Florida Woman Filmed Herself Being Raped By Parole Officer A parole officer in South Florida was fired and later arrested last week after a woman who was serving probation accused him of raping her, and provided video evidence of one of the alleged rapes. Yes, she filmed her own rape… Via News Mic reports: WSVN reports that the accused parole officer, 50-year-old former Florida Department of Corrections employee Zachary Thomas Bailey, assaulted the woman twice after using his authority to force his way into her home. In the first encounter, she accused Bailey of blocking her in her bedroom and touching her genitals. In the second, the woman says he raped her. “The victim said she recorded the [second] incident on her phone not only so police would believe her, but so Bailey would not be able to write a false parole violation against her for reporting the rape,” WSVN reported. “This is someone who is hired to protect you, hired to say, ‘Hey, protect the society,’ and you don’t expect your probation officer to be acting in this manner,” Coral Springs Police Lt. Joe McCue told WSVN. “The victim said, ‘This is rape. This is rape. I don’t want you to do this.’ Unfortunately, she was in fear that if she reported this, he would violate her probation and put her back in jail.” According to records examined by the Sun Sentinel, Bailey has no prior arrests and had at least four prior recognitions in 1997, 1999 and 2002, including two for “‘outstanding efforts’ regarding contact standards.” Lock this sicko up for life and film someone taking his cookies in prison!
It’s been almost four years since Amy Winehouse died from alcohol poisoning, and of all the stars who tragically joined the “27 club,” few make us wonder what might have been quite like Amy. The singer had become an international sensation with Back to Black just a few years prior to her death, and many expected her to mature into one of the great singer/songwriters of the 21st Century. Unfortunately, Amy’s struggles with drugs and drinking prevented her from ever recording a follow-up, and in July of 2011, she was found dead in her London home. Now, award-winnning director Asif Kapadia is paying tribute to the woman with the unforgettable beehive ‘do and one-of-a-kind voice with a documentary that chronicles Winehouse’s meteoric rise and devastating fall: Amy Documentary Teaser “I’m not a girl trying to be a star,” a young Amy tells an interviewer at one point. Asked how famous she thinks she’ll become, Winehouse shyly replies, “I don’t. I don’t think I’m going to be at all famous. I don’t think I could handle it. I think I would go mad.” It’s a side of the music legend that few fans ever saw, or even knew existed. With her myriad tattoos and rebellious image, it was hard – at the height of her fame – to imagine Amy as anything other than bold, brash and endlessly self-assured. As her struggles and tragic demise later reminded us, however, the spotlight never suited Winehouse, and her insecurities would eventually consume her. Toward the end of her life, Amy became better-known for her tabloid misadventures than for her remarkable talent. Hopefully, Kapadia’s film (due for release this summer) will remind the world of the genius that was so often overshadowed by her self-destructive tendencies.
Dear Bossip , I’m writing in for some advice. I know you’re famous for your saying, “mind yo damn business,” which I am doing, but something is just not sitting well with me. I’ve been staying with a friend of my mothers. I call her my auntie because the length of time her and my mom have been friends. She can be cool, but over the years I’ve noticed how manipulating and conniving she is. For example, she does my taxes and the year she did my taxes she got her utilities switched over in my name without me knowing. I confronted her and got everything turned off, but that’s not why I’m writing you. My aunt had been on and off with this guy for nine years. He’s been caught cheating numerous of times so my aunt had let him do him until he was ready to come home. He even cheated with one of my friends. SMH! One day, my mom came into town. My mom lives in a different state. I stayed behind to finish college and that’s why I’m staying with my mom’s friend. My mom and I were on the Metro train on our way to Chicago when this lady started talking about this man. The man had the same name as my aunt’s boyfriend. So, my mom being the nosey one, decided to join in on the conversation. She started asking question like “Joseph” who? The lady got on at the same train stop as us so my mom knew she probably was talking about someone in town. The lady was a big blabber mouth and spilled all the tea. She gave his first and last name and a full blown description of him. My mom and I both knew she was talking about my aunt’s on and off boyfriend of nine years. The most disgusting part came afterwards. She told us that “Joseph” had been involved with her sister and that he gave her AIDS. The look on mine and my mother’s face was priceless. We were moved by those allegations. Once we left the city, and headed back up to my aunt’s home, that’s when my mom sat my aunt down and told her the news. I wasn’t in the room when my mom broke it to her, but when she walked out I could see the hurt on my aunt’s face. She waited for “Joseph” to come over to confront him. He denied the allegations quick, but my aunt told him on that following Monday that she would like to get tested with him. That Monday came and they both went. About a week or so later she went to get her results. She wanted him to go, but he was nowhere to be found. She got her results and they were positive. She called him and he said he got his results and they were negative. She asked him if he had documentation to prove his claim and he said he threw it out. Yeah right! My aunt stopped messing with him after getting her results back, but that’s not what’s bothering me. My aunt started dating this older man and he takes good care of her and her daughter. He even threw me a few bucks here and there. My aunt likes to talk to me about her private life and she told me they are not intimate, but she hadn’t disclosed her status to him. About 3 months ago they called it quits and now my aunt is messing with another guy. This guy is fresh out of jail and they seem pretty cozy together. My aunt tells me they haven’t been intimate, mind you I don’t ask for any of this information, she just willingly tells me this stuff. I know it’s a lie though. She left her diary out one day and I just happened to read the latest entry. She talked about having unprotected sex with him. I cringed when I read that because he does not know she’s positive. I’ve been minding my business and not adding input about anything, but this is wrong on so many levels. I’m not going to say anything because it’s not my place to tell, but my auntie is wrong for that. I understand what her ex did to her is unforgivable, but she’s doing the same exact thing to others. Now, I doubt that she was honest about being intimate with the older guy, and on top of that the guy has cancer and is possibly HIV positive. I don’t want to say anything, but is there any insight you could give me? I don’t want to say anything, but is there any way I could talk to my aunt without her getting mad at me for snooping? I want to be real with my aunt and let her know what she’s doing is wrong, but at the same time these man are old enough to know that once they choose to have unprotected sex with someone there is a big risk factor involved. It’s none of my business that is why I’ve been so quiet about the whole situation, but I feel like since I know the truth, as crazy as it seems, it makes be somehow involved and guilty about knowing. – Protecting The Truth Dear Ms. Protecting The Truth , What your so-called ‘aunt,’ your mom’s friend, is doing is wrong. But, please don’t mistake your loyalty to her for protecting the truth. From the beginning this woman has been manipulative and deceptive. When she did your taxes she used your name and social security number to get utilities turned on in her name. That is unforgivable. I know you are to forgive folks, but you don’t forget. She is a con artist. No matter what, she will do whatever she can to get over on others, and now she is swindling men and not being honest about her HIV status. She is vile, disgusting, and trifling. Therefore, I don’t think you should be protecting her, or her status. She is playing a dangerous game with other people’s lives. She is putting other people at risk by not revealing her status, and one of those men will come back and do some serious harm to her once they find out what she’s doing. So, I recommend you step to your aunt, confront her, and tell her that she is wrong for what she is doing. You give her an option: Either she tells the men she’s been sleeping with about her status, or you will tell them. You let her know that you love her and appreciate her for allowing you to stay with her, but you can’t hide the truth from these men because it is wrong. They deserve to know what they are getting into, even if they decide to be intimate with her and have unprotected sex. Besides, she may be telling them she is not, and not saying anything at all. I also would recommend that you get your mother involved with this, and you and your mother confront her together. You need a support system, and someone whom your “aunt” may listen to. She may feel it’s none of your business and you should stay out of it. But, your mom seems to have a close relationship with her, and she’s already confronted her before when you and she learned that your “aunt’s” previous boyfriend was HIV positive. Your mom seems to have a great way of confronting and being honest with her friend. So, call on your mother to be a support system with you, and let her know that you would like to confront her together. Also, I know you are staying with her because you are in college, and it may be saving you money, but it’s time to move. You don’t need to be in that environment. It’s toxic. She’s already used you before without your knowledge, and she is doing it again. You know her secret, and she is bringing different men in and out of HER house, and she is expecting you not to say anything, but she keeps telling you all her business with these men. Therefore, she is making you complicit by revealing her intimate details of her life. You don’t need to be hearing her personal business, and you should politely tell her that you don’t feel comfortable having these type of conversations with her about her personal sex life. Especially knowing that she is HIV positive and she is not being honest with the men. So, remove yourself from this environment to avoid being obligated to keep her secret and from being complicit in her lies. Lastly, removing yourself will relieve you of the stress and aggravation of keeping her secret. You don’t need to be worrying about her, her choices, and who she’s sleeping with. You should be focused on school, enjoying yourself, and hanging out with your friends. Your life should not be wrapped up in some older woman’s sexual exploits. And, you don’t owe her anything, especially if she is playing a dangerous game with her HIV status and not telling these men. You let her know that you will no longer sit idly by and watch her destroy other people’s lives. You love her, and you appreciate her for everything she’s done for you, but her behavior is reckless, irresponsible, and dangerous. NY Woman Detained In Psych Ward After Insisting She Is Employed, Followed By Obama On Twitter A woman’s insistence that President Obama follows her on Twitter landed her in a Harlem psychiatric ward for a hellish week of forced injections, sedatives, and therapy sessions meant to convince her to verbally deny that she was gainfully employed at a Queens bank. Kam Brock of Long Island faced a frightening eight-day ordeal, beginning when she was pulled over while driving through Harlem in a BMW — an activity which NYPD officers seem to have found suspicious. Via NYDN : The bizarre experience began Sept. 12, when the NYPD seized her prized 2003 BMW 325Ci in Harlem because they suspected she was high on weed, her attorney, Michael Lamonsoff, said. Cops found no marijuana but confiscated her ride anyway, he said. The NYPD declined to comment. The following day, Brock walked into the NYPD’s Public Service Area 6 stationhouse in Harlem to retrieve her car, her suit charges. “Next thing you know, the police held onto me, the doctor stuck me with a needle and I was knocked out,” Brock said, tearing up. “I woke up to them taking off my underwear and then went out again. I woke up the next day in a hospital robe.” Lamonsoff said race may have been a factor in the way Brock was treated. “How would you act if you were being told you were crazy?” he said. However, that is exactly what officials insisted. They insisted that not only was she delusional about President Obama following her on Twitter, but they doubted that she held down a job of any sort. Among the hospital’s goals of “rehabilitating” Brock, official documents in her file read: “Objective: Patient will verbalize the importance of education for employment and will state that Obama is not following her on Twitter.” “Patient’s weaknesses: inability to test reality, unemployment.” For eight days, she attended group therapy, endured injections of sedatives, and took lorazepam and lithium, medical records show, according to Lamonsoff. When she was finally let go, the doctors didn’t tell her why she was being allowed to leave, Brock said. Brock is now suing the hospital to clear the $13,637.10 bill she received upon her release, and also requesting an unspecified amount of additional damages. However, by the hour’s end, she finally admitted, “I wasn’t jealous, I was just worried” and she’d been out with that woman herself… she was a total nut job. Maggie, meanwhile, dealt with the case of an Alzheimer’s’ patient. She grew pretty irate over it, to the point where Richard had to tell her that his late wife had the disease. And so did Maggie’s mother, Ellis. This depressing father/daughter bonding session ended with Maggie admitting she always knew she was predisposed to the illness. In other storylines: Jackson realized April isn’t fragile and allowed himself to have sex with her in a car. Owen and Amelia also kept trying to have sex, though work kept getting in the way. The fun Case of the Week centered on guest star Lena Dunham as an NC-17-rated gossip monger nicknamed “Kinky Sue,” who was ready and willing to dish on all of the city’s major sex secrets. Olivia, of course, would not stand for this, putting Sue in her place via a series of political machinations. But not before Sue actually inspired Liv to get her groove back, delivering a classic Shonda Rhimes monologue. “When did you become so weak?” she asked. “You and Ruth Bader Gisnburg were all we got…. you gave other women a contact high….. I thought you’d be brave, fearless and sexy, but you’re a dried-up prude.” Ouch. It hurt Olivia because it was so true. Abby, meanwhile, spelled out for Leo why this particular sex scandal would affect her far worse than him. She made her point especially clear by telling of how every story that has been written about her, despite all her accomplishments, starts and ends with him. Usually, when a celebrity does a Playboy pictorial, most of the press coverage is about the photos themselves. That’s not the case with Azealia Banks, whose most noteworthy body part will always be her mouth. We first learned that Azealia would pose nude for Playboy last month, when the outspoken rapper broke the news on Twitter. While the first photos have yet to be revealed, we get the feeling Banks’ comments in her interview will get more scrutiny than her photo spread (in which she reportedly bares all, BTW). In her most extensive Q&A to date, Banks opens up about everything from her feud with Iggy Azalea to her controversial views on race: On America: “I hate everything about this country. Like, I hate fat white Americans. All the people who are crunched into the middle of America, the real fat and meat of America, are these racist conservative white people who live on their farms.” On Race and Twitter: “It’s always about race. Lorde can run her mouth and talk sh-t about all these other bitches, but y’all aren’t saying she’s angry. If I have something to say, I get pushed into the corner..y’all mother–kers still owe me reparations! That’s why it’s still about race.” On Race and Music: “I get annoyed with the fact that I’m even asked to explain myself. Why do I have to explain this to y’all? Dear Bossip , I am 23 years old and my boyfriend is 11 years older than me. We have a great relationship, but there is a part of his life that really frustrates me. He has a child with another woman and although I knew this coming into the relationship I was not prepared for all the drama. I have never had to deal with a situation like this before so I do not know how to handle this situation. We constantly have disagreements when it comes to his child and his child’s mother. It is important to know that his child’s mother and I do not get along nor do we understand each other. In my opinion, we don’t understand each other because we come from two different worlds. I grew up in the suburbs and I have rarely been outside of my environment, whereas, she had grown up and still lives in the hood. I have recently graduated from college and she had two kids with two different baby fathers. She also does not work and has not worked for years. She just sits at home and collects checks from the government and child support. Anyway, the problem comes in when my boyfriend and I are discussing the behavior of his child and I try to explain my point of view as to why the child is behaving this way. In my opinion, his child is behaving in the manner that she does because she is mimicking her mother. When I express this to my boyfriend he gets really upset and defensive. His baby mother continues to call for her own personal problems and I do not understand why she is calling him for her personal problems. When I ask him why he keeps allowing her to do so he says he has to because it all contributes to the well-fair of his child. When we have to go to his family gatherings she is sometimes there for the sake of the child. When we are in the same room she would insert herself into conversations that my boyfriend and I are having with others and she comments on questions about him that are directed towards me. In the end there are a lot of things that goes into this situation. I just want to know how do I handle this situation so that my relationship can succeed. – Frustrated Dear Ms. Frustrated , Welp, you are the girlfriend. You are not his wife. His child with his baby momma will always be his child, and his baby momma will always be in his life. Therefore, your opinions, thoughts, or judgments are not warranted, needed, or desired. You don’t have a say in how he treats his child, how he interacts with his baby momma, and, nor should you be dictating to him about what his child is doing. You are a girlfriend. You can be replaced. You say you’ve never been in this situation and you don’t know how to handle it…..well, for starters you’re a girlfriend. You’re not the child’s mother, and, therefore your opinion and thoughts are mute. Why are you dictating to him about his child with another woman, and you’re his girlfriend? Stay in your lane, boo boo. You should not be discussing with him anything related to his child. Let him handle his child, raise his child with his child’s mother, and you sit back and be the girlfriend. That’s how you handle the situation. Besides, he’s 11 years older than you and you’re a young college-educated woman. Why are you wrapped up in someone with baby momma drama anyway? You don’t have any children, so why are you trying to co-parent, or offer parenting advice to him and his situation? You should be hanging out and having fun and enjoying yourself with your own friends and not worried about some man’s baby momma, and how they are raising their child. I don’t understand the fascination and the adoration you young women have with older men who have children and are dealing with baby mommas. Then, you get upset because he is giving his time and attention to his child and have to deal with his baby momma who is always around and a part of his life. Well, they did produce a child together. They have a history, and as long as they have a child, they will always be involved with each other. She will always be at the family gatherings and functions because of the child. She will always feel she has one over on you because of the child. She will always feel she can say and do whatever because she has his child. So, stay in your lane, don’t get mad and stop worrying about her and their child. This is what you are signing up for when you date a man with a baby momma. UGH! Why take this on when you don’t necessarily have to? Why get invested in this situation? What is the benefit? You’re so busy focusing on her and why she lives in the hood, collects a government check, and acts ratchet, but you’re stooping down to her level? You’re allowing her to get under your skin and bother you, and you’re the one who has her panties in a bunch. Why do you care so much about her lifestyle? Why are you pitting yourself over her and trying to make yourself better than her? You both are, or have, been with the same man. Thus, what does that say about you? And, why are you offering your opinion to him about his child? Why are you discussing his child with him, and what his child’s behavior should be? That is not your place. You are a girlfriend. Keep your thoughts, opinions, and judgments to yourself. Leave the parenting to him and his baby momma. That is their child. You’re young. You have a life ahead of you and you should be focused on building your career. Why are you stressing over some woman you don’t know? Why are you getting wrapped in some man that you probably won’t be with in another year or two? He’s 11 years older than you, and I seriously doubt you will marry him, or this relationship will go any further considering he has a child with another woman and you sooooooo disapprove of her lifestyle and her lifestyle choices. If he laid down with her while she was in the hood, collecting checks, and being ratchet, then I seriously doubt he will get married at 34 years of age, and want to be tied down and having another family. He’s caught up in child support payments, and it sounds as if the child is young. So, he’s not ready to commit or take on another financial responsibility. He can’t handle it. You either stay, be quiet about his child and his relationship with his baby momma, or you leave and find a man who doesn’t have any children or baby momma drama. If you stay, then know she will always be around. She will be at the family gatherings and events. She will always call with problems and issues. She will always find some reason to get to him and to get under your skin. And, it will get worse, and she will continue to find ways to get under your skin. You can save yourself the aggravation, drama, and stress and end it, and move on.
