The new mommy/RHOA alum was a guest on “The Real” this week and she talked her motherhood journey and the “conversations” she’s had about returning to “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Most importantly, however, she brought her beautiful baby girl Brooklyn Doris Daly out to make her television debut. Kenya’s uncle brought out baby Brooklyn and Kenya’s Detroit sister Loni Love was moved to tears. According to Kenya, baby Brooklyn is a “symbol of hope” for women who want to have families. Mind you, Kenya gave birth to baby Brooklyn at 47. How…cute…is…baby…Brooklyn?! Kenya also showed off her daughter’s adorable footwear. Quincy Jones’ daughters both confirmed their mother’s passing in a joint statement to the Los Angeles Times. “She made her journey peacefully with her daughters and nieces by her side,” said Rashida and Kidada. “We feel so lucky for every moment we spent with her.” “We can’t put all of our feelings into words right now, but we will say: Peggy was and will always be our beacon of light, both in this world and beyond,” they added. “She will always be a part of us.” Lipton was 72-years-old. The “Mod Squad” actress who wed Quincy Jones in 1974 stepped away from her career to focus on raising a family. The pair divorced in 1989. Elliott and Timberlake, along composer Alex Lacamoire, were honored for their “influences in music and for their enduring global impact,” according to reports from E! News . Source: ANGELA WEISS / Getty Blac Chyna Allegedly Pulled A Knife On Her Stylist During An Altercation According to TMZ , Blac Chyna allegedly had an altercation with her stylist & Chyna allegedly pulled a knife during the dispute. The stylist and Chyna were reportedly at Chyna’s San Fernando Valley home when the two got into a tussle over money that former video vixen allegedly owed. According to police reports filed by the stylist, Chyna then pulled a knife on her after the stylist asked her to cough up the cash. The hairdresser also allegedly left the scene and threw soda cans at Chyna’s car. Chyna’s 6-year-old child, King, was present during the fight prompting the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services to get involved and investigate the dispute.

The Crenshaw based apparel store officially closed its doors earlier this week, but Hussle fans have been buying everything & the kitchen sink through the online platform. According to a report from XXL , The Marathon has cashed out over $10 million of sales since Nip’s murder. The store’s best-selling items are hoodies, hats, and t-shirts can’t be restocked fast enough. For his next project, the South Carolina-bred actor will take on the role of the first African samurai, Deadline reported. Chadwick Boseman To Play African Samurai ‘Yasuke’ In Deal With Picturestart, De Luca Productions, Solipsist & X●ception Content https://t.co/tf7rNhfVoN pic.twitter.com/ChjCsdj5aK — Deadline Hollywood (@DEADLINE) May 7, 2019 The film, titled Yasuke , will capture the unsung journey of a 16th-century samurai who hailed from Portuguese Mozambique. Yasuke—who was uprooted from his homeland and forced into slavery—is believed to be the first Black man to enter Japan. The movie chronicles the cultivation of a friendship between him and a warlord named Oda Nobunaga. After building a friendship Nobunaga honored Yasuke with the samurai title; one of the highest honors in Japanese culture. Doug Miro will serve as a writer for the film and it is being produced by Mike De Luca , Stephen L’Heureux , Logan Coles and Boseman. Boseman is excited to use his artistry as an avenue to bring Yasuke’s story to the forefront. “The legend of Yasuke is one of history’s best kept secrets, the only person of non-Asian origin to become a Samurai,” he said in a statement, according to the news outlet. “That’s not just an action movie, that’s a cultural event, an exchange, and I am excited to be part of it.” There is no word on when the film is slated to be released. There have been a few efforts to shed light on Yasuke’s story through pieces of literature and a Netflix anime series produced and directed by LeSean Thomas featuring the voice of Lakeith Stanfield . Barris also stars and will produce under his Khalabo Ink Society banner as part of his overall deal with Netflix and a writers room for the single-camera comedy launched last week.
