Lady Gaga Sheds ‘So Many Tears’ Over New Tribute Video

‘You make me whole Little Monsters,’ she tweets about ‘Project Gaga 2010.’ By James Montgomery Lady Gaga Photo: Steve Thorne/ Redferns Last month, Lady Gaga took to her Twitter account to express her gratitude for a nine-minute “Happy Birthday” message created by her fans all around the world. “I’ve never cried so hard in 24 years, from pure joy and unconditional love,” she wrote of the YouTube video, conceived and edited by Gaga superfan Ryan James Yezak . “Tears still streaming.” Well, on Monday (April 26) she turned on the waterworks yet again, this time for a fan-made video called “Project Gaga 2010,” which featured her minions — the so-called “Little Monsters” — thanking Gaga “for giving us a voice.” “So many tears, [you] make me whole Little Monsters,” Gaga tweeted . “Without [you], I would have no voice. Thank you.” The clip, posted on Sunday, is the largest fan-made Gaga tribute video to date, featuring 268 Little Monsters from around the world (the U.S., U.K., Germany, New Zealand, Greece, Brazil and Italy, to name just a few spots) decked out in their Gaga-iest getups, holding up personalized signs thanking Gaga for inspiring them, providing them with the courage to be unique and, most of all, giving them a voice. “We have come here today to thank you, Mother Monster, for giving all of us a voice,” a voice-over at the beginning of the video states. “We thank you and salute you … for you have made us all free bitches, baby. Hail the Queen of Monsters. So far, the video has been viewed more than 35,000 times and early Monday morning the creators of the clip took to their Twitter account to thank Gaga once again — and share the love with the Little Monsters who helped make the project possible in the first place. “We did this video all together, like true monsters do,” the wrote. “We must have all had an amazing Mother Monster, Lady Gaga.” What do you think of the latest Lady Gaga tribute video? Oprah Winfrey to feature Justin Bieber and Charice on May 11

The May 11 episode of the Oprah Winfrey show is set to feature two young stars who both gained popularity through internet juggernaut wesbite, YouTube . 16-year old Justin Bieber , whose album My World 2.0 is currently #1 on the Billboard 200 Albums, is set to appear and perform.  He will be promoting the tour in support of his hit album which begins this summer. Bieber began his mainstream career after his YouTube videos were seen by former marketing exec for So So Def and now his manager, Scooter Braun.  Braun set him up to meet with Usher and Island Record execs where he auditioned, and the rest is music history. In one year since he released his first single, Bieber now has numerous Top 40 hits and a platinum album to his name. Charice Charice (full name Charice Pempengco) on the other hand, is fast becoming one of the music industry’s hottest new artists. She was recently described by The New York Post as the “newly crowned pop princess”, having performed alongside big name acts like Celine Dion, David Foster and Andrea Bocelli. Charice also gained popularity through YouTube. Hailing from the Philippines, she was invited to perform for major international shows like “ The Paul O’Grady Show”, “ The Ellen Degeneres Show ” and “ The Oprah Winfrey Show “. Her single “Pyramid” featuring Iyaz is currently #7 on the Billboard Dance Songs Chart, and she is set to release her debut album on Oprah on May 11,  a day after she turns 18. Facebook Downtime Caused Twitter Traffic

It is no surprise to hear people vexed over minor problems such as Facebook. In Twitter, hundreds of tweets have been tweeted that Facebook was down last Friday evening. The first reports of the widespread outage began at 5:40 p.m. Eastern Time. As of, 6:05 p.m. EST, the site still appears to be down. UPDATE (6:10 p.m. EST): Service seems to be restored for most users. Here are some sample tweets from tonight’s outage: athletetraining: I find it amusing that the day after Facebook “takes over the web”, they are down. Heh. TreeDiva: Is it just me or has Facebook gone down on the pst 5 min? I can’t access it with either browsers or my BlackBerry app. pennylane3: why is facebook down in the school library? its finals week, i need my procrastination It maybe amusing but to some people, Facebook is their life. According to Hitwise said that in US alone, Facebook is the most visited site which is followed by Google then Yahoo Mail falls on the third. Yahoo come fourth and Youtube is is surprisingly fifth.
