Source: Newspix / Getty Kevin Hart Does First Interview Since His Car Crash Kevin Hart appears to be getting back in the rhythm of his work flow. Earlier this week, the actor and comedian posted a heartfelt video to Instagram, thanking everyone for their support. More importantly though, the video showed fans the long road ahead along with a small portion of his recovery process and, to be honest, it looks just as painful as you’d imagine. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kevin Hart (@kevinhart4real) on Oct 29, 2019 at 8:51pm PDT Earlier this summer, Hart was involved a car accident in his customized muscle car, which required immediate back surgery. The car in question includes a boosted Dodge Hell Cat motor–If you are not familiar with that motor, just think about almost any rap song. It’s what all the young, rich rappers want because quite frankly, it is fast as HELL. But luckily, while everyone was prepared for Kevin’s situation to become a big legal mess with everyone involved lawyering up , it seems that those involved are just focused on getting back healthy and to 100%. Since the wreck, the comedian hasn’t done any interviews or spoke publicly, other than the Instagram video he posted above. At the moment, it looks like he’s focusing on getting back to work, as his upcoming project J umanji (The Next Level) dropped its first official trailer–which means it’s about time to promote. The only real appearance we’ve seen of Kevin since the crash was a mysterious meeting with Jay Z, Rich Paul & others at AVRA Estiatorio in Beverly Hills. View this post on Instagram Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter, Kevin Hart, Klutch Sports Group founder and sports agent Rich Paul, and the President of Black Music for the Atlantic Records Group Mike Kyser, photographed at the end of a meal at the AVRA Estiatorio in Beverly Hills on Monday evening. Hov and his crew spent three hours at the high-end Greek restaurant, with the party also including LRMR marketing agency co-founder Maverick Carter and Irv Gotti. The group shared a meal together and played a few rounds of poker at their table before Hov escorted his friend Kevin out the back of the restaurant to help him avoid the paparazzi. This is the first time Hart has been seen in public since he was involved in a near-fatal car crash on September 1. #JAYZ @kevinhart4real @richpaul @littleburger @avrabeverlyhills A post shared by Hovstorian (@aintnojigga) on Oct 23, 2019 at 7:54pm PDT With that being said, it was only a matter of time before TMZ finally caught up with Kevin Hart. He seems to be in good spirits and was even down for the paparazzi talk. But hey, after weeks cooped up in the house, we would be dying to talk to anyone who would listen, too. Luckily, it looks like Kevin Hart is almost at 100% and ready to return to work. Check out the interview here . Source: Kevin Winter/NBCUniversal Getty Images Entertainment / Getty Trevor Noah Blast Kanye West For His Hypocrisy No matter what you’ve read or watched these past few weeks, the constant has been Kanye West being loud and wrong about politics–even going as far as sporting the MAGA hat 2.0 he created to call Trump his “father figure” . Just when you thought he was seeing the light and was going to keep quiet while doing his weekly Sunday Service , he announced a new album. And of course, with that new album, comes more of Ye talking out of his azz. For example, his new interview with Beats 1 host Zane Lowe, in which Lowe had to demand he stop referring to his fans as “Liberals” at every turn. Then, Kanye spilled the details of not letting his staff have premarital sex while working on his album . Throughout this and other interviews, Kanye details his newfound relationship with God, which according to him, got him a $68 million dollar tax return , along with explaining how he looks at things differently now–Especially throughout Hip-Hop culture and social media. Basically, he’s going around trashing everything we loved about him before along with all of Hip-Hop culture and the people who created it. These facts rubbed damn near everyone the wrong way, but one person who has the platform for it decided to use it to air out Kanye and his hypocrisy throughout the MAGA inspired propaganda he’s been spewing. Trevor Noah decided to take some time on The Daily Show to air out his problems with the things Kanye West has had to say as of late. Of course after the Beats1 interview, Big Boy Interview, Car Pool Karaoke, and even past Sunday Service rants he had plenty to work with to make his point. “I was watching that, and I was like, are you sh–ting me? Like, of all people. I’m not saying everything he’s saying is wrong, but you are gonna say it? You, as Kanye West, are gonna talk s–t about other rappers talking about buying ‘foreign?’” “You’re saying that 70, 80, 90% of Black people who are voting Democrat, their brainwashed? So you’re saying you’re the only person who’s enlightened, and all these Black people are stupidly following this Democratic-victim?” “The fact that these people are brainwashed, or the fact that, in America, you have to vote for the system that gives you the best chance? You only have two choices, and that does make it weird, but you only have two choices, and if you are a Black person you go, well, I’m going to vote for the choice that gives me the best chance of success.” These quotes are just the tip of the iceberg, as Trevor had a full 5-minute rant for Mr. West. Check it out in its entirety down below.
Source: Elizabeth Fernandez / Getty Florida Teen Accused Of Trying To Hire Hitman To Kill A School Facility Member According to the Tampa Bay Times , an 18-year-old high school student is facing first degree solicitation to attempt murder charges after offering $100,000 for a hit on a high school staff member . Nicholas R. Godfrey was arrested after an Instagram account with the request for “a guy who could kill someone” was traced to a computer IP address at his home. Godfrey reportedly offered $100,000 to another student to clap unnamed Fivay High staff. Godfrey reportedly messaged: “No joke, I need him eliminated as soon as possible,” Authorities are still scratching their heads as to why he sent the request, as the teen had no known past problems with the staff member, who was provided protection as a precaution. Godfrey later confessed that he was only joking. “It doesn’t matter what the intent was,” the sheriff said. “When you do it and post it on social media, the crime is committed.” Godfrey is now sitting in a county jail.
Source: Alex Trautwig / Getty Reports Show Trump’s Border Wall Isn’t Working According to The Washington Post , mexican drug dealers have repeatedly cut holes all up and through Trump’s border wall by using commercially available power tools, opening gaps large enough for people and drug loads to pass through. U.S. agents have reportedly confirmed “multiple breaches” to sections of the wall. Smugglers are easily using cheap saws to cut holes in the base of the wall and then are able to push the 18- to 30-feet tall posts to the side, making it possible for people and contraband to go through the structure. Officials are dumbfounded after Trump proclaimed the wall “virtually impenetrable”. But smugglers are finding ways to easily get through, whether it be climbing lower sections with makeshift ladders or by cutting holes in weak points of the structures.
B eauty entrepreneur Courtney Adeleye —the woman behind the brand The Mane Choice—has broken barriers in entrepreneurship and her 5-year-old daughter is following in her footsteps. According to Black Enterprise , Adeleye’s daughter Lily Adeleye recently became the youngest CEO to have her company’s products sold at Target. “Being the first Mother/Daughter duo to hit shelves in one of the largest retail stores in the world is still surreal to us. It’s history.” @CourtneyAdeleye https://t.co/2I57JcL8j3 — Black Enterprise (@blackenterprise) November 1, 2019 With the help of her mother, the youngster cultivated a brand dubbed Lily Frilly. The brand was created to empower young girls. Lily Frilly sells a variety of products including backpacks, dresses, lunchboxes and bows which can now be found at Target. “From the time Lily was 3, I knew then she had a business mindset. At an early age, as she watched me build a successful business from the ground up, it exposed her to many possibilities and goals, so with that, we didn’t wait until she was an adult to help her pursue them,” Adeleye told the news outlet. “Many people don’t understand the importance of instilling ‘the NOW’ into children. Not in all situations do you have to wait until you’re older to pursue your dreams. Lily Frilly believes that children have the ability to meet their full potential at an early age and we hope people see our story as an inspiration to be innovative and step outside of the box.” The mother-daughter-duo is also using the brand as an avenue to create spaces for mothers and their children to connect by hosting kid-friendly networking and empowerment events. Young Black entrepreneurs are landing major deals with national retailers. 12-year-old business owner Gabrielle Goodwin —who founded GaBBY Bows— landed a deal with Target to have her products sold at 74 of their stores across the country. Earlier this year, 18-year-old beauty entrepreneur Zandra Cunningham inked a deal with the retailer to sell her brand’s beauty box in their stores. We have some real drama between two cast members on The Real Housewives of Orange County. We’re talking about some real serious legal drama here. In a surprising turn of events, Vicki Gunvalson has filed a lawsuit against her fellow Bravo colleague, Kelly Dodd, accusing her rival of making defamatory statements toward her. According to documents filed on November 1, Gunvalson is irate over allegations hurled in her direction by Dodd, most notably such quotes as: You prey on older people , You are a con woman and You engaged in fraud . Initially, Vicki included Bravo and its parent company, NBCUniversal, in the complaint — but she later dismissed both the network and the company from the lawsuit. We’ve obviously heard of plenty of Real Housewives getting all angry over what someone else said on air or in some interview about her. But this is the time we’ve heard of actual legal action being taken in response. The 57-year old Coto Insurance CEO claims the allegations Dodd made are false and that they could “damage her reputation and livelihood,” negatively affecting her career outside of the series if the network airs them on national television at any point in the future. To be clear, the episode during which Dodd says these things about her foe has not yet aired. Gunvalson is seeking an injunctive relief and damages, stating that she doesn’t want the entire episode to be pulled from the air. However, she is demanding that producers remove the remarks Kelly made about Vicki being a “con woman” from the installment in question. This lawsuit, of course, is brand new. But tension between Vicki and Kelly has been lingering for several months. Dodd told Us Weekly in August that she will “never, ever, ever” be friends with Vicki after she accused her of doing cocaine during season 13. Kelly pushed for Vicki to be fired at the time. “I think that she uses everybody as a story line. She doesn’t really have anything in her life,” Kelly said last year, adding: “You know, her kids are gone, her grandkids are gone. It’s just her — what are we going to watch her and [fiancé] Steve [Lodge] drink wine on the couch?” Gunvalson was demoted to a “friend” role for season 14. But this didn’t stop her and Dodd from engaging in several arguments . “If Kelly had a job and went to work every day like I do, she wouldn’t have time to constantly throw stones at others,” Vicki said in August. “She really needs to worry about herself.” We can also now confirm that The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion will be filmed next Friday, November is 8. Both Dodd and Gunvalson are expected to attend. View Slideshow: Kelly Dodd: Vicki Gunvalson is a Freaking Psycho Pig Bish C–t!!
Rudy Boesch, one of the best-known contestants in the history of Survivor, has died after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was 91 years old. Boesch, a breakout star during Survivor’s very first season, was a former Navy Seal. He was cast back in 2000 at the age of 72, finishing the season in third place and quickly became a fan favorite due to his lovably cantankerous persona. Tweeted Rudy’s ally from that memorable run on the series, after learning of his death: “Ours was an interesting bond, Dear Rudy! You and I helped open minds and undermine predjudces [sic]. While your time here has passed, you will remain loved and iconic, dear friend!” Rudy served in Vietnam and earned the Bronze Star Medal for heroic action. He retired from the military in 1990, a decade before becoming the oldest player to ever compete on Survivor. That first season, of course, was such a huge hit that CBS has since ordered 37 more. After the debut season of Survivor, Rudy made an encore on Survivor: All-Stars in 2004. Boesch married Marjorie Thomas in 1955, and they had three kids. They remained married for 53 years, until her death in 2008. During season 1, Boesch’s closest friend was Hatch, the openly gay corporate trainer who ultimately won the show. It was an unexpected alliance… to say the least. “Rudy Boesch and I both served our country in the military: he in the Navy, and I in the Army,” Hatch told People Magazine, adding: “But Rudy also served our country as an example of honesty and open-mindedness by respectfully engaging and aligning with me, an openly homosexual man, to play Survivor on the world stage.” Survivor: All Stars contestant Rob Cesternino also recalled his friendship with Boesch to People. This is what he said: Rudy was my roommate for weeks on our trip to Argentina after we both were voted out during Survivor: All-Stars. I would hang on his every word because he was would tell and re-tell all these amazing stories with his unique combination of brutal honesty and a razor-sharp wit. I’ve never met anybody who could ever make me laugh as much as Rudy. Funeral arrangements for Boesch have not yet been announced. He’s the latest ex-Survivor star to pass away, following Jenn Lyon, who placed fourth on Survivor: Palau, who died in 2010 after a six-year battle with breast cancer. Original Survivor contestant BB Andersen passed away of brain cancer in 2013 at age 77. In 2014, 26-year-old Blood vs. Water contestant Caleb Bankston was killed in a railway accident. Survivor Gabon contestant Dan Kay died in 2017. And Survivor: China’s Ashley Massaro died of suicide earlier this year. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2019: In Memoriam
