Well… in a word? Swoon . The superstar lads’ episode will air in the fall, but you can check out this adorable new preview clip of their performance now. One Direction Sing On Sesame Street The handsome fellows changed the words to their 2011 single ” What Makes You Beautiful ” in order to show what makes the letter “U” so useful. Brilliant, no? The Fifty Shades of Grey movie has the potential to be one of the most graphic, mainstream movies in decades … but will the final product reflect that? While Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan have been hard at work filming steamy scenes, it appears that audiences might not get to see much of them. Reports are surfacing from the Canadian set that Universal wants desperately to lure a younger audience into the theaters to boost its box office profits. Dornan has expressed his willingness – even hopes – that a Fifty Shades of Grey NC-17 edition be filmed and released. Execs may not agree, however. Even if it was scaled back to an R rating, that would severely restrict the audience that could be allowed into see the film adaption of E.L. James’ novel. When you consider that … speculation is that it may be all or nothing. There is even talk of a PG-13 rated Fifty Shades of Grey that pushes the boundaries on that level, yet alludes to or discusses may or the sex scene. In other words, very few visuals of Christian Grey ransacking Ana. From a business standpoint, this could be part of a multifaceted approach in which a hardcore “director’s cut” of the film could arrive on DVD and Blu-Ray. At the end of the day, studios are in business to make profits, and Hollywood could easily follow the money to where the younger audiences lead it. The question is whether it would alienate many fans as a result. Some things are sexier if they are teased, alluded to, or implied, rather than thrown in your face. Fifty Shades of Grey is probably not one of those things. The readers of the book likely want to watch Christian passionately screw Ana Steele’s brains out. Dennis Rodman has checked into rehab. The former NBA All-Star, who totally lost his $hit during an interview with CNN this month in concert with his trip to North Korea , has admitted he has a drinking problem. The five-time NBA champion has come under heavy scrutiny for celebrating the 31st birthday of dictator Kim Jong-un by playing in an exhibition basketball game in North Korea along with a number of ex-professional ballers. Rodman was asked by Chris Cuomo about the adventure a few weeks ago, flipped out over questions regarding that nation’s human rights violations and later apologized , saying he was wasted at the time. “What was potentially a historic and monumental event turned into a nightmare for everyone concerned,” Rodman’s agent Darren Prince told USA Today in a statement, adding: “Dennis Rodman came back from North Korea in pretty rough shape emotionally. The pressure that was put on him to be a combination ‘super human’ political figure and ‘fixer’ got the better of him. He is embarrassed, saddened and remorseful for the anger and hurt his words have caused.” Rodman appeared on Season 3 of Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew, but – shockingly – that rehab visit didn’t change his behavior. Let’s hope he takes his latest one a bit more seriously.
Juan Pablo Galavis has issued an apology for remarks he made today in regard to the possibility of a gay Bachelor on ABC. When asked in an interview if the network should ever center a season around a homosexual single man, the Season 18 hunt said no… that would not be a “good example” for viewers. Juan Pablo later added that gay people are “more pervert in a sense” and the show would be “too strong” if they were involved. In a long Facebook post, however, the Bachelor has backtracked and tried to explain the remarks. “I want to apologize to all the people I may have offended because of my comments on having a Gay or Bisexual Bachelor. The comment was taken out of context. Lena Dunham covers the latest issue of Vogue , marking the first time this writer/producer/actress has graced the front of a national fashion magazine. Cause for celebration, right? Or cause for celebration, according to some. In an attempt to defend Dunham as “a woman who trumpets body positivity, Jezelbel paid $10,000 to Vogue for the star’s untouched images from her new spread. The website received them… and then printed a couple of the photos in order to depict just how the publication edited Dunham’s eyes, chin, cleavage and other areas. To wit: In the end, writs Jezebel, Dunham’s pics “were not drastically altered,” but “it’s important to remember how unforgiving the media is when it comes to images of women.” It adds: “Men are generally allowed to have pores and wrinkles; women are supposed to be “perfect” — a state that does not exist.” Mother Jones’ co-editor Clara Jeffery, meanwhile, wrote on Twitter: “If [Lena]’s given us an image of a real woman on Girls, and they altered — perhaps without her consent, isn’t that a paradox that should be explored?” Not according to Dunham herself. Rest In Peace Former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon Passes Away Former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has died at the age of 85 after spending 8 years in a comatose state following a stroke. via CNN Ariel Sharon, whose half century as a military and political leader in Israel was marked with victories and controversies, died Saturday after eight years in a coma, Israeli Army Radio reported. Sharon was 85. Sharon died at Sheba Medical Center in the Tel Aviv suburb of Tel Hashomer. The Israeli statesman was a national war hero to many Israelis for his leadership, both in uniform or as a civilian, during every Israeli war. Many in the Arab world called Sharon “the Butcher of Beirut” after he oversaw Israel’s 1982 invasion of Lebanon while serving as defense minister. He was in his fifth year as prime minister when he suffered a massive stroke in January 2006, which left him comatose. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. WENN

“Don’t throw rocks at the throne…” Eric Braden Shoots Down Rumors He Got Michael Muhney Fired “Young & The Restless” soap opera star Michael Muhney shocked viewers and fans when he took to his Twitter towards the end of 2013 to confirm that he’d been fired from the show. Muhney, who played Adam Newman during his 5-year stint on the show, has since been making his media rounds and suggesting that his veteran co-star Eric Braden aka “Victor Newman” was partly to blame for his holiday pink-slip. Papa Newman initially remained silent as his on-screen son continued with the allegations, but he’s now spoken out to Radar Online to shut down his on-screen youngin.’ via Radar Online The cast and crew of hit soap The Young & The Restless are in turmoil, in the wake of star Michael Muhney being fired for allegedly groping the breasts of his costar Hunter King multiple times. Now, in an unprecedented move, veteran actor Eric Braeden — best known for his role as Victor Newman on the soap since 1980 — has come forward exclusively to RadarOnline.com in a bid to set the record straight about rumors that he played a role in the termination of Muhney, 38. RadarOnline.com: Sources have told Radar that your relationship with Michael Muhney was contentious at times. Why was it? Eric Braeden: I welcomed Michael Muhney when he came here. He is a great actor. We did have our differences, but for anyone to say that I had him fired is a lie. I have always thought he was a very good actor and told him so. Towards the end, Muhney and I did have our differences and had a shouting match, no question. During that shouting match, all kinds of things were said. I won’t go into detail about it. I don’t remember the specifics of who said what but what I do recall is that I was prompted to get into ‘fisticuffs’ with him because he wanted me off the show, if you want to know the truth. That is about as far as I will go. That is it. It was a campaign to get me off the show. It was Muhney who wanted to get me off the show and he expressed that to various people. Radar: Why did he want you off the show? EB: He wanted me off the show because he wanted to be head honcho. In his words, I was the old lion and he was the young lion. I welcomed that guy, as I said. (I told him), ‘You are very good at what you do, keep your nose clean and stay out of everyone else’s business and just do your job.’ Radar: Was Michael Muhney his own worst enemy? EB: Yes, of course. He has no one else to blame but himself and he said as much when he left… to several people and I respect that he did that. He apologized for his ambition and his desire to become the guy, the young lion, pushing away the old lion. The last day he was here, he apologized to me, you bet. Radar: What did you think about Michael’s comments to the Huffington Post? EB: He is a very good actor and should keep his mouth shut. Two days before Justin came to my hometown ( Chicago ), a show to which I had no tickets to and which I was not planning on going to, I was on my way to a church retreat in Iowa City, a 4 hour bus ride away. Flash forward Monday, July 8 th at about 9 pm. I lay down on my bed exhausted from the day, and see an email notification. At that point I had completely forgotten that I even applied to the BieberFever Best Collection contest, but as soon as I saw the words “Congratulations, Anna,” my heart skipped a beat and I started crying. Every girl in my room was wondering what happened, and in between sobs I told them I had won meet and greets with Justin Bieber. Anyways, long story short, the amazing retreat director had the idea that I could take a bus home so my parents didn’t have to drive 8 hours. I decided to take my friend Jennifer, who happened to be on the retreat with me, and we took a bus from Iowa City to Chicago at 3 in the morning. Next thing I know, I am waiting in line to pick up my meet and greets, still with no tickets to the actual concert. Suddenly, a woman runs up to me and a couple girls in line next to me and is frantically trying to sell section 101, row 9 seats for face value at $95. Unfortunately, my friend and I only had about $80 with us, so we said no. But the lady persisted saying, “You girls are young, I’m not going to rip you off. Just give me $30 for each ticket.” I couldn’t believe it. Not only was I going to meet my idol, but I was going to the concert with amazing seats for a price near free. Soon, I’m walking down the steps to go backstage to meet Justin, hyperventilating and near tears. As we inched closer to the black curtain, I saw Kenny, Alfredo, Dan, and Scooter. Scooter waved to us and Dan said hi as well. And now, the moment I had been waiting for. I can’t describe the feeling, but the second that curtain opened and I saw Justin, my senses left me. I can honestly say that I don’t remember what he said, but thank God my friend Jennifer was there to tell me. I ran in, saw him, literally jumped on him and hugged him so hard that we both fumbled back. I have never in my life hugged someone as tight as him. After I hugged him, security started yelling, “NO HUGS NO KISSES JUST TAKE THE PICTURE.” We took it, and although I had a list of things to tell him, all I managed to say was, “You’re beautiful. I love you so much.” He replied with, “Aw you guys are the best. I love you, thank you so much for coming out to see me.” The second the flash went off, security was already pushing us out, but I yelled out, “Wait Justin one last hug!” He reached out towards me for a hug, and as I hugged him, I quickly pecked him on the cheek. It was honestly like I died and went to heaven and I’m not just saying that. I cried for the next hour and missed all the opening acts, but all I could think about was Justin and how amazing that was. The concert was of course amazing, and Justin must have been in a really good mood because he literally couldn’t stop cracking jokes or laughing. As I write this, I’m not even exaggerating, I still believe that it was all a dream and that it didn’t really happen.
