Rick Ross Says Young Jeezy Beef Was A Misunderstanding Hopefully, other Hip Hop artists can learn it’s better to squash beef and get money instead of ending up like Biggie and Tupac. According to Rolling Out: Rick Ross and Jeezy fans were surprised when the two rappers, who had been feuding for years, finally set aside their differences. The pair appeared on the track “War Ready,” a song slated to be included on Ross’ upcoming album, Mastermind. In a new interview with Huffington Post Live, Ross dismisses the bad blood as just “misconfusion.” “It was a lot of misconfusion at the end of the day because me and him personally never had an issue and I think that was one of the reasons we were able to really resolve this problem because we never really personally had an issue,” Rick Ross says. “Amongst bosses, you know we like to call it ‘That rapper stuff.’ Real bosses get over that and that’s what we did and I’m happy we was able to do that and set the examples for some of the younger bosses that’s coming up and let ‘em know it’s all about making that positive progress.” “We had past differences and you know we put that to the side, being true bosses, and to do something big for the culture, which is bigger than both of us,” Rick Ross explains. “Here we have it, ‘War Ready.’” “MMG and Ricky Rozay, I’m expanding and getting bigger every day,” he adds. “It’s a lot of other entrepreneurs that’s doing the same and Jeezy is one, so it was just time for us to come together. Let’s capitalize and something big happen for the game, for Hip Hop for the culture and we may be doing something else. You never know.” Do you think their truce will last?

Despite his success, Vinylz is far from overconfident. In fact, when detailing his road to landing on Drake’s album the beatsmith says: “I didn’t even think I would make the album. Drake is very particular about the sound of his music, but we (himself and Toronto producer Boi-1da) didn’t get very much instruction on where to go. We did a lot of tracks and he didn’t really like any of them. We worked for like 2 weeks and we were literally about to get on the plane and head home, and he called us like ‘Yo, I just did something crazy over one of your beats.’” One of the years biggest songs, Jay Z’s “F***WithMeYouKnowIGotIt” is also a result of a collaborative effort with Boi-1da. “Orginally that song was a Rick Ross song, but when he played it for Jay, he knew it was something he needed for Magna Carta, so it just kinda happened like that.” Making music might be what propelled Vinylz career forward, but writing music has been a passion of his for a long time as well. As a rapper bearing the same name, Vinylz also has plans to step behind the mic and make his presence known as an artist with a soon-to-be-announced project. Young Jeezy has been arrested, again. The rapper was busted outside Atlanta and booked for obstructing police officers, according to multiple reports. Jeezy was arrested in Alpharetta, Ga., after officers responded to an alarm call at his girlfriend’s home. It is not clear who or what triggered the alarm. However, Jeezy was uncooperative with officers , refusing to identify himself, and allegedly cursing them out, which led to an ugly situation and an arrest. TMZ says that when asked for his name and ID, he replied, “F–k you, I ain’t telling you.” Always ends well. Then he attempted to pull away from the handcuffs. Another traditionally smart move, without a doubt. Jeezy was arrested earlier this month for battery, false imprisonment and making terroristic threats after a blowout fight with his son, so this is not new for him. He is currently in Fulton County Jail.
