By now, you probably know the story well. Back in April, David Eason shot and killed Nugget, his wife's 11-pound French bulldog. At the time, he claimed the dog was too dangerous to live and somehow presented a threat to the health and safety of his family. Realizing this made no sense, he backpedalled on the story, and Jenelle told the public that the dog simply went missing. Now, Eason is finally manning up and admitting to what he's done. He thinks his confession will help his wife rebuild her reputation and hawk her cosmetics line. We think his timing couldn't be worse. Take a look: 1. The Monster and the Martyr In a fit of rage, David beat little Nugget before shooting him at close range with a shotgun. The appalling act made Jenelle’s pet an animal rights mascot. 2. A Brutal Scene David did all of this while his children were at home, and the ensuing CPS investigation resulted in the Easons losing custody of the kids who were still permitted to live with them. (They had each lost custody of one child already.) 3. House of Lies David claimed that Nugget attacked and bit his daughter Ensley. However, the only evidence he was ever able to provide was this photo — which shows no bite marks or damage. 4. Jenelle’s Choice Evans briefly left Eason over the incident, but she quickly changed her mind and decided to stand by him — even if it meant losing her kids. 5. Muddying the Waters Nugget’s body was never found by police, and Jenelle used this fact to try to obscure the facts of what really happened that night. 6. Yoyo is experiencing ageism from her own daughter, and A1’s mother tried it when she insinuated that it’s Lyrica’s fault that A1 ain’t treating her right. Let’s start with Yoyo. We know she has been helping other rappers work on their technique through her rap school, but she’s also planning a musical comeback. She basically described her comeback as being the Yoyo we know, but with modern sensibilities. That’s going to be interesting given the mumble app tendencies of today’s most popular hits. If anything, the fans that grew up with her might be interested in hearing what she’s working with…or maybe not. It really is a mixed bag because people are so finicky but also arbitrary these days when it comes to what entertainment they like. Plus, this culture is dominated by youth and that is where Yoyo’s pregnant daughter comes in because a lot of people may feel Yoyo should fall back. Yoyo’s daughter feels like mom is doing too much, and wants her to settle down. She obviously wants her mom to settle down for selfish reasons. She wants her mom around to play grandma and help with the baby. Instead of being tactful about it she says, “You’ve always been working, it’s time for you to settle down you’re a grandma.” Yoyo replies, “Girl bye!” And it makes you wonder, why can’t Yoyo have everything she wants? It’s possible for her to be working and a doting grandmother. Why are people so bothered when women of a certain age are still about pursuing their passions? Do you think it would be a different response if Yoyo were a man? Let’s fast forward a bit. The episode ends with Lyrica and A1’s dysfunction. They’re not happy and haven’t been for a while. They both initially said they were going to try to work it out but then Lyrica said she found out about more infidelity that A1 was dishonest about and this makes her not sure about their future. It doesn’t help that A1’s mother, Pam, steps into the fray and creates more chaos. Pam called herself stepping in to help and only made things worse. She especially tried it when she said, “Men do stuff because of women.” Then she added that Lyrica never cooks. Basically, she’s saying that A1 cheating is Lyrica’s fault. A1’s goofy self is there agreeing with his mother. Unfortunately, a lot of people have the archaic and baseless view that a failed relationship is the woman’s fault. However, it’s obvious that A1 and Lyrica both play a part in their issues. If they’re serious about working it out then perhaps a therapist (or even Marriage Bootcamp ) is the best option. But if not, they should probably move on instead of playing tit for tat games, and definitely keep the meddling mamas out of their business. Was A1’s mother out of pocket with her comments? Last month, Amy Duggar posted photos from her baby shower , and fans were quick to point out that something seemed seriously amiss. Though it appeared to be a well-attended affair, it looked as though none of Amy’s famous cousins were in attendance. As you can see, the first pic posted by Amt featured several close friends, but no Counting On cast members. Because everything the Duggars do is dissected within an inch of its life these days, Amy’s comments section quickly exploded with inquiries as to her cousins’ whereabouts. She didn’t employ the usual Duggar strategy of simply ignoring the comments entirely. But she also didn’t provide an in-depth explanation of why Jill, Jessa, and company were missing from her first pics. Instead, Amy simply posted a pair of new photos, including the one above, proof positive that a wide array of Jim Bob’s daughters were in attendance. It seems it was a joyous afternoon for all in attendance, especially Amy, who — while she’s admittedly terrified of giving birth — is said to be absolutely thrilled with the prospect of welcoming her first child. But as Amy’s second pic reminds us, the afternoon was bittersweet for one attendee. Joy-Anna Duggar suffered a miscarriage back in July, and thus, was not included in a photo that featured all of the Duggar women who are currently pregnant. When one fan inquired as to Joy’s absence, Anna explained that her cousin was forced to “leave early.” She did not provide a reason for the premature departure, but did praise Joy-Anna’s strength. “She is a beautiful person and is so strong,” Anna replied. “We all love her so much!” Many concluded that Joy-Anna decided to take off early as attending a baby shower so soon after her miscarriage proved to be more than she could handle emotionally. We may never know for sure, but it’s not hard to see how the afternoon might have been a profoundly difficult one for the 21-year-old. Meghan Markle has found herself in the hot seat once again. And this time it is all because she is too dang good of a friend! (seriously) After the Duchess made a secret getaway to New York City to watch her bestie Serena Williams play in the US Open, sources have now confirmed that the royals are royally pissed . According to Radar Online, the weekend of the Tennis Championship also happened to fall on the royal family’s Highland Games event at Balmoral Castle. Which Meghan was apparently “too busy” for, even though it was earlier reported by the Mail On Sunday that she and Prince Harry were set to attend the event. Hmm.. *sips tea.* Markle tried her best to keep her recent American travels on the DL as she quietly flew solo to NYC on Friday, successfully leaving on Sunday with little to no street paparazzi interferences, according to Page Six . A royal insider also shared that after Meghan’s talk-of-the-town baby shower , she learned her lesson. “After all the big fanfare of her [last NYC] trip for her two-day baby shower, where paparazzi followerd her every move and staked out The Mark Hotel to catch Meghan, her famous friends, and the array of gifts arriving, it seems Meghan has learned her lesson.” The poor girl just wanted to cheer on her bestie without being scrutinized! “She was in New York to support Serena, and catch up with a few other old friends, but was determined to keep everything low-key and as under-the-radar as possible,” shared the source. Unfortunately, it’s really not that possible. Instead, the whole world now knows that Meghan left baby Archie at home, boarded a (yep, commercial!) plane , took to the big apple, and in the royal’s minds she chose, once again, her famous friends over them. Dun, dun, dun… Scotland’s Braemar Gathering for the Highland Games — which includes a hammer throw and tug of war — has taken place for almost nine hundred years and it’s the royal family’s job to make an annual appearance to show their support to the competitors. They also take the time to enjoy a nice family vacay in Scotland while at the games. This event is an old-fashioned royal protocol and, once again, Meghan would rather not . And we do NOT blame her. While the Queen, her son Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, and other royals attended the event, Meghan and Harry’s spokesperson said they were “too busy” and Archie, at four months, was still “too young” to make the trip. Which only lasts 1 hour in flight duration… we’re seriously wondering what this couple will use to get out of wretched family events when Archie is too old to use as an excuse . The new mom, however, took the 3,500-mile flight to NY to sit in the stands to support her pal… which she did, in a very cute denim dress. Serena ended up losing the match to Bianca Andreescu of Canada, who walked away with the $3.85 million prize, but we’re sure it was still more entertaining than the ancient games taking place back in Europe. According to a source from The Mail on Sunday, the Queen felt “hurt” by Meghan’s absence as she intended to bring together her friends and family. And on top of her disappointment, the publication shared that the Queen is also “baffled” by Meghan and Harry’s lack of protocol. Yikes . To have the Queen of England “hurt” and/or “baffled” by you sounds like easily one of the most horrifying things, but on behalf of the Duchess, we’re proud of her for supporting her friend and for holding on to her life. Markle has been blasted too many times to count, from the British press dubbing her a diva to claims that she appears to be more comfortable hanging out with her celebrity friends than doing her royal duties. We may not know exactly who will be in front of the camera at the time. We may not know exactly whether there will be any new cast members. We may not even know from which city the series will be emanating. HOWEVER, we do now appear to know when some of the answers to these questions will be revealed. Despite no official word from TLC that Sister Wives has even been renewed for a new season, numerous sources and fans of the show are under the very strong impression that Kody Brown and his better halves will eventually be back on the small screen. There have simply been too many reasons to assume this will be the case, starting, of course, with the decent ratings the long-running franchise will manages to earn. Just a few days ago, however, a number of U-Haul trucks were also spotted on the family’s property in Flagstaff, Arizona. While we can’t say for certain what this means, one strong assumption is that these trucks are holding television equipment and that filming on Season 14 is underway. This would make a lot of sense, too, based on when we hear the series will return. Get your drums out, folks. Pick up a pair of sticks. And now get ready to put these items together to make a rolling sound — because the Sister Wives Season 14 premiere date is reportedly… JANUARY 7, 2020 . This would make sense for numerous reasons: Many new shows or seasons premiere early in a new year, following the holidays. Sister Wives Season 13 premiered in January 2019 and TLC did not confirm the exact date until December 2018. Most reality programs air footage that’s a few months old, meaning the timelines match up if shooting just started now and the episodes will air in January and beyond. The question of when Sister Wives comes back has been just one of many surrounding the Browns of late, of course. There’s also the question of whether or not Kody will even be married to all four wives by the time Season 14 rolls around. Meri has clearly been unhappy with the arrangement for years, most recently setting her sights on all the trolls out there who have taken issue with her outspoken personality. Even Robyn seems ready for a change, though, with rumors circulating that she just sold her rental property in Arizona. Tension between the women themselves seems to be at an all-time high, too, causing us to think this whole polygamous relationship may not last much longer. Then again, what is better for a reality show’s future than tension? This sort of thing is probably exactly what producers, executives and even cast members themselves want us talking about as we head into a new season. What sort of drama is on top? John Wesley, a long-time actor likely best known for his role on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, died Saturday after a long battle with multiple myeloma. He was 72 years old. Gerry Pass, Wesley’s manager and producer, confirmed this unfortunate news in a statement that read: John Wesley was a gift to the world, for his kindness and grace are immortalized in his works of theatre, TV and film. I am heartbroken to have lost a dear friend today. A veteran of the Vietnam War and a graduate of UCSD with a MFA degree, Wesley had over 100 roles in film and television on his resume… including an episode of the aforementioned sitcom where he played the father of a girl that bullied Will’s cousin, Ashley. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, of course, is the show on which Will Smith for his giant break. Wesley may be a familiar face to almost anyone who has watched television over the past couple decades, however. He also played Mr. Jim, the barber shop owner on Martin and the all-knowing janitor Willie on The Jamie Foxx Show. The actor’s dramatic TV guest roles included appearances on JAG, Hill Street Blues and In the Heat of the Night. Over the course of a very impressive career, Wesley worked with talens such as Denzel Washington, Albert Finney, Barbra Streisand, Tim Burton and Morgan Freeman. Here is a blurry photo of him acting alongside Smith: In the wake of Wesley’s passing, numerous stars, fans and organizations have taken to social media in order to pay tribute to the late actor. “We are honored to have had John Wesley at our festival. Farewell dear man. Journey well. We send our love with you. Thank you, John,” the Hollywood Women’s Film Festival organization wrote, for example. “We send our love to John’s family and to our beloved Michael Learned, our friend Producer Gerry Pass and the entire cast and crew,” the group added. A Facebook commenter also came across the news and wrote: “I actually cried reading the article only [because] his work was so moving and level of shows and tv is astonishing to say the least. Rest easy former army veteran may you find peace.” Wesley is survived by his wife, Jenny Houston; his mother, Hazel Baskin; his daughters, Kimiko Kamiel Houston and Kinshasha Houston; stepson, Kyler Richie; nine siblings and seven grandchildren.
