Superhero allure has grown more and more over the years. Every summer new caped crusaders tackle the big screen, with each one seemingly setting their own benchmarks for record sales. One of the most profitable superhero flicks in recent history, yes, even before the Avengers came and did their thing, was Black Panther. The first mostly black superhero adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe grossed nearly $1.3 billion globally, and currently sits as the 10th most lucrative big screen movie of all time. DC looks to be gearing up to capitalize off of that niche demographic as well, as reports are beginning to surface that the next Batman reboot will be the first of it’s kind. What people are forgetting to acknowledge is that the person pulling the strings on the whole operation is none other than Evelyn. Last week she sprung a lie detector test on Jackie to prove she wasn’t saying anything negative behind anyone’s back but the REAL lie here is that it was Evelyn talking about not being friends the whole time. To make it worse, this week had footage of Evelyn being sneaky. Yikes. Thankfully for her, Jackie confronted her peacefully about it all and things were handled with civility. Kelly’s transition from an international celebrity to a jailed accused pedophile has been anything but smooth. That’s according to court papers that the feds just filed in connection to his child sex abuse case, which reveals details of his life in prison – including the fact that he went through three different cellmates in less than two weeks. R. Kelly has been locked up since July in two simultaneous federal sex abuse cases where prosecutors alleged that he preyed on young women and girls for several years with impunity. He has pled not guilty and has been held without bail pending trial. Since being locked up, the feds described R. Kelly as being a nightmare inmate who has defied staff orders at least once and waffles between wanting to spend his days in general population and in housing for special needs prisoners. U.S. Attorney John Lausch said Kelly himself initially chose to stay in the special housing unit when he first arrived at Chicago’s Metropolitan Correctional Center because of perceived threats and there being “too many people” there.

But, Shay is sticking to her guns on certain things since she’s the one carrying the tot in her latest vlog. For example, Matte thinks Shay should give birth without any pain medication and he thinks their baby would be fine drinking formula. Shay is not here for any of that. Towards the end of the video, Shay makes Matte walk in her pregnant shoes — almost, literally. She makes his wear a fake pregnant belly that weighs 30 pounds while they go for a hike. After a turnover, the player responsible gets to wear the chain on the sideline in a feel-good celebration of the events. The chocolate brand has teamed up with famed jeweler Ben Baller (#BenBallerDidTheChain) for their latest activation, in which Ben created a fully iced out chain featuring a snickers “S” logo. If you aren’t familiar with Ben Baller, he is without a doubt the top jeweler in the game right now. His quality is unmatched, and players being able to wear a piece of his art is incentive enough. The new Snickers chain is going to make a weekly rotation to one player who left nothing on the field and displayed the most hunger for the win that week. In an age were activations are rarely making sense or moving people like they used to, its dope to see one that you know is going to have people talking and make some friendly competition just a little bit more competitive. Saying goodbye to a TV show is tough — especially when they end too soon. In most cases, the show is canceled because of ratings. But that isn't always the case. These 13 shows ended way too soon and deserved more time to bring the narrative to a close. 1. The Secret Circle – The CW The Secret Circle was canceled in its prime. The plot was intriguing, and it was backed up by a solid cast. It was let go after just one season, but that didn’t stop fans from campaigning to save it. 2. Santa Clarita Diet – Netflix This comedy series starred Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant as a realtor couple whose lives were rocked when one of them became a zombie. It was hilarious, garnered rave reviews, yet Netflix canceled it after three seasons with no conclusion. 3. Angel – The WB Angel lasted five seasons, but it deserves a place on this list because the fifth season finale effectively wiped the slate clean, and set up a war between our heroes and the villains of Wolfram & Hart. The war could have served as the final season. 4. Hannibal – NBC This brilliant drama series was saddled with low ratings and terrible timeslots from the get-go. It wasn’t a good fit for broadcast, but NBC could have at least tried to act like they cared about it. 5. Jericho – CBS CBS pulled the plug on high-concept drama, Jericho after one season. Thanks to relentless campaigning from fans, it was revived for a second season. However, it was canceled after that. 6. The Tomorrow People – The CW This show sucked for the first half of its first and only season. But just before the series concluded, it got good.
