According to WSBTV, a pregnant woman was at a southwest Atlanta gas station on Metropolitan Parkway when the thief hopped into her car and tried to pull off. The woman immediately tried to open her car door when the thief sped away with the woman still attached to the door of the car. The scary moment was caught on surveillance video. Amber Portwood … It’s just not a great situation right now, everything that’s been going on with her. Is that the understatement of the year? Yeah, maybe. And sure, it would be nice to just leave it at that, to not go into the details of Amber’s latest crimes. But to talk about where she’s going, we have to talk about where she’s been, don’t we? So let’s just go ahead and recap Amber’s tale of machete madness one more time. Back on the fourth of July, Amber and her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, reportedly got into an argument over some fireworks —there was some traffic and road work, so they weren’t able to get where they needed to be to see them. It sounds like such a non-issue — just go a different way, or see different fireworks, whatever — but it seemed to have set Amber off in a big way. He dropped her off at home and went back out with their one-year-old, James, to figure out the situation with the dumb fireworks, and when he did, he went back home. That’s when Amber allegedly began beating him with a shoe while he was holding James. They left again, leaving Amber at home, and drove around for around three hours before Andrew picked up some food and a present and tried going home again. She was still agitated, enough that, according to Andrew’s statement, she took a handful of pills and told him she was going to kill herself. But wait, it gets crazier. She ended up throwing up the pills, but later she picked up a machete and went after him while he was holding the baby. He went to another room and locked the door, but she hit the door with the machete and tried to kick it down — that’s when he finally reached out to 911 and officers came to arrest her . Amber was charged with three felonies, and she was only just able to see James in a supervised visit . Andrew has filed for full custody, and he definitely seems done with their relationship. It’s an awful story, and it could get a lot worse — there’s a real chance she could go back to prison for this. So what is she doing in the meantime? Oh, you know, just chillin’ with some corn. Amber has remained pretty quiet on social media after her arrest — besides posting about being “heartbroken” by reports that Andrew is already talking to another woman , she’s been totally silent. But this weekend, she’s been easing back into things, first by posting a photo of some good ol’ Indiana corn fields. She then posted a video of some corn up close, and captioned it “Relaxation in the beautiful country.” Last night, she posted a selfie, her first since the incident, and although it’s pretty dark, we can only assume that she’s once again out in the corn fields. “Nighttime meditation and relaxation with music and nature,” she captioned that picture. With all these posts about relaxation and meditation, it’s pretty clear what she’s doing, right? She wants us all to believe that she’s thinking about things, that she’s trying to grow and reflect and be a better person. She’s got her comments turned off on Instagram, but she’s set her posts there to go to Twitter, and Twitter has some things to say about all of this. “Get help and stop abusing men,” one of her followers suggested. Another pointed out “If you are abusing men in front of your children, you are abusing your children. It’s so sick.” One particularly blunt person commented “You need to check yourself into an inpatient clinic. Then you need to actually do the work. You’re a terrible human being, but with intense treatment & the right medication, you might make into the ‘not so bad’ category.” But, believe it or not, the positive, supportive comments far outweigh the critical ones — so many people have told her things like “this too shall pass” and “stay strong!” And that is absolutely insane. Amber is a violent person. We know this, and we’ve seen it many times. We saw her assault Gary more than once back in the day on Teen Mom, and of course there was that reunion where she tried to hit Farrah . In her time with Matt Baier, we heard reports as well as statements from both of them that led many to believe that they may have been violent with each other. And now there’s all this new stuff with Andrew — and remember, while she denied the machete part, she did admit to beating him with the shoe. She is mentally ill, and she’s been very open about how much she struggles with her illnesses, and we definitely believe her, but the fact is that mental illness is just not an excuse for behaving like this. Many people with Amber’s same diagnosis manage to go through life without hurting the people close to them like this, and honestly, it’s pretty bizarre that so many people are defending her right now. Source: Leon Bennett / Getty Lena Waithe Reportdely Signs 2-Year Overall Deal With Amazon According to Deadline , Lena Waithe has reportedly signed a deal with Amazon Studios to produce programs for Prime Video for the next two years. Waithe already planned to release her horror anthology series, Them , on the Amazon platform, but the new deal opens the door for more dope content. Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke expressed her excitement about the deal. “Lena is a powerhouse writer and producer who also has a gift for identifying exciting and authentic voices..Our upcoming series Them is the result of her rare ability to cultivate brilliant voices like Little Marvin and bring his wholly original and compelling vision to Amazon. We look forward to collaborating with Lena and her team for years to come.” Waithe said she’s ready the next step: “I couldn’t be more excited about this new partnership with Amazon Studios and am looking forward to this next chapter..Both of our goals are aligned in that we want to continue elevating storytellers who are underrepresented and have a unique vision of the world.” In addition to her currently running programs, Waithe’s hyped film Queen & Slim is set to drop in November.

Matthew Gibson, 26, was reportedly pronounced dead at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, the Cook County medical examiner’s office announced. The alleged passenger who shot him , has been charged with aggravated battery with a firearm, and is expected to face a murder count, according to Cook County prosecutors. Lee, 27, of Englewood, was denied bail during a hearing on Tuesday. Gibson was driving when he pulled alongside a white SUV waiting to make a left turn, prosecutors said. Lee, was seated in the front passenger seat and began firing at the SUV with a .40-caliber handgun and accidentally shot Gibson in the head.. Even with the gunshot wound, Gibson was able to drive more than two miles to the 6700 block of South Marshfield. A 22-year-old man was also wounded in the shooting. His death was ruled a homicide. Lee was paroled April 21 after serving eight years for a 2011 conviction for aggravated battery with a handgun, according to Illinois Department of Corrections records.

I don’t know what to believe. You never know what couples will do, especially when abuse is a part of their relationship, as we have seen. But I can admit that there was something desperate about this video. And I can’t understand why Fab would say he would need to fight for his relationship by posting this video, if there was really nothing going on. Perhaps he really was on a date and is trying to save himself from having to deal with those consequences. Then again, this wouldn’t be the first time he’s stepped out on Emily. According to TMZ , former NBA player Lorenzen Wright’s wife, Sherra Wright, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for facilitating his murder along with her church friend Billy Turner. For those who don’t remember, Lorenzen was found shot to death in a swamp 10 days after he was reported missing back in 2010. Source: NurPhoto / Getty An Oregon sheriff’s department took to their Facebook page to share the details of its “weirdest DUI arrest of the weekend,” which involved law enforcement officials arresting a woman after she poured alcohol into a Taco Bell drive-thru employees mouth. The incident took place at around 1 a.m. on Saturday at a Taco Bell branch in Beaverton, Oregon, according to Washington County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect is 23-year-old Elianna Aguilar-Aguilar, who had a blood alcohol level of 0.12 percent, over the Oregon state limit of 0.08. The Sheriff’s Office wrote in its Facebook post that Aguilar poured the alcohol into the employee’s mouth “right in front of a sheriff’s office sergeant,” while she was “still in her car.” The Oregonian reported that the woman’s drink of choice was Hennessy Cognac, but Washington County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Brian van Kleef clarified that the Taco Bell employee didn’t actually consume the alcohol. “We talked to the employee after, and he said most of it was spilled on him and that he actually didn’t consume the Hennessy,” he told the publication. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion special aired Tuesday night, and while there was a fair amount of drama on set, the real fireworks were going off on Twitter. You see, Brandi Glanville was clearly watching the show live, and the former RHOBH cast member had a lot to say about the proceedings: As you may recall, Glanville was fired from the show back in 2015, but either her ex-castmates still get under her skin, or she’s angling to get her old job back, because Brandi was throwing some major shade online during Tuesday night’s broadcast. Most of her ire was directed at Camille Grammer, who argued that Brandi was the reason Lisa Vanderpump decided not to attend this year’s reunion : “She’s pissed about Brandi,” Camille said at one point. “[She’s pissed Brandi] showed up on the show, absolutely. She’s her archenemy! She feels so betrayed.” From there, Brandi turned her attention to Denise Richards and accused of her conspiring with Brandi against Lisa: “I’m just assuming — and I could be absolutely wrong — but she felt throughout this season that you’ve had her back, Denise, but you talking to Brandi,” said an outraged Camille. “Brandi’s her archenemy.” While the Glanville-Vanderpump feud is the stuff of legend, Camille is likely overstating her case, as Lisa had lots of reasons to skip the reunion. On the show, Denise argued that she and Brandi “didn’t meet to talk about Vanderpump.” And on Twitter, Brandi positively unloaded on Camille: “I am NOT LVP’s arch enemy!! That is absolute insanity. Trust and believe that is UNTRUE!!!” Glanville tweeted. “I adore [Denise] after meeting her at a dinner party for our mutual agent! [Not to mention] 95% of our conversation was not about LVP at all!” From there, Brandi revealed that she was quick to reach out when Lisa’s brother died last year. Then she continued to go off on Grammer: “Nope [Camille] I don’t buy it!” Brandi continued. “She knows for a fact that I’m a proper f–king person and that I do the RIGHT thing when I’m suppose to. We may not be friends but I’m not LVP’s #1enemy.” When a fan agreed with Brandi’s sentiments, Glanville replied by dismissing Camille as a “wishy-washy c-nt.” And believe it or not, the tirade didn’t end there: “Let me be clear, LVP and I have a past that we will not recover from but I refuse to let [Denise] be called out for provoking anything!” Brandi tweeted. “I was on ONE episode of an entire season where the women had their own separate issues with her. That’s f–king it.” She added: “It’s clear to me that if certain people feel that they are going down they have the need to take everyone down with them. If I had done that the ENTIRE housewives world would be ‘shook.’ “I’m not that person and that’s not how I’m raising my boys. Finally, some good news for Amber Portwood. It’s not very much, but the troubled Teen Mom OG star could use all the positivity she can find right about now. The 29-year old appeared in Marion County Court today, attending her second scheduled hearing since being arrested early July 5 for domestic assault. She has since been charged with three felonies due to an alleged altercation with boyfriend Andrew Glennon that involved Amber reportedly throwing a shoe at her lover and also wielding a machete. Glennon was holding the couple’s 14-month old son, James, at the time. Shortly after the attack, Glennon was granted a no-contact order against Portwood, meaning she was legally banned from seeing James or Andrew. On July 18, however, Amber was permitted to spend some time with her son — under the supervision of a professional, that is. In court on Thursday, this no-contact order was lifted. Portwood is now permitted to see James on a more frequent basis, but these visits must still be supervised by an outside party. Not ideal for Amber, obviously, but it’s something. Terms of the visitation, including where the visits will take place, will be discussed in the future at a Child in Need of Services hearing. This has been scheduled for August 22. Elsewhere, for the record, the no-contact order against Glennon actually remains in place. Andrew himself was also present at the hearing, while MTV cameras were seen recording outside of the courtroom. It sure seems that way, despite Amber’s future on the show appearing to be hazy at the moment. For Andrew’s part, he is still seeking full custody and still wants to prevent Portwood from having un supervised visits with James after the violent incident from three weeks ago. Glennon alleged in paperwork filed earlier this month that his estranged girlfriend is “currently unable to provide a safe, stable and secure environment” for their child “due to her frequent refusal and/or failure to take medicines prescribed to treat her mental-health conditions, among other concerns.” Portwood has often acknowledged she is bipolar and has also mentioned that she doesn’t always take her medication. On a more personal front, Amber shared a meme about cheating last week that strongly implied she thinks Glennon has been disloyal to her. A source close to Andrew told Us Weekly this was never the case, however, although a new report from Radar Online states Glennon has at least been texting some mystery woman. He has not met this woman, according to this website, but he has asked for her to visit Indiana and he has asked her to send him photos. This is the aforementioned meme that Portwood shared and then quickly deleted: In an Affidavit for Probable Cause, obtained by multiple outlets, Portwood made Glennon feel like he “dropped the ball” because they couldn’t get through traffic to see fireworks the night before this incident took place. When they returned home, Portwood struck her boyfriend with a shoe. “Mr. Glennon stated he was holding [James] and he turned to the side to avoid him getting struck with the shoe,” the document reads. At one point during this back-and-forth, Glennon says “Portwood went to her drawer and took a handful of Klonopin and tossed it back like it was nothing,” the court papers read. From there, Glennon ran to the bathroom and locked both himself and James inside. This is when Andrew claims Amber picked up a sword, which she had around the house for protection, and: “She hit the door with the machete and kicked the door and broke the handle.” Glennon proceeded to text 911 for assistance; officers arrived on scene; and the arrest was made.
