Drake is solely to blame for inflaming the violent NYC club melee that injured innocent people, according to model Vladimira Brace, one of those allegedly hurt. Brace claims she suffered a spinal injury when she was trampled in the mob scene that ensued inside the now- shut down W.i.P. nightclub in Manhattan. Brace’s attorney has threatened him with a lawsuit , writing Drake’s reps that point blank, “Your client instigated a brawl with Mr. Chris Brown” on June 13. “[Drake’s] actions were negligent in inflaming a violent mob,” the letter adds. “My client personally observed several members of [Drake’s] entourage throwing bottles of champagne with reckless and criminal disregard.” The attorney also cites Drake’s “well documented history of vulgar, abusive and profane remarks concerning women,” which his camp denies. People close to the Canadian rapper claim that he didn’t instigate anything, and was there with a couple of security guys and that’s it. No entourage. They say both Chris Brown and Meek Mill were with large posses, but not Drake. As for D’s alleged abuse of women, they find that claim absurd for two reasons: It’s not true. Chris Brown. At least three other women – and NBA star Tony Parker and Chris’ bodyguard Big Pat – have also claimed they were injured in the Chris Brown-Drake fight . Your side:

Finally ladies have some official fan gear that isn’t pink! NBA Licenses Custom-Made High Heels For Women The men of the NBA have never shied away from making fashion statements. There have been Daisy Duke-style shorts, shants (the baggy hybrid of shorts and pants), Pat Riley Armani suits, Air Jordans, Dennis Rodman tattoos, piercings, and hair dyes, and Allen Iverson sideways caps and corn rows. This season the Urkel-meets-Brooklyn-hipster costume is making headlines, best exemplified by the colorful wire framed glasses sans lenses worn by the Miami Heat’s Dwayne Wade and LeBron James, and the big boy fishy, teddy bear and umbrella-themed polo shirts worn by the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook. But the latest trend the NBA is hoping to bank on is a new offering for its female fans: high heels. Yesterday the league announced its license agreement with Orlando-based shoe designer Herstar for a line of heels that includes two designs available for all 30 teams. One is a 6-inch crystal beaded version currently retailing for $275, the other a 4-inch microsuede version retailing for $99. Yes, 6-inch and 4-inch heels. The founder and CEO of Herstar, Holly Joffrion, can explain. Frustrated when nothing came of her online search for a pair of sport high heels to wear to an Orlando Magic game she was attending with her husband, the shoe designer had the vision of making her own team-themed pair. She worked on some prototype images with various teams’ logos and then last September the 25-year old posted a few on her website to gauge fan interest. Within three days, without any marketing or promotion, while the league was on the verge of its lockout, she found she was not the only one searching for such shoes. She had over 100 requests for her prototypes. Fortunately Joffrion already had her manufacturer and distributor lined up, as she had already been in the shoe business for five years. But the next hurdle was the NBA license agreement application. Without it she was unable to make or sell the shoes. So for three months she and her husband, who has a background in finance, hustled to get the paperwork done. By the time she presented her application to the NBA in February, Herstar’s back orders were in the hundreds, still without the company engaging in any marketing or advertising, outside of Facebook and Pinterest postings. It was more than enough to make up for the lack of 3-year sales figures the league requested on the merchandise. Additionally, by that point Joffrion had been so overwhelmed by requests for something higher than the 3-inch pair she had online, that she first added the 4-inch heels to the mix and later when asked for even higher, offered the 6-inch version. (For the record, Herstar will customize to lower lengths.) Yesterday after the NBA’s press release, Herstar’s sales jumped 400 percent on daily volume; traffic for the company’s website, where the shoes are primarily sold, jumped from a typical 4,000 daily hits to 35,000 hits. In total the company has sold enough pairs of heels to cover the initial $30,000 upfront license fee the NBA required and is already profitable. Current customers include the Orlando Magic’s Dwight Howard and Daniel Orton, while the top three sales markets are the San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. This lady is about to get PAID! Vicky Picca, the NBA’s senior vice president of licensing and business affairs, said the league and more importantly its 25 million female NBA fans in the US couldn’t be happier. “Our female business has tripled over the last 5 years and what our fans were saying is that they no longer wanted a pink version of a male product,” said Picca. “This appeals to our savvy female consumer.” Ladies, would you rock a pair of these hoops heels? Octomom Nadya Suleman is getting ready to throw it down in the Celebrity Pillow Fighting Championships … which is apparently an actual thing. Despite the fact that Octomom’s porn star career is in full swing, she’s still trying to make more cash money starting June 23 in Broomall, Pa. On the same card with the “Pillow Fighting Championships,” to be exact. Nadya will be fighting Shila, co-host of Philadelphia radio’s “Chio, Shila & Tingle in the Morning,” who says she is excited to fight Octomom. The public “fight” between the women involves three one-minute rounds. Nadya is the favorite, with a 5-0 record in celebrity boxing and 1-0 in pillow fights. Shila, on the other hand, will be stepping into the ring for the first time. “I’m not sure who the girl is I’m pillow-fighting with, but I heard she has never been in the ring before,” Nadya Suleman told the Huffington Post . “I’ve done this several times, and I will remain undefeated!” Except by life. She’s getting pummeled in that arena. [Photo: WENN.com]

A swarm of celebs including cast members turned out Monday night for the New York premiere of Jane Fonda and Catherine Keener starrer, Peace, Love & Misunderstanding at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). The event, which benefited The Women’s Media Center, held its post-screening bash at the Royalton Hotel in Midtown. The party didn’t take a cue from the film’s hippie-vibe, but who needs bohemian when there’s champagne and sliders to guzzle! Along with Fonda and Keener, fellow cast members Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chace Crawford, NatWolff, Marissa O’Donnell and Maddie Corman joined in for the party hosted by Forevermark and The Wall Street Journal. Directed by Driving Miss Daisy director Bruce Beresford, the film, which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last fall (followed by a U.S. debut at the Woodstock Film Festival – natch!) follows Manhattan lawyer Diane (Keener) who drives her teenage son Jake (Nat Wolff) and adult daughter Zoe (Elizabeth Olsen) to visit their Woodstock-bound hippie grandmother Grace (Fonda), who the kids have never met. Grace stages protests, smokes and sells dope, but their weekend getaway morphs into a summer adventure of romance, music and more. “It was amazing to have such veteran actors like Jane Fonda and Catherine Keener working alongside newcomers [at the time] Nat Wolff and Elizabeth Olsen,” Peace producer Claude Dal Farra told ML. “This was actually the first movie-set for Elizabeth and Nat.” Others at the party Monday included Robin Morgan, GloriaSteinem, Carol Alt, Ashleigh Banfield, Joshua Bell, Jewelle Bickford, Sandy Brant, Julie Burton, Ron Claiborne, Jamie Colby, Alan Cox ( The Dictator ), Rebecca Dayan ( Celeste & Jesse Forever ), Aleksa Palladino ( Boardwalk Empire ), Savanna Wise ( Smash ) and Casper Zafer ( The Vampire Diaries ). IFC Films will open Peace, Love & Misunderstanding beginning this Friday. [Photo credit: Amanda Schwab/Starpix]

National pride? Disgrace? Somewhere in the middle? A photo of two servicewomen breastfeeding their children while in uniform has gone viral and added a new layer to the ongoing debate over nursing in public. It’s probably safe to say the Time Magazine breastfeeding cover went over quite well with Mom2Mom, a breastfeeding support group for military mothers. In a series of tasteful professional photos showing beaming moms nursing kids, one jumps out for obvious reasons: the photo of two servicewomen below … “A lot of people are saying it’s a disgrace to the uniform. They’re comparing it to urinating and defecating [while in uniform],” says Crystal Scott, a military spouse living at Fairchild AFB outside Spokane, Wash., who started Mom2Mom in January. “It’s extremely upsetting. Defecating in public is illegal. Breastfeeding is not.” It was Scott’s idea to ask photographer Brynja Sigurdardottir to take the photos and create posters for National Breastfeeding Awareness Month in August. One of the moms photographed in uniform, Terran Echegoyen-McCabe, breastfeeds her 10-month-old twin girls on her lunch breaks during drill weekends. “I have breast-fed in our lobby, in my car, in the park … and I pump, usually in the locker room,” says the proud member of the Air National Guard.” “I’m proud to be wearing a uniform while breastfeeding. I hope [the photo] encourages other women to know they can, whether they’re active duty, guard or civilian.” She said she’s surprised by the reaction to the photos, which also feature her friend Christina Luna, because it never occurred to her it would cause a stir. “There isn’t a policy saying we can or cannot breastfeed in uniform,” Echegoyen-McCabe says. “I think we do need to be able to breastfeed in uniform and be protected.” What do you think? Should they be allowed to?
