New Episodes Beloveds… Watch The Super Trailer For Season 6 “Iyanla: Fix My Life” [VIDEO]

Source: Courtesy of OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network / Courtesy of OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network “Iyanla Fix My Life” Returns For 6th Season On OWN Iyanla is back y’all! “ Iyanla: Fix My Life” returns for Season 6 this Saturday, June 1st and if the super trailer is any indication, this one is a doozy! Here’s more details about the new season of “Iyanla: Fix My Life” In this dramatic new season of the series, the Mitchell family returns for more episodes in search of Iyanla’s help. In part one, Iyanla reunites with the family and finds that they have fallen back into old patterns: Michael, Jr. has gone back to making lewd videos, Markis’s guilt about failing his family has led to a suicide attempt and one sibling went MIA. In part two of this multi-episode story, Iyanla sits down with the oldest sibling, Kizzy, to help her understand that she is no different from the mother who abandoned her; meanwhile, Iyanla sits Michael, Jr. down with mother Leronda to gain a greater understanding of an untreated mental health issue – one causes emotional outbursts and spurs him to post degrading videos of himself on social media; and lastly, Iyanla addresses the violent breakdown during the previous episode between Marvin and Melvin around one brother’s discomfort with his own sexuality. In a final attempt to move beyond the burden of resentment they hold towards their mother and each other, Iyanla jumps in between the chaos of family squabbles, breakdowns and blowups by making each member face their core issues of deeply rooted mistrust. In subsequent episodes, Iyanla meets with a troubled young woman born in prison to a drug-addicted mother. Hours before being born, her 22-year-old father was notified he had a daughter on the way—a daughter that he was neither expecting nor sure he wanted. Lil’Karla marinated in a womb of “unwantedness” and grew up among family that she claims raised her in that same spirit, which she uses as an excuse for a lifetime’s worth of bad behavior. Also, Iyanla proves the old saying “If it’s not one thing, it’s your mother,” as she deals with two separate cases of manipulative women who will do anything in their power to control their adult children, followed by a couple who are desperately trying to save their marriage. Iyanla continues her work as she sits down with a father and his three sons – two of which he suspects are not actually his. YIKES… Sounds like a lot of family drama that many of us can relate to — or hopefully are blessed enough not to relate to. OWN is also launching a podcast version of its award-winning series “Iyanla: Fix My Life” available June 18 on Apple Podcasts. The “Iyanla: Fix My Life” podcast will feature previously aired content from the critically-acclaimed series’ most popular interviews featuring spiritual life coach Iyanla Vanzant, as she helps those who are struggling, guiding them toward a new way of living and encouraging them to do the work necessary for real change. “Iyanla: Fix My Life” podcast will roll out a new episode every Tuesday beginning on June 18 available on Apple Podcasts, including episodes with the following featured guests: former NFL star Chad Ochocinco Johnson and reality TV star Evelyn Lozada; popular radio personality “Sasha the Diva”; former “Real Housewife of Atlanta” Sheree Whitfield; rapper, actor and reality TV star Saigon; and reality television star Arica Adams, better known as “Hazel-E.” Sounds like a great way to refresh some classic content. Fake Penises, Drug Overdoses & Stripper Fights: 6 Explosive Revelations From Lamar Odom’s Memoir

The rest is here:

Source: Lou Rocco / Getty Lamar Odom is on a press run for his salacious memoir Darkness to Light and spilling all the tea from what has turned out to be a tell-all. He Thinks The Dennis Hof Tried To Kill Him Source: Bobby Bank / Getty Lamar Odom thinks the late Dennis Hofman, former owner of The Bunny Ranch, in Nevada where he overdosed in 2015, tried to kill him. “There was an unholy concoction of cocaine, cognac and cannabis coursing through my veins,” he wrote in a snippet from his book. “My heart stopped twice. I had twelve seizures and six strokes. My lungs collapsed and my kidneys ruptured. I was on life support.” Odom claims, despite overdosing, he didn’t willfully take any drugs and  would like to “clear his name.” Odom was found unconscious three days after checking into the famous brothel. “I think Dennis Hof… I don’t know what he had against me, but I didn’t do drugs that night, to be honest with you,” Odom said in a recent interview on The View. “So I don’t know if he tried to poison me, or … I don’t know what he had against me. He tried to kill me.” “He almost succeeded, though,” he said. “I didn’t [take drugs that night]. I’ve been at odds with my daughter [Destiny] about this. She’s like, ‘Leave it alone.’ I would like to clear my name.” He Dated Taraji P. Henson Source: Taylor Hill / Getty One of the most surprising details that came out of Odom’s memoir is that he once dated Taraji P. Henson, but ruined their relationship with his compulsive cheating. According to Odom, they were “secretly in love and dating.” “She was such a wise woman that she could see through whatever smooth act I was trying to put on,” he wrote. “She refused to be just another conquest, and truthfully, I didn’t want her to be.” “I don’t think I ever connected with another black woman as deeply as I did with Taraji,” Odom said of their relationship. “I felt guilty, but I was craving immediate sex,” he admitted. He Says Khloe Kardashian Fought A Stripper Over Him Source: Christian JENTZ / Getty Odom’s cheating had gotten so bad during his marriage to Khloe Kardashian, he says she caught him in the act at a hotel. In an interview with ABC News , Khloe, her mom Kris Jenner and their security guard barged their way into his room where Khloe attacked one of the women. “Khloe’s beating the s**t out of one of the girls who tried to protest. She’s dropping vicious blows all over the top of this girl’s head.” Odom says, he doesn’t know why Khloe stayed with him. “I had broken my vows with Khloé so many times it’s impossible for me to remember them all,” he wrote about his marriage in the book. “I don’t know why Khloé stayed with me.” He Threatened To Kill Khloe Kardashian Source: Gregg DeGuire / Getty Odom was so high on cocaine and ecstasy one evening, he was hallucinating and Khloe called his friends to intervene. The former Laker was paranoid and thought there were microphones in the walls so he beat down the walls with a golf club. According to his memoir, “I opened it suddenly and grabbed her forcefully by the shoulders, which frightened her.” He added. “What the f— are you doing?’ I screamed, out of my mind. ‘You trying to embarrass me in front of my friends? I’ll f—— kill you! You don’t know what I’m capable of!’” “I wish I could have been more of a man,” he told People , “It still bothers me to this day. But regret is something we have to learn to live with.” He Used A Fake Penis To Pass The Olympic Trials Drug Test  Source: Andy Lyons / Getty In one of the more odd revelations from his book, Odom claims he used a prosthetic penis to pass his 2004 Olympic trials drug test. “I unzipped my pants and carefully slid the fake penis through the zipper hole,” Odom writes in the book. “To get the pee to come out of the tip, I had to squeeze the shaft repeatedly.” Odom detailed the incident saying, “He stuck a thermometer in the cup to gauge the temperature … satisfied that the pee was mine, said ‘Welcome to Team USA.” Darkness to Light is available, here . Cardio-Contrary Cardi Defends Plastic Surgery, Says She Doesn’t ‘Have Time To Work Out’

Source: ENT / SplashNews.com Cardi B Speaks On Cancelling Shows Due To Plastic Surgery Complications “Y’all maaaaaaaaah annonying!” That’s the message that Cardi B is sending to fans who’ve criticized her for getting plastic surgery. As previously reported Cardi’s taking a break from scheduled concerts after doctors warned her that she needs to recover from recent liposuction and breast augmentation procedures. Now according to Belcalis, while she feels bad about canceling shows she understands the importance of taking care of her health even if that means she’s missing out on MILLIONS. “I hate canceling shows because I love money. I’m a money addict,” said Cardi during a recent Instagram Live. “And I get paid a lot of money, a lot of money for these shows. A lot of money. I’m canceling millions of dollars in shows, but health is wealth so I have to do what I have to do.” She also clapped back at people who criticized her for going under the knife. According to Cardi, she wouldn’t get the results she wanted from working out, so she HAD to get the procedures done. Source: ENT / SplashNews.com / Splash News Not only that, she’s a 24-hour entertainer so she doesn’t have time to “hit the gym like you, bro.” So there! “‘Oh you lazy, you should just work out’,” said Cardi mocking detractors. “I do whatever the f***k I want to do with my body. I don’t have the time of day like you do. My job as an entertainer is a 24-hour job, bro. So no I don’t have time to work out. I wanted specific things that I know that no matter how much I work out won’t get fixed.” She also said she still has stitches inside of her breasts and her doctor warned her that if something goes wrong with her recovery, they’ll, unfortunately, suffer the consequences. “So you know, you still got stitches in the inside—in my breast—so they slowly got to heal,” Cardi said. “Then on top of that my doctor was like ‘Yo, you can’t be doing all these shows because you’re not fully healed and if something happens you’re gonna blame me.’” Source: ENT / SplashNews.com / Splash News Fans are OF COURSE going in on Cardi for her “too busy” to workout comments considering that a certain superstar entertainer does it ALL the time. Beyoncé had twins through C- section, rehearsed everyday for Coachella, worked out everyday, breastfed twins, Cared for blue ivy, all within months. But cardi b doesn’t have time to workout, I have to laugh. — uche (@uche_chu_kwu) May 29, 2019 Now I love Cardi, but her saying she don’t have time to workout is bullshit. Don’t sit up on Beyoncé’s internet and tell that lie.. — Social Catepillar (@JahRenee) May 29, 2019 To each his own, we guess. See more exercise allergic Belcalis on the flip.
