Naomi Campbell Reacts to Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Vogue Cover

The Kim Kardashian-Kanye West Vogue cover continues to be a topic of discussion worldwide. People really cannot wrap their head around the fact that a reality star would ever be featured on so esteemed a fashion magazine. (Nevermind the fact that Kim and Kanye both have fashion lines…) The latest to sound off? Naomi Campbell. But she’s a little more diplomatic and reserved in her response than Sarah Michelle Gellar was on Twitter when she threatened to cancel her subscription to the magazine. Naomi Campbell Unamused by Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Vogue Cover When asked about the KimYe cover, Naomi Campbell declined to respond, eventually saying “I’m a fashion model and I’ve been working for 28 years.” “When you get a Vogue cover, it’s a build in your career…. a stepping stone to achieve that.” That wasn’t a good enough answer for the hosts of Australia’s  The Morning Show. They went on to ask “Kim and Kanye haven’t earned the right to be on the cover of  Vogue ?” “Those are your words, not mine. I’m being politically correct,” Campbell replied. Campbell has graced the cover of  Vogue 5 times in her storied, 28-year modeling career. She knows a thing or two about the fashion world and that magazine in particular. (And whacking assistants in the head with cell phones, but that’s another story for another day…) The media firestorm surrounding the  Vogue cover has been both hilarious and disheartening. Seth Rogen and James Franco’s spoof cover wins in the hilarity column. Anna Wintour, the magazine’s editor, wrote a public letter stating that Kanye West did not pay or beg Wintour to put his fiance’ on the cover of the magazine. WTF ?!? Anita Baker Wanted By Police In Detroit Via TMZ reports: Anita Baker — famous for her 80s hit song “Sweet Love” — is now a wanted woman in Detroit … after an arrest warrant was issued for the Grammy-winning singer. According to court records, the bench warrant was issued yesterday after the singer failed to show up to court for a hearing in her current legal battle with a paint and decorating company. Ray Smith Painting and Decorating has sued Baker, claiming she owes the company $15,000 for services it performed inside her giant Grosse Pointe home — and so far, she still hasn’t anted up. We reached out to Anita’s camp for comment — so far, no word back. We never thought we’d see the words “Anita Baker” and “wanted by police” in the same sentence. What the sweet love hell??!

Lady Gaga got puked on while performing her song “Swine” on the Doritos #BoldStage at the SXSW music festival Thursday. And there’s video! Nice! The person booting on Gaga wasn’t a drunk fan, though. It was “vomit painter” Millie Brown, a part of the ARTPOP performer’s wild and provocative show. In other words, Gaga kneeled mid-song next to Brown, who stuck her finger down her throat and threw up a slimy green substance all over the singer. Which was somehow not surprising for Lady Gaga. Take a look: Lady Gaga SXSW Performance Gaga later took off the apron she was wearing at the time of the hurling, but the 27-year-old performed covered in puke for the rest of her SXSW show. Not that she was clean to begin with. “I’ve been having such a good time, I didn’t even shower!” she said at the start of the night, according to Billboard. “I’ve been drinking a lot and eating. Are you f–king hungry? I’ve been having such a good time hearing music, I forgot to do everything this week!” “Now let’s f–king celebrate! This is the moment now!” “I won’t play by your f–king rules. This is our world!” Words to live by. At another point, she urged the sellout crowd to put down their camera phones. “F–k your cell phone. F–k your friends instead!” she yelled. She also opened up about her insecurities. “Sometimes, when you’re not yourself it’s so much harder. It’s so much easier to be yourself than it is to be somebody else,” she said before singing “Dope.” “When you have to pretend to be somebody else you do things you don’t wanna do. It eats your soul inside and makes you do stupid s–t,” Gaga added. As such, “I wrote this for all the things I’m sorry for. I’m so sorry to myself, that I don’t always be myself. Jillian Michaels: Rachel Frederickson Weight Loss "Too Much" on The Biggest Loser

When Rachel Frederickson revealed her weight loss on The Biggest Loser finale, even Jillian Michaels was agasp. Until now, though, she hadn’t opened up about it. “I was stunned,” the trainer told HuffPost Live. “I thought she had lost too much weight.” Jillian Michaels Slams Rachel Frederickson Weight Loss Michaels said the show implements a number of checks and balances, including having the trainers check in with contestants even after the ranch. But she had no idea Rachel Frederickson had been losing so much on her own, bringing her weight loss total to a staggering 155 pounds (out of 260). “In my opinion, this had fallen through those checks and balances,” she said of The Biggest Loser winner and her controversial season-ending reveal. Frederickson herself has since said she may have gone to an extreme, admitting: “Maybe I was a little too enthusiastic in my training to get to the finale.” She also looked healthier this week on Today, but Jillian Michaels still expressed concern at the results, and that it wasn’t just enthusiasm at work. In fact, she likened her weight loss to the extreme weight gain that brought her to the NBC show in the first place, arguing that they’re not too different. “Anybody who gains too much weight or loses too much weight… these are both manifestations of the same issue,” she said, making an interesting point. “It simply means that somebody is utilizing their relationship with food to manage their emotions which are painful, hard, difficult to face or control.” Some critics have called for the show’s cancelation in the wake of this result, but NBC hinted it will move forward with “small but significant” tweaks. Farrah Abraham Put ON NOTICE By Steve Hirsch: Stop Lying or Else!

Farrah Abraham has been served … with a cease and desist letter from Vivid Entertainment, warning her to knock off her recent antics or face consequences. At issue is the fact that the Backdoor Teen Mom star – despite considerable talents with other orifices – is becoming best known for her mouth at this point. Farrah Abraham has been all about slamming the porn industry, despite her very willing participation in (and HUGE profits earned from) her “sex tape.” Vivid CEO Steve Hirsch offered her a million dollars to prove that she was truly drugged and raped while promoting the tape, as she alarmingly claimed. On Couples Therapy on VH1, she made a huge issue of this, even though the claim is dubious at best, and reprehensible if she did indeed fabricate it. Which evidence certainly suggests she did, sadly. She ducked the polygraph offer , basically proving him right. When you ask Dear Abby for advice, be sure you’re ready to hear it. Recently a couple wrote to the long-running column (currently penned by Jeanne Phillips, daughter of the original Abby) complaining that their new neighborhood was a little more…diverse than they were used to. “Two couples in the neighborhood are gay — one male, one female. While they are nice enough, my husband and I did not include them when it was our turn to host because we do not approve of their lifestyle choices,” wrote ‘Unhappy in Tampa’. “Since then, we have been excluded from neighborhood gatherings, and someone even suggested that we are bigots!” You don’t say. First Abby points out that “lifestyle choice” might be the wrong word: “Gay people don’t choose to be gay; they are born that way. They can’t change being gay any more than you can change being heterosexual.” Then she mentions the crazy hypocrisy in excluding people only to then complain you’re being excluded. She closes with a less-than-gentle suggestion: “From where I sit, you may have chosen the wrong place to live because it appears you would be happier in a less integrated neighborhood surrounded by people who think the way you do.” In other words, if you don’t like the neighbors, you’re the ones who need to beat it.
