The Atlanta songstress notched a new streaming record based on her numbers, beating out Beyoncé’s Lemonade as the most-streamed R&B album by a woman in its first week of release. Billboard reports that Walker streamed the equivalent of 134,000 units for the project released on October 4, bringing its week-end October 10 streams to 154. 7 million, besting Beyoncé’s first week numbers of 115.2 million for Lemonade . Even with the success of her debut, Walker still came in at second on the Billboard 200 charts behind K-Pop stars SuperM, who moved 168,000 equivalent units of their The 1st Mini Album release Congrats to Summer Walker! As the face of GQ’s November edition P is attempting to change the macho narrative. Dubbed the “New Masculinity Issue” the Virginia native is pictured sporting a Moncler 1 sleeveless poncho that hangs to the floor giving the look a ball gown vibe. In the story the In My Mind author explains his stance on what the definition of being manly is. “Some of my old songs, I would never write or sing today. I get embarrassed by some of that stuff. It just took a lot of time and growth to get to that place,” he revealed. “‘Blurred Lines’ opened me up. I didn’t get it at first…lyrically,I was like, What are you talking about?… And then I realized that there are men who use that same language when taking advantage of a woman, and it doesn’t matter that that’s not my behavior. The actor is accused of a pattern of aggressive behavior after drinking in a number of Manhattan bars. As reported by Page Six , Gooding’s actions date back to 2008 and a source told the outlet that the actions alleged are part of an ongoing pattern. Back in June, a woman who accused Gooding of grabbing her breast in a Manhattan bar inspired other accusers to come forth and slam the actor for his actions. Gooding has since maintained his innocence in the matter despite video evidence in one case that seems to illustrate that he was indeed out of bounds in encroaching upon one woman’s personal space. Source: Lubomir Panayotov / Getty 32-Year-Old Walked Over 300 Miles To Have Sex With A Teenage Girl A 32-year-old man walked a whopping 351 miles from Indiana to Wisconsin with the intention of having sex with a 14-year-old girl. According to reports from The New York Daily News , Tommy Jenkins was arrested on Thursday and hit with multiple charges in Wisconsin’s Winnebago County. Investigators say that the grown man traveled on foot from Whitestown, Indiana, after demanding “sexually explicit photographs” from a young girl named “Kylee,” who turned out to be an undercover sheriff’s deputy. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Wisconsin said on Friday that Jenkins began the long trek after “Kylee” refused his many requests to join him in Indiana. Throughout this time, Jenkins continued to engage who he thought was a young girl in sexually explicit conversations and kept her updated on his progress during his walk, authorities said. Once he arrived in Winnebago County, deputies and an FBI agent welcomed him by placing him in custody. “Our nation faces an epidemic of child sexual abuse, with the Internet making it too easy for predators to communicate with children across the country,” said U.S. Attorney Matthew Krueger. “The Justice Department is committed to working with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to prosecute child sexual abuse aggressively.” Jenkins’ federal charges include using a computer to attempt to persuade, induce, or entice a minor to engage in unlawful sexual activity. He is facing a minimum of 10 years in prison and possible life behind bars.
This weekend lots of celebrities made their way into D.C. for Howard University’s Homecoming . Dave East came through and performed at Yardfest and Lore’l jokes with him that people weren’t sure if they were looking at him or Method Man. An educational institution recently rescinded their invitation to have him at their homecoming festivities. The Brooklyn MC was scheduled to perform at Georgetown University’s “Hoya Madness” last weekend. XXL is reporting that Fab’s invite was cancelled due to allegations of domestic violence. School officials released a formal statement explaining their position. “After engaging with students, we have cancelled the musical act for 2019 Hoya Madness. We take domestic violence very seriously and were unaware of the charges against the entertainer when he was booked through a third-party entity. We are committed to enhanced vetting of future performers and doing all that we can to support a safe and respectful community.” Earlier this year Fabolous plead guilty to one count of harassment for threatening and menacing his longtime girlfriend Emily Bustamante and her father. He originally faced up to 20 years for allegedly punching her so hard that she had to have her front teeth removed. Weeks later footage surfaced of him brandishing a sharp object at Emily and her family members outside of their New Jersey home. You can see the video of the altercation below. No official start date for The Batman has been revealed, but “insiders’ told the publication that filming could begin late 2019 or early 2020. The Batman is slated for a June 25, 2021, nationwide release. Kravitz, who is coming off a successful second season of the popular HBO show, Big Little Lies , will also be starring in the Hulu series High Fidelity . She joins Anne Hatheway, who played the thief and sometimes Batman’s love interest in 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises . Michelle Pfeiffer successfully took on the role of Selina Kyle Batman Returns teaming up with Danny DeVito’s Penguin opposite Michael Keaton who played the caped crusader. Catwoman also had her own solo movie starring Halle Berry. The film, unfortunately, flopped super-hard. It is still considered to be one of the worst superhero flicks ever. Kravitz casting sounds like a good move by Reeves, who did receive a bit of criticism for opting to go with Pattinson to play the billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne.
