Joslyn James: Following Tiger to The Masters!

Tiger Woods’ return to golf could get a lot dirtier. The embattled star’s former mistress, Joslyn James, said she plans to be at The Masters in Augusta next month when Woods makes his much anticipated comeback. His estranged wife, Elin Woods, is leaning towards not going , likely in no small part because of Woods’ dalliances with James, the details of which she keeps leaking. We doubt Joslyn being nearby will help his focus. Although he has flown her in to be with him at events before (including right after his first child’s birth ) so you never know … maybe she’s a good luck charm? Tiger Woods liked what he saw in Joslyn James, his porn star mistress. He also liked choking and spanking her, according to text messages she claims she has from him . According to reports, Joslyn is currently planning on working at a gentleman’s club just down the street from the Augusta National Golf Club. She is really out to rile him. She has certainly become one of the more visible Tiger Woods mistresses , posting frequent updated on a new site, which talks all about her relationship with him. Fortunately for Woods, Augusta National Golf Club and The Masters are well contained, with media credentials handed out months early and tickets hard to come by. Most celebrity gossip tabloids and stalkers will have to camp out down the street, in other words, or see James strip in Atlanta, where she’s also going to do a “show.” She’s not even getting paid, so why is she out to smear him so badly? James deserves “an apology from Tiger because he had to gall to cheat with other women.” Cheat with women other than her, that is.

Katy Perry Gets Slimed At Kids’ Choice Awards

‘Why does it taste like boogers?’ singer jokes onstage. By Amy Wilkinson Katy Perry backstage at the Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday Photo: Chris Polk/KCA2010/Getty Images During Saturday’s (March 27) 23rd Annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, singer Katy Perry joined an elite and very exclusive group whose members include Johnny Depp, Harrison Ford and Sandra Bullock. In other words, she was slimed. Clad in a skintight yellow dress and a bright blue wig, Perry took the KCA stage along with actor Jonah Hill to present the award for Favorite Movie Actress. As Perry opened the box to reveal the winner’s name, she was met instead by a forceful green geyser of slime, which sent her flying to the floor and coated her face, outfit and fake hair. “I can’t see anything,” she exclaimed after emerging from a puddle of the slimy goo and hugging Hill. “Why does it taste like boogers?” “You look great,” Hill reassured her. When winner Miley Cyrus’ name was finally announced for the acting award, Perry made a move to hug the winner as she reached for her orange blimp. “Don’t you dare,” Cyrus warned. After dodging the singer stealthily, Cyrus joked, “Luckily, we both wear wigs, so it’s OK.” Prior to Saturday’s ceremony, Perry Tweeted, “Hope I don’t get none of that disgusting booger slime on me @Kids Choice Awards 2night … I’ll slap the ho that ruins my weave, nails, face!” Following her messy presentation, Perry simply Tweeted, “Crap.” Perry was one of several celebs, including “Twilight” actor Jackson Rathbone, to be slimed during the evening’s show. This was not the first time Perry got a little dirty on an awards-show stage. During 2008’s Los Premios, the “I Kissed a Girl” singer belly-flopped into a giant birthday cake , slipping on the icing and falling to the ground. Sri Lanka to Akon: Smack Dat Sexy Chick Somewhere Else!

Akon has postponed an April concert in Sri Lanka after the nation’s government said it planned to deny his visa this week. The problem? A certain “Sexy Chick.” Specifically, a sexy chick who’s feverishly shakin’ dat booty all up in a Buddha statue’s grill in the song of that name by David Guetta featuring Akon. Obviously. More than 200 protestors in the city of Colombo threw rocks at the offices of Capital Maharaja, Akon’s concert promoters, angrily reacting to the video Monday. The mob – some carrying signs that read “Stop Akon Now!!” – broke windows and hit cars parked near the building. Four employees were reportedly injured. “Sexy Chick,” the hit song Akon recorded for Dave Guetta’s One Love album, shows babes dancing all suggestively in front of this Buddha statue by a pool: Images like the screen cap above have “triggered a lot of disappointment among Buddhists all over the world,” a Sri Lankan government spokesman said. Online debate heated up as well. The “We Hate Akon” page on Facebook has more than 12,000 members. That’s both hilarious and sad at the same time. “I was not aware that the statue was even on the set of the video until now,” Akon said. “I would never desecrate anyone’s religion or religious beliefs.” More than 60 percent of Sri Lanka’s population is Buddhist, and “I myself am a spiritual man, so I can understand why they are offended,” Akon added. “But violence is never the answer and I am disheartened.” Akon gets spiritual in his “Sexy Chick” video . In case you’re unclear what song we’re talking about, and feel like getting it stuck in your head for 72 hours (you’re welcome!), it’s the one with this verse: She’s nothing like a girl you’ve ever seen before / Nothing you can compare to your neighborhood hoe I’m tryna find the words to describe this girl … Without being disrespectful! The way that booty movin I can’t take no more / Have to stop what i’m doin so I can pull up close I’m tryna find the words to describe this girl … Without being disrespectful!

‘American Idol’ In 60 Seconds: Our Parents’ Hits Can’t Save Paige Miles

Miley Cyrus and the top 11’s take on Billboard hits make Jim bitter. By Jim Cantiello Miley Cyrus performs on “American Idol” on Wednesday Photo: Michael Becker / FOX “American Idol” in 60 Seconds has fast become an MTV News institution, but it goes by so fast that it’s not always easy to catch every golden nugget. So, here we present to you Jim Cantiello’s bite-size recap of this week’s “Idol” high jinks. This week’s “American Idol” was a lot like watching an episode of “Cops,” in that you needed to separate from the reality of the situation in order to fully enjoy its absurd pop-culture trashiness. (Unlike “Cops,” nobody was half naked and handcuffed; although it’s likely Kara has imagined such a scenario with Casey James.) First of all, we had mentor Miley Cyrus , who decided to give advice to the contestants pantless. (But don’t worry, she wore two crucifixes to balance out her bare bottom half.) All kidding aside, Miley turned out to be a perfectly respectable “Idol” guest. She warmly disapproved of contestants who fumbled lyrics (Andrew Garcia), urged front-runners to push themselves harder (Crystal Bowersox) and came up with a silly excuse to hug the cute boy (Tim Urban). And then there were the performances. … Oh, the performances. The week’s wide-open theme was Billboard #1 hits (shhhh, don’t tell anyone that Miley has never had a #1 song on the Hot 100 Chart). But almost all of the contestants picked songs that were popular when their parents were twenty-somethings. Aerosmith, Phil Collins, Linda Ronstadt, Percy Sledge, Marvin Gaye … wait, is this “The Big Chill” soundtrack? Ironically, 17-going-on-70-year-old Katie Stevens was the one contestant who picked a contemporary song (Fergie’s ode to blankets). The only performance worthy of any real praise was season-nine MVP Crystal Bowersox’s “Me and Bobby McGee.” Let’s just hope she starts bringing new things to the stage each week, other than plush carpets. Other moments of note: Siobhan had silly hair, Didi made funny faces, Michael Lynche is still a cheeseball, Lee Dewyze can do a Box Tops song without anyone acknowledging the recent passing of Alex Chilton , Casey James does a killer Huey Lewis impression and Tim Urban slid across the stage like he was stealing third base. On Wednesday night’s results show, the contestants slowly learned who made it into the top 10, and thus, the formally beloved, now dreaded American Idols Live summer tour. But first, there were two special musical guest performances to “enjoy!” Miley Cyrus tore into her current hit, “Not the Climb,” like a wolf rips into the carcass of a caribou. (One could argue it was about as pleasant to the listener, too!) Then Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato sang a song about pebbles with such a palpable intensity, I expected the Disney Sonny and Cher to rip off their purity rings and go at it live on television. During the results reveal, we learned that Siobhan’s friends are even weirder than she is (Stage blood! Shaving protests!), Didi Benami has difficulty standing upright while lip-synching (she totally fell during the group number), and Crystal Bowersox is such a beloved TV star, she’s able to mouth the words “holy s—” on prime-time television without the FCC threatening any fines. In the bottom three: Tim Urban and Paige Miles, not so shocking since Paige croaked one of the worst “Idol” vocals ever Tuesday night. More surprising was Katie Stevens’ inclusion on the chopping block, mostly because it meant Andrew Garcia was not in the bottom three, and as Simon would say, that guy “sucks … the life out of a song.” In the end, Paige was the one who had to sing for her life, but Simon murdered that idea when he told her she had a better chance of conceiving Clay Aiken’s second baby than performing well enough to justify using the judges’ save on her. Check out the latest (especially bitter) “American Idol” in 60 Seconds recap, embedded in this article. Let us know your take on this week’s “Idol” episodes by leaving a comment below. Miley Cyrus Dishes Out Advice On ‘American Idol’

Disney superstar has kind words (and words of warning) for the top 11. By Katie Byrne Miley Cyrus on “American Idol” Tuesday Photo: Fox While previous “American Idol” mentors have included Barry Manilow, Randy Travis and Diana Ross, the show took things a bit younger this week with Miley Cyrus coaching the top 11 contestants. The theme of the week was #1 hits, and, as Ryan Seacrest pointed out at the top of the show, “This pop princess may only be 17, but she has a lifetime of experience.” When Seacrest caught up with Cyrus in the audience, she admitted that she was worried about critiquing the singers because, “I’m a fan of theirs.” But she didn’t hold back, offering just as much praise as constructive criticism. With Lee Dewyze, Miley took the season’s lone rocker to task for his lack of charisma onstage. “Lee, I think, has an amazing voice,” Cyrus said. “The only thing that is lacking sometimes is his stage presence.” She also called out his straightforward arrangement of the Box Tops’ “The Letter.” “Give them a few notes they wouldn’t expect from you,” she suggested. Cyrus had Paige Miles’ number from the start, warning: “I think as long as she watches her pitch, she’ll be great.” We all know how that turned out, but Miley also had some kind words for the smiley singer. “Your voice is just as powerful when you sing really soft as when you belt it out,” Cyrus said. Tim Urban’s Bieber hairstyle must have cast a spell on Miley, because she was putty in his hands. “I would give you two thumbs up,” she told him after a run-through of Queen’s “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.” “I think you rock.” She also answered the judges’ concerns about Urban being boring. “It’s not the personality he’s lacking,” she said. “It’s just adding riffs or switching it up somehow.” Aaron Kelly, who sang Miley’s “The Climb” during his audition, got a thumbs-up from the singer herself on his version. When he started singing Aerosmith’s “Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing,” Cyrus’ jaw dropped, which she later explained: “I made a face because I didn’t realize how good he was.” Miley immediately praised Crystal Bowersox’s “different” take on Janis Joplin’s “Me and Bobby McGee.” She did encourage the front-runner to take a few more risks at the end of the song. “There were some times when she hit those high notes that it sounded gospel,” Cyrus said. After Michael Lynche maintained eye contact with Miley the entire time he crooned “When a Man Loves a Woman,” the pop star “had nothing bad to say” about the big teddy bear. “He sang that song to me the entire way,” she marveled. “I couldn’t do that. It’s very nerve-racking to stare at someone and sing.” Andrew Garcia took some risky advice from Miley, agreeing to set his guitar aside so the performance wouldn’t be so “stiff.” “I feel like you could do it just singing and working the crowd. I think the chicks would dig it,” she laughed. After he flubbed the lyrics to Marvin Gaye’s “Heard It Through the Grapevine,” Cyrus had one last piece of advice: “Learn your words!” Miley met up with fellow 17-year-old Katie Stevens and urged her to “remember who you are as a musician and why you love music.” She also had three words for Katie as she tackled Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry” on the “Idol” stage: “Edge it up.” Cyrus was big on eye contact during her mentoring stint, and she repeated that advice to Casey James, relaying how important it is to her fans when she looks them in the eyes. “When I’m onstage, I always try to make eye contact with the people in the first few rows,” she said. “If he does that and brings personality to it, I think he’ll do great.” Didi Benami took advantage of her time with Cyrus by asking about stage fright. “Anyone that tells you that they’re not nervous at all, you’ve got to be a little nervous,” she said. “That’s what drives you.” But you just can’t let the nerves “take over,” Miley told Didi. As for the singing, Cyrus praised Benami’s vibrato. “I think this is a really good song for her, because she can really showcase that,” she said. Miley admitted right off the bat that she was a Siobhan Magnus fan. “Siobhan stuck out for me,” she said. “She’s just got something very interesting about her.” But Magnus was really excited by one of Miley’s compliments: “Your voice has such a swagger to it.” How do you think Miley did as a mentor? Matthew McConaughey Invites MTV News Into The Studio With Mishka

Reggae singer’s second album with the actor-turned-producer, Talk About, hit iTunes on Tuesday. By Matt Elias Photo: MTV News In late December, Matthew McConaughey and Mishka were holed up in a cozy studio in Santa Monica, California, putting the finishing touches on a new album by Mishka, the first artist signed to McConaughey’s J.K. Livin’ label. The duo offered MTV News a rare glimpse into the recording process, allowing us to document the actual session — not just a re-creation of what they did before our cameras arrived. The guys were laying down the final track of the album, “Stars Will Be Shining,” a fitting title for the journey that connected Mishka and McConaughey in the first place. In a truly “stars were aligned” kind of story, McConaughey heard Mishka’s music while vacationing in Jamaica in 1999. The actor liked Mishka’s brand of roots reggae-meets-folk rock so much that he made several attempts to contact the musician, to no avail. “I kinda had an APB out looking for anything Mishka,” McConaughey recalled. “A guy in my office said, ‘There’s a guy named Mishka that’s at the House of Blues here in Hollywood, so we’ll go see if it’s him.’ ” It turned out to be him, and the duo began their relationship — both personal and professional (McConaughey launched his music label solely to get Mishka’s music to the masses). McConaughey joked that the artist had no idea who he was until Mishka’s wife remembered seeing him on TV from time to time. McConaughey grinned: “Yeah, I’m on TV sometimes.” And with McConaughey’s help, Mishka had his time to shine on TV too — with appearances on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “The Rachael Ray Show.” He also found success with the 2009 album Above the Bones, landing at #1 on Billboard ‘s reggae chart and earning iTunes’ Best New Artist honor. That album was McConaughey’s first venture as a music producer, and he continues that role on the new LP, Talk About, due Tuesday (March 23) on iTunes and March 30 in stores. McConaughey sees a lot of similarities between his day job and producing music — something he clearly gets a kick out of. “It’s very similar to making movies. It’s very similar to telling a story,” McConaughey said. “That’s what’s really neat about it. Maybe it’s a different vocabulary, but each song’s its own story. Each song kind of has their own three-act structure. … We start with a tease, then intro everybody, take it high, climax, pull off, give it a rest and then leave them wanting a little bit more.” McConaughey admits that he’s still learning the lingo — “When in doubt, I’ll throw ‘legato’ out there every 10 minutes,” he joked — but he’s not on his own. The album is also co-produced by Butch Walker, who boasts pop/punk producing credits with Fall Out Boy, Weezer and many others. While Mishka’s mellow genre is not usually on Walker’s radar, the veteran producer said reggae is not as scientific as producing a pop record. In other words, it doesn’t take as much tinkering and editing. That was the vibe when we visited the studio that day: an easygoing group making sun-drenched music, just in time for those lazy summer days.

Rumored Couple Alert: Amanda Bynes and Drake?

She likes his nickname for her and remembers things they said “months ago.” She thinks he’s “worth the wait” and quotes lyrics to express feelings for him. And they may already be broken up. Such is the life of Amanda Bynes and Drake, supposedly. It was a rumored romance spawned – where else – on Twitter. Drake termed Amanda “Penny Lane” in one Tweet , and she noted in a message they have something in common: “Drake is half Jewish like me … word!” Word indeed. “You’re the best, which is why I’m saving you for last,” she wrote, quoting lyrics from Rihanna ( linked to Drake herself last year) and Jay-Z. Bynes then raided iheartquotes.com for further inspiration. Is (or was) Amanda Bynes the best Drake ever had? Cute as it sounds, Bynes’ new flame may actually be an old one. On Valentine’s Day, Bynes said she was newly single and was glad she never her man’s identity. Then this week she wrote, “Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect,” she hinted, quoting J.K. Rowling. Deep . Whomever the man is, he was rocking Bynes’ world for weeks. She writes: “It’s amazing when someone knows how to love you with out being told.” Until things went south: “I have a friend I thought was like a sister to me,” she wrote. “She’s been lying to me and has been up to no good with a man I like.” The actress then added that “Some people make me sick.” Damn, Drake. Cheating on her with her BFF? Bold, man. Bold and cold, my friend. Bet Amanda’s watching the video of Drake’s on-stage ACL tear on repeat.

Miley Cyrus to Serve as Mentor to American Idol Hopefuls, Perform on Show This Week

She might hate the Internet , her own hit Disney show and the entire country music genre, but Miley Cyrus still has plenty of passion and expertise to go around. The teen queen will be the celebrity mentor on American Idol this week, Fox confirms. Tuesday night will reportedly feature a Billboard No. 1 hits-themed show. Of the 11 contestants left, three are teens: last week’s sensation Siobhan Magnus , 19, Aaron Kelly, 16, and Katie Stevens, 17. Tim Urban is just 20 years old. Of course, the three teens all took on The Rolling Stones – more than triple their age – and pleased the judges with their homages to the rock gods last week. Will Miley be able to steer them in the right direction this week? Or will the girlfriend of Liam Hemsworth act like she’s better than them? We’ll soon find out … Miley Cyrus is promoting The Last Song this week. No doubt there will be a plug – or maybe even a track – or two from that tear-jerker when she comes to American Idol. On Wednesday’s results show, Miley will be back to perform her hit song, “When I Look At You,” while new couple Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato will duet on “Make A Wave.” In other words, clear the space on your DVR now, because this watershed moment in teen music history may be one you hold onto and savor for many years to come.
