Little Girl Learns She’s Going to Be a Big Sister

This is about as cute as it gets. A video making the online rounds this week reveals a special moment for a young family. When it came time to tell their daughter that they’re expecting another baby, the parents used a t-shirt reading “I’m the Big Sister” to share the joyous news. It takes awhile to get the message across, and thus the video goes on for several minutes. When she figures it out, though, the precious reaction is worth the wait: Little Girl Learns Baby News

Fun. Go Big, Beautiful In New ‘We Are Young’ Video

Eye-catching clip leads up to the release of their Some Nights album and serves notice Fun. may be the breakout band of 2012. By James Montgomery Nate Ruess in the “We Are Young” music video Photo: Fueled By Ramen The first must-see music video of 2012 has already been preceded by both an artful perils-of-peeling teaser and a stirring, acoustic vid seemingly shot adjacent to a bank vault. Oh, and a performance by the “Glee” cast too. The official, real-deal version of Fun.’s “We Are Young” video premiered Monday on MTV.com, and I mention all the lead-up not just because it was rather unprecedented (especially for a band this green; they’ve released just one studio album to date), but because, rarely, if ever, does the final product live up to the advanced hype. Except this time, it does. The latest — and, one can assume, last — version of “Young” is a gorgeous, gasp-inducing thing, a swirling, slow-motion snow globe of imagery that gradually envelops the band (and guest vocalist Janelle Mon

On Wednesday, November 23rd my friend and I woke up at 3am to…

On Wednesday, November 23rd my friend and I woke up at 3am to get ready to go to NYC for the Today Show. We caught a 5am train and got there at 5:50am. When we got to the Today Show it was packed, so we quickly went to The View. We were the 2nd ones there to wait for Justin. More and more people started to come and we kept waiting. People started to arrive like the people on The View and they were saying, “Justin’s coming! Justin’s coming!”, along with random people from DWTS. As we were waiting, a girl recognized me from this website where I had my first Bieber experience last year! ( Read here ) My mom over heard her telling her mom and when my mom told her I was her daughter, the girl asked her to bring her over to me. I was in like complete shock that someone knew it was me since I looked so different from then. After that, 6 SUV’s pulled in. The first one was random people we didn’t know, the second was Usher, the third was Scooter and Carin, the 4th was Justin and Pattie, and the last two were the crew members. All of us were so mad cause they didn’t roll down their windows, they just waved and smiled so we were like what the hell! After that, Rob Kardashian pulled in and that made us all scream. All of us got on Twitter and started tweeting them about how sad we were and Scrappy tweeted, “Apparently all the beliebers are outside. Will try and come say hi after we perform. ” That just got us all excited. We waited until 11:30am and then we heard screams and when we looked, Justin and Kenny were walking towards us. The side I was on screamed louder then the over side, so Justin came over to us first and he was smiling so big! My friend and I called out to him and he held our hands, smiled at us then winked . I looked over at Kenny and he was looking around smiling and kinda looked lost in his own world. I was like “Kenny!” and he looked at me and waved. Then he went to the other side and then after a couple minutes came back over to us, then left. As they were pulling out, we all thought it would be funny to just chase after them so we ran a block and the people I met, my friend, and I just stopped while the others kept going. It was worth the wait even though Justin didn’t take pictures with people. I met so many new people and had a great time. -@ImKristieBieber  View post: On Wednesday, November 23rd my friend and I woke up at 3am to…

Britney Spears’ Tenth ‘Hold It Against Me’ Preview Packed With Technology

Beauty shots of television monitors marks four more days until video premiere. By Mawuse Ziegbe Photo: Jive There are just four more days until Britney Spears ‘ “Hold It Against Me” premieres, and the pop supernova continues to keep the suspense high. After doling out super-short snippets of the visual to her latest dance floor-filler for over a week, the preview she gifted fans on Sunday (February 13), doesn’t feature a flash of her toned legs, or a scene where she and her dancers prepare to bust out some heart-racing choreography, but her presence is felt. In the tenth, slickly produced teaser, a lofty chamber dotted with monitors looping many of her old videos takes center stage, as the bass from her insta-smash throbs in the background. The seconds-long teasers will culminate in the premiere of the entire video, which goes down on MTV on Thursday at 9:56 p.m. ET, just before a brand new episode of “Jersey Shore.” The video, which is the first single from her upcoming Femme Fatale LP, will also simultaneously premiere on MTV.com. According to the video’s choreographer, enduring days of teasers will be worth the wait. Dancer Brian Friedman recently assured MTV News that Spears is “definitely setting the bar” with “Hold It Against Me.” “She’s showing that you have to push it as an artist: that you can’t just settle, that you can’t be calm with your choreography, that you have to make a statement,” he said. “There’s so many people out there competing in this world to be the queen of pop, and she’s definitely claiming her throne.” Even with a top-flight track record of memorable clips, Friedman maintained that “Hold It Against Me” will be game-changing. “Artistically, this video I think surpasses a lot of her other videos,” he teased. “So many of her videos are iconic, though. You look at ‘Toxic’ and you look at ‘Slave,’ even ‘Oops … I Did It Again’: People are gonna remember those videos forever. [In] ‘… Baby One More Time,’ she made school-girl outfits relevant and so popular. This video is artistically a masterpiece, and I don’t think that Britney has pushed the envelope in this way ever in any of her videos.” What do you think the rest of Britney’s video will look like? Bassist Tony Kanal promises an ‘even bigger’ tour than 2009 trek. By James Dinh No Doubt (file) Photo: Jason Squires/ Getty Images It’s been nine years since No Doubt released their last studio album, and it’s been a while since we’ve heard news on the follow-up to 2001’s Rock Steady, but bassist Tony Kanal assured fans that the group is steadily working on their new album and conjuring up a big tour. “I swear, we’re having more fun than we’ve ever had writing a record before,” Kanal told Billboard.com of their recording process earlier this week. “I think [because] it’s been a while, but also because we’re older … the fact that we’re still doing it together after 24 years — you know, working on music — I think we really appreciate that.” While the soon-to-be father admitted that they are still in the writing phase of the project, he did assure fans that their comeback will be worth the wait, as they’ll take their new material on the road. “I think it’ll be even bigger, and when I say bigger, I mean more shows and around the world,” he revealed. During the summer of 2009, No Doubt reunited for a tour alongside Paramore. Additional acts, including the Sounds, Janelle Mon
