Nicki Minaj has her boobs on full display in the latest issue of Rolling Stone. But, for a change, it’s actually the words spoken by this artist to the publication that have people talking. That’s because Minaj opens up to the magazine about the abortion she underwent as a teenager. In the cover story, Minaj talks about an older guy from Queens she dated while she was a student at the performing-arts high school LaGuardia. The relationship led to an unexpected pregnancy and then to a decision that weighs on Nicki’s mind to this day. “I thought I was going to die,” she tells Rolling Stone. “I was a teenager. Uhhhhhhhhhh … Via KKTV A married couple allegedly took on the role of “Grinch” this Christmas season and stole Christmas displays from dozens of Colorado Springs families. Jeremy Lewallen, 18, and his 42-year-old wife Carrie Carley were arrested Dec. 19. Police say they used the displays they swiped to decorate their own yard. According to the arrest affidavit obtained by 11 News, a neighbor who had his decorations stolen was driving around his neighborhood when he spotted a very familiar looking Christmas display in the suspects’ front yard. Police served a search warrant there and allegedly found, in the words of one of the theft victims, “a decoration graveyard.” Officers said that both the front and back yards of the home were filled with stolen lawn ornaments and Christmas decorations. The arrest papers say that the couple admitted to stealing about $2,000 worth of decorations. The papers then go on to say that when police asked Lewallen about stealing from families, he “chuckled” and said he didn’t care about who he affected when he stole from others. The man accused of stealing Christmas from others is still behind bars as of Christmas morning. His wife, however, has bonded out and spoke to 11 News Christmas Eve night. She maintains that her husband acted alone. “Every morning he’d go out for a walk, at like 2 or 3, and then there was just more stuff in the yard,” Carley said. “I didn’t know exactly where it all came from.” They GOTTA be cousins, right? “He…I guess he still thinks it’s a game. He doesn’t seem to care really one way or another. … I asked him, and he was like, ‘Well, this is my job.’ And I’m like, ‘Taking from unassuming people is your job?’” When asked if her husband knew he allegedly hurt a lot of people, Carley said he didn’t care. “It doesn’t seem to affect him,” she said. According to Carley, Lewallen also spent time in jail in November for stealing Halloween decorations. 11 News reporter Dustin Cuzick asked her why, then, seeing Christmas decorations pop up in her yard wouldn’t have raised suspicion. “I just didn’t know what to do, you know, I didn’t know if I called if I was going to get in trouble myself or not, you know, because it was in my yard.” The couple faces felony theft charges, which Carley said she is going to fight. Elizabeth Lauten, an aide to a Tennessee Congressman, is under fire for posting a Facebook rant calling out the daughters of U.S. President Barack Obama. Following the POTUS’ annual pardoning of a Thanksgiving turkey – a silly but harmless White House tradition – Lauten tore into his two teenage girls. Sasha and Malia Obama were apparently not as transfixed by the pardon ceremony as this Congressional aide would have appreciated, thankyouvermuch. Lauten, obviously, took to Facebook to lecture the pair: “Dear Sasha and Malia, I get your both in those awful teen years but you’re a part of the First Family. Try showing a little class. At least respect the part you play.” “Then again, your mother and father don’t respect their positions very much, or the nation for that matter, so I’m guessing you’re coming up a little short in the ‘good role model’ department.” “Dress like you deserve respect, not a spot in a bar.” Yeah. Possibly a bit over the line at the end there. The communications director for Rep. Steven Fincher (R) and one-time media manager for the Republican National Committee soon felt the backlash. After being called “mean,” “thoughtless,” “ignorant,” and many more things not suitable for print on a family celebrity gossip website, Lauten apologized. “After many hours of prayer, talking to my parents, and re-reading my words online,” she said she wished she had not make the controversial comments. “I can see more clearly just how hurtful my words were,” an apologetic Lauten said . “Please know, those judgmental feelings truly have no place in my heart.” The original post has either been deleted or made private. Roseanne Barr spent her Thanksgiving this year backtracking from a joke most Twitter followers believe went way too far. Late Wednesday night, the comedian posted a photo of her swollen/ravaged face online, quipping that she just “got in a tussle w bill cosby” and “U shoyld see that mfer.” The former sitcom star later deleted the picture and the caption and explained that the following image was due to a “chemical peel” she got to “look more sexier.” Barr, of course, was originally joking about the ongoing Bill Cosby scandal in which that legendary actor finds himself at the center of numerous sexual assault allegations. Multiple women have come forward over the past few weeks and accused Cosby of drugging them and raping them, with most alleged cases having taken place in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Most recently, celebrities such as Michelle Hurd and Janice Dickinson have joined the long list of accusers. Cosby has remained awkwardly mum on the issue (below), while his attorney has released a handful of statement that deny all allegations made against his client. Bill Cosby Shoots Down Sexual Assault Questions However, it’s clear where Barr stands on the controversy. “I don’t wanna get sued or have [Cosby] send anyone to beat me up, but I think it’s obvious: 13 to 1,” Barr told The New York Daily News in regard to the number of women who have come forward against Cosby. Roseanne adds that this situation “is the best and the worst thing. It’s horrible when you peel back the curtain and see what’s behind it, but it’s so great that people now have the capacity to actually look at the truth and see how it adds up.” What do you think of her Twitter picture and joke?
