This Is Us Recap: Toby’s Got a Secret. Did He Keep It?

Kate and Toby were at the center of This Is Us Season 4 Episode 2. And so was their son, Jack, which is where the problems between the couple arose. We’ll start with this: A clearly thinner Toby simply could not hide his anxiety over the baby boy’s diagnosis of blindness on this installment of the NBC drama. The family remarked on Toby’s weight loss, which he attributed to stress and stress only. Kate, for her part, appeared to be holding things together and also appeared to be unshaken by any new developments. The husband and wife did get plenty support from Kevin, Rebecca, Miguel and Madison as they navigated the ins and outs of parenting a child who cannot see. Kate eventually lost it when she thought about Jack never getting to see a Pittsburgh Steelers game — and she wondered whether his condition was her fault because doctors warned her not to get pregnant. However, she regained her inner strength once she decided that he would live a limitless life… with the Pearsons’ assistance. She was still struggling, though. Could anyone blame her? Toby noted that Kate was overeating to cope and that he was worried about her, while he was secretly sneaking to the gym to work out and slim down. Elsewhere… Kevin also attempted to remain busy to maintain his sobriety. He helped Kate and Toby… went to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings… wrapped a new film with M. Night Shyamalan … and considered a job offer in Chicago. However, he could not stop thinking about Nicky (Griffin Dunne), who totally ghosted him after Kevin wired him bail money. Instead of heading to Illinois to take a meeting about a new movie, Kevin traveled to Nicky’s trailer to figure out what was up with him. Watch This Is Us Season 4 Episode 2 Online Nearby, Randall, Beth and the girls settled into life in Pittsburgh. Tess (Eris Baker) and Deja (Lyric Ross) wanted to express their independence, naturally, by getting a kinda crazy haircut and riding the city bus to school alone, respectively — but their parents hesitated. Ultimately, they caved as viewers discovered that Deja’s route passed by Malik’s auto shop and she had been flirting with him via text message. Finally… In flashbacks, Jack, Rebecca and the Big Three went to the pool, yet it was nothing like their Season 1 trip. Unfortunately. The children were about to begin seventh grade and were not into hanging with their mom and dad. Kevin and Randall argued over their less than brotherly treatment of each other… and Kate kissed a boy after falling prey to a prank by popular girls. This Is Us airs on NBC Tuesdays at 9/8c.

Kailyn Lowry seems to make a genuine effort to get along with her baby daddies. But there's a difference between being friendly and what Javi Marroquin wanted her to do at this year's Teen Mom 2 reunion taping. Now, we already knew that Javi cheated on his fiancee, Lauren Comeau . What we didn't know until now was that he (allegedly) tried to hook up with Kailyn Lowry behind her back. We're guessing Lauren is having second thoughts about giving her man another chance right about now! Take a look: 1. Handsy Javi Kail and Javi have hooked up several times since ending their marriage back in 2016. And clearly, it’s an arrangement he thought would continue … 2. He Was Wrong The problem with that, of course, is that Javi is engaged to Lauren Comeau. And as far as we know, the couple is not in an open relationship. 3. Popping the Question Of course, Javi and Lauren’s engagement was a new development when Kail filmed her scenes for this week’s Teen Mom 2. And while Comeau seemed to believe Javi had changed his cheating ways … Lowry was less convinced. 4. Okay, wow. The only thing more shocking than Kelly Dodd's reign of terror over her fellow Housewives is the knowledge that Kelly has no regrets . On this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County , however, Kelly was more furious than we've ever seen her. Vicki spread one rumor too many — this time, one that drags Kelly's daughter, Jolie, into the drama. This was too much for Kelly, who put Vicki on blast. But Kelly went so far as to tell Vicki: “You are a f–king psycho, you f–king pig bitch, you liar f–king c–t!” That, however, wasn't the verbal blow that made Vicki burst into tears . 1. Then Vicki gets unintentionally funny “I just … schematics, so let’s just say that,” Vicki says as the other women bombard her with questions. I was getting ready to put my hair in a protective style, so I wanted to give my hair maximum nutrients. My hair had been in a natural afro for the week, making it a bit rough. The pre-shampoo helps soften the hair. I tried African Pride Moisture Miracle Aloe and Coconut Water Pre-Shampoo ($6.85, walmart.com ). Aloe is great for your hair as it acts as a conditioner and also contains proteolytic enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp, promoting healthy cell turnover. It also promotes hair growth, which I’m here for. Coconut water is incredibly hydrating and prevents breakage. This is great for when your hair is a bit sensitive. I sectioned my hair in four, then sectioned each section in two (in a layered type of way). I applied the product directly to my dry hair. At first, I didn’t love it. It has a jelly like consistency. However, once I started shingling and really working the product into my hair, my hair started thriving! I finger combed through my hair with the product. My curl pattern was fully defined, my hair was soaking up the product. I borderline considered using this for my wash and go in the future. That’s how much I enjoyed the way my curls looked and my hair felt. After 45 minutes, my hair was soft, supple, and easy to work through with my fingers. Yesterday was bittersweet as a Dallas jury found former police officer Amber Guyger guilty of the murder of Botham Jean, but watching Jean’s mother give her victim impact testimony quickly quelled the joy of justice served. Although it is a very somber watch, we suggest checking out Allison Jean’s testimony about her son and he meant to their family. These are the lives that police ruin due to profiling and outright racism. God bless this woman and the entire Jean family.

As part of the deal, Peele’s next two movies in which he will write, produce and direct, will be under the Universal banner. We also share an important goal with Monkeypaw when it comes to increasing representation on-screen in the characters that are portrayed, the stories that are told, and the people who tell them.” Jordan Peele added: “It would not have been possible to make Get Out and Us without the endless trust and support we received from Donna Langley and the team at Universal.  Their willingness to take risks and their commitment to original content makes them the perfect collaborative partner for Monkeypaw.  I couldn’t be more excited for what lies ahead.” This union makes perfect sense with Peele’s first two projects under his Monkeypaw Pictures tentpole and Universal. 2017’s  Get   Out , and 2019’s  Us both were critical and box office hits. Actress and Trump-loving MAGA-advocate Stacey Dash claims she can’t afford her own attorney to deal with the domestic violence charges she is currently facing. You may have heard that the former Fox News talking head ( who got fired ) got arrested for allegedly putting hands on her fourth husband. Since then, she has claimed she was the victim and those scratches on her arm that prompted her arrest were due to self-defense. However, we now learn that Dash claims she can’t afford an attorney to help her make her case. According to TMZ , Dash filed legals docs that say she is indigent aka too broke to afford a private attorney, so she’s requesting a public defender. The judge signed off on the public defender, but also asked that the actress provide proof of her suspect finances. Doesn’t Dash have any rich GOP friends that could hold her down?

The two youngsters have called it quits…at least “for now” according to TMZ . Travis and Kylie were last seen publicly at his “Look Mom, I Can Fly” documentary premiere on August, 27th. According to a source, their relationship was shakey on the red carpet but they still came together as a family for the sake of supporting the project. Apparently, things have cooled all the way down since then, driving a wedge between them. Reports say Kylie and Travis have been trying to make it work in the weeks since his documentary premiere but ultimately decided to walk away. Earlier this year the couple had another hiccup where Kylie suspected that Travis was cheating. This was back in March 2019, but Travis denied it. Sources added that this isn’t the first time the couple has taken a break so theirs hope for them.
