Accused of bribing a witness by Mel Gibson’s legal team, Oksana Grigorieva says she couldn’t bribe anybody if she wanted too … she couldn’t pay for it. Oksana has categorically denied the claim alleged by Mel’s attorneys ( via Radar Online ) that she tried to bribe a witness in her legal battle with Gibson. Said her spokesman: “The suggestion is false. She never bribed anyone. She understands the law and has excellent counsel. Besides, she is broke.” We wouldn’t put it past her, but she does have a point . Yesterday, we reported how lawyers for Gibson, who has alleged that Oksana tried to extort him, plan to present evidence that she tried to bribe a witness. The individual, whose identity is not yet known, is somehow relevant in both the criminal and family law probes that are ongoing in the couple’s skirmish. Mel also charges that Oksana is malicious and not acting in the best interests of their one-year-old daughter, and should therefore lose custody ASAP.
