Hannah Brown was hoping to have other plans this past weekend. Maybe she and Jed Wyatt would be choosing a band for their wedding. Perhaps she and Tyler Cameron would be grabbing dinner and then seeing a movie. In the end, however, Brown ended up all alone on Friday night for two unfortunate reasons: FIRST, Wyatt turned out to be a rotten dirty liar who basically had a girlfriend back at home throughout his winning run on The Bachelorette Season 15. As a result, once she learned the truth, Hannah ended the pair’s engagement and sent Jed packing. SECOND, Brown was seemingly all set to date her runner-up pretty seriously, only to go on one date with Tyler and then watch as multiple celebrity gossip outlets detailed his subsequent plethora of dates with Gigi Hadid . Ouch. Very tough break for Brown on that front. So this all brings us back to Friday evening… The former Bachelorette lead opened up to fans about how she’s doing following her dating drama from the show, sitting down and revealing a lot about herself in a social media discussion. “Hey ya’ll,” Hannah began in a series of videos on Instagram Stories on Friday, August 9, adding to those checking out this footage: “Thought we could just cozy up and have a long overdue Friday night chat.” The 24-year old beauty queen then detailed how she needed to shower, but that’s the “least of her concerns right now.” “But what I want to talk about is some of ya’ll are crazy,” she continued. “And Jesus loves you, so I’m trying to love you. But I feel like a lot of people are looking into anything I do – you know, breathe or post, anything – and looking for a cryptic message in there of how I’m doing.” Hannah has been trying to make it clear for the past two weeks that she really is fine. She is glad she discovered the truth about Jed and moved on and it’s not as though she asked Tyler to marry her. She asked him to get a drink… the two did get a drink… and now they’re both single, so whatever. “We are trying to figure out how we feel,” she said a few days after the first Tyler-Gigi sighting went viral. “I have feelings. But I’m also single. And he’s single. And I wanna keep my options open.” All true. Yet it still must sting to see Tyler dating a celebrity, right? In such a public manner no less? Yes, Hannah now admits. “How am I doing? I’ll let you know,” she said on Friday, explaining: “I have moments of mad, glad, happy, sad. I don’t know if you know this, but I just went through a s–tshow. Some of you watched, I lived it.” There are obviously worse things in life than what Hannah has gone through — but we do appreciate her honesty and we do feel for her. This isn’t the first time that the Bachelorette beauty has spoken about the difficulties surrounding her season and beyond. When she felt that fans were comparing her to Hadid, she wrote the following on her Instagram Story: “I am forever so thankful for the love and support you all show me,” she wrote last Wednesday evening, concluding at the time: “However, supporting me doesn’t mean you have to compare me to anyone else. “I want to make sure that we are all remembering to uplift other women and not tear them down. Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon have officially gone from paradise to perpetual bliss. So the semi-famous couple hopes, at least. The Bachelor in Paradise alums exchanged vows on Sunday evening in Rhode Island, People Magazine and other outlets have now confirmed, with Iaconetti speaking to this publication about the occasion and saying the following: “We freakishly agreed on everything. Growing up we had the exact same vision of our wedding, [doing] it as grandiose as it has become.” Added Haibon, whose dog Clark served as the precious and beyond adorable ring bearer: “We’re so accustomed to being together, and living together, that marriage is the obvious next step!” Among other beloved/well-known members of Bachelor Nation, People writes that Nick Viall, Dean Unglert and couple Jason Tartick and Kaitlyn Bristowe were in attendance at the event. It’s certainly been quite the journey for these two reality stars. Viewers met Iaconetti on Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor … and then were introduced to Haibon on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette. Both suitors advanced pretty far in their quest at those times to find a soulmate, but neither earned the final rose. However, they refused to give up on love and/or fame, appearing on the second season of Bachelor in Paradise. They did go on a date during this run of episode, only for Haibon to dump Iaconetti. who made it very clear during their initial time together that she was totally smitten with Jared. Still, the pair remained friends and even had a few romantic flings in the months that followed. Finally, in May of 2018, Haibon admitted that seeing Ashley with another man served as a “kick in the [rear end]” for him; it made him realize that he truly did want to be with Iaconetti. “I never felt like it was over between us after Paradise,” Jared said in a video the two filmed about a year and a half ago, adding back then: “I’m not gonna lie and say that I was in love with Ashley during BiP. It was a slow build for me.” About a month after this footage was shot, Jared proposed to Ashley — on a Season 5 episode of Bachelor in Paradise ! “There’s just this undeniable, magnetic force between the two of us that just is indescribable,” Haibon told People at the 2018 Nylon Young Hollywood Party, continuing at the time: “Love conquered.” Later, Iaconetti said the following to Bachelor alum Higgins during iHeartRadio’s The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast: “He is my person. He is my soul mate.” How very sweet, right? As for specific details from the wedding, courtesy of People? Iaconetti wore an Ines Di Santo ballgown she purchased from Lovella in Glendale and jewels from Brooke Rayn Jewelry. Haibon chose a tuxedo from Black Tux. They exchanged Neil Lane wedding bands. Iaconetti and Haibon served New England-inspired hors d’oeuvres and treated guests to a pasta bar during cocktail hour, prior to everyone tucking into traditional wedding fare by Blackstone Catering. American Idol alum David Cook serenaded the newlyweds for their first dance with “Ever the Same.” Dunkin’ Donuts also teamed with Banga Portrait Studio to provide custom edible photo donuts as an extra-special treat. Saaid Iaconetti: “Jared and I from the very beginning have been saying we don’t want our wedding to be a party. We want it to be a romantic experience!”
Bethenny Frankel wishes she did not need to take to Instagram yesterday. She wishes things were different. She really wishes August 10 would not be a date forever seared into her mind, for the most terrible and tragic of reasons. But this is reality for the veteran Bravo star and reality is that Bethenny’s ex-boyfriend, Dennis Shields, died one year ago yesterday. In his memory and in his honor, Frankel penned a heartwarming tribute to Shield online several hours ago. “One year ago today, I woke up to a beautiful sunny day with @biggysmallz by the pool, and my world crumbled and turned upside down in an instant,” the Real Housewife wrote to open a caption that accompanied the photo below. It continued: “A man Dennis, who I loved and respected, who was in my life for 30 years unexpectedly passed away.” Shields was found dead in his Trump Tower apartment last August. He was only 51 years old at the time and he had been in and out of Bethenny’s life for years; the two may not have been dating when Dennis actually died, but they remained very close. According to The New York Post, Shields passed away due to a prescription pills overdose. Referencing her two well-known dogs, Frankel continued in her tribute on Saturday: Dennis insisted we adopt biggy AND smallz for my daughter Peanut. He simply couldn’t imagine separating them. We racked our brains staying up late coming up with the perfect name for two dogs from the same litter with very different body types. Thing 1 & Thing 2 was an option but Peanut found it degrading. Lenny & Squiggy was a good one but I knew it would only appeal to the over 40 set. Then at 5am, Dennis was waiting for me to wake up and in his stronger than Tequila New Yawk accent said “BIGGY AND SMALLZ” and two stars were born. He loved these dogs and the feelings were mutual. They were particularly fond of his salty bald head. According to TMZ last summer, Shields told paramedics and police in his final moments that he had taken his prescribed oxycodone and Vicodin, along with a sleeping pill. He was simply trying to address persistent pain in his back. Alas, the combination of these drugs proved fatal in the end. Added Frankel 365 days later: “At times, it seemed like he and [the dogs] spoke the same language and they were the only ones who understood him. He was a loving, sweet, gentle, brilliant, complicated, hilarious, creative and supportive man. “He is missed terribly by so many but lives on in his friends and family and furry loved ones.” Concluded Bethenny: “I am a different person and in a different emotional place than I was a year ago, and the wounds have begun to heal but the scar will remain on my heart forever.” In closing, Frankel simply wrote: RIP, August 10. #Unforgettable May Dennis Shields rest in peace.
So much has happened this weekend in the world of celebrity gossip. Like, first of all, true love died when it was announced that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are divorcing after less than a year of marriage. Or, OK, it’s not that dramatic. It’s not like Miley and Liam were the perfect example of Hollywood romance, but their love story did go on for a very long time , and we just hoped they’d make it, all right? Sadly, it appears they simply were not meant to be. In a shocking statement a rep for the couple made to People yesterday, we learned that “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time.” “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers,” the statement continued. “They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart.” The rep wrapped things up by asking everyone to “Please respect their process and privacy.” And we would love to do that, we really would, but we just can’t do that right now. Not with everything else that’s been happening. As we said, the divorce announcement came out yesterday, and you know what else came out yesterday? Some photos of Miley kissing someone else. And not just anyone else, either, but Kaitlynn Carter — a woman who, just a couple of weeks ago, was known as Brody Jenner’s wife. This is shaping up to be one wild ride, right? So we heard about Brody and Kaitlynn’s split just earlier this month, and of course the news about Miley and Liam just came out this weekend — both splits are pretty darn fresh. That makes the photos of Miley and Kaitlynn together questionable, because could their relationship be the reason for the broken marriages? Source: Branimir76 / Getty Man Chokes His Teen Daughter Over Last Slice Of Pizza According to the Springfield News-Sun , an Arizona man is being accused of choking his 16-year-old daughter as they argued about a slice of pizza . Chipasha Luchembe, 41, faces nine counts of child abuse, four counts of aggravated assault police said they found a teenage girl with a bruised, swollen face, bruises to her abdomen and scratch marks on her neck. According to the police report, Luchembe said he “became upset” because he told his daughter to save him a slice of pizza. After he didn’t get his pizza, the girl said Luchembe splashed water in her face, slapped her “a couple of times” and put his hands on her neck. Luchembe allegedly pushed his daughter to the ground, punched her in the stomach, pulled her hair, spat on her and put her head in the sink. Luchembe also allegedly punched the girl in the face. The report adds that Luchembe “choked her to the point of where she passed out and urinated on herself.”
