In the year or so since Paris Jackson began dating Gabriel Glenn , the 21-year-old model has experienced more ups and downs than some folks see in a lifetime. On social media, Paris defended her father and dismissed the charges against him in a fashion that many found callous or inappropriate. Insiders worried that Paris was headed for an overdose, a meltdown, or some other personal tragedy. Things seem to have stabilized for Jackson these days, and Glenn — who stood by her side throughout — seems to have had a stabilizing influence. Often, tough times test our bonds and bring us closer to those we love. Which might be part of the reason so many are convinced that Paris and Glenn secretly got married sometime in the past few weeks. Another good reason, of course, is the fact the pair appeared to be sporting matching wedding rings at a recent red carpet event. Nina Dobrev shocked Vampire Diaries fans in June when she revealed that she totally hated costar Paul Wesley , despite their on-screen chemistry. The two are close friends now, but it’s kind of amazing how well Nina faked it for those early seasons. Now Paul Wesley has come forward to confirm Nina’s story, and he confesses he didn’t like her much either! Paul addressed the couple’s mutual disdain while speaking with reporters at the Television Critics Association summer press tour on Thursday. “I think the point that Nina was making, and I’ll totally back her up on this, is that we totally clashed [the] first couple years,” Paul said. He didn’t mention any specific confrontations, but admitted he and she had the tendacy of “just getting on each other’s nerves.” But Paul, now 37, wants us to know that that’s in the past, and that he and Nina later “developed this wonderful friendship.” “So it’s like this nice, happy ending,” Paul told reporters. For Paul, part of the problem with Nina was overexposure. The two went from being total strangers to seeing way, way too much of each other. Both of the stars were also constantly exhausted from the rigorous filming and promotional schedule. “When people work together nonstop, do press nonstop for years and years on end,” Paul reasoned. “You don’t appreciate the person that’s in front of you.” “You’re like, ‘Oh, you know, I’m exhausted and tired,'” he added. Paul continued, “And I think now, it’s such a nice story because we’re such good friends.” It can be so stressful when you can’t find any time off from a busy work schedule, and only see the same few coworkers all day. In that pressure cooker scenario, you can start to resent even the tiniest flaws of those around you. We can forgive these two for rubbing each other the wrong way back in the day, and we love that they’re so tight now. “I think it was a cool lesson to learn,” Paul recalled on Thursday. He went on to explain, “It’s like the poeple that … maybe you don’t get along with in the beginning later surprise you.” “I think a lot of my friendships are like that,” Paul concluded. Well, we hope most of his friendships didn’t start out with mutual hatred. But there’s a lot to be said for being patient with those we don’t immediately like, and giving friendship a chance to grow. For Paul, learning this was just part of growing up. Afterall, he and Nina were much younger when The Vampire Diaries first aired on The CW. “We were both kids,” Paul remembered about their first years together. “She was, you know, couldn’t even legally drink. I was like, 24 or 25,” he said. It sounds like Nina and Paul struggled to adapt to becoming so successful so suddenly, and at such a young age. “We were both on this big show,” Paul recalled, “It’s like high school. It’s kind of like being at summer camp.” These two stars clearly had a pretty rocky start with each other. But both have gone on to say they now keep in touch regularly and hang out “all the time.” We’re glad Paul and Nina got their real-life happy ending, for now at least. We can practically guarantee this will never be the case ever again, but in this one instance … we couldn’t have said it better than Donald Trump. “A$AP Rocky released from prison and on his way home to the United States from Sweden,” the president tweeted moments ago. “It was a Rocky Week, get home ASAP A$AP!” Yes, the celebratory puns are flowing like Trump Vineyards Champagne today, as fans all over the world celebrate the release of rapper A$AP Rocky from a Swedish prison. As you’ve likely heard by now, A$AP was arrested on assault charges , and he’s spent the past month in jail awaiting trial. According to TMZ, Rocky appeared in court today and was set free following testimony from two witnesses who say he did not strike the alleged victim with a champagne bottle, as the plaintiff had claimed. Today’s court date was only a preliminary hearing, and Rocky is still scheduled to stand trial on August 14. But considering he was released from jail and granted permission to leave the country, it’s been widely assumed that he’ll be found not guilty in absentia. After all, extraditing him would be a nightmare, given the fact that Rocky has the full support of President Trump. Trump took up A$AP’s cause last month and he has repeatedly called for his release in recent weeks. “Give A$AP Rocky his FREEDOM,” Trump tweeted on July 25. “We do so much for Sweden but it doesn’t seem to work the other way around. For baffling reasons, Mario Lopez thinks that it’s “dangerous” to support trans kids . What’s more, he decided to voice that awful opinion. The backlash was loud and well-deserved. Now, sources say that Mario could lose his job Mario sat down with infamous conservative pundic Candace Owens and suggested that two things were dangerous. One, believing women who come forward after being assaulted. Two, emotionally supporting transgender children. Now, RadarOnline reports that Mario’s entire career may be in jeopardy. “The execs at NBC held an emergency meeting yesterday to discuss Mario’s future with the show,” an insider reveals. The source explains that they held this meeting “because they do not see how they can just let this fly” “Mario’s comments are not an accurate representation of what the network stands for at all,” the insider points out. “The network prides itself on equality,” the source adds. “And,” the insider expresses. “Do not accept anti LGBTQ hate speech at all.” Sometimes, people think of transphobic statements as merely a character flaw, like having a bad opinion. But statements of bigotry — celebrities calling supporting trans kids “dangerous” — can get trans children killed. It’s more than “just words.” “If you come from a place of love, you know, you really can’t go wrong,” Mario said during the ill-advised, ill-fated interview. “But at the same time,” he continued. “My God.” “if you’re 3 years old, and you’re saying you’re feeling a certain way or you think you’re a boy or girl whatever the case may be,” Mario said for some reason. He continued: “I just think it’s dangerous as a parent to make this determination then.” Mario did not explain how accepting your child for who they are might be “dangerous.” Mario did, at least, apologize after his name trended in the worst way for hours. “The comments I made were ignorant and insensitive, and I now have a deeper understanding of how hurtful they were,” Mario said. “I have been and always will be an ardent supporter of the LGBTQ community,” he insisted. “And,” Mario added. “I am going to use this opportunity to better educate myself.” “Moving forward,” he vowed. “I will be more informed and thoughtful.” Mario apologizing is a good first step … but not everyone is convinced that it’s anything more than an effort to save his career. “His apology really meant nothing at all,” the insider says dismissively. “All it does is solidify that he was aware that his comments were transphobic and hurtful,” the source adds. Apparently, Mario’s PR team thinks that the network may “make an example out of him,” and the insider thinks that they’re “probably right.” “He lost a lot of fans from this,” the source points out. “And there is no way that he could ever really recover them back.” Mario has hosted Extra since 1994. The show was quick to release a statement: “While we have enjoyed a long relationship with Mario Lopez, who we know to be a caring person,” the statement began. Extra continued: “The opinions he expressed in this interview do not reflect those of Extra.” “We wholeheartedly embrace our friends from the LGBTQ community and believe they need support and love,” the statement eaffirmed. The statement concluded: “For more support on these issues you can go to GLAAD.org.” It is believed that Mario may keep his Access Hollywood gig, but public reactions could always change. Honestly? It’s a wonderful thing that society has reached a point where someone being transphobic is a scandal but being trans is not. That said, some suggest that if Mario is sincere about making this a learning opportunity, that can only be a good thing. Years ago, Katie Couric asked some very impertinent questions of some trans women and faced huge backlash over it. Since then, she learned from that and used her voice and profession to be an advocate for the trans community. It would be amazing to see Mario do the same. Source: Marvel Studios / Marvel Studios A few weeks ago at San Diego’s Comic Con Marvel revealed it’s movie slate for MCU’s phase 4 which included some highly anticipated projects including Blade starring Mahershala Ali as the vampire killing Daywalker and Thor 4, but noticeably absent was any mention of the sequel to everyone’s favorite Black superhero, Black Panther 2 . Though we know it’s definitely happening and director Ryan Coogler is penning the script, we haven’t gotten much else other than rumors about Killmonger possibly returning to Wakanda (Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige basically shot that rumor down recently). While official word on Black Panther 2 remains scarce, We Got This Covered is reporting that the villain for the highly anticipated sequel has been nailed down and it’s none other than the merman known as Namor. The Sub-Mariner will be T’Challa’s main antagonist when we all return to Wakanda for the next adventure. According to our sources – the same ones who told us that the real Mandarin will appear in Shang-Chi and Taskmaster will be the villain inBlack Widow, both of which were later confirmed by Marvel – the studio has chosen Namor to be the main antagonist of Black Panther 2. The specifics of his role are still a bit unclear, but like we said above, the sequel will see him trying to take control of Wakanda and become its ruler. As with any scoop of this kind, we imagine Marvel may deny it publicly as they so often do, but as we mentioned above, our sources are usually pretty reliable, so we feel fully confident in their intel. And while things can always change in the development process given how early on it still is, for now, it seems that Namor will finally be making his big screen debut in Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther 2 . This shouldn’t come as a surprise as rabbit-eared fans caught the easter egg in Avengers: Endgame when Okoye mentioned underwater earthquakes off the coast of Africa. Could it be the city of Atlantis readying to make its presence known to the world? We don’t know but fans were quick to point out the possibility and that Namor would soon be joining Marvel’s cinematic universe. Though Marvel hasn’t confirmed the news We Got This Covered is also reporting that they’re eyeing Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding to take on the role of the hotheaded anti-hero. No word yet on when Black Panther 2 will be making its way into theaters but rumors have it dropping November of 2021 or February 2022. Either way, we can’t wait.

This time around, she has become the first woman to take home a whopping seven medals at one single World Championships. According to SwimSwam.com , on July 26 in Tokyo, Manuel won four golds and three silvers throughout the week, including being the first American woman to win the 50 and 100 freestyle last Sunday. In addition, the 23-year-old Houston native was on the “winning mixed 4×100 medley relay, then took silver on the women’s 4×200 free relay and 4×100 free relay, and mixed 4×100 free relay.” Despite breaking records, a humble Simone wrote On Twitter: “By no means was this a perfect meet, but that’s okay. New video evidence has also been produced, which shows one of Rocky’s bodyguards brutally choke-slamming Jafari. The Blast reports : The Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet has a reporter, Adam Westin, inside the courtroom for the second day of the trial who has been providing minute-by-minute updates. According to Westin (and Google Translate), when A$AP took the stand, he explained that he and his friends just wanted to walk around Sweden, get some air, and check out the sites. He said things were going well and they even took electric scooters to help get around. He said people started to approach his security guard but A$AP didn’t pay much attention and the security guard asked them to leave. Next thing A$AP knows, the security guard grabs the alleged victim by the collar and moves him out of the way. A$AP said the situation was a little scary and he said he “assumed that these guys were under the influence of some kind of drug.” Reports have recently surfaced that the 19-year-old Jafari had a record of assault, theft, and drug possession. In his testimony, Jafari claims he encountered Rocky and his team outside a burger joint and asked them if they saw a friend of his. From there, a verbal altercation allegedly occurred which ended with Jafari catching blows from Rocky and his security team. — Photo: Getty

One day, the sad news will come and TLC will cancel Little People, Big World. But Amy Roloff can now take solace in the knowledge that another job on another network will likely be sitting there, waiting for her. Indeed, the reality star is apparently well-prepared to host a series on HGTV about property-flipping. We say this because Oregon property records reveal that Amy has officially sold a portion of her family’s farm to her ex-husband, Matt. She didn’t merely sell it, however. She raked in an ENORMOUS profit. The aforementioned documents, which were obtained this week by Radar Online, state that the mother of four sold this section of land for a whopping $667,000. To put this in perspective? In 1990, newlyweds Matt and Amy purchased the farm together for just $185,000. The debate over the future of this property and whether or not Amy was going to sell it to Matt was the main storyline on Little People, Big World this past season. It prompted a number of arguments between the exes, who split over three years ago yet who have continued to work together and live in close proximity to one another. At one point on the series this spring, Amy slammed Matt for bullying her about the farm. “I just want to make the best decision,” Amy told the camera at the time of why she was taken so long here to figure out next move, adding: “Moving out of a house that I never really thought I’d move out of years ago. … to think about that now is a little daunting. It is a little scary, it’s a little intimidating because I’ve never really been on my own before.” Here’s the confusing thing, however: Amy did NOT sell Matt the land on which her actual house sits. She sold Matt a segment of the land around where his actual house sits so that he can renovate it and work on however he sees fit. In early June, Matt shared a lengthy message on Instagram in order to explain just what was going on with this sale and the farm debate in general. “I have chosen to buy (and Amy has chosen to sell) me only one side of the farm,” he wrote, explaining that pumpkin season was very much a go and elaborating as follows: “For now she is only selling me her partial share of ownership in the side (DW) that I live on… “She will remain in her house (and on the farm) and 1/2 owner of our original farm until she decides to leave.” Amy has made it clear, though, that she has decided to leave. She is in the process right now of looking for a new home away from the farm. Someday, Matt told his followers, “we will jointly work to sell the side she lives on together. “This may happen in the future but it’s not happening yet! “The only change (for now) is that I will take title to the DW and can decide to remodel it to be more accessible with a lower kitchen or walk-in shower like my home in Arizona.” In conclusion, Matt — who recently made it clear he wants to move to Arizona full-time — wrote that little is changing about the business or the farm as fans know it. But down the line? “The future may be different …but Now is Now …and this is where we are at this moment in time…. Maybe one of the kids will eventually buy it?? Who knows?” Might this kid be Jeremy? The family’s oldest son has said he wants to maybe run a farm someday . For now, though, we can’t predict his future or the future of any Roloff, with the possible exception of Amy: She’s probably dining on champagne and lobster tonight! Way to make a killing, Ams!
