Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth may have made passionate love for many years as a steady and strong couple. But the stars are no longer making nice. Not a few days after the announcement of their shocking split , not after conflicting reports have emerged in regard to where this long-term relationship went so tragically wrong. This past Saturday evening, a rep for the singer issued the usual sort of confirmation one makes after one’s client ends a serious romance. “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” this rep told People Magazine, adding at the time: “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. “Please respect their process and privacy.” LOL over this last part, right? At almost the same time this announcement was made, photos of Miley kissing Kaitlynn Carter in Italy emerged. She’s the ex-wife of reality star Brody Jenner and, yes, she’s a woman. Did Cyrus actually cheat on Hemsworth ? Was there trouble in married paradise long before this same-sex lip-lock? Was Miley just sick of boning Liam every night ? As you might expect, many questions have been floating around the Internet in regard to this split, with TMZ now reporting that things have turned VERY ugly between the exes. The accusations are just flying back and forth. THIS IS WHAT MILEY’S SIDE IS ALLEGING: The singer did all she could to save the marriage. She encouraged couple’s therapy and she was willing to work on the failing aspects of the relationship — but Hemsworth was drinking a ton and using various drugs. Especially due to her own history of substance abuse, Cyrus wanted no part of any of this. So there’s that. THIS IS WHAT LIAM’S SIDE IS ALLEGING: All those charges listed above are total and complete malarkey. What really transpired here? Miley cheated with Carter. “This is another attempt by Miley to distract from her infidelity and recent outrageous public behavior,” an insider close to Hemsworth tells TMZ, further muddying the waters of this break-up. The couple got married in December after dating on and off for about 10 years. Cyrus, however, recently gave an interview in which she bristled over the term wife and made it clear she is still very attracted to women. To be clear, neither Miley nor Liam has leveled any of the accusations described here. These all came from anonymous sources. Earlier this week, both celebrities issues vague/profound/amicable statements of their own in response to the split, starting with this from Cyrus: Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win.
