The embattled singer is facing two counts of engaging in prostitution with an individual under 18 years old and offering to hire for sexual purposes a person under 18. The events allegedly took place with an underage girl in Minneapolis in July 2001. During a news conference on Monday, State Attorney Mike Freeman said the alleged victim approached Kelly for an autograph and claims that the 52-year-old singer paid her $200 to get naked and engage in sexual acts at his Minneapolis hotel. Kelly’s attorney, Steve Greenberg calls the latest charges “absurd.” Re: New charges @RKelly give me a break. This is beyond absurd — Steve Greenberg (@SGcrimlaw) August 5, 2019 Freeman said that there was no sexual intercourse between Kelly and the underage girl, but there was “sexual contact.” He also admitted that the case will be difficult to prosecute, given that the evidence dates back nearly 20 years. The news follows a month in and out of courts for Kelly. He was charged with 18 counts of sexual misconduct and other charges in Chicago and New York and pled not guilty to five federal criminal charges including kidnapping and racketeering. Buzz Feed is reporting that Clauvino da Silva dressed up as his 19 year old daughter in an effort to free himself from the big house. In what is probably the most brazen but ingenious plan of any prisoner of this generation, Silva went to great lengths to ensure his costume was up to snuff. According to Rio de Janeiro’s state secretary of prison administration he not only donned a wig and glasses but also a silicone mask. Yes silicone. The plot was framed around his daughter’s visit where he intended to switch places with her and walk out of the correctional facility. His plan fell apart though when guards noticed the teen was behaving nervously. He was promptly put in a holding room where authorities questioned him and got him to confess. Silva is reportedly a member of the Red Command; a notorious and powerful crime syndicate in Brazil. He now faces disciplinary sanctions that will be added to his current 73-year sentence for drug trafficking . Video of the get up below. Wendy Williams hasn’t always been the most sympathetic public figure, but you really feel for her as she fights back tears about her divorce . Even without the collapse of her marriage, Wendy has had a busy, stressful, nightmare of a year. In fact, she’d be the very first to tell you that filming the latest season of her show has been “hell.” Thursday’s episode of The Wendy Williams Show was the season 10 finale. “This season has been, well, hell for me, in a weird way,” Wendy confessed to her fans and viewers. “I appreciate doing this show,” she quickly assured them all. Wendy continued, saying that she loves her job “because it’s my one hour where I get to be fun.” “And,” she added. “Forget about stuff.” Wendy is the first to acknowledge that she’s been through the wringer. “You’ve seen me pass out this season,” Wendy reminded her audience. She added that “you’ve read [about me] in tabloids and the paparazzi and all that.” Usually, Wendy has a larger role in discussing entertainment news. In recent months, she’s been entertainment news. “But through it all, my one joy — aside from my son and my family — is you,” Wendy gushed to her audience. “I’m not doing this show forever,” Wendy acknowledged. “But I certainly will be back for season 11.” “A lot of people didn’t think we could do it,” she admitted. “But we did it!” And though she and the entire crew and staff of the show are on hiatus, we actually won’t have to wait too long before Wendy is back on TV. New episodes will begin to air, Wendy reveals, on “September 16.” “I love you for watching,” Wendy expressed. “And I’ll see you next time on Wendy .” Wendy really has been through so much, including an extended hiatus early this year. And Graves diseases is not the only health problem that she has faced this year. Months ago, she lived in a sober house to combat her struggles with addiction. On top of everything else, Wendy has been divorcing her cheating husband, Kevin Hunter — and reports say that it has gotten downright ugly at times. At one point, a report said that Wendy’s teen son got into a physical fight with Kevin, possibly over his stance in the divorce. It is possible that Wendy will spend her hiatus trying to double down on addressing her various woes. Divorce battles can take a lot out of you, even if you have Wendy’s kind of money — the kind that buys you a first-rate legal team. After all, divorce isn’t just about money and assets — it’s about feelings. Lots of complicated and very hurt feelings. (She and Kevin were married for more than 20 years!) it’s also possible that Wendy will do her best to distance her mind and feelings from the divorce during this time and just work on being happy as herself. After two mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio left dozens of people dead , no. 45 addressed the nation, calling the shootings “evil attacks” and crimes “against all humanity.” Trump — yes, TRUMP — said that our country needed to come together to “condemn racism, bigotry, and white supremacy.” Not for a second did any of us think Trump ACTUALLY cared, but his lack of concern was cemented when he sent condolences to the wrong city. “May God bless the memory of those who perished in Toledo, and may God protect them,” he said.
