On April 24, Bruce Jenner will sit down with Diane Sawyer and officially confirm that he is in the process of becoming a woman. Obviously, those in his inner circle have known about his transition for quite some time, and the former Olympian has reportedly received mixed responses from his family and friends. Earlier today, it was reported that Kylie Jenner is “embarrassed” by her father’s sex change and several of her famous siblings apparently feel the same way. Insiders claim that Kourtney Kardashian has been supporting Bruce and encouraging her sisters to do the same, but they’ve been putting more and more distance between themselves and their former step-dad as he takes new steps toward becoming a woman. One source says Khloe Kardashian has been the least sympathetic member of the family and that she’s been attempting to sever all contact following the news that Bruce had received breast implants . “Khloe hasn’t been up there since the breast implant surgery,” the insider tells Radar Online. The source adds that Kourtney has exchanged text messages and emails with Bruce, but has refused and to speak with him on the phone or visit him at his home in Malibu. Khloe’s reasons for avoiding Bruce are not known, but insiders say several members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan believe that Bruce is jeopardizing their careers by coming out. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star surprised followers on Shapchat and Instagram yesterday by debuting a brand new look, rocking some seriously aqua hair while staring into the camera and posing for a selfie in a mirror: “The road trip begins…” Kylie wrote as a caption to the Instagram picture, likely referring to Coachella this weekend. After nearly eight years of trials, appeals and re-trials, Amanda Knox is finally a free woman once and for all. Moments ago, the highest court in Italy overturned Knox’s 2009 conviction for the murder of 21-year-old Miranda Kercher. Knox’s conviction was first overturned on appeal in 2011, but her ordeal was far from over. The appeal was overturned and Knox was convicted of murder for a second time in 2014. The 27-year-old Washington state native was not present in court, but she could have been sentenced in absentia to 25 years in prison, had the court reached a different decision. Knox’s former boyfriend and co-defendant, Raffaelle Solecito, was also cleared on all charges. Solecito had faced a sentence of 25 years. While most legal experts familiar with case predicted that Knox would be acquitted, a shocking last-minute turn of events threw her future into doubt. On the eve of the trial, Solecito retracted previous testimony that had provided Knox with an alibi on the night of the murder. It seemed as though Solecito may have been attempting to shift the blame to Knox, but reportedly, he maintained in court that he believes she is innocent, and that she had no motive to murder Kercher. After several hours of deliberation, the court rendered its decision late this evening, and with that, Knox’s long nightmare came to an end. Knox is currently residing in Seattle, where she works in a bookstore and writes theater reviews for a local newspaper. Monday night on ABC, Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Episode 1 kicked off the show’s 10th anniversary (they do two seasons per year) in terrific fashion. The premiere encapsulated so many of the things that have made the show a hit for that long, from the music to the celebrity stories to, yes, the dancing. No perfect 10s or even 9s were awarded on night one, but a couple of stars already shone brightly, while some others clearly have their work cut out. Let’s check out the Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Episode 1 performances … Rumer Willis & Val Chmerkovskiy – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkovskiy: The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, who were there with her sisters Tallulah and Scout, won the night. Her foxtrot drew glowing praise from the panel (and her famous family) and established her instantly as one of the stars to watch this coming season. Score: 32/40 Riker Lynch & Allison – Jive – Dancing With The Stars – Season 20 Week 1 Riker Lynch and Allison Holker: The Glee star, pop musician and cousin of Julianne and Derek Hough certainly looked the part … of all of those things. Robert Herjavec & Kym Johnson – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson: Shark Tank fans know Robert is one of the nicest, most engaging people on the planet, and he showed it here. He needs the money less than anyone else appearing on the show (or the planet), but he put forth as much charisma, effort and energy as anyone. Score: 28 . Chris Soules & Witney Carson – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Chris Soules and Witney Carson: Yes, The Bachelor winner traded Whitney Bischoff for another Witney. Let the cheating rumors commence immediately! As for the dancing? It could’ve been better – no way he’s winning this season, or even coming close – but it also could have been much, much worse. Michael Sam & Peta Murgatroyd – Dancing With The Stars Season 20 Week 1 Michael Sam and Peta Murgatroyd: The first gay man drafted into the NFL is still trying to make his debut in the league, and his debut here was rocky too. The former college football all-star was slammed for his facial expressions and footwork alike, although he’s a competitor, so expect him to use it as fuel. Score: 26 . Noah Galloway & Sharna Burgess – Cha Cha – Dancing With The Stars – Season 20 Week 1 Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess: The inspirational, heroic, amputee Army vet instantly became a fan favorite when his introductory video aired. He also became a challenge for partner Sharna from the standpoint of a choreographer, who told him he plus play on the fact that he is a titan among men. Will he become a titan of dance as he broadens the scope (as Carrie Ann Inaba put it) of what dancing looks like? Only time will tell, but not bad. Score: 26 . Willow Shields & Mark Ballas – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Willow Shields and Mark Ballas: The Hunger Games actress, who at 14 years old is the youngest celebrity ever on the show, definitely looked the part. Still, she seemed to surpass the low bar that would be set for her and earned mostly praise from the judges despite mediocre scores in this opener. Score: 25 . Suzanne Somers & Tony Dovolani – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Suzanne Somers and Tony Dovolani: Defying the aging process is one thing, but keeping up with Olivia Newton-John’s “Physical” proved to be another. Score: 25 . Patti LaBelle & Artem Chigvintsev – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Patti LaBelle and Artem Chigvintsev: At age 70, the music great more than held her own in the premiere and earned a standing ovation for her foxtrot. Score: 25 . Charlotte McKinney & Keo Motsepe – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Charlotte McKinney and Keo Motsepe: If you’ve seen Charlotte McKinney Instagram photos , this was about as tough to watch as those pics are enjoyable. On the plus side, all of those steps she missed during her jive were noticed only by the judges, since viewers were likely enjoying her other attributes. Score: 22 . Redfoo & Emma Slater – Dancing With the Stars Season 20 Week 1 Redfoo and Emma Slater: For a man famous for the “Party Rock Anthem,” LMFAO rapper looked woefully out of place and awkward on the floor. “Well, Redfoo, you dance like your hair, a little wild and unkempt,” said Len Goodman, and it’s hard to argue with that point after one week at least.
