Lost in the shuffle of all the breathless speculation about Super 8 , the double secret probation new project from director J.J. Abrams and executive producer Steven Spielberg, is the fact that the likely information about the film has been known for a week. Remember back to the simpler time of April 28, when Vulture reported that Abrams and Spielberg were teaming up for “a tip of the hat to [Spielberg’s] movies of the ’70s and early ’80s?” Well, based on the just revealed trailer description for Super 8 , that sounds pretty much exactly right. Just two weeks after suffering a subarachnoid hemorrhage, Bret Michaels is conscious, talking and even considering a return to the stage . For the first time since this medical scare, the rocker is opening up about the experience, telling People in its latest issue that he feels “lucky to be alive.” He details his initial visit to the emergency room, as a doctor asked Bret if he had kids. Michaels relays his response: “I said in these exact words, ‘Am I dying? If I’m dying, I want to see my kids, but if I have a chance, I don’t want them to see me in this condition.'” Bret is the father to Raine, 9, and Jorja, 5. The singer has left the ICU and is stationed at an undisclosed rehabilitation facility for physical therapy. Doctors expect him to make a full recovery, an impressive feat that typically occurs in just 10 to 20 percent of all cases. Rock on, Bret. Rock on for many more decades to come.

You know what that means: Simon Cowell placed Aaron in a tube sock, spun the 17-year-old in a lariat over his head, and threw him from his balcony to some primary school kids outside his gates. “Merry Christmas, filthies!” he grumbled, stocking cap bobbing wildly. Jason Pfeiffer, the former office manager of Michael Jackson’s dermatologist and friend, Dr. Arnold Klein, claimed about a week ago that he was MJ’s lover. That hasn’t exactly sat well with the late icon’s fans. Since coming forward to allege a gay affair with Michael Jackson, Jason Pfeiffer says he faces such intense death threats that he’s won’t stay in one place. All in vain. You know Joe Jackson will hunt him down. A source close to Dr. Arnold Klein – who flat-out said Michael was gay in a separate interview – and Jason Pfeiffer tells fans have directly threatened him. Jason Pfeiffer says he dated Michael Jackson until the day he died . Apparently, incensed Jackson worshippers have walked right up to Pfeiffer’s home and knocked on his door – and tracked him down at his friends’ houses. Guess Justin Bieber fans have some big shoes to fill. After Jason went public and the doc backed his story up, the homophobic and violent threats have poured into Dr. Klein’s office by phone, fax, and email. “I’m gonna put a bullet in your heads,” said one voicemail. Klein and Pfeiffer have hired bodyguards, and reported this to the FBI. Jason Pfeiffer is currently at a private location with friends … we can’t say where. You know what they say … it’s all fun and games until obsessed fans of a deceased music pioneer murder a gay office manager seeking 15 minutes of fame .

Celebrating her birthday today, Sidibe was born May 6 1983, will be celebrating her birthday with fun.  She told PEOPLE last Wednesday in initiative luncheon of American Cancer Society’s Choose You in New York “I’m going to get my nails done!  It’s fun to get a little pampered on your birthday.” Her birthday celebration is subdued, Sidibe wish bigtime for her natal day.  “I want an apartment,” she said. “I want an eccentric billionaire to buy me a Manhattan apartment!” Sidibe was recently hosted Saturday Night Live, she was able to impress the world for she can sing and dance as well.  “It was a lot of fun to get to do that because nobody really knew that I could sing,” she said. “Maybe people will think I’m now a triple threat.” Sidibe thinks she’d be perfect for a guest spot on Glee. “I love Glee,” she says. “I live and breathe for Amber Riley — as well as her character Mercedes.” “But I wouldn’t want to have a sing off with Amber because she’s actually a friend of mine,” she says. “She’s amazing and fun and it would be so cool to be on the show with her and hang out with the cast. Another judgment day has come for one of the American Idol Season 9 contenders. The journey has to end for one of the contestants following performances by the top five of Frank Sinatra songs. The five remaining contenders are Crystal Bowersox, Casey James, Michael Lynche, Aaron Kelly and Lee DeWyze. Who’s going home among these five contestants? The young blue eyes Aaron Kelly was sent home. He sang the song “Fly Me to the Moon” by Frank Sinatra but it might have not given him any advantage. Aaron was at the bottom two with Michael Lynche. But what scintillating, too-hot-for-TV content did they decide to axe? Why, an extended, ballad-y version of her hit “Bad Romance,” which ran about 1:15 in total length, and a few stray shots of Gaga’s posterior (usually cutting to a shot of her winsome violin player for coverage). Oh, and it appears editors also blurred out her left breast when she sprawled across the front of the stage during the “Alejandro” chorus. Scandalous, we know. And while the link Gaga posted is kaput, the “full-length” version of “Alejandro” quickly made its way around the Internet and can currently be seen over on Perez Hilton ‘s site, where the blogger writes that “Idol” producers made the cuts due to “time constraints.” MTV News’ request for comment from “American Idol” had not been answered by press time. Gaga herself didn’t actually address the edits, but earlier, she wrote on her Twitter page that she dedicated the “Idol” performance to her fans, saying “Tune in Little Monsters, Paws up!
