The Empire spinoff had the highest ratings of canceled series for this TV season. The series also starred Miss Lawrence , Luke James , Lance Gross , Brandy , Quincy Brown and Evan Ross along with plenty of high-profile guest stars including Lenny Kravitz , Naomi Campbell , Paris Jackson , Patti Labelle , Gladys Knight , Monica Brown , Quavo , Missy Elliott , Teyana Taylor . Most fans were left wondering what happened after the events of season 3, where the fate of multiple characters hung in the balance following a lavish wedding. Source: Paras Griffin / Getty Lil Durk Wanted For Shooting In Atlanta The Atlanta Police Department wants to have a lil talk with Lil Durk. According to TMZ , 12 is hot on Durk’s heels as they believe he has something to do with a shooting that took place a few months ago. Back on February 5, APD responded to a man who was shot in in the parking lot of Atlanta’s famous fast food restaurant The Varsity. The victim survived his gunshot wounds. Witnesses say that the man was in an argument with two other men. It appears that the cops think Durk was one of those men. There is currently an arrest warrant for him and there are a LOT of charges: …criminal intent to commit murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and another charge of associating with a criminal street gang to participate in a crime. Source: Pool / Getty R. Kelly Charged With Almost Dozen Additional Felony Sex Crimes R. Kelly is looking at some serious prison time if prosecutors can cross their t’s and do their i’s. According to the Chicago Sun-Times , Cook County prosecutors hit Kellz with ELEVEN new felony sex crime charges. If all of their shots were to hit the bottom of the net, Robert Kelly could rot in prison for up to 30 years. The new case charges Kelly with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, two counts of criminal sexual assault by force, two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, and three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against a victim between the ages of 13 to 16. All these charges stem from a January 10 incident. The four aggravated criminal sexual assault counts are all designated as Class X felonies that carry a potential sentence of up to 30 years in prison for Kelly if he is convicted. The four cases filed in February were charged as lower-level felonies that had maximum sentences of up to seven years. S#!t is getting real for ol’ boy. You love to see it.
Source: FayesVision/WENN.com / WENN Willow Smith Gets Requested To Direct An Adult Film Red Table Talk made headlines once again after a recent discussion revolving around porn, which came following Jada Pinkett Smith admitting she had an addition to watching the adult films when she was single. Now, it looks like Willow Smith caught the attention of some people within the industry after she stood up for pornography during the discussion with her mother and grandmother–so much so that now, she’s going to have the chance at full creative control of her very own adult film. According to a letter obtained by The Blast , Bree Mills, an award-winning adult filmmaker, thanks Willow for the “public statements you recently made about the negative impacts of stigmatizing porn.” She continues, “Adult films that are artistic and progressive provide an opportunity for people to explore and connect around issues of sexuality, which is very difficult to find in other aspects of today’s society and education systems,” adding, “This is something that, as a woman and an award-winning adult filmmaker, I take very seriously.” During the aforementioned episode of Red Table Talk, Willow does mention that she would be open to working on an adult project if it had artistic value, which seems to be exactly what is being offered. Mills is giving the youngest Smith the chance to “direct an adult film, digital series or documentary of your choosing,” and makes sure to add that she will have “full artistic control.” The adult filmmaker hopes that Willow will take her up on the offer, and “show the world that, just because a story has sex in it, doesn’t mean it can’t also be a worthy piece of entertainment.” As of now, Willow has not made any comments about the offer and it’s unclear if she will put any of this into fruition.
