Baby Bumpin’ Or Nah? Kerry Washington Steps Out In NYC Still Looking Like She’s Toting A Little Tot-To-Be

Does Kerry Washington Have A Baby Bump? ‘Scandal’ leading lady and resident Hollywood banger Kerry Washington has had the rumor mill swirling with talk that she’s about to become a mother sometime within the next 6 months ever since last month’s Emmy Awards. Although Kerry has remained mum on the pregnancy rumors, her loose-fitting outfit choices have continued to fuel the fire for the last month, even up until yesterday, when she stopped to pose for the paps in this black & white dress (pictured above) before heading in for an appearance on “The Daily Show.” Also considering that Olivia Kerry suddenly announced that she’d gotten married out of no where less than 4 months ago and the fact that she’s normally one of the most slimmy-trimmy women in Hollyweird, all signs seem to point to mommy-hood in the very near future. Do you think Kerry is hiding a lil gladiator in waiting? Take a look at a few more of her outfit choices…and noticeable “mommy glow” from the last 2 months and decide for yourself.

A Lil Positivity: NAACP Rallies Outside Of Chuck E. Cheese On Behalf Of Special Needs Child Whose Father Says She Was Treated Inappropriately

NAACP Rallies At Chuck E. Cheese On Behalf Of Special Needs Child via Atlanta Journal-Constitution Special needs parents joined a group of civil rights activists outside a Chuck E. Cheese in Smyrna this weekend. The NAACP organized the rally after a father claimed he and his 9-year-old special needs daughter were mistreated by employees when he tried to take her to the restroom back in May. Mark Eschoe said his daughter, Marley, was excited to attend a friend’s party at the restaurant located at Cumberland Boulevard. She had just gotten out of the hospital after suffering two strokes within six months, caused by brain aneurisms. “We were there for about 20 minutes when she finally said, ‘Hey Daddy, I have to go to the bathroom,’” Eschoe said. Eschoe said the men’s room was full, but a waitress told him the women’s room was empty. He said as he started to take Marley into the women’s room, a manager stepped in, became agitated and said, “No.” “She just went, ‘You know what? I’m done. I’m not going to inconvenience my patrons. I don’t care if she’s special needs. I’m not going to treat her any differently,’” Eschoe said. Eschoe and his wife, who was not there, said not providing an alternative for their daughter, violates the American’s with Disabilities Act. Great to see the NAACP taking a stand on behalf of this precious little girl. Do you agree that they should have let the father take her to the women’s restroom?

Dear Bossip: 3 Years Ago I Didn’t Accept His Proposal Because He Wasn’t Saved, But I Realize I Made A Mistake

Dear Bossip , I need advice. I broke up with my child’s father 3 years ago. He proposed, but I turned him down because he wasn’t saved, and he is in the music industry. I also kicked him out the apartment. He still resents me. He says that I’ve betrayed him. I also put him through a lot during our relationship. I now realize that he is a good man, and I made a terrible mistake. He is now dating, and he has revealed to me that he has been seeing someone for two years and he loves her. I really want my family back. How can I get him back? – Wanting Him Back Dear Ms. Wanting Him Back , So, you broke up with him and turned down his marriage proposal because he wasn’t saved, and is in the music industry. Now, two years later, he is seeing someone else, and he told you that he loves her, but you want him because you feel you made a terrible mistake. I’m sorry, but am I missing something. What happened? Are you that miserable and alone that you’re considering going backwards instead of moving forward? But, let’s be real and ask the serious question, why do you really want him back? That is the tee-hee-hee-hee-hee! Do you want him back because he is happily involved with someone else, and is in love with another woman? You see how happy he is, and how loving he is with another woman, and because you didn’t realize it or see it when he was with you all of a sudden you have this epiphany that you want to be a family with him? Chile, miss me. Misery loves company. He’s happy and in love, and you want what he has. Why can’t you just be happy for him? I’m sure if you were to have a new man, someone who loved you, and you were in love he would be happy for you. You broke up with him for a reason. You left him for a reason. And, you explicitly stated it’s because he is not saved, and he is in the music industry. That hasn’t changed. He still is not saved, and he is still involved with the music industry. Why do you want him back? Really? But, ma’am, isn’t it contradictory for you to be talking about him not being saved, yet, you were having sexual relations with a man before marriage? And, you produced a child. Huh? So, I take it that you’re saved, yet, you were laying up with him, and spreading your legs wide for him.  You weren’t thinking about your morals and values while he was laying the pipe.  But, you want to point fingers at him for not being saved. I love it! But, I get it. You have remorse and regret. You hate that you turned down the proposal, and after a few years of thinking, dating other guys, and you haven’t met someone and fell in love, you want what’s familiar. So, now you’re alone and you realize you should have accepted the proposal, worked on the relationship, and become the family you desired. You’re rehashing what happened, what went wrong, and how can you fix it. Ma’am, this is something you can’t fix. When you’re emotionally, mentally, and spiritually broken, then it requires working on yourself. Building who you are, and reconnecting to the source of spiritual nourishment. If he is not spiritually connected, or not saved, then you can’t make him saved. You can’t make him spiritually whole. That is something he has to do on his own, and be willing to do. If that is not what he desires or wants, then why do you want to go back to that? How will that fulfill you, or be nourishing to you. And, let’s think about this: What makes you think he wants to be with you? You put him out. You said you put him through a lot during your relationship. If your relationship was filled with drama, stress, and both of you were unhappy, then why go back for a repeat of this? You folks won’t leave well enough alone. You crave drama. You need it to survive and live. If you don’t have drama in your lives, and relationships then you feel incomplete. Also, why do you want to be with someone who resents you, and feels betrayed by you? Does that make any type of sense? Trying to get him back will only bring back the resentment and betrayal he feels. He will bring that back into the relationship with you. Girl, let him go and move on. If you feel you made a mistake, but the relationship was not what you wanted, and he was not the man you desired or needed, then just realize it for what it was, learn from it, and move on with your life. He is happily involved with someone else, and in love. Why interrupt his happiness, and what he has going for him because you feel you made a mistake. People, people, people if you don’t know anything else, please know that you learn from mistakes. You grow from them. You take the experience and become better. And, you try not to make the same mistake again. You don’t keep repeating them. Doing the same thing over and over again but expecting a different result or outcome is called crazy. Leave well enough, be happy that he is happy, and work on your relationship with him as a father and co-parent to your child. There is a reason why he is an ex, and a reason why you ended the relationship. Why repeat the past? Life is about moving forward, growing, and learning. Continue to work on you, build yourself, stay connected to your spiritual source, and continue to grow emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Stay firm in your beliefs and desires. Your man will come along, and you will connect with someone who has the same vision, dreams, and hopes that you do. – Terrance Dean Hey Bossip Fam, what do you think? Duck Dynasty Cast Plans Three More Books, Continues to Rule TV

The Duck Dynasty dynasty shows no signs of slowing down. Having achieved record ratings through three-plus seasons on A&E, the Robertson family has branched out into many successful side ventures as well. Books, perhaps most notably. Howard Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, announced three more tie-in works to the smash reality show in 2014. Five books penned by the Robertson family already are out, including such top sellers as Happy, Happy, Happy and The Duck Commander Family . Scheduled for next year are Faith in the Duck Blind , an ode to the family’s strong Christian values, The Women of Duck Commander and Phil-Osophy. Duck Dynasty series first aired in 2012. Set in North Louisiana, it follows two brothers, their wives, their dad and their uncle who manufacture duck calls. Well, when they actually work, which is seldom. It’s hilarious.

R.I.P: NY High School Football Team Ends Season Early After Teammate Dies From Helmet-To-Helmet Hit

High School Football Team Ends Season Early After Teammate Dies From Game Injury A group of high school football players made the difficult decision to end their season recently after a fellow teammate died following an injury he sustained during their last game via NBC News It was a question with no right answer that tugged heavy at the hearts of Damon Janes’ teammates when the 16-year-old died after a hit in a high school football game: Should the season go on? Should the players rally and play every game for their star running back, whose motto was “Giving up is simply not an option”? Or should the teenagers forget about football and take time to mourn their friend? The Westfield-Brocton Wolverines’ varsity players took a paper-ballot vote and decided that the pain was too great, that their season would end after just two games. “I wanted to play, I love the game,” said teammate Stevie Wisecarver III, a 16-year-old quarterback who has played football since third grade. “But it just wouldn’t feel right without him. The team just didn’t feel right.” “It’s just a tragic thing that happened,” 71-year-old Harold Montague said as he finished his coffee at the Green Arch, recalling a procession for Damon’s funeral that stretched for more than a mile and a half. Damon took what hospital officials would later describe as a “helmet-to-helmet” hit during the third quarter of Westfield-Brocton’s Sept. 13 game against Portville. He was able to get on his feet but lost consciousness on the sidelines. He died three days later at Women & Children’s Hospital in Buffalo. An exact cause of death has not been released. This is a sad story. It may be time for high school football programs to start amending some of their rules to mimic that of the NFL.

Matrimony-dom: Gwyneth “The Most Beautiful” Paltrow Says She Would Forgive Her Hubby If He Was Caught Creepin’

Gwyneth Paltrow keeps trying to fool folks into thinking she’s all nice and forgiving and stuff… She recently did an interview with Refinery29 while promoting her new movie Thanks For Sharing , which all about her being in a relationship with a man (played by Mark Ruffalo) who has a sex addiction. Check out some excerpts that delve into how Gwyn would deal with a cheating hubby or someone with sex addiction: Speaking to the movie, do you think you could you stay in a relationship with a sex addict? “I’m an extremely open-minded person, so I think if it was something I knew I was getting myself into, I wouldn’t let it deter me from exploring the relationship.” What about the majority of women? How do you think other women might handle it? “I think it would be hard for me to be one of those wives who finds out there’s been something going on behind my back twenty years in. I’d imagine you’d begin to question your life. It would definitely make things harder, but I believe that if there’s authenticity and honesty right off the bat, things will be okay.” Cheating and sex addiction are similar, but still very different. Could you stay with someone who cheated? “I think that if the idea of being committed to someone is important to you, you begin to value certain parts of your social life over another. No couple is the same, and as such, every couple takes on different challenges. I would like to think that I would be forgiving and/or forgiven, but I can’t give an honest answer as I haven’t really experienced that.” Do you believe her?? How would you answer these questions if you were faced with them? AKM-GSI Continue reading

Army Wives Canceled, Lifetime Announces Two-Hour Retrospective for 2014

Lifetime has pulled the plug on its longest-running series. The network announced today that Army Wives will not return with new episodes, canceling the drama after seven very successful seasons. A 120-minute retrospective will air some time in 2014. Said Rob Sharenow, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Lifetime, via statement: “There is no denying how special Army Wives has been to both Lifetime and the television landscape.  By taking on a very relevant and timely issue, it has brilliantly captured the challenges our military families endure and the bravery they and their loved ones display while serving our country. “It has been an honor to be the home of Army Wives.  We also want to thank Army Wives’ passionate legion of fans and everyone involved with the series: ABC Studios, Mark Gordon and Jeff Melvoin, Tanya Biank, every single cast member, as well as the crew and community of Charleston, South Carolina.  Without their dedication, effort and loyalty, Army Wives’ seven wonderful seasons would not have been possible; and for that we are very grateful.” The series received many accolades, during its run, including a pair of Gracie Awards from the Alliance for Women in Media, a Sentinel for Health Award from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism’s Norman Lear Center, as well as an NAACP Image Award, NAMIC Award and Prism Award nominations.
