With all the talk of the current president’s rampant sexism , it’s easy to forget that 45 is plenty of company when it comes to abusive, misogynistic commanders-in-chief. We’ve had a handful of sex-scandal-free administrations, but if you’re well-versed in White House history, then you’re well aware that a sizable percentage of US presidents cheated on their wives (including 50 percent of all Roosevelts!) or otherwise behaved boorishly toward women. Bill Clinton, of course, is one of the most famous examples of this phenomenon. Clinton famously tried to hook up with anything with a pair of X chromosomes over the course of his political career. In today’s political environment, it’s tough to imagine Bill would’ve been able to secure the Democratic nomination much less be elected to the White House, but for some reason, whenever he turned on the Slick Willy charm and busted out a smooth sax solo, the 1992 public just melted. One would think that Clinton would keep a relatively low profile in the wake of the #MeToo movement as conduct that was frowned upon then is looked at much more dimly now. But Bill possesses the hubris of a character in Greek mythology whose fatal flaw is a tragic level of horniness. Because he apparently feels that the shelves of our nation’s airport bookstores are tragically under-stocked, Clinton recently released a political thriller with the help of James Patterson, king of the raised-lettering paperback cover. The novel is called The President Is Missing — a title that no doubt has many Americans wishing it was a work of non-fiction — but based on Clinton’s tone-deaf promotional tour, a more apt name might be The Ex-President Has Lost His Effing Mind . In one appalling interview, Clinton insisted that he does not owe Monica Lewinsky an apology. He then attempted to play the sympathy card, whining that he racked up millions in legal defense fees as a result of his sexual escapades. Not surprisingly, several of the women that Clinton had questionable relations with have taken issue with his claims of innocence. One such victim is Gennifer Flowers , a former actress and television reporter who came forward during Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign to claim that she had carried on a 12-year affair with the then-Arkansas governor. Last night, Flowers sat for an interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham and revealed that Clinton savagely harassed her prior to the start of their relationship: “Well, it’s very interesting because back in 1977 when I met Bill, we didn’t have the laws to protect us,” Flowers told Ingraham. “When I first met Bill Clinton, it was when I was sent out on my first story by myself after my training with my cameraman. He came out on to me that night. ” Flowers said she initially rebuffed Clinton’s advances, but he refused to let her be: “I told him to knock it off. He proceeded to continue to come onto me for three months before I decided that I wanted to have a relationship with him, which at that point was consensual,” she stated. “But in today’s standards, and in hindsight, it was definitely sexual harassment. I was a little bit ashamed to admit that because in a way, I mean, I felt guilty because I was a willing participant, at a point. “So I felt guilty about saying that I was sexually harassed in the beginning. But it definitely was, absolutely.” Flowers burst into laughter when told that Clinton considers himself a supporter of the #MeToo movement: “He would say that of course, what would he say but he’s in support of it? He’s a huge abuser of the Me Too movement,” she said before listing several other women with whom Clinton had extramarital affairs: “And I would like for the Me Too movement to be so kind and recognize myself and Paula (Jones) and Juanita and Kathleen (Willey) and many, many other women starting many years ago that have come out with claims of sexual harassment from Bill Clinton. “They haven’t given us any respect as far as I’m concerned. We all know that there are sick people in this world … but why are so many of them so-called pillars of the community? Well, one anonymous “Poo Jogger” was horrifying an Australian neighborhood with his excrement . But he has now been exposed. His reign of terror has come to an end. Last Septamber, a female “Mad Pooper” was terrorizing Colorado Springs . But she’s not one of a kind. Brisbane’s Poo Jogger has been leaving his (fortunately delible) mark on a Greenslopes apartment block. This has been going on for months. It is believed that he has struck at least 30 times. But this villain’s campaign of olfactory and psychological torment came to an end. It seems that he never expected that one of his victims would be proactive enough to lie in wait with a camera at the ready. After Steve Smith followed the sightings of human feces enough to get a good grasp of the Poo Jogger’s route and schedule, he hid, waiting to expose the miscreant responsible. Was it some disaffected youth? Some impoverished man with few options? An oversized dog who also leaves toilet paper at the scene? The Poo Jogger has been identified as Brisbane resident Andrew Douglas Macintosh. He is 64 years old. Macintosh is the national quality manager at a major Australian retirement community company. He also happens to be a member of the Brisbane City Council board. So, just like on virtually every episode of Scooby Doo , the unidentified culprit striking fear into the hearts of the innocent was just some rich guy. As you can imagine, Twitter had a field day. While Macintosh has resigned from the company at which he works — for obvious reasons — it seems unlikely that he will face real consequences. Queensland police only charged him with a single count of “public nuisance.” A bit of a surprise, considering that he is accused of having “nuisanced” in this neighborhood at least 30 times. Additionally, his attorneys are reportedly negotiating this down to a fine rather than a criminal charge. So, like we said, no real consequences for someone doing the unthinkable. Though perhaps he’ll face some social reprisals, at least. Hard to be a pillar of the community when you’re infamous for leaving pillars around a community. Queensland police made a frankly incredible statement, saying: “Just before 5pm on 11th May, the man attended a unit complex on Logan road and did a poo.” Police note that there were signs of premeditation. “He did have toilet paper on him though. At least he made sure his bum was clean, if not the surrounding area.” You know, there are plenty of people in this world who can’t bring themselves to even use a friend’s bathroom — let alone a stall in some public restroom. So we question how a person could physically make themselves defecated in open areas in a neighborhood near people’s homes. Not to mention the more pressing quesiton of why . This world is full of worse things than any of us would care to imagine. But they do make for some entertaining headlines sometimes.

Earlier today, the world learned Joy-Anna Duggar has welcomed her first child , a boy named Gideon. Fans were mostly congratulatory in their response to the news, but perhaps inevitably, a scandal that the Duggars would prefer to forget about reared its ugly head in the wake of the announcement. As you may recall, when Joy first announced that she was expecting her first child, many questioned her claims about her date of conception. Joy claimed that she got pregnant during her honeymoon, but fans had their doubts. Rumors of a ” shotgun wedding ” were everywhere during Joy’s pregnancy, and many believed the truth would come out when the child arrived. But now, little Gideon has entered the world, and the debate rages on: Did Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth violate her family’s strict courtship rules ? As you probably know, Duggars are permitted virtually zero physical contact with the opposite sex prior to marriage. At this point, Jim Bob and Michelle are almost as well-known for their hard-line stance against premarital sex as for the massive size of their brood. Duggars who have yet to say “I do” are not allowed to kiss, be alone together, or hold hands for more than a few seconds. Needless to say, the family’s wholesome reputation would take quite a hit if it turned out that Joy and Austin went so far beyond the guidelines as to sire a child before their wedding. So while the idea of Joy-Anna lying about the date of her conception may sound absurd, it’s not hard to see why she might be motivated to do so. Conspiracy theorists were convinced that Joy’s lie would be exposed when her baby arrived well ahead of schedule. Tabloids went so far as to consult with doctors, many of whom examined photos and concluded that Joy was further along than she claimed to be. And yet, today, little Gideon entered the world 39 weeks after his parents were married. Which means in all likelihood, Joy got pregnant in late May or early June of 2016. Her wedding was held on May 26. So why aren’t the Duggars doing an online victory lap today? Well, there are several reasons for that. The first, and most obvious is that it would be coarse and crass to use the birth of a child as a “told you so moment.” They deserve credit for taking the high road in not doing so. On top of that, the family policy toward gossip is simply not to address it publicly. Whether the news is good, bad, or neutral, if the announcement didn’t come directly from the Duggars, it’s a safe bet the Duggars won’t talk about it. The third reason why you’ll likely never hear a word from the Duggars on the issue of Joy’s conception date is simple: According to those who know them best, the Duggars simply want this mess to go away. The fact remains that Joy-Anna and Austin did confess to breaking courtship rules , and Joy-Anna giving birth near her due date doesn’t definitively prove that she didn’t get pregnant a few days earlier than she would have us believe. Despite all of that, the Duggars are no doubt conscious of the fact that they scored a minor victory over their detractors today, But they’re probably also aware that to gloat would be to tempt their critics to do some digging.
