Yoyo is experiencing ageism from her own daughter, and A1’s mother tried it when she insinuated that it’s Lyrica’s fault that A1 ain’t treating her right. Let’s start with Yoyo. We know she has been helping other rappers work on their technique through her rap school, but she’s also planning a musical comeback. She basically described her comeback as being the Yoyo we know, but with modern sensibilities. That’s going to be interesting given the mumble app tendencies of today’s most popular hits. If anything, the fans that grew up with her might be interested in hearing what she’s working with…or maybe not. It really is a mixed bag because people are so finicky but also arbitrary these days when it comes to what entertainment they like. Plus, this culture is dominated by youth and that is where Yoyo’s pregnant daughter comes in because a lot of people may feel Yoyo should fall back. Yoyo’s daughter feels like mom is doing too much, and wants her to settle down. She obviously wants her mom to settle down for selfish reasons. She wants her mom around to play grandma and help with the baby. Instead of being tactful about it she says, “You’ve always been working, it’s time for you to settle down you’re a grandma.” Yoyo replies, “Girl bye!” And it makes you wonder, why can’t Yoyo have everything she wants? It’s possible for her to be working and a doting grandmother. Why are people so bothered when women of a certain age are still about pursuing their passions? Do you think it would be a different response if Yoyo were a man? Let’s fast forward a bit. The episode ends with Lyrica and A1’s dysfunction. They’re not happy and haven’t been for a while. They both initially said they were going to try to work it out but then Lyrica said she found out about more infidelity that A1 was dishonest about and this makes her not sure about their future. It doesn’t help that A1’s mother, Pam, steps into the fray and creates more chaos. Pam called herself stepping in to help and only made things worse. She especially tried it when she said, “Men do stuff because of women.” Then she added that Lyrica never cooks. Basically, she’s saying that A1 cheating is Lyrica’s fault. A1’s goofy self is there agreeing with his mother. Unfortunately, a lot of people have the archaic and baseless view that a failed relationship is the woman’s fault. However, it’s obvious that A1 and Lyrica both play a part in their issues. If they’re serious about working it out then perhaps a therapist (or even Marriage Bootcamp ) is the best option. But if not, they should probably move on instead of playing tit for tat games, and definitely keep the meddling mamas out of their business. Was A1’s mother out of pocket with her comments? BROWN / Getty The sister of Los Angeles Clippers ‘ forward Kawhi Leonard is being accused of beating an 84-year-old woman to death at Temecula casino last week according to authorities. Kimesha Monae Williams, 35, and another woman were arrested for an August 31 attack that took place at the Pechanga Resort. Per NBC Los Angeles Kimesha Monae Williams, 35, was one of two women arrested in the Aug. 31 attack at the Pechanga Resort. Authorities said that Williams and Candance Tai Townsell, 39, followed Afaf Anis Assad, 84, into the bathroom of the casino. They then beat her and robbed her, officials said. Deputies found Assad unconscious. She died Wednesday in the hospital. Williams and Townsell were booked on suspicion of assault resulting in great bodily injury, conspiracy, robbery, and elder abuse. Due to investigators learning of Williams relationship with Leonard, Riverside authorities announced her bail was “enhanced” to $1 million. This is definitely not the news the Klaw was expecting to hear regarding his name with the 2019-20 NBA season quickly approaching. There were splashes of pink, lots of gold, and the sounds of women fawning over shining jewels. The woman behind this dream of a shopping experience is Tenisha Light-Caba. The entrepreneur, who stood in the midst of all of the excitement in a jean Fenty dress , lucite heels and her own vintage Chanel earrings and gold link bracelets fashioned into anklets, started the business in 2010. However, she has been selling vintage jewelry since she was a kid living in California. “I had rummage sales every weekend, making money selling my grandmother’s jewelry,” she told me. “Then it became my chore to clean another grandmother’s jewelry. One would let me make money at the rummage sales selling the jewelry right in front of the house. Nowadays, Tenisha works with private collectors who’ve been in the business for decades to pull together her one-of-a-kind collection, which she’s been able to put in her new store located in The Oculus , otherwise known as Westfield World Trade Center in Manhattan. “I tend to like to work with the same people. This is how I’m able to get my hands on the good stuff. I take care of them, they take care of me,” she said. “They have a lot. They have more than what I could ever afford to buy. Where they get it from? Who knows.” Her collection has expanded greatly, taking her from her early beginnings of selling in a brownstone, moving on to Chelsea Market, to eventually having her own space, one of the few minority-owned businesses in the Oculus. “We first started our business in a historic brownstone in Brooklyn,” she said of her journey. “I’ve never had the space. I’ve usually worked at an artisan market. This is the biggest space I’ve ever had. This gives me a chance to really shine, have lighting and really make it my own.” It hasn’t been an easy journey, but it’s been a successful one. During her days working at markets like Artists & Fleas and Top Shop on 5th Avenue, Tenisha broke records for her sales. “I worked,” she said. “I put the work in. It’s been so many things that happened in the world over the past 10 years and in that time, I’ve had my business full time. I’m independently funded. I don’t have investors. Items from big name fashion houses like Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel, as well as daintier, unique items from all over. The good news is, everything is affordable, but there are items specific to every wallet. For instance, she has inexpensive earrings and necklaces from the ’70s, her “Dainty” and “Re.Fresh” collections. They are old stock that she received from a collector who had a wholesale business in the 1970s, and she replated everything to give it a fresh look. They are being sold between the $20-$40 range. The wide-ranging prices are part of Tenisha’s hope to make people from all walks vintage fans — and welcome when they visit Brooklyn Bleu. “I want people to feel welcomed, to feel like they’re at home. I want them to feel comfortable and good — just as good when they leave,” she said. “That’s the experience they get when they walk through the door, that’s how people treat them, that’s courtesy. That’s being professional and knowing what you have to offer as well. I have to train and work really hard with my staff too so they can pass on that same experience.” She also wants people to know that Brooklyn Bleu will be flexible. If you get a piece and for some reason you need to return it (allergies, any other unexpected issue), she welcomes it back. You’ll understand when you step in the space and find yourself mesmerized by the statement necklaces, quirky rings, avante-garde earrings, delightful vintage mirrors and ornate bags. Especially at the cost. “It’s important to offer pieces that are accessible and vintage,” she said. “When I go to a place and it feels like everything is just too expensive, it’s like, ‘I thought I was making good money! I can’t even afford this.’ I didn’t ever want people to feel that in here — and they don’t. We have customers who take four and five pieces. Source: Prince Williams / Getty Trina ‘s mother has passed away, TMZ confirmed. The Miami rapper’s mother, Vernessa “Nessa” Taylor died early Tuesday morning (Sept. 3) after a battle with cancer. She was 62. “Thank you all for your kind words and condolences regarding Trina’s mother. It truly gives the family some peace and comfort knowing that ‘Nessa’ lived such a fulfilling life filled with love and abundance,” Trina’s rep said in a statement. Trina and her family are asking for privacy during this difficult time. Taylor was known as a “pillar of her community,” a supporter of women an advocate for “self-love, confidence, and perseverance among women in general,” and the woman who helped shape her daughter into one of hip-hop’s most influential rappers and businesswomen. Trina recently paid tribute to her mom on the 2017 song “Mama” featuring Kelly Price . The song also appears on Trina’s recently released album The One . She gave the Recording Academy a behind-the-scenes look at the music video, which paid touching tribute to Taylor. “My mom was kinda sick when I was in the studio making this song, and I was in a really down place,” she told the Academy. “I called her on the phone, she wasn’t feeling so good, so that inspired the song. I just went into the studio with all these emotions … and that’s how it came out.” “Respect, admire, love your mom,” she added. “You only get one mom in the entire world. You can never, ever get another one. No matter what happens, one only comes your way, that’s a blessing.”

He also left his fellow Bachelor in Paradise contestants questioning their feelings, themselves and their place on the show in general. In particular, we write here about Tayshia Adams and Blake Horstmann and their reaction yesterday evening to Derek’s stunning departure. Tayshia, for instance, wasn’t certain how she felt about John Paul Jones in the wake of the Derek decision, while Blake had started to realizie his chances of finding love in Mexico were slim to, quite possibly, none. Yes, Adams admitted, she had a “soft spot” for Jones — but what did that really mean in the bigger picture? As for Horstmann? He had an epiphany on Tuesday’s episode and actually convinced himself that Kristina Schulman was the woman he had been searching for all along. “We always gravitate toward each other,” he told viewers on air. “Maybe we owe each other this, to give it a shot.” Suddenly inspirde, Blake grabbed Kristina for a chat and told her he was “all in” and totally sure of it… at the moment. “I thought I just wanted to be friends with you, I did,” he said. “And here I am, saying that I can’t stop thinking about you. And yet: Blake stuck to his word, nicely declining Bri’s date card. She ended up going surfing with fellow newcomer Matt Donald, while Blake desperately – and unsuccessfully – attempted to break down Kristina’s walls back at the bungalows. At last, we get to Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Connor Saeli (from Hannah Brown‘s season of The Bachelorette), two people looking for love and no drama. “I came here for a relationship, and finally, I feel good,” Caelynn said at one point. “Connor and I are exploring what we have, and I’m happy. I deserve this after the hell that I’ve been through.” However, all was about to change. Just when it seemed as if nothing could go wrong, a freshly-shaven Dean Unglert made his totally unexpected return (!!!!!!!!!!) to beg Caelynn for another chance after dumping her — just a week ago. “When I left, I made a decision that I thought was best for you, but it wasn’t really fair of me to make that decision,” he explained, adding: “Then I flew back to San Diego, and the entire flight back I literally could not stop thinking about you. I rented a car and drove to the Grand Canyon, and as I was there I thought about how badly I wished that you were there with me.” How sweet and not remotely scripted, right? “I knew that I needed to come here and tell you that I wanted us to try and be in a relationship,” Dean added. “I came here to ask you if you would leave Paradise with me today.” Wow, huh? Caelynn didn’t know what to say or what to do. “Right now, I’m the most confused I’ve ever been in my entire life. Comedian Kevin Hart has reportedly been injured in a car accident in the wee hours of Sunday morning, according to multiple sources. Hart was involved in the accident while in the Plymouth Barracuda, a classic car he’d purchased to celebrate his 40th birthday back in July. The comedian/actor was reportedly not driving, according to TMZ, but the Barracuda went over a guardrail on Hollywood’s Mulholland Drive, a steep road winding through the Hollywood Hills. Kevin and an as yet unidentified woman were passengers while another man drove. Both Hart and the man were suffered major back injuries according to multiple reports. After being freed from prison after 21 years with the help of Kim Kardashian , Alice Johnson is now starring in an ad for the reality star’s new shapewear line SKIMS. “I was serving a 25-year sentence without the possibility of parole. First, she got divorced, then lost her job, and had to file for bankruptcy, which prompted her house to go into foreclosure. Sadly in 1992, her youngest son Corey died in an accident. Suffering from depression and watching her life spiral out of control, Johnson started hanging out with drug dealers and found herself caught up in a lucrative operation that transported and distributed cocaine to Memphis, Tennessee. In 1993, she was arrested, along with 15 others involved in the same drug bust. Somehow the prosecutors convinced the others to testify against her in court. While they were given sentences ranging from probation without jail time to 10 years, Johnson was sentenced to life in prison without parole, plus another 25 years.
