.” The series received many accolades, during its run, including a pair of Gracie Awards from the Alliance for Women in Media, a Sentinel for Health Award from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism’s Norman Lear Center, as well as an NAACP Image Award, NAMIC Award and Prism Award nominations.
Following a report last month that claimed Kris Jenner was urging her daughter not to divorce Lamar Odom , an insider now tells Radar that Jenner has a different message for Khloe Kardashian: Divorce Lamar Odom. The change of parental tune is due to yet another mistress ( Sandy Schultz ) admitting to an affair with Lamar, along with assertions that he’s building crack pipes at home . Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian: Living Separate Lives “At Kris’ insistence, Khloe did meet with a divorce lawyer,” an insider alleges. “Kris was very heavy handed and said that Khloe had a responsibility to her sisters and the Kardashian brand to distance herself from Lamar.” Yup. That does sound like something Jenner would say. Unfortunately, Kardashian is reportedly hesitant to officially cut ties with her husband because her “entire self-worth and identity is wrapped up in her marriage.” Meeting and marrying the NBA star “was a chance for Khloe to distance herself from the Kardashian name,” explains this same source. “All of a sudden, Khloe was getting tons of attention from the media, and she was very popular with Lamar’s teammates and their wives.” “She had this huge mansion, a wardrobe to die for, and the man of her dreams. It was everything her other two sisters didn’t have.” And, unlike those siblings, Khloe is described as “low key.” She won’t be leaking a sex tape any time soon and she didn’t air her marriage ceremony or private life on television (relatively speaking). She just wants to settle down with a husband and a family and, therefore, continues to hold out hope that Odom can turn his life around. Concludes this anonymous family friend: “Is it likely she will give that up anytime soon, or even the idea of it? Rumor has it that there will be no Govans on the upcoming season of “Basketball Wives L.A.” and now we know why. The JasmineBrand caught up with Gloria at her hubby’s Athlete’s vs. Cancer charity event and she revealed she and sis Laura are working a new show: We’re working on a family show – me and my sister, Gilbert, Matt, all of our kids – you know, my sister has got like 18 kids. I [was] just saying “Gosh! You have a lot of kids!” Yeah, it’s really 4. But it feels like 18, because they’re all over the place. So yeah, we’re doing a lot of stuff. We have a lot of stuff that we’re doing together which is really cool. Wait, for a minute there we thought she really did have a sister with 18 kids… You know they ARE half Mexican, right?
