While appearing on Harrison Sanford’s the Green Room podcast, Green detailed what went down. He was in Vancouver for a basketball camp when he checked into a suspect Airbnb pad that he described as looking “haunted.” This is where we point out that Green makes millions of dollars so we’re guessing he could have afforded a proper hotel. But anyway… While Green and his homie went in to check out the rental, which they said look shabbier than the photos, they left two bags in the car. When they came back downstairs, the bags were gone. “We were there 10 minutes … we go back outside, and pretty much—not robbed of everything—but two book bags gone,” said Green. “We lost electronics, computers, laptops, some camp registry money, stuff like that.” Danny Green’s knowledge about hoods explains why he was a mark. The rapper and YG affiliate posted a photo via Instagram in recovery, thanking the hospital staff and also clowning his assailants by joking that they copped their bullets from Wal-Mart. “I wanna thank the staff at the hospital for helpin me shake back I owe y’all #Roscoes or #TacoMell 4 life & God I thank whoeva was poppin 4 buyn them shells at walmart I’m here 4 a reason Hol’Upppp,” Slim wrote in the caption of the flick. Source: Columbia Police Department / Columbia Police Department Apparently the Simmons DNA runs long in the south. A man who resembles Darkman X is on the run for some gunplay. South Carolina police are looking for a man who bears a very strong resemblance to rapper DMX . So much so that the lawmen had to clear the MC’s name after a sketch of the culprit was released. The department stated the drawing was completed “with the assistance of a crime witness” who said that the gunman looked just like the Yonkers native. Columbia Police Department Deputy Chief Melron Kelly detailed the process that led to the doppleganger. ”We always let the witness dictate the process and how everything unfolds,” he explained. “We make sure the witness sees everything we do and is comfortable with whatever rendering that we make.” He went on to confirm that DMX is not a suspect in case. “I guarantee you he’s not,” Kelly said. The official police report states that “on June 19, 2019, CPD officers were initially dispatched to the 4400 block of Blossom Street. Upon arrival, they located the 27-year-old male victim outside of an apartment complex with an injury to the lower body.” The suspect is described as being a tall, slender black male, possibly 30-years-old with a short haircut and well-groomed beard. DMX Lookalike Wanted For Attempted Murder In South Carolina, Real DMX Has Questions
Amber Portwood will be living a very lonely existence over the next several days, weeks and maybe even months. This, after a judge handed out a harsh — albeit understandable — ruling to conclude Portwood’s hearing on Wednesday, five days after she was arrested for felony domestic violence . According to court papers obtained from Marion County Superior Court in Indiana, Portwood has been charged with three felonies and a misdemeanor for her alleged attack against boyfriend Andrew Glennon. The first count of domestic battery is for ” knowingly touching Andrew Glennon, a family or household member in a rude, insolent or angry manner .” The second count, meanwhile, relates to the stunning news that Portwood is accused of attacking Glennon with a machete, which is a giant sword. Original reports had stated that Amber only stuck Glennon in the neck with a shoe during a dispute between the couple early last Friday morning — but read down below for the latest on this ugly and violent confrontation. This update includes a description of the machete attack.. and also the way in which Portwood threatened to kill herself. For the third count of domestic battery, which is also a felony, we can now telay the following from the court: Portwood “ knowingly touched Andrew Glennon, a family or household member, in a rude, insolent, or angry manner and Amber L Portwood committed said offense in the presence of a child less than 16 years of age, knowing that the child was present and might be able to see or hear the offense .” Multiple outlets confirm that Glennon was holding the couple’s one-year old son in his arms at the time of this assault. He thought Amber might kill him . This all brings us back the loneliness cited above. The 29-year-old Teen Mom OG star was served with a no contact order in court on Wednesday, July 10. For the foreseeable future, she is not allowed to go near Glennon or baby James. Elsewhere, we can confirm that Portwood was accompanied by her mother, Tonya, her ex-fiancé, Gary Shirley, and his wife, Kristina, as she entered the building. She did not speak to reporters before or after this court appearance. Glennon, for his part, was asked by TMZ how he was holding up and simply replied: “I’ve seen better days.” This would appear to be an understatement. Based on a report by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, which had access to the official legal affidavidt filed by police after they responded to a 911 text from Glennon on July 5, Amber and Andrew got into it because they had tried to take James to see July Fourth fireworks the night before. But there was too much traffic. It was determined they would miss the show and had to turn around — and Portwood blamed Glennon for the snafu. To be exact, Portwood was upset that Glennon “dropped the ball” on their plan to see these fireworks, The Ashley wrote this week. After dropping Amber off and giving her a chance to cool down, Andrew drove around for awhile with James in the car. When he got home, Amber reacted in angry fashion, allegedly hurling a shoe with a one-inch heel at her boyfriend … downing a bunch of pills before later throwing them back up… and slashing the bathroom door with a machete after Andrew locked himself in there with their son. Yikes , right? If this account is accurate, that is. Portwood went to jail in 2013 for also attacking then-boyfriend Gary Shirley, who is the father of her 10-year old daughter, Leah. She has a history of mental illness and even joked on this week’s episode of Teen Mom OG that she’s “f-cking nuts” and is prone to violent outbursts. She wasn’t really joking, of course. The news that Jenelle Evans and David Eason had regained custody of their kids hit Teen Mom 2 fans like a crushing blow to the temple. Actually, it would be more accurate to say that Jenelle and David regained custody of most of their kids, considering her son Jace and his son Kaden will continue to reside with more stable relatives. It would also be more accurate to say that former Teen Mom 2 fans were stunned by the news, as many vowed to never again support the series that made this appalling situation possible, even though Jenelle was fired from the show several months ago. Anyway, as when Donald Trump was elected president or the New England Patriots won yet another Super Bowl, reports of the judge’s ruling left many with the feeling that the bad guys had pulled off a surprise victory. But according to one person who’s very well-acquainted with Jenelle and her parenting style, the situation played out in the best way possible, and the Eason kids are back where they belong. Heather Griffith is the sister of Jenelle’s second baby daddy, Nathan Griffith, who was as stunned as everyone else when his son Kaiser was returned to The Land by a judge who had apparently been experimenting with LSD. Heather says she only really got to know Jenelle once the kids were taken away (?!), and she claims that the mother of her nephew has been misrepresented by the media and is actually a devoted parent (?!?!?) who deserves custody of her kids. “I think a lot of things have been exaggerated and blown out of proportion. I don’t see Jenelle as an unfit parent or someone that doesn’t love her kids,” Heather tells Hollywood Life . “I watch her go through this process, and she’s tried to remain so positive but she was just so sad.” Heather goes on to say that all the coverage of Jenelle’s arrests, accusations of neglect, and frequent substance abuse episodes are nothing more than fake news: “After getting to know her over the past few months — we recently became closer when the kids were taken away — I don’t see her as this horrible, vindictive person that she’s constantly being played out to be,” Heather says, “I think she is just constantly under attack and I don’t think that she’s unfit as a parent.” Nathan, of course, strongly disagrees, and he’ll continue to fight for custody of Kaiser in hearings that are set to begin next month. “I think just with her situation I would be more fit as a parent,” Nathan told TMZ earlier this week, adding that he believed Kaiser isn’t receiving proper “love and affection.” Heather says she supports Nathan in his fight for custody, but somehow, she’s also 100 percent #TeamJenelle these days. “I have talked to her pretty much ever since the kids were taken from her,” Heather tells Hollywood Life. “We check in with each other every day to make sure things are going well throughout the whole process.” In order to appreciate how weird this situation is, we encourage you to pause for a moment and imagine becoming besties with your sibling’s violent, abusive ex-fiance — but only after that person has her kids taken away following a scathing CPS investigation. ee”We’re building a friendship now. It’s hard because Nate’s my brother and I can never be in her corner, but I can referee and make sure she gets a fair fight. I see so much promise and potential in her,” says Heather. “She’s a go-getter; she’s doing what she has to support her family,” Nathan’s sister adds. “One thing I can say about her is that she totally respects the rules of not saying anything bad about my brother,” she continues. “She has never bashed my brother to me or said one bad thing [about him].” Well, to be honest, “rule-respecting go-getter” isn’t exactly the description that jumps to mind when we think about Jenelle Evans. Amber Portwood is being falsely accused of wielding a machete and slashing the bathroom door behind which her boyfriend and baby son were cowering. So claims someone very close to the disgraced Teen Mom OG cast member: Her very own brother. As you may have read by now, Portwood is in serious trouble with the law. The reality star was arrested very early on the morning of July 5 after allegedly getting into a heated argument with live-in lover Andrew Glennon. According to what Glennon told the Indiana police, Portwood was set off after traffic caused her, Andrew and their child, James, to miss a July Fourth fireworks show. Amber reportedly blamed Glennon for this situation, eventually hurling a one-inch heeled shoe in his direction … threatening to kill herself by taking a bunch of pills… and then grabbing the aforementioned sword and using it to try and break into the bathroom after Andrew locked himself inside there with James. Will she go to prison? Will she be fired by MTV? Will she lose custody to Andrew, after he filed to permanently have the toddler under his supervision? These are the questions now being debated by celebrity gossip followers and Teen Mom OG viewers across the nation. But Shawn Portwood claims we all need to slowo our roll… because his sister did NOT do all the things of which she’s been accused. “Stay tuned for the surprise ending. Everything’s not always all it’s cracked up to be,” Portwood Tweeted late Tuesday evening. When one individual remarked how the surprise must be that she allegedly used a “flip flop and machete,” Shawn clapped right back. He remained adamant that his sister is mostly innocent. “That’s not true at all,” he wrote. “You guys are jumping to conclusions that based off of what one person is said. But there is evidence to prove that she did not do that.” This evidence, if it exists, has not yet been made public. On the flip side, police records indicate that a police officer on the scene at Andrew and Amber’s home last Friday took photos of the marks left on Andrew’s neck from shoe Portwood threw at home. These same records state that Amber has admitted to throwing the shoe, but told the cops it barely grazed her boyfriend. Amber went to jail in 2013 for assaulting ex-boyfriend Gary Shirley, a fact basically referenced by someone who responded to Shawn’s Tweet barrage. “What’s your evidence? Amber’s word? We all know she’s violent,” this person wrote to Shawn, who replied as follows: If all I had were Amber word I wouldn’t say nothing. I’m not saying I don’t trust her but I don’t go based off of word. I go based off of facts and evidence. And right now the evidence that I know of does not indicate anything about what was said she did. Intriguing, right? We’re not about to speculate too much here because this whole thing is too sensitive. There’s a one-year old child right smack dab in the middle it, let’s remember. Amber Portwood is Innocent of Assault Charges (Her Brother Says)
It's time to move over, Florida Man . You must now officially make room for Long Island Man. Or, to be more precise we suppose, you must make room for Short Long Island Man, based on a hilarious/disturbing new video that has gone very viral in a very short period of time. In a video posted to Twitter this week, a woman is heard at the Bagel Boss shop in Bay Shore, New York, asking a middle-aged man wearing running shoes, shorts and a striped polo shirt why he thinks it's acceptable to “degrade women.” We don't know the circumstances that prompted this question… only that it led to an epic tirade in response. “Degrade – why is it okay for women to say, 'Oh you’re five feet on dating sites, you should be dead,'” the man fires back as he hurls a newspaper he was holding to the floor. “That's okay?” Wait, what, the woman responds? No one at the store said anything like that. “Women in general have said it on dating sites. You think I'm making that sh-t up,” the patron screams back while throwing his arms in the air. “Everywhere I go I get the same f-cking smirk with the biting lip.” This is actually pretty sad. The poor guy clearly has understandable self-esteem issues… which is not an excuse for the way he acted here. But it's still something everyone viewing the footage ought to consider. Another customer then interjects, telling the man to “calm down.” But this has the opposite effect. “Shut your mouth. You're not God or my father or my boss,” he yells. When another customer also tells the man to chill out, his anger only reaches a new level. “Dude you want to step outside? You want to step outside? Huh? I'm not scare of you, pal.” The third time, however, is NOT the charm for this guy. After telling yet another patron to also “shut up” and challenging him to a fight, the bitter dating site user gets tackled to the grond. Hard. As you might expect, and mostly understand, the Internet is having a field day with this video. To wit: But we sort of have two different reactions: FIRST, imagine if this were an overweight woman, responding in sadness and anger over how she is looked at by men. We somehow doubt folks would be mocking her in the same way. SECOND, couldn't you see this guy going on some sort of shooting spree in the near future? Based on the domestic violence history of nearly all mass shooters, toxic masculinity is to blame for this epidemic as much as any other societal issue. The guy already felt snubbed by the opposite sex. Now, he probably feels like the laughing stock of pretty much everyone out there. It's scary to consider. Source: David Wolff – Patrick / Getty A$AP Rocky and his ongoing ordeal in Sweden has sparked the creation of a petition to hopefully spring the rapper from a reportedly poorly-kept prison. So far, the petition has over 370,000 signatures and counting, all in hopes that it gets the attention of officials in the European nation. From the Change.org petition: Upon being detained, Rocky was denied his request to counsel which is in violation of Article 36 of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, to which Sweden is a signatory. Everyone has the same rights to be treated fairly upon detainment and should be given fair and equal access to such rights. Since, he has been allowed to visit with a U.S. Embassy Consult and attorney, but only in the presence of Swedish officials. It is extremely troubling and worrisome that the laws are not being applied equally in these circumstances. On Monday, July 8th, we filed an appeal with the Swedish Supreme Court to have Rocky released from the inhumane conditions and the clear violation of human rights. They rejected the filing, which means Rocky will remain in prison for two weeks. The conditions of the facility are horrific. Some of the inhumane conditions Rocky and his colleagues are facing at the Stockholm Detention Center include 24/7 solitary confinement, restriction of amenities for the most basic of human functions, access to palatable and life sustaining food as well as unsanitary conditions. According to the petition description, Rocky could face an additional two weeks in the prison according to the prosecutor’s wishes to extend the trial until August. According to a 130-page report released by Atlanta Police Department, Officer Keisha Richburg was seen taking $500 from the wallet of a shooting victim, after she responded to a police call on June 19th. Officers are obligated to take the belongs from shooting victims to their families at the hospital. The body cam catches the officer receiving the wallet from a Grady EMT with $500 in it, then putting the wallet in her car. Once the officer arrives at Grady Hospital, the wallet is empty. APD Chief Erika Shields says she wants integrity to be at the heart of the department and that Richburg does not represent the kind of officer that is good for this city.
