The singer donned two looks, one all-black and the other white, for her rousing appearance. While her runway appearance was certainly headline-making, it was the fact that Gaga previewed part of a Born This Way song for the fashionistas that was even more noteworthy. The dance track, “Government Hooker,” was the latest song Gaga has teased fans with from her May release. It featured a thumping beat, operatic vocals and a trance-y vibe. On it, she sings sexy lines like, “I can be anything/ I’ll be your everything/ Just touch me, baby.” The massive club track features Gaga’s full voice sharing requests like, “Put your hands on me.” On the track about desire, she sings, “I’m gonna drink my tears tonight/ I’m gonna drink my tears and cry/ ‘Cause I know you love me, baby.” During the show, she also played “Schei

By Jayson Rodriguez Jagged Edge Photo: MTV News Celebrity Favorites: Jagged Edge The four-man collective Jagged Edge are readying their next album, The Remedy, due later this month and featuring the standout cuts “Baby” and “Lay You Down.” It’s the veteran group’s seventh album, following the release of projects like J.E. Heartbreak and Jagged Little Thrill. And while J.E. are focused on the future — The Remedy is their second album released through their 581 Music imprint and first recorded under contract with Slip-N-Slide Records — here, they take a look back at their catalog and talk about some of their favorite tracks. Kyle Norman : “One of my favorite songs would be ‘Let’s Get Married.’ And it’s really written, of course, if you have any heart and soul you want to get married one day. And I heard it’s like one of the number-one wedding songs of all time, behind ‘Ribbon in the Sky.’ So for us to have a song like that being mentioned among the other great wedding songs, that means a lot. We were 19, 20 making that.” Brian Casey : “For me, I’d have to say it was our very first hit record, ‘Gotta Be.’ All of the above, it touched me at certain times in my life and what it has meant to my life. It was our first legitimate hit record. Your first hit record is so jarring, ’cause you go from nothing to something like that. And that song represents a lot for me.” Brandon Casey : “We all come from two-parent households, and we know we’re the rarity; most of our friends don’t. So, for me, it’s a song called ‘Nothing Without You.’ My dad always wrote poetry, and as much credit as my mom gets for our voice, because she sings, my dad doesn’t get much credit for our writing ability and, at least, our attempt to be poetic. So that song, my brother made mention to my dad, and every time I hear it, it just make me think of my dad.” Wingo : “The song ‘Respect’ came about because I had a friend, she was going through something crazy with one of her ex-boyfriends. He used to put his hands on her. She came by the studio, and the guys saw her one day after an episode. And we was like, ‘Let’s do a song about respect, guys keeping his hands off a woman.’ Women are God’s gift to man, it’s like dropping diamonds on the ground; you supposed to take care of them. I love a pair of high, sexy stilettos with a beautiful dress. Never be predictabe. Mix it up. Surprise him. Change your hair. Be the woman he knows with a little bit of a twist.You can be beautiful but if you’re not secure in yourself, you don’t come across as sexy.” On her guilty pleasure: “I love my butter pecan ice cream, but I also love to work out. We all have our issues. Mine is arms and legs, keeping them tight and toned. It takes work, believe me.” On whether she’ll start a family: “Yes, I do want to embrace what happens next and family. It’s funny how your outlook changes as you get older, how you look at life – at other women – in a different way. I have so much admiration for women who are mothers, who balance family and work.” What she did on her break: I did all these things I wanted to do that I don’t have time for. I set up a production company, learnt how to edit, did a bit of recording and directed a Dvd. What was great was having this normal life of sleeping, getting up, going to an office and then coming home. Coming home is a wonderful thing…I even did some cooking, although I didn’t really enjoy that. I’m not the greatest cook – I can do good things with oxtail, though. Gaga will also walk in the Mugler show in Paris on Wednesday as latest Born This Way track premieres. That’s probably why they are always collaborating. Formichetti is Gaga’s stylist, and Gaga has been acting as musical director for Mugler’s fashion shows. On Wednesday, Formichetti will debut his women’s wear collection in Paris, and Gaga will debut a new song . She also revealed on Twitter she will be walking in the show. “I’m making my debut as a runway model, walking in the MUGLER PARIS FASHIONSHOW 3/2,” she shared, revealing what song she was set to debut at the show. “I directed the show music, previewing Government Hooker.” For those hoping to catch the appearance and the song, the show will stream live at 3 p.m. ET. The company that approved and put up ThatsAbortion.com’s SoHo billboard has decided to avoid more controversy by pulling the billboard down. We’re just not so sure they did it because they got why people were upset. Lamar Advertising has pulled down a controversial anti-abortion billboard that hung over a building in SoHo, the company confirmed to MyFoxNY.com. The ad read “The most dangerous place for an African American is in the womb”and featured a photo of a young African-American girl behind the text and a link to a website for a group called Life Always . The girl seen in the photo is Anissa Fraser, 6. On Wednesday, her mother, Tricia Fraser, said she was shocked that her daughter’s image was used in the billboard “I would never endorse something like that,” Fraser said Wednesday. “Especially with my child’s image.” Fraser wanted the group to pull the ad. Two years ago, Fraser brought her four children to a modeling agency to be photographed. She acknowledged signing a release form that allowed the photos to be sold as stock images. But she said she never thought her daughter would become the face of a pro-life campaign focusing on African Americans. The activist Rev. Al Sharpton cancelled a Friday news conference that he had planned at the billboard to protest its message. “The billboard was offensive, especially during Black History Month,” Sharpton said in a statement Thursday. The Women of Color Policy Network at NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service had objected to the billboard and had written a letter to the advertising company. “The billboard is only one of the many attacks on reproductive freedom and services for low-income women across the country,” said Nicole Mason, the executive director of the Women of Color Policy Network.
