Will Lady Gaga’s new album mark a resurgence for the songstress? It’s hard to believe, but it’s been two years since Born This Way dropped. Since then, the 26-year-old has dropped out of the public consciousness a bit. Her forthcoming record ARTPOP should chance that … right? Gaga, who made news last week by f-bombing former assistant Jennifer O’Neill in a deposition, called BTW “a form of therapy” and “a movement.” How does she view ARTPOP? Apparently it’s a happier album , first off, and she “knows what we want, and that’s fun, dirty, dance music, and there’s no shortage of it on ARTPOP.” Lady Gaga reportedly considers ARTPOP her first “real” album and is worried if she’ll ever be able to top it because she knows it’s that good. She doesn’t lack for confidence or self-esteem, that’s for sure. You excited for her new album? Or are you over Gaga?

In 1982, Congress mandated the construction of a national nuclear waste repository. It’s been nearly 30 years since then, of course, and there’s no such repository. Planned for Yucca Mountain, Nevada, it was scuttled by the Obama administration due to NIMBY issues — and there’s
When Daniel covered the Terrafugia, he wrote “the rest of us here now on a heating planet could use more efficient cars and airplanes, not wacky combos of the two built for the super rich.” It is interesting that nothing has changed in 80 years since this vehicle, shown in Modern Mechanix, was proposed….
