Caryn Chandler: Daughter and Troubled Son Make Little People, Big World Debut!

This week on Little People, Big World , Amy Roloff wasn’t sure how to react when her ex Matt started bonding with Chris Marek . But Matt also spent time bonding with Caryn Chandler’s young adult children in their first-ever appearance on reality television. It was heartwarming to see them appear on screen, especially considering Caryn’s son’s troubled history with the law. “I wanted to bring my kids to the farm to have lunch with Matt,” Caryn shared on Little People, Big World . Connor Chandler is 19. Brittany Chandler is 22. “As we continue to get closer and plan a future together,” Caryn expressed. “It’s really important to me for you to have relationship with them.” “And,” she continued. “I know they would like that as well.” She’s right — though they have already known Matt for a long time. Matt Roloff is happy to spend the time with them, too. “Back when Brittany and Connor were young,” Matt recalls. He continues: “they used to come and help out during pumpkin season.” “So her kids know my kids well,” Matt observes. “And,” he expresses. “I look forward for her family and my family getting closer.” Caryn herself took to Instagram to rave about her children making their Little People, Big World debut. “So what have you been up to?” Connor asked during the episode. “Getting ready for pumpkin season?” Brittany chimed in. “Mhmm,” Matt replied on camera. He was eating. “Has it been weird getting ready for it without her?” Brittany asked. Caryn stopped working on the family farm last spring. That’s sensible — she’s a girlfriend, not an employee. “Mhm,” Matt replied to Brittany’s question. “It’s interesting because I feel we took like a flip flop,” Brittany observed. She explained: “because she’s been working for what 10-12 years out on the farm, Monday through Friday.” “So now,” Brittany notes. “Connor and I get up every morning at 6 a.m.” “Yeah,” Connor agress. “I’m like ‘hey bye mom!'” “But it’s nice having you around more,” Brittany expressed. “I mean I notice the subtle changes.” “Like I come home and I’m like ‘oh how nice, she did our laundry today,'” Brittany says. “So I think she does get bored.” Connor has experienced some troubles as a teenager. In 2016 and in 2017, Connor was jailed for “theft in the first degree.” While he thankfully received probation, it went on longer than originally planned. He reportedly failed to appear for one of his court hearings, which caused the court to impose an extension upon his probation. The good news is that, last summer, Connor shared that he was now sober, having been addicted to drugs for years. Though the Chandler chidlren have known the Roloffs for over a decade, this was their first appearance on the show. The reason for this was Caryn’s contentious divorce from their father, Joseph Chandler, years ago. The divorce agreement included a stipulation that the kids never appear on Little People, BIg World . Weird, but whatever. Now that they’re adults, they can decide if they go on camera. Meri Brown Takes Shot at Her Sister Wives: "Selfish Women"

For several months now, we’ve been documenting and reading about tension between Kody Brown and his Sister Wives. Did Kody really take off his wedding ring and flirt up a storm during a recent gym visit? Is there any validity to all those divorce rumors? But while it remains worth looking into these stories and wondering about the future of Kody’s quartet of romance, it may also be worth investigating another relationship… … the one between Meri and her fellow Sister Wives. Meri, Robyn, Janelle and Christine Brown have not always gotten along perfectly well for one very obvious reason: They share a husband! This, of course, is the underlying premise behind their TLC series and their polygamous arrangement with Kody and also with each other. All awkward things considered, they’ve handled the situation pretty darn well — but a few cracks in their congeniality may finally be showing. Just consider what Meri posted to her Instagram Story this week. I wish more women realized that helping another woman win, cheering her on, praying for her, or sharing a resource with her, does NOT take away from the blessings coming to them,  Meri wrote, adding: In fact, the more you give, the more you receive. Empowering women doesn’t come from selfishness but rather from selflessness. This message could have been about anyone. Meri never cites Robyn, Janelle or Christine by name or anything. But it’s difficult not to read a lot into the quote, especially when you consider that Brown wanted some financial assistance to open up a bed and breadfast in Utah a little while back… … and none of the Sister Wives were willing to chip in. Doesn’t sound like the actions of women trying to empower another woman, does it? Overall, Meri has been very vocal over the past few years about her dissatisfaction as one of four of Kody’s wives. She and the long-haired reality star are still married, but they basically took a break back in 2016 and 2017, which is when Meri got entangled in a very embarrassing castfishing scandal . Just about a month ago, meanwhile, Meri expressed sadness that Kody had moved the family from Las Vegas to Arizona. “Yesterday I had this overwhelming emotion of missing Las Vegas, the place I called home for nearly 8 years,” her message began . “I mean, I was really really sad for not living there anymore.” She then referenced the sun and the beautiful day and tried to put a positive spin on her new living arrangement — but it was clear she was only attempting to see a silver lining. “There’s a lot of life ahead of me here and I’m anxious to see where it takes me,” Brown continued in late April. On the Sister Wives reunion special that aired that same month, Kody acknowledged trouble between himself and Meri. But also said they were working hard to mend fences and start over. “Meri and I had an abrupt change. Different culture, Different religious values, we might have just [gotten a divorce], but we’re fortunate enough to be blessed to be a part of a family that is its own culture,” he said on air, adding: “So we continue to move forward working on that, steadily moving in a direction where we’re just fully mended.” Meri agreed, but it also sounded like she was sadly resigned to her romantic fate more than excited about it. “You have to figure out a way almost to just cut it off and just be dead,” Meri said of her beliefs about her marriage before the catfishing scandal. “I honestly have had to mourn what is gone.” View Slideshow: Kody Brown: Sorry, Sister Wives, I’m a One-Woman Man Now! Nipsey’s sister,  Samantha Smith ,   and his brother,  Blacc Sam , appeared in L.A. County Superior Court Tuesday for a hearing on the guardianship of the rapper’s 10-year-old daughter,  Emani Asghedom . Emani’s mother,  Tanisha , was at the hearing as well and broke down crying when she saw her daughter for the first time in what she said was months. The courtroom was cleared for 20 minutes while Tanisha and Emani spent some time together. Hell Hath No Fury Like A Targaryen Scorned: ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 8, Episode 5 Recap

Source: Helen Sloan/HBO / HBO C ersei thought she was the baddest bitch in all of Westeros but quickly learned the hard way her reign as the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms is coming to an end. The final straw? Her ordering Sir Zombie Gregor to chop off Daenerys’ trusted advisor Missandei’s head to flex her muscle. The Mother of Dragons’ had that look in her eyes, and it was not the glimmer of hope we were used to seeing but that of rage. The Targaryen gene fully activated and the Mad Queen was born in Game of Thrones penultimate episode. Varys Was Right About Daenerys, Unfortunately For Him Source: Helen Sloan/HBO / HBO The episode opens up with Varys drafting up a note detailing that Jon is the true heir to the throne. We immediately get hints of Dany’s paranoia kicking in, and Tyrion doesn’t help matters by dropping a dime on his friend Lord Varys snitching like Tekashi69 that the castrated master of informants planned to spread the word about her relations with her nephew. For a man with no nuts he sure does have a massive pair for even attempting to go against his Queen. Auntie Dany makes the call and sends Grey Worm to go collect Varys and puts him into chains. It doesn’t take too long this episode to see another cast member go this time. Daenerys gives the word and orders her last remaining dragon to incinerate her former advisor as an example to those who even think about spreading her dirty little incestuous secret. Poor Jon watches in utter shock as he is witnessing first hand the woman he bent the knee to give in to the madness that infests her blood. Jon, after witnessing the woman he once loved descent into madness, has a private talk with the Queen. Snow insisted to Varys before he got turned into a deep-fried turkey, and Daenerys numerously he does not want to sit on the throne. He also no longer has any desire to get in his Aunt’s guts much to her dismay. She takes the hint and decides rather than ruling with love, she will do so using fear as her biggest tool. Madness Activated, Daenerys Burns It All Source: Helen Sloan/HBO / HBO Cersei has the numbers, the golden army, Euron with the Iron Fleet and dragon repellent in the form of giant crossbows called scorpions. She should be confident as hell—her new boy toy shot Rhaegal out the sky quite quickly. Well despite being down to just Drogon, sorry the more dragons theory didn’t pan out, Daenerys came through to King’s Landing and went ham like LeBron James in game 6 of Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics . One dragon, no problem was the motto as the Mother of Dragons lived up to her title and quickly took out Euron and the Iron Fleet. She then set her sights on the Scorpions set up around the kingdom and destroyed them. With those obstacles out the way, she laid waste to the Golden Army and the front gate they were standing in front of. Cersei’s forces knew they were in trouble and quickly decided they didn’t want any of the smoke Daenerys brought to their front door. They threw down their swords to the relief of Jon Snow and sounded the bell signaling a full surrender. While this should have marked the end of the one-sided battle, Tyrion who begged his Queen to show mercy before the lopsided skirmish knew the shit was about to hit the fan. Source: Helen Sloan/HBO / HBO As the bells rang, they probably signaled each person and dragon she lost that was dear to her in her head. Peace was not a part of the plan, and thus the Mad Queen was born. Anybody could get it and that included women, children as well as soldiers who just surrendered. To make matters worse, Khaleesi going off the deep end gave Grey Worm who’s been itching to kick some ass after watching his cuddle bae’s dome get chopped smooth off, permission to go off. The remaining Dothraki, Unsullied and soldiers from Winterfell also joined in the fun with poor Jon absolutely appalled at what he was witnessing. While King’s Landing and its occupants are literally being turned to ash, Cersei is definitely watching from a tower. For some reason, she believes there still is a chance to win, her maester Qyburn had to convince her otherwise telling her its time to get the hell out of dodge before she is turned into a shish kebob. With King’s Landing literally burning and the ash coming down like snowflakes it harkens back to Daenerys’ vision she had while trapped inside The House of Undying. A Fitting End For Jaime and Cersei Source: Helen Sloan/HBO / HBO Jaime left Brienne in tears after busting down her virgin cakes and taking off for King’s Landing to link back up with his twin/lover Cersei. We learn early in the episode he doesn’t make it too far because he gets captured— which Daenerys reveals to Tyrion while she berates him for failing. Tyrion has a soft spot for his brother because Jaime helped him stay alive as a youth. So to pay it forward he decides to help him escaped despite knowing this can mean being turned into a roasted mini marshmallow. The one-handed Lannister takes the mini hand of the of King up on his offer and immediately makes it to King’s Landing. His journey to his incestuous lover is impeded when the doors to the Red Keep are closed forcing him to find another way. He eventually bumps into Euron who somehow survived Drogon’s assault. The two battle out with Euron looking to earn the honor of being the man to take out the Kingslayer. The two get into an intense fight, and Jaime gets wounded severely, but he manages to get the better of Uncle Euron delivering the fatal blow. With Euron out of the way its time to go save Cersei. Source: Helen Sloan/HBO / HBO Cersei is all alone at the moment with her hand Qyburn being hilariously killed by his creation Sir Gregor because he got in the way of his fight with his brother The Hound. The once strong and ruthless queen is now desperate and scared just looking for a way to survive the attack. Jaime finally catches up with her, and they head for the keep, but their road to freedom is blocked off. The two embraced with Jaime consoling his sobbing sister who clearly didn’t think she and her child was going to die. They are both crushed with the castle falling on top of them. Now while many will argue they got a pleasant death they did not deserve, this is actually a fitting death for both of them. They both basked in confidence and to see them go out as mere shadows of their cocky selves was a treat despite Daenerys not getting the opportunity to deliver the final blow. Arya and The Hound Look To Settle The Score Source: Helen Sloan/HBO / HBO Arya wants to kill Cersei really badly and cross her off her list, but she won’t get the chance. BUT it looks like her list got a new name added to it as she witnessed the merciless devastation at the hands of Mad Queen and her giant fire-breathing lizard. Meanwhile, The Hound finally looks to get his revenge on his brother for burning his face as a child. The two giant knights of House Clegane go at it with Sandor learning that his brother is pretty much indestructible. Things look bleak with The Hound almost suffering the same fate as Oberyn Martell at the hands of the Mountain. With some quick thinking, The Hound pulls out a dagger and stabs Sir Gregor in the eye before his undead brother can push in his eyeballs. Source: Helen Sloan/HBO / HBO Realizing this battle is going to be fruitless, The Hound decides to go out in a blaze of gory pushing Sir Gregor through a wall with both of them falling to a fiery death. Arya who managed to survive Drogon’s assault on King’s Landing encounters a horse and hops on it. We can only wonder if she is heading back to Winterfell to tell Sansa or to Dragonstone to take out Daenerys. Next week’s final episode of is going to be L I T!

Hannah Brown: Why Do Fans Think She’ll Be the Worst Bachelorette in the Show’s History?

We’re just days away from the premiere of Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette , and as expected, the ABC promotional machine is going full steam ahead. As part of the effort to drum up interest and remind fans of what drew them to the series in the first place, host Chris Harrison presided over the largest-ever Bachelorette reunion — a gathering of most of the stars from the show’s previous 14 seasons. But it seems that for many, the reunion special (which debuted Wednesday night) had the opposite of its intended effect. The sight of all those beloved Bachelorettes of yore reminded some viewers that Hannah Brown is a very … untraditional choice for the wildly popular dating competition. In the past, the show mostly played it safe when choosing the woman who will be handing out the roses. However, the decision to cast Hannah was so controversial that even some of the franchise’s biggest stars felt the need to speak out. “This is a little intimidating for her. It’s a little scary, it’s a little wild and she isn’t prepped for it,” said former Bachelor star Ben Higgins (though he later retracted his comments). “It’s just random. Like, why?” Corrine Olympios said when asked for her thoughts on Hannah’s casting. “It’s, like, there’s nothing there that would have made me be like, ‘I need to see her again on TV. I need to see her find love.’ Like, she wasn’t even someone that I was like, ‘I want her to find love.’” Even beloved Season 13 star Rachel Lindsay questioned the decision of choosing Hannah as the show’s star, stating: “She wasn’t my first choice or my favorite.” During her stint on The Bachelor , there were times when it seemed that Hannah herself questioned whether she belonged on camera. Her conflict with fellow contestant Caelynn Miller-Keyes often left her in tears, and at various times she dubbed herself a “hot mess” and a “beast” (the latter caught on as an endearing nickname). So why would producers choose her to star in her own season of a show that relies heavily on the charisma of its central lead? Well, for starters, most of the criticism against Hannah is based on subjective observations about her personality, so allow us to go to bat for the former beauty queen: Hannah possesses an awkward, self-deprecating charm seldom found in reality stars (particularly ones whose first taste of the limelight came from competing in pageants). There’s no denying that she’s different from what we’ve seen previously — but that’s not necessarily a bad thing, particularly when it comes to reality shows that long ago surpassed the one-decade mark. The pop cultural landscape in which The Bachelor and The Bachelorette first premiered is markedly different from the one we live in today. Potential viewers have much, much more on their plate with regard to entertainment options, and as a result, long-running network reality series are a dying breed. And so, Harrison and company made the savvy decision to adapt. With Colton Underwood, they gave us something entirely new — a 26-year-old virgin prone to emotional outbursts and episodes of intense self-doubt. The result was one of the show’s more entertaining seasons in recent memory. So are viewers more willing to tolerate idiosyncrasy in men than in women? Most likely, but that doesn’t change the fact that Hannah seems likely to offer up something new and compelling to those who are willing to give her a chance. Grey’s Anatomy Recap: Take THIS, MerLuca Haters!

Ever since Grey’s Anatomy paired Meredith with DeLuca, fans have been complaining about it being the most random pairing in the history of the series.  Thursday’s penultimate episode of Grey’s Anatomy Season 15 just showed how much DeLuca cared about his woman, and it should help the haters get on board with the pairing.  If you watch Grey’s Anatomy online , you know that Meredith risked it all to operate on a patient without insurance.  She went as far as committing insurance fraud by saying the patient’s name was Ellis Grey, her daughter’s.This allowed her own insurance to cover the life-saving surgery.  Richard realized what Mer did, yelled at her a little, and joined in the plan with his own two cents about how Mer could get out of her pickle.  It turns out, her hot Italian boyfriend was ready to take the fall!  Yes, really.  Bailey and Catherine spent much of the intense installment in meetings. DeLuca was later hauled in to answer questions.  “It has come to light that Dr. Meredith Grey submitted her own daughter’s name to pay for Gabriella’s surgery and care, which is both fraud and a felony,” Catherine said to a stunned DeLuca.  Catherine and DeLuca later went to find Meredith, and DeLuca dropped the bombshell.  “Your patient, Gabby Rivera — I lied to you,” he said. “She didn’t have insurance, and she shouldn’t have been admitted, but I wanted her to get the surgery very badly, so I didn’t tell anybody, so I put another name down on the paperwork. Your daughter’s name, Ellis.” That was a pretty great way to his love to Mer, right? In any case, DeLuca is headed for some jail time. There’s no way he gets away with this.  Unless Grey’s is planning on offing another one of Mer’s lovers. That would suck.  Elsewhere, Meredith tried to help Jo through her difficult time. It’s crazy how far these two have come.  Meredith said that she could understand what Jo was going through because all of the trauma she’s been through over the years.  This prompted Jo to lash out.  “Was your mother raped by your father? Is that why you exist? Do you look like a rapist? Do you wear his face?” Jo yelled. “Okay then. I don’t think you do get this, so please go home.” Meredith refused to leave, and Jo ultimately told her the full story. Meredith was adamant that Jo did not have to be defined by her past.  “You have an enormous will, and an enormous heart, and an enormous capacity for survival,” Meredith said. “You’ve taken all this darkness and used it to help people who are walking through the same.” “You lined that hallway with women to help that woman who was hurting badly just hurt a little bit less,” she continued. “You’ve taken your darkest experiences that life gave you, and you turned it around and turned it into light.” “And if the woman who gave birth to you doesn’t want to see that, then that’s on her.” Meredith then told Jo to get a shower because they were going to the hospital to speak to Alex and Bailey to get her some time off work to get her life back in order.  Yay, right? Unfortunately, it has fallen on deaf ears and has now impacted their newborn son. On Thursday, one BBC broadcaster was fired for comparing baby Archie to a chimp. According to the Los Angeles Times , radio host Danny Baker tweeted out a picture of two adults holding hands with a tiny chimp, with the caption, “Royal baby leaves the hospital.” Yeah, he REALLY tried it. Of course, Baker tried to backtrack by deleting the tweet and explaining and apologizing multiple times, claiming he did not know it was racist. “Sorry my gag pic of the little fella in the posh outfit has whipped some up,” the 61-year-old tweeted first. “Never occurred to me because, well, mind not diseased. On the latest episode of Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Red Table Talk, Curry revealed that she feels insecure that she doesn’t get the same attention from men that her superstar husband Steph Curry gets from women. “Something that really bothers me, and honestly has given me a sense of a little bit of an insecurity, is the fact that yeah, there are all these women, like, throwing themselves (at him), but me, like the past 10 years, I don’t have any of that. I have zero – this sounds weird – but, like, male attention, and so then I begin to internalize it, and I’m like, ‘Is something wrong with me?’ I don’t want it but it’d be nice to know that, like, someone’s lookin’.” Folks on the Internet were divided in their opinion of the cookbook author’s comments. Unfortunately, vicious trolls seem to enjoy taunting Hailey Baldwin about Selena Gomez’s storied history with Justin Bieber. Hailey and the Biebs are married, but this week, they went out in public and did not look like a happy couple. A new report can explain the conflict and its all-too-familiar source. Is this the end of their nascent marriage? On Wednesday, May 8, Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey Baldwin, were spotted walking out and about in New York. That’s no real shock. Justin has been in treatment for his mental health, and has reportedly been doing so in the Big Apple. What people found shocking was that something seemed to be majorly off between the married couple. In contrast to their PDA-filled walks around London, it looked like Justin was keeping his distance from his own wife. WTH?! RadarOnline reports that this can all be explained, because Justin is currently distracted by thoughts of another woman: Selena Gomez. “Justin and Selena are in contact from time to time,” an insider, who is allegedly close to Selena, reports. The source explains that this is “because they have both gone through really dark periods this past year.” Selena’s health battle has been ongoing and brutal, and Justin has been fighting for his own mental wellbeing. The insider adds that the two endured crises “at almost the same time.” According to the report, this alleged love triangle has spilled over into the public appearances that the stars choose to make. “Selena avoided the Met gala,” the source observes. Meanwhile, Hailey showed up without Bieber. The insider says that this is “because she thinks that Hailey is a phase that Justin is going through.” “And,” the source grimly notes. “Hailey knows this.” That’s a great reminder that, last year, Hailey attended with Shawn Mendes. This year, she attended as a married woman. Wild. It was only about a month and a half ago when Justin Bieber admitted that he’ll always love Selena . “Justin recently said that he still loved Selena,” the insider points out. Apparently, this did not go over well on the marital front. Hailey of course heard “and Hailey lost it,” the reports claims. It doesn’t help that many considered Justin going back to Hailey a rebound after his rekindled romance with Selena fizzled out. “Selena knows that Justin loves her,” the source affirms. Thankfully, there’s some good news. The insider continues: “but she has moved on with her life.” Those of us who didn’t love seeing one of the world’s most talented singers play babysitter to a talented by troubled young man can breathe a sigh of relief. “And,” the report notes, Selena “has started dating again.” RadarOnline also spoke to a “body language expert,” which is a great career to take up since phrenology fell out of style. The thing that makes body language experts so convincing is that they combine common sense with imagination to paint a compelling picture. Based upon all of the sightings of the Biebs and Hailey, he did seem like he was lost in his own little world. (We obviously don’t have an issue with experts, but there are very specific “fields” of expertice that are given more credence than they deserve) Now, we have to emphasize that nothing in this report — nothing about Justin’s issues being linked to Selena — are confirmed. If they are in touch, we’re sure that Selena has zero desire to harm that marriage or to start things up with the Biebs again.
