As of this writing, Sister Wives has not been canceled by TLC. But it seems very much as if the man at the forefront of this long-running reality show has finally been canceled by two of his cult members better halves. Allow us to explain… On Wednesday, August 7, Meri Brown posted a video of herself driving out of Flagstaff, Arizona, where she has been residing for months with her polygamous husband and sister wives Janelle, Christine and Robyn. She revealed in this post that she is bidding farewell to the town the family moved to last August. “Saying goodbye to Flagstaff,” Meri explained, as you can see down below. “It’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you later.” As veteran fans of this polarizing series likely know, Meri has been renting a resident in Flagstaff since August 29, 2018. Now, Radar Online has reported that the home is on the market for $870,000. What does this mean for Meri and Kody? We can’t say for certain. But their marriage has seemingly been on very thin ice for a very long time now. Just this past March, for instance, Meri basically said she was sick and tired of being a sister wife. This admission came years after Kody actually divorced her (in order to marry Robyn — more on her below — and adopt her kids) and about three years after that very embarrassing catfishing scandal . On this spring’s Sister Wives Tell All special, Meri and Kody talked about starting over and giving their relationship another shot… … but then Meri was spotted getting close to some dude named Brandon Stone . Here is a photo of the pair from July: Meri has also been open about her dislike of Arizona. Remember this Instagram post from April? “Yesterday I had this overwhelming emotion of missing Las Vegas, the place I called home for nearly 8 years. I mean, I was really, really sad for not living there anymore. So much life there, so many friends. It was home for me. I loved it.” Moreover, Meri hasn’t shared a photo of herself and Kody since January. “We have a commitment to a marriage,” Kody said on the aforementioned TLC special, adding of himself and Meri: “We’re moving forward. We’re steadily working on a direction that’s fully mended.” Added Meri in this same sit-down: “It was not moving in a positive direction for a really long time prior to the realization. From that point he and I and everybody had to figure out what we really wanted and move forward from there.” Kody then said the lovers are working on a “new beginning.” Fair enough, but maybe now also false. It sounds like Meri is simply ready for it all to end. This, as outlined above, should not come as a shock to anyone that’s been paying attention. But Robyn? Is she also done with Kody? If so, prepare for all jaws to hit the floor in stunned uniformity. Radar Online also reported this week that reveal Kody’s fourth — and presumably favorite — wife has also put her Arizona home on the market. As noted previously, this may come as a surprise to some Sister Wives fans, but you therefore ought to stop and ask yourself: When was the last time you even heard from Robyn? She’s been skipping family functions and vacations and grew frustrated with her husband this past season when he couldn’t promise that Arizona would be the family’s permanent home after moving from Utah to Nevada… and then Nevada to Arizona in August 2018. For the record: Robyn rented a five- bedroom home when the clan moved to Flagstaff last year. Radar writes that it put on the market on May 2, 2019 for $975,000 and was officially sold on August 1, 2019 for $925,000. Again, we do not know for sure what all this means. Not for Kody, Robyn, Meri or the future of Sister Wives as a television program. But it doesn’t sound very promising for anyone involved, of that we’re confident saying. Could this also explain why Kody is allegedly in the market for a fifth wife? Probably. We also hope it explains why no woman should ever want to become that fifth wife. It’s been a long and winding road, but she finally made it. After years of being passed over for a promotion by the network that made her semi-famous, Mackenzie McKee is officially a member of the Teen Mom OG cast . But it looks like she may have shown up to the party a bit too late, as the show might not be long for this world. According to new reports from Radar Online and TV By the Numbers, Mackenzie has thus far proven insufficient to the task of saving the sinking ship. As we’ve reported in the past, Teen Mom OG ratings have been on the decline for quite some time. Viewership took a serious nosedive when Farrah Abraham was fired from the show back in 2017, and despite producers’ best efforts and some serious cast tinkering, they have yet to recover. It was hoped that McKee would do for the show what Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd were unable to accomplish. But according to the latest figures on Mackenzie’s debut episode, ratings are still inching in the wrong direction. The show’s June 10 season premiere brought in a respectable 990,000 viewers, but that number sank like a stone in the weeks that followed. On June 17, the show pulled in just 868,000. The next week, that number dropped to 849,000. By July 22 episode, the show was down to just 658,000 viewers, a series low. Mackenzie’s debut episode fared slightly better than that, pulling in 693,000 viewers. But the show’s numbers were still down from the week before, meaning the experiment was essentially a bust. The news no doubt comes as a surprise to producers, who figured Mackenzie was a safe bet, as she’s well-liked by fans and has no shortage of drama in her life. Mackenzie’s mother is fighting cancer , and the family’s strength in the face of adversity has gained them large followings on social media. On top of all that, Mack’s marriage has been beset by allegations of infidelity. “Before we were married, we were unfaithful to each other and lied,” McKee told a friend in her debut. “But when that happened we were fighting, nothing was rock solid. We are rock solid now. That’s why this hurts more than any time in the past. Is he 1 percent of who I think he is?” Naturally, Farrah is loving every second of the show’s slow decline, as she predicted it when she was fired. “No one is believing the fake storylines,” she said. “These other parents are super fans of the OG girls and have been fans, planned pregnancy is not what Teen Mom OG was about and now it’s okay to keep planning pregnancies to get on TV? Sad mainly for the children.” As with any statement from Farrah, only about half of that makes any sense — but she sort of has a point. Developments like Amber Portwood’s domestic violence arrest might make for good tabloid fodder, but as far as TV goes, it seems fans are simply over it. THG readers know that we love Amy Roloff . We adore her social media, her books, her food, and her smile that lights up a room. We’ve also followed Amy’s romance with Chris Marek closely, which makes her recent NSFW caption so much more entertaining. In an otherwise innocuous post about pizza, Amy shared a little TMI. Take a look: “Afternoon delight,” Amy’s captions for this black-and-white photo begin, followed by music note emojis. She writes that she is “taking a rare moment in the middle of the day just to hang out.” Amy took the snap “at one of my favorite places downtown Hillsboro @pizzario, w/ Chris.” They were there to eat “and talk, appreciate each other and the day. It was wonderful!” Amy is “all about making moments [together].” As you can imagine, a number of fans raised their eyebrows at “afternoon delight.” If you’re not aware, the term is a widely used euphamism for sex in the middle of the day. When one fan asked, Amy replied: “now now … that didn’t happen.” “It’s in a song,” Amy acknowledged. “But can’t remember all the words.” Literally no part of the lyrics is at all subtle about the subject matter. The song’s about boning. “Anyway,” Amy continued in he reply. “That didn’t happen.’” Just a couple of weeks ago, Amy shared a brunch photo of her with Chris — with a much less suggestive caption. “Sunday brunch with Chris,” Amy announced on Instagram. She admitted: “I was bummed my offer on a house got rejected.” “I was thankful Chris was with me,” Amy expressed. “And the comfort he gave to just quietly help me to let it go.” “And,” she continued. “Tell me there’s going to be another house I can make a home.” Amy may have been feeling down, but she knows her coping strategies. “One way for me to get out of a rut is to cook,” Amy shared. “So,” her caption continued. “We had a nice quiet wonderful Sunday having brunch,” Amy truly enjoyed Chris and “a cup of coffee, and just being together.” “Thanks babe,” she concluded. “Life is still good.” Amy has gotten a lot of grief — even from her own fans — for her relationship with Chris Marek. Some fans were “convinced” that he was just out to scam Amy out of her reality TV money. Others insisted that he “must” be after fame. Some of these fans were just attached to Amy and Matt as a couple and were having trouble letting go. But others clearly had some disturbing ideas about little people — and somehow believed that a man of average height couldn’t genuinely love Amy. Fortunately, those people were way, way off. These days, when fans bother Amy about her romance, it takes a very different tone. Namely, fans want to see her get hitched to Chris and they want to know when he’s going to pop the question. Amy has suggested that she is open to getting married, but doesn’t want to rush into it. She takes marriage very seriously and wants to get married for life — when the time is right. Joy-Anna Duggar is putting on a brave face these days. And, at times, she’s also stuffing this face with ice cream. The 21-year revealed about a month ago that she had suffered a miscarriage after five months of pregnancy, teaming with husband Austin Forsyth to break this tragic news to their fans and supporters. Wrote the couple on Instagram at the time: “Today marks one week since we heard these words… “So this is your baby’s heart (pointing to the ultrasound screen). I don’t hear a heartbeat or see any movement.” Duggar and Forsyth had announced they were expecting their second child back on May 1, joining a very long line of loved ones who were pregnant and looking forward to welcoming a baby later this year. And then their dreams came crashing down this summer. Because Joy-Anna was so far along, she even had to give birth to her late child . Just truly heart-breaking all around. Now, several weeks after she made this terrible announcement, Joy-Anna is slowly but surely returning to the spotlight. She wants everyone to know that she’s struggling, as any woman would be, but that she’s also doing okay. On August 7, for example, Duggar posted the following photo on her Instagram page and included as a message: “Being real y’all. It’s been one of those days … lots of crying, praying, and a little ice cream.” As you can see above, the caption was laid over a photo of the Duggar daughter holding an ice cream cone.. Joy-Anna then shared a psalm on her Story as well: “Evening, morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.” Just a few days earlier, Duggar had posted another psalm on her official social media page, including with it an update on just how she and Austin and dealing with their recent tragedy. “Our hearts are healing,” she wrote alongside the image above, adding: “Yes, those days come that I miss my little girl so much. Wishing I could have met her, seen Austin love on her and Gideon play with her.” Duggar had previously told followers she and her husband named their little girl Annabell Elise — Annabell meaning “God has favored me” and Elise meaning “God satisfies.” In this caption from July 26, she continued: Yet, God has given us so much comfort. People say that I am strong, but I am not. It is Jesus’ strength that has carried me through. He’s given me a peace that passes all understanding and he has given me His JOY. From there, Duggar quoted a pair of psalms: He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. (Psalms 147:3) The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. It’s been over 18 months since Charlie Sheen got sober and left his hard-partying lifestyle behind him. Unfortunately, the process of getting clean hasn’t been as easy for one of the actor’s most troubled exes. Brooke Mueller’s substance abuse issues have been well-documented in the past and it seems the mother of Sheen’s twin boys has once again hit rock bottom. According to a report published today by Page Six , Mueller has checked into a “trauma center” following a drug-fueled meltdown that unfolded in shocking fashion on social media. The decision to seek help comes on the heels of two troubling accounts of Mueller’s recent drug use. Sources claim that the 41-year-old showed up to a Rite Aid in Southampton, New York, in mid-July with “several suitcases filled with drugs.” She was later kicked out of the Hamptons home she shared with another resident. Mueller then embarked on a drug run to Queens in the company of an unidentified male. “Now we are almost at Queens. Actually, what we want is, if it’s possible, cocaine and meth, crystal and coke, and if it’s even possible, it has to be the tar, black tar,” she said in an audio clip obtained by Page Six. “But that’s not for me. … I just go on and off. Everyone does. Almost everyone. There’s the few that stay sober, but not at my level.” Mueller denied ever using black tar heroin when reached for comment. Also this week, Page Six published footage which they claim shows Mueller purchasing crystal meth from a van. A police report from the day of the incident alleges that Mueller left her 9-year-old son unattended in a hotel room in order to buy drugs. “Wingate [hotel] front desk advising a very intoxicated female just left for the casino and left her child alone in the room,” an officer said at the time. The news of Mueller’s relapse comes less than two years after a source close to the former Extra host told Us Weekly that Brooke was clean and sober and had left Hollywood behind for good. “They are all doing well. All signs indicate that Brooke has escaped Hollywood,” said the insider, noting that Mueller had relocated to Utah. “Brooke has gotten her life in order and is finally the mother she always wanted to be.” We wish Brooke all the best in her continued recovery. With all of Teen Mom Twitter wondering whether or not Amber Portwood will go to prison for her recent alleged assault, fellow Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry came out on Thursday and dropped her very own bombshell: There’s a chance she ends up serving time behind bars in the near future! A slim chance, that is. But a chance nonetheless. For what possible reason? For taking her three sons on a trip to Hawaii in early July! Confused? We’ll let Lowry explain, courtesy of Thursday’s edition of her Coffee Convos podcast with Lindsie Chrisley. On this installment of their popular quasi talk show, Kailyn and Lindsie delved into the custody arrangement that Kailyn has with ex Jo Rivera in regard to their son, Isaac. (Kailyn is also the mother to a five-year son named Lincoln, who she shares with Javi Marroquin; and a two-year old son named Lux, who she had with Chris Lopez, but whom she has full custody of.) “We have to write a 30 days notice for vacation. First come, first serve,” explained Lowry of what is in writing between her and Rivera, adding by way of further detail: “So if I put in my 30 days notice before he does or anyone, it’s mine.” Okay, fair enough. We follow. Under a shared custody agreement, it makes sense that Kailyn and Jo would need to give the other a heads-up whenever they wanted to take young Isaac away to someplace such as Hawaii for an extended period of time. So what happened with this most recent vacation? “Originally I was going to go to Hawaii July 5th to 20th, which is two weeks,” Kailyn continued. “I realized that first week of July was my week [with the kids], and Leah [Messer] was [also] going [to Hawaii] on the 1st. “So obviously [I] wanted to go and be with [her family] the first week…It was my week anyway, I changed the dates after I submitted my 30 days notice.” Lowry and Messer also took a vacation together in May, sharing photos of themselves on the trip and even sparking rumors online of a romance between the female reality stars . That isn’t the point right now, though, of course. The point here is that Lowry didn’t abide by her custody agreement with Rivera. This is an agreement signed by both parties and it is one that was, of course, legally binding. As a result, there’s a scenario at work here in which Jo could press charges against his ex. “It’s not that big of a deal,” Lowry said on her podcast, acknowledging she was aware of this possibility when she whisked Issac away to be with his half-brothers in Hawaii and adding she has no regrets: “I made this decision [with] full awareness that I could potentially go to jail for 24 hours — and I think it’s worth it.” When Lindsie questioned Kailyn about the potential outcome, the Teen Mom star didn’t seem too concerned… despite what Rivera said upon learning Kailyn was breaking the rules and taking all three kids on this trip. “Jo said he he could see me in court,” Lowry noted. While we wait to see what happens between the former lovers, Kailyn left podcast listeners and fans with a rather mysterious and intriguing nugget. She said on air that “there [are] two incidences that I could file on contempt on [Jo] and I haven’t.” Sounds like a threat, doesn’t it? We wonder just what Lowry is referring to with this quote. Earlier this summer, we reported on a truly nightmarish ordeal. Gina Kirschenheiter’s ex allegedly threatened to murder her after attacking her in her home. Now, that same ex-husband is accusing her in court of being “vindictive” and hyping up tensions for Real Housewives drama. In June, The Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter endured a harrowing alleged attack. She says that her ex-husband, Matt, broke into her home late at night and attacked her in her living room. In addition to repeatedly striking and shoving her, she says that he repeatedly threatened her life. At one point, Gina ran outside to get help from a neighbor, but accuses Matt of having dragged her back to the house. Police arrived and arrested Matt, and now the exes are facing off in court over visitation of their young children. RadarOnline reports that, in a July 30 declaration made over a month after the alleged attack, Matt is trying to smear Gina in court documents. “Petitioner has historically been extremely vindictive,” Matt claims of his ex-wife. “And,” he accuses. “Has used the children when she becomes angry or wants to control me.” “Petitioner has been acting erratically and in a way that I believe is unfortunately more based on a ‘storyline’ for her reality television show,” Matt says. “And,” he writes. “Not rooted in the best interest of our children.” Just as Gina is trying to revoka Matt’s visitation in the aftermath of the June incident, he says that she has wanted to do so before. “She caused total chaos,” Matt recalls. “As we did not know if she was coming to pick up the children or not.” He writes: “Petitioner texted my sister ‘Visitation will be revoked. He needs to get himself in order. He’s sick. Not broke.” “Petitioner demanding that my visitation with our children by ‘revoked’ simply because she was going to be required to pay her own car payment,” Matt adds. He continues: “is consistent with her historical vindictive mature and using the children as ‘leverage.'” Matt also levels an accusation that Gina has issued threats of her own. According to his declaration, Gina once “threatened” his mother in a text message. Gina is said to have texted “You’ll see what happens next!” alongside a photo of a firework going off. “I am convinced that Petitioner is using any excuse she can to separate the children from me,” Matt writes. “As she knows that is my Achilles Heel.” He also complains that he was “forced to resign” from his job after his arrest in June, though it’s not clear how that’s supposed to be Gina’s fault. Exes claiming that the other is stirring up drama for reality TV reasons isn’t new. It’s as old as reality TV itself. But it only makes sense that Bravo’s cameras would cover the aftermath of Gina’s DUI arrest in February. It doesn’t sound like Gina and Matt are going to agree on anything, let alone decisions about their young children, in the near future. Jenelle Evans has a lot of time on her hands these days. When Evans was fired from Teen Mom 2 , she had plenty to keep her busy, what with the ugly battle to regain custody of her children, and all. These days, however, Jenelle has regained custody of her kids (much to the chagrin of many who followed her case closely). So now she has three little ones at home (Barbara Evans still has custody of Jenelle’s eldest son.), and her cushy six-figure gig with MTV is a thing of the past. Given those circumstances, we guess it’s no surprise that Jenelle has been spending much of her ample free time posting sponsored content about her former castmates. And to the surprise of absolutely no one, her most hated rivals remain her favorite targets for salacious and potentially damaging gossip. For weeks, there have been rumors of an affair between Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer . These rumors are largely Jenelle’s doing. The unemployed mom seems to delight in insinuating that her former co-stars are more than friends. The rumors seem to be based on nothing more than the fact that the Kailyn and Leah enjoy taking vacations together . These trips are usually family affairs, with both Kail and Leah taking their kids along for the ride. But that hasn’t stopped Jenelle from repeatedly implying that Lowry and Messer’s most recent relationships failed because they were cheating on their exes with one another. Jenelle is paid for the sponsored content that she posts, but she seems to take pleasure in posting clickbait articles about her co-stars’ failed relationships and past infidelities. Whether or not these infidelities actually occurred is immaterial: On Thursday the above image appeared in Evans’ Instagram stories. Clearly, it depicts Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer, even though the article she linked to has nothing to do with either party. Instead, the piece purports to focus on Mackenzie McKee’s Teen Mom OG debut and the storyline in which she suspects her husband of cheating. But like just about everything Jenelle posts, it features multiple shady, unsubstantiated claims about Kail and Leah. Specifically, it references a trip the friends took to Costa Rica while Messer was still dating Jason Jordan. “So what if we’re dating?” Kail jokingly captioned one of the pics — and apparently, that was proof enough for both Jenelle and the author of the piece. The article fixates so wholly on Kail and Leah that it takes a full 10 paragraphs to get to the topic of Mackenzie and her Teen Mom OG drama. After all of the pointless mom-shaming that Catelynn Lowell has endured, it’s great to see something positive. And it doesn’t get more positive than the unspeakably adorable photo of Vaeda that Catelynn shared. Brace yourselves: this little cutie is too precious for words. Take a look: Catelynn Lowell is a proud mom and she’s more than happy to share a glimpse at her youngest daughter. Taking to Instagram, Catelynn uploaded a snap of 5-month-old Vaeda seated in her little chair. “This little munchkin just ate her breakfast,” Catelynn captioned the photo. “And,” she remarked. “Sissy is STILL sleeping.” Take a look at how mind-shatteringly adorable baby Vaeda is. Look at that expresion! There’s a point in each baby’s life where they cross that special personality milestone. You start to see a glint of thought and personal identity in their eyes. You see the intelligence there. Vaeda is clearly in that zone and she’s just too adorable for words. Of course, she’s not the only adorable little girl in that household. Nova may have been sound asleep when Vaeda had her breakfast, but that didn’t mean that she slept the day away. Soon, she came downstairs, with messy hair and a bright pink nightgown. Catelynn took it upon herself to offer fans and followers an update. “Sissy finally just woke up,” Catelynn captioned this photo, followed by a red heart emoji. “Gosh our girls are beautiful,” she added, tagging Tyler Baltierra. She’s absolutely correct, there, and Tyler commented with a series of emojis to show that he was in 100% agreement. Catelynn and Tyler are much more certain of their love and their relationship these days. Last year, they were feeling much less certain about things. Tyler moved out temporarily as part of a trial separation. Unsure about their future, Catelynn considered not having Vaeda so as to not bring her into an already broken home. Fortunately, she and Tyler have worked through so many issues that once seemed impossible to resolve. Catelynn and Tyler have another child in addition to Nova and Vaeda: Carly. But they are her birth parents. They made a difficult but courageous choice to put her up for adoption when they were 17. Catelynn recently opened up about how difficult it can be to be “birth parents,” especially when it comes to your other children. “That’s another hard part of being birth parents… explaining to ur children why we can’t be with the other child on birthdays etc.” Catelynn remarked. “But,” she noted. “As our kids get older the more they will understand and the more we can explain.” Honestly? Despite their troubles as individuals and as a couple, Catelynn and Tyler seem like one of the most solid couples in the franchise. After all, they’ve been together since they were really just kids themselves. They’re also devoted parents who, these days, work on addressing their own issues instead of just letting mental health problems fester. A lot of Teen Mom kids would benefit from having parents like these two. Especially if it meant that they could be as cute as little Vaeda.
