KRQE-TV reports that 22-year-old Thomas Clark is facing robbery charges after police say he stole his grandmother’s purse during a bizarre robbery at an Albuquerque home. According to police, the woman confronted Clark, dressed in black with a purple bandana over his face, last week when he broke into her home. Police say the woman yanked off the mask but Clark pushed her and fled with her purse. He was arrested later at his parents’ home. Police say he confessed and said he did it for casino money. According to NBC News A Florida man was beaten, robbed, forced to strip naked and abandoned on the side of a road Friday evening during a first date gone horribly wrong, according to police. Authorities found nude, bloodied Shaun Paul Williams, 34, walking on the shoulder of State Road 100 in Bunnell, Fla., late Friday near a cow pasture where Williams said he was assaulted and mugged by his date and her two unidentified male companions earlier that evening, according to a Flagler County Sheriff’s Office case report. Williams told sheriff’s deputies that he met the unidentified woman at a convenience store in Daytona Beach, Fla., two weeks ago. They struck up a friendship and later arranged to go out on June 14, according to the report. The woman picked up Williams in front of the same convenience store for their first date Friday evening. After Williams entered the woman’s vehicle, he discovered two unidentified adult men – one of whom the woman introduced as her brother, the report states. She told Williams that she would take him out to dinner after she dropped off the two unidentified men at her brother’s home. But after several minutes on the road, the woman abruptly turned onto an unknown side street, Williams told investigators. The woman’s alleged brother instructed her to stop somewhere along the side street because he had to “wait for a friend.” She then backed into what Williams described to investigators as an “empty cow pasture.” Williams told investigators that he then exited the vehicle to urinate but was allegedly bludgeoned twice in the face with a “hard metal object.” He collapsed to the ground and held his face in his hands while one of the unidentified men allegedly said, “Give me all your money and all your clothes.” Williams told police he said, “Are you serious?” One of the unidentified men allegedly responded, “Do you see what I’ve got pointed at you?” Williams said he then opened his eyes and saw a semi-automatic pistol pointed straight at his face, according to the report. After Williams complied with their orders, the woman and her two male companions then fled the scene in the vehicle, according to the report. All told, Williams claimed he was robbed of $200 in cash, a Straight Talk pre-paid cellular phone, his Florida driver’s license, a gray tank top, black Dickie shorts and a pair of DC sneakers. A sheriff’s deputy who discovered a “disoriented” Williams took him to a hospital, where he was treated for several lacerations on the right side of his face, according to the case report. Flagler County Sheriff’s Office investigators are working to identify and pursue the three suspects, authorities said. It could have been worse. He could have had a peen stuffed in his mouth. According to Mail Online A woman was beaten to death after a row with neighbors over her daughter’s western clothing turned into a riot. Keshmal Dubey, 55, was killed after a long-running dispute over her daughter Gunjan’s choice of jeans over traditional Indian clothing descended into mob violence in the city of Aligarh, 90 miles from New Delhi. Several people were injured in the trouble which started after a neighbour, named Pulwati, repeatedly criticised the 20-year-old college student’s choice of dress. According to the Times, Aligarh police superintendent Amit Pathak said: ‘The girl’s neighbour would constantly pass comments on the way the girl dressed. ‘On this occasion, she was in jeans and the woman, as usual, started passing comments. ‘A fight ensued which grew ugly when the neighbour got other men to support her.’ The girl’s father, Netrapal Dubey, told India Today that the neighbour had asked him to stop his daughter wearing the jeans because it made her sons stare at the girl. He said that she warned him that Gunjan was at risk of being sexually harrassed, or ‘Eve-teased’ as it is known in India, by young men. Mr Dubey claims that a mob of men carrying guns and clubs forced their way into the family home and hit his wife over the head with a rifle butt, killing her and injuring him and his daughter. The trouble was eventually diffused when fellow neighbours stepped in to halt the violence. A man and a woman were arrested according to police and face charges of murder and attempted murder. Investigators say she stabbed a man with the heel of her shoe. Authorities found the woman in the apartment with the victim at The Parklane, luxury highrise condominiums in the 1700 block of Hermann Drive. Another tenant called 911 around 4am Sunday, telling dispatchers someone was being assaulted. When officers arrived, Ana Lilia Trujillo answered the door to a unit on the 18th floor. That’s where they found the 59-year-old victim’s body. According to Houston police, the man was stabbed multiple times. The weapon investigators think she used: a stiletto heel. Officers detained Trujillo and questioned her at the scene. They said she was initially cooperative, but she reportedly stopped speaking to investigators and was transported downtown for additional questioning. Investigators said the victim lived in the apartment, but Trujillo did not and was visiting. Their relationship is unknown. Residents at The Parklane were hesitant to talk about the crime. The few who did speak with us off camera admitted they were shocked by what happened. Trujillo, 44, has been charged with murder. The victim’s name has not been released. The motive is unclear and the investigation continues. Men, ya’ll have to be more careful messing with these females. You out here freaking them and they want a relationship.
