The first full trailer for Marvel’s Ant-Man was released last night, fittingly during the Marvel’s Agent Carter premiere on ABC. Want to check it out? The movie centers around small-time thief Scott Lang, who obtains technology – via some interesting twists of fate – to make him really small. “One question,” asks Lang to Douglas’ Hank Pym. “Is it too late to change the name?” Sadly for Marvel, it likely is. Probably, yes. Can Lang and Pym overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles and pull off a heist that will save the world, while protecting their big secret? We have a hunch that they can in a movie that brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the very first time, with great anticipation. Tuesday on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 Episode 8, Brandi and Lisa sat down to talk about their issues for the 357th time. More or less, right? Give or take. That much-hyped lunch was actually rather civil compared to what came later on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 Episode 8 , however. Oh yes, as David and Babyface were about to do a little concert, Brandi suggested a song about finger banging, complete with associated hand motions. “If that’s not white trash, I don’t know what is,” Lisa Rinna said of that incident, likely summing up what many viewers at home were thinking as well. Kim Richards’ daughter Brooke is getting married and the two are looking at wedding dresses. Then her sister Kathy Hilton shows up and ruins everything. For us at least. That woman is straight up painful. Kim is going through a ton these days, revealing that her ex-husband, Brooke’s father, is dying of cancer. It’s one thing after another for poor Kim. Eileen Davidson is introduced seemingly for the sake of being introduced, then she’s gone in anticlimactic fashion, while Kyle and Brandi go “hiking.” Brandi is planning a housewarming party and talks about inviting Lisa, who she is STILL not over after he picked Cibrian’s mistress Scheana Marie over her. Daytime Emmy-winning actress Eileen Davidson has joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for next season, and the star did not come cheap. The Days of Our Lives and Young & The Restless legend “has indeed signed on to join the cast for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” an insider says. How much did she get to bring her star power to the Bravo series? An astonishing $750,000, which is a record for a cast member. Compared to the rest of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast salaries , Davidson is head and shoulders above the rest, despite her newcomer status. How did she command that kind of cash from the producers? Sources say the dynamics between Eileen and fellow new cast member/soap opera star Lisa Rinna will heave fans “surprised by their relationship.” The returning stars also received huge raises, it’s worth noting. Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, and Yolanda Foster will each earn a cool $500,000, while Kim Richards and Lisa Rinna will be bringing in $450,000. Vanderpump had been earning just $250,000 a season, followed by Kyle Richards at $200,000, and her sister Kim and Foster netting $100,000 a piece. After countless shake-ups and casting rumors, Radar Online reports today that Lisa Rinna has joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . Rumors of Rinna becoming a Housewife date back to April of this year and producers reportedly reached the decision to make Rinna an offer after giving the actress-turned-reality-star a trial run in front of the cameras at Kyle Richards’ White Party in June. The news comes on the heels of the announcement that Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof will be returning to the show. This being RHOBH, of course, some of the existing cast members already have beef with Lisa: “Lisa is getting along with many of the ladies, with the exception of Brandi [Glanville] and Yolanda Foster,” a source tells Radar. “Brandi’s problem with Lisa is that she is happily married and has two beautiful daughters. According to Brandi, Lisa has the perfect life, and she is very jealous of that.” Rinna, of course, is best known for her roles on soaps such as Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place. While this will be her first run on Bravo, Lisa is no stranger to reality TV. She competed on a season of Celebrity Apprentice and was even the star of a short-lived TV Land series entitled Harry Loves Lisa, that focused on her marriage to Mad Men star Harry Hamlin. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is down two housewives as Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud were fired this week after just one season on Bravo. What does the former have to say about her dismissal? E! News’ Giuliana Rancic caught up with Carlton, the franchise’s first Wiccan, at the premiere of Maleficent, and she hinted that she is in fact gone. Not that she’s looking at this news as devastating. While she hasn’t “officially been notified yet by Bravo,” Carlton is already plotting her next reality TV move, calling her RHOBH exit “a blessing.” “I sort of look at it as a blessing in disguise because my husband does have a project in the works, a reality show,” Carlton revealed to Giuliana . “It’s something that would give me the opportunity to work with him. I was contractually obligated for a three-year deal and if that’s the case, I’m not anymore.” She is married to David Gebbia, owner of Stockcross Financial Services. Carlton adds, in closing, “I really have enjoyed working for Bravo!” However, she does also confess that, “I would like to go into a show and not have to watch knives coming at my back. That would just be great!” Ouch. In related news, we hear Lisa Vanderpump may quit the show too, though Andy Cohen is reportedly battling hard to retain her services. Daylight Saving Time is harbinger of spring and a cause for celebration. It’s also inherently confounding for millions of Americans. Every year.
