‘The Village’s’ Jerod Haynes On How Therapy Helped Him Become A Better Man And Actor

Source: NBC The Village / NBC/Jerod Haynes The very first time I saw Jerod Haynes , I knew he would be a star. Per a friend’s recommendation, we met back in late 2013 when Jerod came in to audition for my MFA thesis film “Blame.” The minute he read those lines, it was clear he was meant to play the role of this young father at a crossroads: Either turn his son into the police for raping their neighbor or delete the only evidence of the assault on the teen’s cell phone. Despite the tiny budget for our 6-day shoot, Jerod never treated it like an amateur student film. Like a true professional, he came to set ready and delivered a beautiful performance filled with complexity, empathy and rawness. Everyday, I looked into that monitor and was blown away in awe. And having watched his work over the years, whether it’s on stage or on-screen, Jerod is truly a force. Now five-plus-years later, the Chicago native is starring in his first TV leading role in NBC’s “The Village.” On the drama, he plays Ben, a New York City police officer living in his parent’s Brooklyn apartment complex where his neighbors are more like his family. The more obstacles they all encounter in life, the more they grow together. For Ben, he is also juggling a lot—the death of his son, his mother’s battle with pancreatic cancer and falling in love with Ava, an Iranian immigrant who ICE wants to deport.  That, and Ben is helping raise her son Sami. No doubt, the meatiness of a role like this is exactly what Jerod was made for. HelloBeautiful recently sat down with the rising star to talk about NBC’s “The Village,” being an African-American man playing a police officer and how therapy has helped him become a better actor and human being. HelloBeautiful: You were an athlete and then you became an actor. How did that happen? Jerod Haynes: I played basketball and even left college early to pursue it professionally, but my agent stopped answering my phone calls. [Laughs] So that dream never happened and I found myself stuck on my sister’s couch depressed. One day I Googled “depression” and it said something about acting classes, so I approached the Acting Studio Chicago . But I couldn’t afford the classes, so they worked out a barter system. I would take out the trash and do other things around the studio to get free classes. Soon, I realized that I really liked acting, so I took even more classes and auditioned for some plays, got guidance from people in the business and kept going with it. I started to see that as the window for basketball closed, another one opened. HB: OK, so I’ve had the privilege of directing you before, and listen…there were so many moments on set when I was looking into the monitor and was like “Damn, he’s really good.” At what point, did you realize that you were good at this? JH: Kellee, I’m still trying to figure that out! [Laughs] Honestly, sometimes I wonder if they are like, “What is he doing here? I want to say that I’m good, but that’s all subjective. But here’s what I do know. I enjoy this and I am just seeking to get better at it. HB: You have the ability to dig so deep within yourself with your role as Ben and in any supporting role you’ve had, like when you were on “Chicago Med” and your wife died and obviously “Blame.” You like to cry on-screen. [Laughs] JH: Ha! You know, this work teaches you who you really are. And learning who you are is the toughest task you can be given, because you see the good and the bad. You see your flaws up close and you really begin to understand what your triggers are, especially when the scripts require a high level of emotion and thoughtfulness. I started therapy and began learning why certain things affected me and what tools I need to have to work on them. Listen. Therapy works. Also, being able to articulate what and why something affects me in a scene has helped as an actor and as a man. I can read a scene and identify quicker with it and what it requires emotionally. HB: It’s so rare to hear a Black man speak so openly and positively about how therapy has improved their lives. Thank you for this, we need more to speak up. JH: Well, I wasn’t always that way, I won’t lie. But I got to a place where I kept hitting a ceiling and finally had to ask myself what was the worse thing that could happen by going to therapy? HB: Right, like the worse is that you get better? JH: Exactly. And like I said, it works. Source: NBC The Village / NBC HB: Shifting gears to “The Village,” what drew you to this role? JH: I remember reading the script and feeling like there was so much humanity in it. And in these times, we are seeing a lot of isolation and silence and people holding on to grudges. Yet, here is a story about this group of neighbors who try to understand each other and be there for one another. We all have a commonality of pain and that brings us together. You’re wounded, I’m wounded, so let me help you heal and vice versa. And these neighbors need each other’s help and can’t do it alone. Given how divided this country is right now, I was drawn to this story. “The Village” is the show we need now more than ever.

Ariel Winter Responds to Plastic Surgery Accusations on Instagram!

Okay, so after years of hype, winter never really came to Westeros — but did it show up at a Malibu plastic surgeon’s office instead? Yes, that’s our extremely lame way of introducing the latest round of Ariel Winter plastic surgery accusations. Interest in Ariel’s sitcom may be dwindling as Modern Family wraps up its 47th season, but on social media, the actress’ influence continues to grow.  Unfortunately, accumulating 4 million Instagram followers means being subject to a LOT of scrutiny, and because social media in 2019 is basically an open manhole, all that attention is gonna result in a whole lot of hateful comments. Sadly, Ariel is no stranger to body shaming, but fortunately, she typically wards off the trolls with surprising skill. But this latest round of trash talk is surprisingly specific, and bullies who really put a lot of thought into their idiocy are often the most dangerous kind. Ariel looks different in some of her recent pics, but that’s only because of her Little Mermaid-hued locks. (That name-appropriate comparison is hers, not ours. She captioned the above pic, “part of yourrrrrr worrrrrld”) But some extremely-online jackass who fancies himself a celebrity sleuth believes there’s more to the story. And thus, in what he probably considered some consummate act of d-bag bravery he “called out” Ariel and accused her of undergoing cosmetic surgery. “How many surgeries have you had on your body and face now?” sayeth the basement-dwelling goblin. When other followers pointed out that Ariel has spoken openly about her breast reductions and does not appear to have had any other work done, the troll presented his case in full: “Two breast reductions, that’s obvious, cheek bone and chin shaving and lip fillers. Pretty obvious, she looks so different #Truth,” he replied. Wow. He used the #Truth hashtag, so it has to be true, right? Yeah, not so much.  Ariel was quick to clap back and point out that nothing dude said has any basis in fact. “I wasn’t going to reply but I HAVE to ask…what the f–k is cheek bone and chin shaving????” Winter remarked, adding: “You’re also wrong about all of it by the way. One breast reduction & I lost weight but you do you boo.” That’s how you do it folks: Keep your sense of humor intact, set the record straight, and move on. Sure, there are times when it’s best to simply not acknowledge the haters at all. But to paraphrase Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, sometimes it’s important to not take any guff from these swine. Devastated Diddy Talks About The Loss Of Kim Porter And First Mother’s Day Since She Passed

Continue reading here:

Source: WENN / WENN Our friends over at Bossip.com recently reported about Diddy , his children and the way he’s been coping since the death of his longtime girlfriend and mother of his children Kim Porter . The interview was recorded with Diddy’s long-time friend dream hampton . In lighting of Mother’s Day, ESSENCE, with the permission of Diddy, published the audio from that conversation. Throughout it, Diddy shares several gems about the lessons Kim taught him, his new role as a “Mommy-Daddy,” whether or not he regrets anything he may or may not have done in their relationships and why Black mothers are the strongest beings on the earth. See below… Text “RICKEY” to 71007 to join the Rickey Smiley Morning Show mobile club for exclusive news.  ( Terms and conditions ). Diddy on people not understanding the relationship he and Kim shared…  There’s levels and dimensions to love and especially love between a man and woman. There’s this place that almost goes beyond friendship. It’s where two people actually feel a level of responsibility to love this person forever and a total trust. There’s not a lot of people you can say you have total trust. It went beyond us being involved intimately or in a traditional type of relationship. It really felt like a pure definition of unconditional love. Whenever I was around her, I always felt like God had his hand in it. Like God sent her for me to teach me something. Email Submit Diddy on whether or not he has any regrets about anything that happened in the relationship…  No I don’t say I have regrets. I don’t have regrets. I feel like when I had said on social media—somebody said, ‘You should have married her.’ And I said, ‘I played myself.’ And it was in many reasons. I wasn’t being all the way honest with my love for her, to myself and even to other people I was in a relationship with. I don’t have no regrets about how things went. They went the way God wanted them to go. But I was playing with love. And it’s not really to be played with. I definitely took for granted that she would just be with me forever. I took for granted that something like this could happen. Diddy on tapping into his feminine energy to become a better father…  Everything’s about the kids. And that’s what she instilled in me. That’s what she taught me. And now, as a full-time father, the level of presence that I have now and the level of patience that I have. And even selflessness. Nothing comes before my family before. But of course, there would be a couple of dates, some things I would miss because of my work. Really, putting them first. I always loved them as a father. But from a mother’s perspective, the kids come first and that’s it. It’s nothing else that really matters from a mother’s perspective. I immediately had the lens of a mother. The lens I have as a father was combined with the lens of a mother. I had immediately tap into my feminine side and that protective side. The mother protective is a little bit way crazier than the father protector. The emotions are at such a level. I’ve never actually felt emotions like this. My heart was never open like this. I never had my senses like this. So it’s been crazy from that point. But I knew that she was training me for this. I wasn’t scared. I knew that I was ready. I knew that I was ready to do what I was supposed to do if something like this would ever happen, from all the conversations that we had. We never really had conversations about anything else but our kids. Of course we would have our conversations as friends but if there was time. You know, if I had time and we were alone, her focus was her kids. I inherited that. And I’m proud of it. I feel like I was taught by the best. I know what to do. And even if I don’t know what to do, I just ask myself, ‘What would Kim do?’ SEE ALSO:  Diddy Reveals Kim Porter’s Final Words To Him, Covers ESSENCE With His Beautiful Baby Girls Diddy on raising women…  I was really concerned about that. So I went to different women and I asked them what could I do to be the best father that I can to my girls. And they all were consistent. They told me, number one is to listen. To make sure that they can speak to me about anything and they’ll know that I’ll really listen and they know I won’t judge them. I had to let them know I’m here to listen. I constantly let them know I’m here to listen and I’m not going to judge y’all. And I can say I probably was a judgmental person a—not the best listener. A not so good listener. I would describe myself as a bad listener. Then they told me that you can’t be controlling. You’re not going to be able to control them. If you try to control them, it’s going to push them further away. So I wouldn’t say I’m free styling. I would say I’m putting in the work I have to put in to really be able to really fill shoes that are almost impossible to fill. I don’t think that a man could ever fill the shoes that a mother fills. So, knowing that I’m trying to step into my mommy-daddy role and also accept help. I’m accepting help from her friends who were very close to her. And like I said, back to the last question about unconventional family, she said to me, ‘You basically started a tribe and you’re the leader of that tribe so you better start acting like it.’ So the tribe is really coming together. So I would have to say that I’m learning day by day and I’m in search of the knowledge. Because I’m listening, they’re actually teaching me how to become the best partner that I can be. Diddy on his plans for this upcoming Mother’s Day, without Kim…  The truth is Mother’s Day is going to hurt. We definitely going to celebrate you know all the mothers. We’re not going to get in the way of that. But you know, honestly, anybody that’s lost a mother, lost a soulmate, it takes time. It takes time. They say time heals all wounds but when it comes to your mother, I don’t think that’s the case. And that’s not a negative thing. Because as people we need wounds. Just like when you don’t listen to your mother and you get out of pocket, you need something to sting you sometimes, forever and to keep you on point. And teach you a lesson.  [Through tears] You know…I don’t know what Ima do. Ima figure something out though. This hurts so much. I know that people want to hear the good stuff. But I know it’s going to happen. But it hurts. Aint no way around that. Anything else wouldn’t be the truth. I’m trying to do the interview the way I know—but I don’t know if I can like—you got to help me to have a happy ending. I wanted to do it because I wanted to let everybody know just how special all the mothers are. I don’t think anybody could ever understand what it is to be a Black mother. I think we have the strongest beings. When it comes to the category of who’s the strongest beings on the face of the earth, it would have to be Black mothers, yeah. . @Diddy hadn’t planned to be this emotionally vulnerable, but he ultimately agreed to release audio of his interview with friend @DreamHampton from the May issue of ESSENCE. He felt that the potential impact on culture weighed more heavily than his fears. https://t.co/HRj5xtCyOz pic.twitter.com/EsQL09hhSP — ESSENCE (@Essence) May 9, 2019 To read the words and to hear him share them audibly are two totally different experiences. Prince Harry Admits to Missing Late Mother While Celebrating Royal Birth

Fans of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are still getting over the joyful announcement of the royal baby name . But Harry is back to work, and holding earnest conversations with people even as he beams with pride as a new father. The prince has also spoken of how he misses his mother, the late great Princess Diana. A veteran by the name of Dennis van der Stroon spoke to Prince Harry on Thursday during the new father’s trip to the Netherlands. Van der Stroon then spoke to Hello! about the exchange, in which they reflected upon both fatherhood and loss. “Harry talked about how having a small child was his new focus and new goal,” van der Stroon reveals. He recalls: “and I told him how a couple of months ago, I was struggling with my mental health.” “But,” van der Stroon told the prince. “My wife’s pregnancy has given me a goal.” Like Prince Harry, van der Stroon lost his mother when he was young and is also about to become a father. “Above all,” he comments. “He said he was just amazed by the miracles in the world.” It sounds like he’s very pumped up by being a new father. And he knows that he’s not the only one. van der Stroon adds: “and how his child has made a lot of people happy.” That is certainly true. “He also told me he’s really happy that his son is so far very quiet,” van der Stroon shares. Hey, that’s something that we didn’t know about baby Archie. “But,” he continues. “He also told me not to make too many plans.” Ban der Stroon explains: “and that there’s no way you can plan for when the baby arrives.” That is absolutely true. “I told Harry about my mother,” van der Stroon shares, noting that they could relate to each other. It has been more than 20 years since Princess Diana’s tragic death. “And,” he reveals. “We talked about our shared experience of missing a mum.” That is heartbreaking for both of them. “He said missing a mother is like missing some kind of security,” van der Stroon expresses. Van der Stroon says that Harry spoke of “how you need that [security] as a son and it falls away when you lose your mother.” He and his brother were then under a spotlight as never before while they mourned, which only compounded the trauma. “He said he meets a lot of people in his work who have lost a mother, father, sister, brother, or relatives,” van der Stroon shares. Prince Harry is known for his charity work, following in his late mother’s footsteps. “And when he hears their story, as he heard my story,” van der Stroon concludes. “He said he doesn’t feel so alone.” Harry and Meghan shared their happy news earlier this week. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce they have named their first born child: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor,” they shared on Instagram. “This afternoon,” the statement read. “Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle.” “The Duke of Edinburgh and the duchess’ mother were also present for this special occasion,” the post added. As Harry told van der Stroon, the birth of baby Archie has brought joy to a lot of people who feel invested in Harry and Meghan. Waller County DA Not Aware Of “New Evidence” To Re-Open Sandra Bland Case

Source: Pacific Press / Getty Despite newly surfaced video evidence from  Sandra Bland ‘s point of view during her ill-fated 2015 arrest, Waller County District Attorney Elton Mathis has no desire to re-open her case. “Five special prosecutors were appointed to consider the evidence. The grand jury was diligent and considering the facts and circumstances considering the arrest and her subsequent death of Ms. Bland. I have no knowledge at this time of new evidence to second guess the work of those five prosecutors or the grand jury.” The video, cellphone footage from Bland’s phone on the day of the July 2015 arrest was released to the public after being obtained by WFAA. Her sister demanded that her case be re-opened in light of the evidence surfacing. “Open up the case, period,” Bland’s sister Shante Needham said when reporter Brian Collister showed her the video. On Tuesday, investigators and special prosecutor Darrell Jordan pushed back on that notion, saying Bland’s cellphone video was considered during the original investigation. The lawyer for Brian Encinia, the arresting officer in the case said that Bland’s cellphone was given back to her family years ago. “It was part of the evidence that was considered since day one,” Encinia’s attorney Chip Lewis said. “It actually goes towards the defense I put forth that he did what he was required to do under the law and his training which was remove her from the potential threat.” Encinia was indicted for perjury. However, the charge was dropped in exchange for him never working in law enforcement again. Texas DPS also released a statement about Bland’s cellphone video: “The cellphone recording is referenced by Ms. Bland in the dash cam video that was released by the department on July 22, 2015. The video recording from Ms. Bland’s cellphone was specifically identified multiple times in the Ranger Report of Investigation. The Ranger report was made available to all the litigants during the civil litigation filed by her family. At all times, the department complied with its discovery obligations in the civil litigation. “Additionally, the video from Ms. Bland’s cellphone has been treated as public information and made available upon request (see attached). Brian Collister, the reporter who describes the video as “newly discovered,” filed a public information request back in August 2017. Mr. Collister specifically requested the video from Ms. Bland’s cellphone, and the department provided the video to Mr. Collister at that time. Again, we reiterate that the video is not newly discovered and has in no way been concealed by the department.” RELATED:  Sandra Bland Secretly Recorded 2015 Traffic Stop With Overly Aggressive Officer RELATED:  Sandra Bland HBO Documentary Releases First Clip Ahead Of Premiere RELATED:  Sandra Bland Museum Exhibit Is Latest To Use Art To Honor Police Deaths Of Unarmed Black People

112’s Slim Sues Ex Band Mates Q & Deron For False Advertising For Profiting Off Of Group’s Name (Exclusive)

Source: Paras Griffin / Getty “112s” Slim Said Ex-Band Members Have No Right To Use Group’s Name To Make Music & Perform They once had a double platinum debut album, worked with hip hop royalty like the Notorious BIG and were the toast of the Atlanta club scene. But the current situation among the former band members of the 90s group 112 is now so fractious following their 2017 breakup that lead singer Slim has sued his fellow crooners for allegedly dishonestly cashing in on the group’s moniker. That’s according to a lawsuit from Slim’s company, M3 Productions Inc., which sued both Deron and Q for trademark infringement, false advertising, deceptive trade practices and more, claiming the men were using the name “112” to make music, book appearances and perform when Slim owns the rights through the Federal Trademark Office, according to the complaint, which was obtained by BOSSIP. “It breaks my heart to have to engage in a lengthy, costly legal battle against the former members of the group,” Slim told BOSSIP exclusively. “However, countless promoters and agencies have notified us that Q and Daron, and their handlers, keep advertising the ‘112’ Name, despite knowing we own the mark and have humbly asked them to stop using it.” Source: Gilbert Carrasquillo / Getty Slim’s lawyer James Walker said the situation was as if The Jackson Five’s Tito and Jackie Jackson tried to run off and do shows without lead singer Michael. Q “doesn’t seem to understand that he was the Tito of the group and Slim is the lead singer and owner of the mark – so move on with your career and respect the law and respect (Slim) as the owner,” Walker told BOSSIP. “We should not be in court, but for the continued false advertising, breach, infringement and bad faith of the defendants in using this mark on their advertisements.” Slim said in court papers that Q and Deron are well aware that he owns the trademark, and despite Walker sending them a cease and desist letter, the men still continue to book work under the name “112.” He said that his former bandmates use of the name “112” has caused confusion among fans, who wrongly assume that their work is actually associated with the real “112,” causing Slim irreparable harm. Slim wants the judge to force Q and Deron to stop using “112” when they perform shows, make music or attend paid appearances, his complaint states. He also wants a full accounting of the revenues Deron and Q made by using “112” as well as money damages. Source: Johnny Louis / Getty Neither Q nor Deron had responded to Slim’s complaint as of May 6, but Q may not have responded because he just filed for bankruptcy, according to court papers obtained by BOSSIP. Walker, Slim’s lawyer, said neither he nor his client wished any financial hardships on Q, but said that he hopes the bankruptcy will mean that Q will be willing to meet with them and settle their dispute. “He would not be filing this (bankruptcy), had his advisors met with us and listened,” Walker told BOSSIP. “We pray that part works out, but we will move aggressively in the litigation to protect Mr. Scandrick (“Slim”).”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Unfollow Kate and William on Instagram! GASP!

We’ve been hearing rumors about the rivalry for months and months. Meghan Markle hates Kate Middleton! Prince Harry hates Prince William! Prince William is having an affair with Rose Hanbury ! Okay, that last one isn’t relevant to the story down below… it just seems constantly relevant to anything Royal Family related these days. Overall, there has seemingly been tension for nearly a year between Markle, Harry, Kate and William, often referred to as The Core Royal Four, at least around our offices here at The Hollywood Gossip. Markle and Harry have even moved out of London, presumably to get far away from their annoying foes. And chatter has it that they may move even farther away at some point down the line. Like, all the way to Africa . Has this feud been blown out of proportion? Perhaps. But fans are now causing quite a viral uproar because Markle and Harry just unfollowed Kate and William on Instagram. Holy crap, right?!? Actually, no. Wrong. Back in April, Markle and Harry joined this social media platform via their very own “SussexRoyal” account. At the time, the future mom and dad followed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as other family members, including Princess Eugenie. However, this page suddenly only follows 16 other Instagram users, causing many global citizens to wonder what the heck is going on. It must be a sign of a major issue between the aforementioned Royal Quartet, doesn’t it? Again: No. It’s a sign of something admirable and impressive. Explains Meghan and Harry of why their Instagram account looks different today than it did yesterday: “May is Mental Health Awareness Month in the US and May 13-19 is Mental Health Awareness Week in the UK. “To pay tribute to all of the incredible work people across the globe are doing in this space, we are hoping to shine a light on several Instagram accounts that promote mental well-being, mental fitness, body positivity, self-care, and the importance of human connection – to not just hear each other, but to listen.”  Oh. So the 16 accounts they’re following right now are in some way related to mental health? That’s pretty awesome. “We are all in this together,” the couple assured. “We invite you to explore the extraordinary stories of strength, and the commitment to kindness as seen in the above accounts.” This actually could be an issue that brings Markle and Middleton together, helping them bury whatever hatchet has been sitting between them. Kate, as you may very well know, has long been an advocate of mental health assistance , giving many speeches on the topic. As for Markle and Harry, it sounds as if they plan to use their social media for the greater good on a constant basis. This may mean a small number of Royal Baby photos once their little girl or boy is born — but a large number of organizations helped around the world. “Each month we will honor this same concept and change the accounts we solely follow based on a different theme or cause,” they added today in a statement. “Please go to our homepage and click ‘following’ to see each of the select accounts and find out more about their work.” The SussexRoyal account has over 5.4 million followers. It really is very cool that Meghan and Harry plan to use the account in this manner, don’t you agree? One might say it sets a great example for their baby-to-be, as here’s a look at their latest Instagram post: Markle is due to give birth any day now. She is officially on maternity leave and not making any public appearances. While pretty much everyone with a pulse is wondering what the couple will name its child , we’re just hoping that Markle has a safe delivery and a healthy baby. We’re also hoping all those trolls out there finally leave her alone once she’s a mother. Hasn’t this Duchess suffered enough already?!? View Slideshow: Meghan Markle: Is She FAKING Her Pregnancy?!?

Teen Producer Sues French Montana For Stealing Beat For “Ain’t Worried About Nothin’” (Exclusive)

Source: Allen Berezovsky / Getty Producer Said French Montana Coopted His Beat For Rapper’s Hit Song An Illinois producer claims that French Montana straight up stole his beat and used it for the song “Ain’t Worried About Nothin’” when he was still a teenager. Eddie Lee Richardson aka “Hotwire The Producer,” sued French Montana for copyright infringement and more earlier this month, alleging the rapper used his work without permission or payment. Richardson said back in 2012 when he was just 16, he made a song called “Hood Pushin’ Weight,” and registered the song with the U.S. Copyright Office. He said he uploaded the song to site SoundClick, a music sharing website and distribution platform. The plaintiff said French then took the song from the site, and the following year, released “Ain’t Worried About Nothin.’” He said the songs were identical, save for the lyrics and vocals. The producer believes French banked more than $5 million from the song, and he wants money damages that equal the amount of profit grossed from the single. It’s not the first time that French Montana has been in hot water over accusations that he stole music. We exclusively revealed that another producer sued him for the very same thing. In 2017 Morocco-born producer Assil Youssef sued him for using his beat for “Lockjaw” (featuring Kodak Black) without his permission. That case was later dismissed.

RHOA Reunion: Did NeNe Not So Subtly Announce That She’ll Soon Divorce Gregg?

Source: David Livingston/Getty Images / Getty Were YOU watching??? NeNe And Gregg Talk Possible Divorce On RHOA Season 11 Reunion Part two of Bravo’s “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” reunion was a bit anticlimactic compared to the first but it still shone a light on someone’s marriage problems. It’s no secret that NeNe and Gregg’s marriage has hit a rough patch as Gregg continues to battle stage 3 colon cancer. And on Sunday, the couple told Andy that they’re sleeping in separate bedrooms and seeing a counselor. Andy also asked Gregg how he felt about NeNe revealing that he was previously unfaithful. Andy: “Do you wish that she had not revealed that you had cheated?” Gregg: “That was so long ago that that really just didn’t have any weight, the hurt from that got removed from me a long time ago.” Andy: “Maybe it didn’t get removed from you (NeNe)?” NeNe: “Maybe.” According to NeNe, 51, she’s still unsure if she wants to save the union she shares with Gregg, 63, who’s apparently been “mean and nasty” while she works as his caretaker. “I can’t tell you anything that I’m going to do,” said NeNe. I feel like I have been pushed up against a wall and I’m coming out as ‘no.’ … Anything is possible, we just have to see.” The Leakes married in 1997, divorced in 2011 and remarried on that “I Dream Of NeNe” Bravo special in 2013. IRS Says Ja Rule Owes $2 Million In Back Taxes (Exclusive)

Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty The IRS Says Ja Rule Hasn’t Paid Taxes In Years Ja Rule is facing some bad news from the IRS on this tax day. The Murda Ink rapper turned Fyre Festival promoter has been left on the look for more than $2 million in back federal taxes on liens stretching back more than 10 years, BOSSIP has learned. The IRS issued Ja’s latest lien late last month for $443,442 for income he earned in 2016 – some of it likely coming from his work behind the failed Fyre Festival. But on March 4, the IRS issued a separate updated lien for back taxes from 2005 through 2008: $830,717 for 2005, $353,536 for 2006, $231,775 for 2007 and $172,282 for 2008. In total, the IRS says Ja owes $2,031,753, according to the new liens. His wife, Aisha, is also named on the liens, which were obtained by BOSSIP. It’s not the first time that Ja Rule has struggled with paying back taxes. We exclusively revealed that the feds accused him of owing $363,269 for income he earned in 2014 and 2015. Uncle Sam doesn’t play around when it comes to collecting taxes, and Ja is well aware of this. In 2011, a judge sentenced him to 28 months in federal prison after he pled guilty to tax evasion for failing to pay taxes on $3 million in income. Ja Rule hadn’t responded to the liens as of April 15, according to public records.
