Y’all already know I got good p—y. I’m tired of rapping about my money…We gonna talk this gangsta s–t…I’m too f–king lit,” referring to her new single “Press,” which she released at midnight. R eceiving over 100 college acceptance letters can be overwhelming for a high school graduate, but for 18-year-old Normandie Cormier , it was clear that she would begin her next chapter at a historically Black college and university. According to USA Today , after being accepted to 139 colleges through the Common App and the Common Black College App, the Louisiana native has decided to further her education at Xavier University in New Orleans. Early on she decided that she wanted to enter a program that allowed her to simultaneously earn her high school diploma and a college degree. With the support of her family, she enrolled in Early College Academy which is a part of South Louisiana Community College’s campus. Outside of school, she was very involved in her local community, often mentoring young girls who want to pursue careers in STEM, tutoring youngsters and adults, and volunteering at a nursing home. The journey hasn’t been easy for Cormier. She’s dealt with several immune system issues which have caused many hospital visits. Despite her health ailments, she prevailed. She ended up graduating with a high school diploma and an associate’s degree. Her dedication to her education and making a positive impact in her community caught the attention of higher education institutions across the globe and earned her $8.7 million in scholarships and grants from GE, Burger King and other companies and organizations. Her hospital visits led her to choose a career path in medicine. “Since I was a child, I was always in and out of the hospital,” Cormier told USA Today. “When I was young, it affected my self-esteem. But now I can use it to inspire others.” She said selecting Xavier University of Louisiana was an easy decision because her personal goals are aligned with the school’s values. The aspiring doctor hopes that her journey will inspire others. Source: Allen Berezovsky / Getty Scottie Pippen Adds 5-Year-Old Girl To Lawsuit According to NBC , former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen has accused a young girl of defacing his Florida mansion with markers and crayons in a lawsuit he filed against the child’s parents. Pippen claims the girl, who was then 4 years old at the time, damaged “certain elements of the property” with coloring tools, adding that her parents, comedian Lindsay Glazer and Jacob Woloshin, had “responsibility for her conduct.” Pippen filed the suit in a Broward County court in 2018 alleging that Glazer and her husband destroyed his Fort Lauderdale home by causing more than $109,000 in damages. The couple moved into his house after theirs was damaged in September 2017 by Hurricane Irma. They all agreed that the couple would pay $30,000 a month for rent. Pippen had placed the home on the market, but agreed to let them stay only if they kept the property in “top show condition,” the lawsuit states. Pippen also alleged the couple allowed their pets (a dog and a cat) to “urinate throughout the home, thereby causing permanent stains and unsanitary conditions.” Pippen is demanding payment for damages, legal fees and other costs.

Jenelle Evans Starts Therapy and Parenting Classes: Too Little, Too Late?
It’s been clear for multiple months now that June Shannon is in need of help. The long-time reality star is seemingly unwilling to ditch horrible boyfriend Geno Doak and, even more disturbingly, was arrested in March for crack cocaine possession . But we had no idea just how serious Shannon’s issues truly were until we watched Friday night’s season finale of From Not to Hot. As previously teased, the emotional finale centered around an intervention staged for June by her concerned family members. Upon entering her sister Doe Doe’s house, Shannon found daughters Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and Jessica – along with niece Amber – waiting to speak with her about all that’s been going on in her life. June was extremely wary as soon as she walked into the room. “If this intervention doesn’t work, she’s mentally going to have an actual breakdown,” said Pumpkin. The 19-year old then put on a brave face and opened way up to her mother. “Physically, it’s like you don’t care about your health,” she said. “I’m concerned about you. We care about you. Alana cares about you, Jessica cares about you, Doe Doe cares about you and it’s like everybody’s trying to get you back healthy and you have tunnel vision and the only person you see is Geno.” Pumpkin even brought up the credible cheating allegations against Geno , but Mama June was in total denial. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she simply replied. The floor was then turned over to Honey Boo Boo. At just 13 years old, she stood there and explained to her mother that her decision to live with Pumpkin was “not by choice.” Tearfully, Honey Boo Boo added: “I swear to God mama it’s not by choice.” June Shannon Begged by Daughter to Seek Help: Do You Want to DIE?!? Continued the former child beauty pageant competitor, whose “career” in that field is what caused her family to land a reality show in the first place, way back in the day: “I would love to come home and stay with you, tell you about my day, but I can’t do that because I’m scared. I’m scared to stay at your house.” You would think that such an emotional plea from her young daughter would have an impact on June — but it merely caused her to exit the scene. She left the house and went off on therapist Dr. Ish, executive producer Adam Freeman and executive producer Moriah, admitting that she wasn’t the same person she used to be. “Just ask Geno how many times I sit there and cry to him and be like, ‘I hate my f-cking self. I want to f-cking kill the person that I am now,'” she cried. “Because I don’t know who I am. I don’t know if I want to ‘kill myself’ kill myself or I want to kill the person that has took over my body.” Heartbreaking stuff, right? Eventually, the group did actually convince Shannon to enter an in-patient treatment facility. That night, they drove her to the center, which was hours away in North Carolina, and watched with hope as June checked into the facility. But then this hope was quickly dashed. “After only 12 hours, June checks herself out,” the show revealed on the episode. “Geno picks her up. Their whereabouts are unknown.” Two days later, in Alabama, Shannon and Doak were arrested on the aforementioned drug possession charges. At the same time, Doak was arrested alongside Shannon on a charge of domestic violence. “As soon as Geno got Mama from the treatment center, I knew it was over from there. Mama just got charged with a possession of crack cocaine, which is a felony,” Pumpkin said on the finale “Since Mama June got arrested in Alabama, she has to stay there until she goes to court,” added Doe Doe. The series then revealed that Shannon appeared in court and “faces felony charges for drug possession” while “Geno faces felony charges for drug possession and additional domestic assault charges. I need to get it together. I need to get my sh-t together. If this isn’t her wake-up call. Source: Kevin Mazur / Getty Witnesses Corroborate Jussie Smollett’s Characterization Of Persons Of Interest In Alleged Race Hate Incident The recent release of several hundred pages of internal documents related to the alleged racist attack against actor Jussie Smollett’s has raised questions about law enforcement’s narrative of the case after some witness statements appear to match the “Empire” actor’s story. Chicago Police released more than 400 pages of documents earlier this week that detail it’s handling of Smollett’s case , and at least two eyewitnesses told police that they saw men who fit Smollett’s descriptions of the suspects loitering near the scene around the time of the alleged incident, according to the documents, which were obtained by BOSSIP. A hotel security guard told police that he saw three men in dark clothing – and one of the men was white and wearing a facemask – near the scene around the time of the incident, the case’s papers state. And another resident who was walking a dog told police that she saw a white man smoking a cigarette with a rope poking out from underneath his coat. The witness said the man appeared to be waiting for something, and his clothes appeared wet. Source: Brandon Caldwell / Radio One Houston Cops accused Smollett of staging the alleged attack to help advance his career and later charged Smollett with making a false police report. The District Attorney’s Office eventually dropped the charges. Smollett and his legal team weren’t aware of the details in the documents because the District Attorney’s Office and his lawyers did not exchange evidence before Smollett’s charges were ultimately dropped, a source with direct knowledge of the situation told BOSSIP. Nevertheless, our source said Smollett’s story hasn’t wavered, and while his camp isn’t worried about his career, there is a concern that his community and advocacy work has been overshadowed by the case. “It got political and it got bigger than him,” the source said. “It’s the years of advocacy, the things he’s been doing for his community and people of color that goes away and it’s not fair.”

According to Fox16 , a neighborhood in Little Rock, Arkansas is outraged over a resident’s Facebook post that depicts a brown mannequin being hanged from a noose next to a confederate flag. “This day of time, there’s no place for it,” says Ricky Allen. “I saw a video of a noose, of a person of color, hanging from it. It’s kind of disturbing.” To make matters worse, the owner of the home has fixed her face to explain that the imagery “is not about race”… “Well, hell, I’ll take it down. This is a Halloween decoration – a Creeper. You know the movie Jeepers Creepers,” says the woman. The woman claims no one has stopped by her house to tell her the mannequin is offensive. “They could have knocked on the door and asked instead of calling the news out,” says the woman. Ma’am. B!tc#. What in the HELL makes you think that a Black person is gonna knock on your door for a conversation when there is a symbol of their impending death hanging in your front yard?
