Source: DjelicS / Getty Growing up, we’re made to believe that perfectionism is something positive. We’re unconsciously taught that being first, never making a mistake, appearing flawless and constantly winning in every facet of life is what’ll get us the best job, the highest salary, a successful friend group, thousands of likes and followers on Instagram, the envy of our peers and the most perfect life ever. Sure, our teachers, parents and coaches probably told us “winning isn’t everything” to make us feel better after some devastating defeat we experienced in adolescence, but since then, literally everything in society seems to contradict their words, assuring us that there’s no way that statement can actually be true. Whether it’s in sports, politics or the work place; whoever the perfect team, candidate or employee is will be rewarded while the rest are left to sulk in their self-identified imperfections. It’s no surprise that seeing this happen repeatedly would lead us to believe that winning is everything, and being perfect is the only thing that opens the door to the success we so desperately seek. So, what exactly is perfectionism? Psychologists define this mindset as “an irrational desire to achieve along with being overly critical of oneself and others” and in our socially connected society, perfectionism has become more than just a mindset, it’s now a way of life. We’ve somehow allowed ourselves to believe that we are defined by what we are, or rather how “perfect” we are when in actuality, that dangerous thought process is holding us back more than it is propelling us forward. The problem with a mindset fixated on perfectionism is that… it simply doesn’t exist. Instead, perfectionism is the ultimate self-sabotage. It’s based on moving through life attempting to avoid mistakes, even when those mistakes are necessary to help us grow, learn, develop confidence and actually achieve the level of success we desire. If you struggle with perfectionism, you’re not alone. A 2017 study found that there has been a 33% rise in socially prescribed perfectionism since 1989, with this generation in particular struggling to keep up with a culture that makes us feel depressed if we’re not on track to becoming the next Kylie Jenner. However, with this rise of perfectionism comes a rise in productive ways to combat this mindset as the conversation around mental health has shifted from one that’s taboo to one that’s open, accepting and understanding. Yes, having ambition and determination to succeed is healthy. But the idea of perfectionism, the fear of making mistakes and listening to the inner voice that leads you to believe that you’re nothing unless you’re winning is what can lead to depression, anxiety and other mental health problems that take us down a path of constant self-criticism, fear and worry that we’re not measuring up to whatever society’s idea of perfect is. Psychologists suggest reversing this unhealthy idea of perfectionism with mental health exercises that’ll help you develop a more realistic view of yourself and your successes. Understand that being perfect isn’t what leads to social acceptance, but rather being your true, authentic and relatable self does. Mistakes are inevitable. They will happen. And the best thing you can do for yourself is to accept them, learn from them and move on to become the person you’re meant to be. To be clear, letting go of the idea of perfectionism doesn’t mean that you give up on your desire to do well. Instead, this means giving up on the inner voice that tells you that you cannot make a mistake, and if you do, you’ll lose everything. Learning to let go of the idea of perfectionism and replacing it with the mantra of “your best is good enough” might sound intimidating at first, but doing so will free your mind from bondage. Rather than letting social expectations tell you what perfection is, strive for a life defined by learning experiences, deep personal connections, and self-assurance that you are enough. The embattled golfer won the Masters yesterday in historic fashion and to say that the golf world is excited is gross understatement. After Tiger Woods won his first Masters in 1997, he embraced his father, Earl. 22 years later after winning his 5th Masters, he got to share that same moment with his own son, Charlie. pic.twitter.com/BqH1AyvM6A — ESPN (@espn) April 15, 2019 Tiger’s fifteenth major win and fifth Masters win also earned him a historic paycheck according to CNBC , $2.07 million, the most ever collected by a Masters winner. That $2.07 million ain’t s#!t compared to what he’s going to make (for himself and affiliated corporations) in the coming future as a result of this victory that many sports pundits NEVER thought would happen. Source: aiqingwang / Getty The Women Try To Escape Highway Patrol After Getting Caught Washing At A Rest Stop Things went from zero to sixty when three naked women were caught by Highway Patrol in Florida. According to the Tampa Bay Times , in Pasco County, the three women were spotted at the northbound Interstate 75 rest stop area. The arrest reports state that a rest stop custodian called the Highway Patrol once they spotted the women, saying he saw them “in the nude, putting on suntan lotion.” Once the trooper arrived, she saw the naked women in the rest stop parking lot and they immediately started putting on their clothes. Eighteen-year-old Oasis Shakira McLeod told the trooper that they were “air drying” after washing up, and the trooper peeped that they had a case of water and a bottle of soap. The other two women were identified as Jeniyah McLeod and Cecilia Eunique Young, both 19. Oasis said they had left Cecila’s father’s house after an altercation and spent the night in the rest stop because they didn’t have anywhere else to go. The women provided their names and dates of birth, but they went against the trooper’s commands to stay put. “We need you to leave,” Jeniyah McLeod said. “We need you to walk away. Leave, leave, leave.” She then told the trooper that they were going to walk away, and the trooper told them to stop. “No we’re not,” one of them reportedly said, then all three of them ran around the trooper and jumped into a white 2009 Nissan Sentra with a New York state license plate. Oasis was at the driver’s seat as the car sped off, causing a pedestrian to jump out of the road as they sped away. While on the northbound Interstate 75, the trooper started speeding after them but her superiors called her off because the situation didn’t meet Highway Patrol’s pursuit policy. A driver on I-75 called 911 and followed the Nissan to S.R. 52 in San Antonio Florida. That’s when another trooper found the Nissan, reported seeing it drive the wrong way and began heading east on S.R. 52. A trooper managed to shoot a GPS tracker onto the driving Nissan, which officials said allowed them to back off the pursuit. Highway Patrol dispatchers in Tampa began tracking the car and radioing its position to troopers. Things got even MORE intense when the Nissan pulled into a gas station and Cecilia Young reportedly jumped out of the back seat and ran inside. Two troopers jumped out their cruiser and demanded the Nissan stop, but of course, it drove off. One trooper drove after it while the other trooper pursued Young. They got in an intense tussle, with Young kicking, scratching and hitting, according to the trooper. As soon as he got her on the ground, he said he peeped the Nissan coming after him. Thus, he jumped out the way, and that’s when he said Jeniya hopped out the car and threatened him with a pink and purple metal bat. Seeing a fellow trooper in danger, the other trooper in the cruiser decided to ram the Nissan in the back. The women then all got in and drove off again. They drove east on S.R. 52, but ran over a tire-deflation device placed on the road by Dade City police officers, which put out their right-side tires. The epic chase finally came to an end when the Nissan entered an active school zone outside Pasco High School while students were crossing S.R. 52, according to troopers. One of the pursuing troopers was authorized to execute the “PIT maneuver” — Pursuit Intervention Technique — which caused him to use the front end of his cruiser to knock the Nissan off the road at S.R. 52 and Old San Ann Road. The women weren’t trying to give up though. They refused to leave the Nissan and instead, they locked arms, according to a trooper. A trooper then used a Taser to stun one of them, and the driver, Oasis McLeod, surrendered. The women all invoked their rights to not talk to the troopers. Oasis McLeod agreed to perform field sobriety exercises, according to troopers, and she seemed to be impaired. Troopers eventually found marijuana in the vehicle and Jeniyah McLeod said it was hers, and she got it from “a white guy named Bubba.” The three ladies were arrested at 11 a.m. and taken to AdventHealth Dade City hospital to be checked out. They were then booked into the Pasco County jail. It should be noted that Pasco, has been named the nudist capital of the world, however arrests reports indicate the women were not linked to any nudist or clothing-optional communities. According to jail records, Oasis McLeod of Kingston, N.Y. faces felony charges of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, aggravated resisting an officer with violence, fleeing and eluding and possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana. She also faces misdemeanor charges of DUI crash involving property damage, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer without violence and indecent exposure. She is reportedly being held in lieu of $57,000 bail. Cecilia Young of Lutz, Florida faces felony charges of aggravated resisting an officer with violence and misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure (two counts), possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting an officer without violence. She is currently being held in lieu of $27,000 bail. Lastly, Jeniyah McLeod of Lutz faces felony charges of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and aggravated resisting arrest with violence. Her misdemeanor charges include possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, indecent exposure and resisting an officer without violence. She is currently being held in lieu of $18,000 bail.

Amber Heard is a garbage opportunist slut that we can all agree should be the figurehead or leader of the BELIEVE ALL WOMEN hashtag – to remind everyone that there are bad people out there – they come in both genders – and they can have no soul, can destroy people who get in their way, all while they try to climb over them or plow through them to get to where they want to go….psychopaths can be women….and delusions can happen to women…more so if they are on Birth Control…or on their period… So when someone vowed to be loyal to her partner releases a recording of her partner being abusive after she framed him to be abusive…especially when her partner is the most famous actor she knows will be rattled or destroyed by the move…no matter how mad the person is…that level of vindictiveness is the kind that screams “SHITTY FUCKING PERSON”… Amber Heard, who likes showing off her tits, like she used to like showing off that she is bisexual when Johnny Depp first met her, before she was famous, wile trying to be famous….is a Shitty fucking person.
