The location is significant, the city said, because Obama held his first campaign rally in Los Angeles on February 20, 2007, at Rancho Cienega Park. The park sits on Rodeo Road, right across from W. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Rodeo Road goes through a historically Black neighborhood. The Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously to rename the 3.5 mile stretch of road. On April 29th, David Eason killed her dog, Nugget, by beating it then shooting it with a shotgun. And after that, everything pretty much fell apart. It's probably safe to say that if Jenelle lost her job on Teen Mom 2, things would somehow get even worse for her. But, well, here we are. 1. What a Week It’s been almost a week now since David killed Jenelle’s dog, so let’s go ahead and do a quick little timeline, OK? 2. So Wrong On Monday, we know that David shot Jenelle’s French bulldog puppy, Nugget, and he claimed he did it because it bit Ensley. 3. Oh No Jenelle herself admitted that “hit” the dog before chasing it into the woods and shooting it with a shotgun, but reliable sources have alleged that he beat the dog so badly that when he came back in the house, he was “covered in blood.” 4. Understandable Jenelle has been devastated about losing her dog, and she left home to go stay with her longtime friend Jamie Wilshire in Kentucky. 5. Yes Please She’s been so upset that she’s made several statements about how divorce is a possibility. 6. Source: U.S. Navy / Getty Plane Skids Off Of The Runway And Into A River A Boeing 737 charter jet arriving at the Jacksonville, Florida from Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, slid off the runway into the St. Johns River on Friday night, injuring 21 people, according to authorities . All 136 passengers and seven crew members had been rescued by early Saturday morning, a Navy spokeswoman said. Luckily, none of the injuries were life-threatening. “I think it is a miracle,” Capt. Michael P. Connor, the commanding officer at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, said at a news conference on Saturday morning. “We could be talking about a different story.” The sheriff’s office said the plane had never been submerged with photos showed the aircraft floating on the St. Johns River. The incident occurred at about 9:40 p.m. as the pilot attempted to land the jet amid heavy thunder and rain. The flight was operated by Miami Air International , a charter company that shuttles military service members from the base in Guantánamo Bay to naval air stations in Jacksonville and Norfolk, Virginia. Boeing has been under some serious scrutiny following two deadly crashes of its 737 Max jet within months of each other–while Miami Air International’s website says the airline exclusively uses the Boeing 737-800 jet, which is a different model. The Max planes have been grounded in the United States and several other countries in the aftermath of the Ethiopian Airlines crash. Luckily, there were no serious injuries or fatalities in this latest incident.
