Unfortunately, da Silva wasn’t the Master Of Disguise and the police asked “Shorty” to remove everything. According to the Rio Times, Tuesday Clauvino da Silva was transferred to maximum security. “Three days after his failed escape, da Silva, a senior member of Comando Vermelho (Red Command), one of Brazil’s main crime groups, was found dead in his cell in a maximum-security prison. Officials said he appeared to have hanged himself with a bedsheet. Yesterday (August 7) in Brooklyn, the South Korean tech giant led by its CEO DJ Koh unpacked the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. Galaxy Note 10 vs. Galaxy Note 10 Plus Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz The first thing you will notice about the new Note 10 and Note 10 Plus is how beautiful of a device it is and of course, the size of it. Coming in 6.3 inches is the Galaxy Note 10, while the luxurious Note 10 Plus is a 6.8-inch marvel. In hand, I was impressed at how light both devices were despite the plus version being slightly heavier. They didn’t feel ridiculous while I played around with the phones for a bit. Like the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus both variations of the Note 10 Dynamic AMOLED With HDR10+ certification and Dynamic Tone Mapping giving users a complete edge to edge experience with no distractions. Improving on the S10 design where they placed the hole-punched front-facing camera on the right of the screen, it is now a single camera located in the middle of the Note 10’s screen. Samsung claims it made the decisions to part with it to free up space phone for more battery capacity. So you will be forced to either go wireless or use the USB-C headphones that come with the phone. You can also use a dongle adaptor, Samsung does not supply you with one sadly. While on the subject of the battery, the Note 10 packs a 3,5000 mAh versus the Note 10 Plus 4,300 mAh. Both models do feature wireless charging, and 30-minute quick charging using a 45-watt wired charger that Samsung boasts will last the entire day. The button configuration on the phone has also changed. The Bixby button has been removed. It is now replaced with the power/lock button on the left side of the phone directly underneath the volume controls. If you want to trigger Bixby, just press and hold down the button, to open the camera, press the button twice. As far as storage, the Note 10 comes with 256GB while the Note 10 Plus comes with either 256 or 512GB. The MicroSD card slot is not on the Note 10 but is present on the Note 10 Plus. The lite version of the Note 10 packs 8GB of RAM versus 12GB for the Plus. The phones come in an array of different colors which Samsung labels with “Aura” due to the fantastic shine each color gives off. The one model that caught everyone one’s eye, including mine, was the “Aura Glow” finish, which was absolutely stunning in person. While there are a good number of differences, both models are still relatively the same with a slight edge going to the Note 10 Plus understandably. Pro-Grade Camera System Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz The Pro-Grade camera system introduced with Galax S10 and S10 Plus gets a boost. Users will still be able to seamlessly switch among the different lens located on the rear. Instead of them being positioned horizontally like on the Galaxy S10, the cameras are now vertical. As mentioned about there is only one front-facing camera now. Samsung notes that better software for taking portrait selfies and now “Night Mode” allowed for the removal of the second camera. 12-megapixel dual-aperture lens 16-megapixel wide-angle lens 12-megapixel telephoto lens 10-megapixel front-facing camera Where the two models differ is the Note 10 Plus’ inclusion of a fourth 3D depth-sensing camera on the back. It will allow users to take portrait video (Live Focus Video), allowing blur effects, so the subject is the main focus. Note 10 Plus owners will also be able to draw on top of their photos and videos using the S Pen now with a new feature called AR Doodle. It was a hit among everyone at the event. If you shoot a video of someone while using AR Doodle, the camera will track their movements so everything you drew on them will follow them. Another cool feature AR Doodle will allow is the ability to save the file you created as either a JPEG or movie file. Once saved, you will be able to share it on any platform and not with just Note 10 users, unlike Apple’s Live Photo feature. Samsung also showed off the 3D depth-sensing camera’s ability to scan objects and turn them into a moveable 3D render. While filming, users will be able to push background noise aside to focus on the sounds they want. Plus a new and improved version of “Super Steady” helps to film action sequences while removing bumps and shakes. The S Pen Gets Upgraded Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz There is still a country for people who love to work with stylists. Samsung has brought back the S-Pen with some upgrades. Last year’s version of the peripheral introduced Bluetooth capability allowing Note 9 owners to do things like snap a picture by just using the S Pen remotely. The Note 10’s S Pen gets an upgrade. You will now be able to operate the phone and certain features using gestures or as Samsung describes it Air actions. By holding down the button and flicking your hand left, right, up and, down, you will be able to switch cameras, change songs on Spotify or even sitch slides during a PowerPoint presentation. There are more advanced gestures, for example, if you make a circular motion, you can zoom in or out while using the camera. While trying it out, it didn’t work perfectly, but after a few tries, I was able to get some of the gestures to work. Nothing some practice won’t fix, but I don’t think its something most Note users will be using all of the time. Gaming Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz While I am not the biggest fan of mobile gaming, I left the Barclay’s Arena very impressed with the Note 10’s ability to run big games. I got to try out the forthcoming Call of Duty mobile game which Samsung is partnering with. I was absolutely blown away with how great the game looked on the phone and how smoothly it ran. The controls were easy to figure it out, but if you’re not a fan of using the on-screen configuration, you can connect and controller using Bluetooth. The product expert on hand also explained that the game will automatically match you with other players using controllers. So you won’t have an advantage over others who instead use the on-screen controls. If you’re worried about your Note 10 or Note 10 Plus getting hot while the game is running there is a solution for that. Thanks to the”world’s slimmest” vapor chamber cooling system which will help deliver optimal performance during gameplay while keeping the phone cool. Depending on what game you are playing, the AI-based Game Booster will optimize the performance and power consumption of the Note 10 without sacrificing performance quality. Gamers will also be able to screen record as well, so Samsung definitely had Twitcher and Mixers in mind. With Link to Windows (yes some people still use it) you will be able to sync your Note 10 straight to your Windows 10 desktop. Once connected via the cable that comes with the phone, you will be able to view your messages, notifications, photos, and even mirror your screen. Because Andrew Glennon has filed for full custody of the infant after accusing Amber of throwing a shoe at time, threatening suicide and even using a machete to try and break down a door behind which he was hiding with the little boy. 3. When Did She Last See James? On July 18, we believe. But Amber didn’t do so alone. She must be accompanied by a court-approved supervisor when in the presence of her son these days. 4. It Hasn’t Been Easy for Portwood “Just missing one beautiful little man,” she wrote as part of a caption to this recent montage, which she shared online after seeing her daughter, Leah. 5. But She Just Received Some Good News at Least On August 7, a judge awarded Amber with additional time with James. Three years after their rivalry kicked off, Swift spoke to Vogue magazine and once again rehashed what happened and how it made her feel, trying to once again come out on top of Kim as though she were Ray J or something. Yes: Way back in July of 2016, Kardashian posted Snapchat videos of Swift talking with Kanye West about his song “Famous,” which featured the lyrics: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.” 2. So What? Well, Swift had previously slammed Kanye for this song, making it sound as if she had no idea she would be referenced in such a negative manner. 3. She Was Therefore Exposed? Yes, exactly. The conversation between Kanye and Swift that Kim made public featured Taylor being told about West’s lyrics and giving her approval. 4. Take THIS! Swift fired back at Kimye on Instagram three years back, saying memorably on her page: “I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2009.” (That’s a reference to when Kanye interruped her speech at the MTV VMAs.) 5. She’s a Cold-Hearted Snake Kim proceeded to trash Swift as a snake on multiple occasions. 6. Did This Have an Effect on Swift’s Career? We’re pretty sure it did. We probably don’t need to tell you that Scientology is bizarrely popular in Hollywood — or that it doesn’t have the greatest reputation in the rest of the world. The reasons for this are as plentiful and insane as the Church’s millions of followers: We suppose it’s not surprising that a religion cooked up by a sci-fi writer and centered around space aliens and extreme narcissism would sell like hotcakes in Tinsel Town but wouldn’t necessarily play in Peoria. Still, as much as a cult that encourages its members to achieve success by battling the Martians in their soul seems tailor-made for actors and other film industry insiders, we’re always amazed by just how many celebs have fallen victim to Scientology’s bonkers claims. Take Brad Pitt, for example. These days, despite some rough patches in his personal life , Pitt remains so inarguably the epitome of cool that his dialogue in the Once Upon a Time In … Hollywood script probably consisted of nothing but the words “Brad says some cool Brad Pitt stuff.” But that wasn’t always the case. There was a time when Brad was just a young Missouran trying to make it in Hollywood and running into the same stumbling blocks as any young thespian. And it was during those early days of failed auditions and thwarted ambitions that the opportunistic bottomfeeders who operate the CoS almost got their hooks in young Mr. Pitt. Former Scientologist Sam Domingo — who was once daughter-in-law to famed opera singer Placido Domingo — recently spoke with Radar Online for a series of interviews in which she shares her most shocking memories from her 22 years as a member of the CoS. Domingo claims that in the early ’90s, Pitt and then-girlfriend Juliette Lewis were recruited for by the Church, but had the good sense to flee in the midst of a grueling “detoxification” program. “Brad was recruited in the 1990s during the time he and Juliette Lewis did a movie together,” Domingo says. “That’s when he was put on the purification rundown.” She described the “rundown” as “a program where they basically load you up with vitamins and you sit in the sauna and sweat for five hours a day.” “At least four kids have died on these programs,” Domingo claims. “Brad was doing the same one. He was in the sweat box.” But unlike Tom Cruise, who remains 100 percent in bed with these loonies , Brad apparently knows a fishy scene when he sees one. “He left! They weren’t able to keep Brad,” Domingo says. If it’s not one thing, it’s another. Troubled eldest son Matt Brown just reconciled his way back onto Alaskan Bush People , but now another family conflict could rock their world. Bam Bam has had it up to here with how his family treats his girlfriend. At this point, there’s only one thing keeping him around. … RadarOnline reports that 34-year-old Bam Bam Brown is “completely fed up” with his family’s weird double standards. Specifically, his girlfriend Allison Kagan seems to get nothing but the cold shoulder from his parents, and he’s had enough. Recent happy relationship news from his brothers has made it impossible for him to ignore how much his parents like everyone else’s girlfriends. “They do not show Bam’s woman Allison the same level of respect,” the insider explains. “And it really just sets him off,” the source explains. What else would it be? “They both know what they are doing,” the source points out. “Because they are smart people.” “They are getting paid handsomely,” the insider notes. “And they know how to run the show like a machine,” the source observes. “Because they understand both sides of it.” If any Alaskan Bush People fans are hoping that Bam Bam and Allison will settle down on the 435-acre property Billy bought, think again. They’re there for the cash from the show, and Bam Bam doesn’t want to expose Allie to rudeness unless they’re being paid for their trouble. For now, sure, they’ll play ball when the show is filming. “But,” cautions the insider, “once the program is done, which will happen eventually, they are out of there.” Sad to think of Alaskan Bush People coming to an end, but even the best shows eventually run their course. Honestly, this sounds like a smart, sensible move on Bam Bam’s part. Alaskan Bush People has made his family into millionaires. Bam Bam absolutely deserves a piece of the action — because fans and viewers want to see him, too. While it won’t be easy if Allison continues to get snubbed, being able to swallow your pride for a while is worth it for a hefty paycheck. In June the world was introduced to 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days couple Rebecca and Zied in TLC’s teaser trailer. The pair raised eyebrows for a handful of reasons, one of which is that Rebecca was already married to someone else. Now the series has finally premiered, and while we’ve got a way to go before we learn Rebecca’s fate, we’re here to tell you at least one of her relationships is officially over. When Zied — and 90 Day fans — met Rebecca, she was sitting on a pretty big secret. Not only had Rebecca been married three times, she was still married to her third husband. “I want the engagement, I want the wedding, I want our life to start,” Rebecca said in the premier. “But,” she said, “I just have left a lot of things out about my past.” “I’m keeping a secret from Zied,” the 47-year-old admitted, referring of course to her marital status. “I have no idea what Zied is going to do when he finds out,” Rebecca worried during her confessional. “He could absolutely end this relationship,” she reasoned. But as we reported, and as Rebecca goes on to explain, the whole situation isn’t quite as shady as it seems. In truth, Rebecca was only married in the legal sense. Not that that’s a small detail — the legal recognition is arguably the whole point of getting married, especially on 90 Day Fiance . But Rebecca was never two-timing Zied; she was separated from her husband, but hadn’t finalized her divorce. “As of right now, I’m not technically divorced from my ex,” said Rebecca in the confessional. She went on to explain that she “just kept putting it off” emotionally, because the relationship ended so badly. Sometimes, relationships end so badly that you can’t bare to face your ex under any circumstances. We could understand how that would interfere with the divorce process, which often requires more painful face time with an ex. Unfortunately it’s something that needs to be dealt with before working up to a new marriage. Now, it looks like Rebecca has finally cleared away the old baggage and paved the way for new suitors like Zied. According to court documents recently obtained by In Touch , Rebecca’s divorce was finalized on July 9. Like Zied, Rebecca’s ex-husband was from overseas. Rebecca and her Moroccan ex originally married in 2013, but were separated in January of 2018. It would be over a year before she actually filed for divorce in May of 2019, well after meeting Zied. But hey, better late than never, right? All things considered, the turn-around on that divorce was pretty quick, once Rebecca actually filed for it. Sometimes these things get messy, and drag on for months to years in court. The first episode shows Rebecca beginning the process, heading to court to file the paperwork. But since the divorce wasn’t finalized until last month, it likely won’t be covered on this season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days . It’s a shame we won’t get to see if the divorce saves Rebecca and Zied’s relationship on screen any time soon. But judging from the comments made by her (alleged) son on reddit in June, Rebecca and Zied survived the ordeal and still love each other very much. So, we can’t say for sure if Rebecca is single, but at least we all know she’s not married. We’d like to congratulate Rebecca on her un-nuptuals, and wish her the best of luck with her new beau. From the moment that Amber Portwood was arrested for domestic assault , fans assumed that a vicious custody between the Teen Mom OG star and her ex-boyfriend Andrew Glennon would soon follow. But even with Amber’s history of erratic behavior, we don’t think anyone thought the situation would get quite this ugly. Glennon has been keeping his distance from Portwood, and he currently has custody of the former couple’s 1-year-old son, James . Now, he’s being accused of tormenting Amber by flaunting his relationship with James on social media. “Andrew seems more concerned with public perception than getting back together with Amber,” a source close to the situation tells Us Weekly . The insider says the weeks since Amber’s arrest have cemented the fact that there’s no hope of reconciliation for Amber and Andrew. “He’s done nothing to indicate he wants to be back with her, and she’s done nothing to indicate she wants to get back together with him,” the insider says. “They’re as good as done and haven’t spoken since the court ordered them not to.” The source says Andrew’s Facebook posts have infuriated Amber, as have the comments from Glennon supporters deriding Portwood as an unfit mother. But Andrew accuses Amber of conducting her own misinformation campaign. And he says his social media updates serve no purpose other than “to let everyone we love know that James and I are OK.” “She is in total control of the future of this relationship, but if she wants to pass the buck to someone else, ignore her downfalls and not do what is right, that’s on her,” Glennon tells Us Weekly . “Amber needs help and the sooner she acknowledges that, the healthier and happier she will be.” As for the accusations that he’s going out of his way to torment Amber or that he used her for fame, Andrew says nothing could be further from the truth. “There can’t be any better indication of me wanting a family than me taking care of our beautiful son and keeping him safe,” he says. “He sees photos of her every day, smells her smells and plays with toys they loved to play with.” Something tells us Andrew’s efforts to appease Amber will fall on deaf ears.
