Dre will reportedly receive a tribute from the Producers & Engineers Wing of the Recording Academy on Jan. 22 at Village Studios in Los Angeles before the Grammys ceremony. With a storied career, making classics with the likes of Eminem, 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, and N.W.A, Dre has won a total of six Grammys. Three were for his work as a producer or engineer, while the others were as a rapper. He not only made history musically, he also raised the bar with some of his business ventures with Beats and Apple Music. Congrats Dre!

Hundreds of New Yorkers gathered in Downtown Brooklyn on Friday night to protest against the aggressive policing of the subway system. Approximately 1,000 demonstrators marched across the main avenues to protest, according to reports from PIX11 . One chant included protestors yelling, “hands off black kids, NYPD,” responding to the recent incidents of police brutality. Beat people up who can’t afford to pay the fare.” During these protests, no arrests were made, although there were some reported acts of vandalism. These demonstrations occurred just days after videos showing NYPD officers using excessive force on train stations went viral. One of the videos showed NYPD pointing their guns at a young man who was sitting in a packed subway car. Other passengers flee as the teenager puts his hands up in the air and asks someone to call his mom. A few moments later, a group of officers stormed the car, throwing the teen on the ground and placing him in cuffs–all because he allegedly skipped the MTA’s $2.75 fare . Nicki Minaj had yet another episode of “Queen Radio” this week and she SLAMMED Wendy Williams on the show over comments Wendy made about Kenneth Petty. As previously reported Wendy snarkily said that Nicki married a killer” and a “sex offender” while offering her congratulations on her recent nuptials. Kenneth Petty is a registered sex offender in New York and reportedly was convicted of attempted rape in 1995. He also served seven years for manslaughter after pleading guilty to the shooting death of a man in 2002. According to Nicki, Wendy’s comments crossed the line and she ethered the host as “demonic” and vicious” on Queen Radio. “It’s not about doing your job,” said an angry Onika. “There are people who report the news and there are people who do it with an evil intent in their heart, viciousness. After Amber Portwood was arrested back in July for assaulting Andrew Glennon, things have been pretty darn crazy. There have been court dates, leaked recordings, so many accusation of so many wrongdoings … It was a little overwhelming for us, so we can't imagine how intense it was for Amber and Andrew. But earlier this week, Amber took a plea deal and the case was closed — we already knew that. What we didn't know is that Andrew read a statement about his experience with Amber in court … a statement that has been released in its entirety. So let's check it out! 1. So Much There’s a whole, whole lot to discuss here, so let’s get the recap out of the way real quick, OK? 2. The Arrest Amber was arrested in the wee hours of the morning on July 5th after chasing Andrew, who was holding baby James, around the house with a machete. She was charged with three felonies, including domestic battery and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. 3. Lots of Leaks It’s taken nearly four months for the case to be settled, and in that time several recordings were leaked that proved Amber emotionally and physically abused Andrew, often in front of James. 4. Denial At first, Amber denied everything except beating him with a shoe the night she was arrested (which, you know, is still assault). She accused him of cheating on her and made fun of him for texting 911 that night instead of calling or just running away. Eventually she wrote off all her horrible actions by saying it was because of her postpartum depression. 5. Wild On Thursday, she officially accepted a plea deal at her final court hearing. She was sentenced to probation for two and a half years — as part of the probation, she can’t leave the state, she has to take weekly drug tests and be evalutated for mental health issues and substance abuse problems. 6. Questionable Andrew’s no contact order against her still stands, but she’s been granted three unsupervised visits with James every week, which seems odd. View Slideshow

He entered the race earlier this year, nearly defeating Texas incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz in the 2018 midterms but struggled to gain traction in the massive Democratic primary field. According to “The Source” , his Raytroniks Corporation reportedly signed a deal with LoopShare, for their ScootEBike brand with Ray J milking the deal for about $34 million and over 18 million common shares in LOOPShare. LoopShare is a ride-sharing company that specializes in sustainable urban transportation. This deal will surely take his company to the next level when ScootEbikes hits the streets in 2020, with digital dashboard services and technology unlike any bike-sharing company on the market.
