In a stunning twist that truly no one saw coming, 90 Day Fiance star Jay Smith was released from ICE custody this week. His bailout came as a major surprise for several reasons, but a lot of fans want to hear from him. How does Jay feel about his incarceration? What are his plans now? Will he just wait for deportation or is he going to fight for legal residency? Here is what Jay has to say in his first statement since his release: 1. Jay did not have a fun July He spent almost the entire month behind bars. Now, for the first time, he is breaking his silence. 2. Ashley took out a protection order On July 1, she obtained a Protection From Abuse order. Jay had allegedly broken into her home, and Ashley apparently had evidence of alleged abuse during their marriage (awful stuff). The goal of the PFA was to keep Jay away. 3. Jay promptly broke the rules As you can see in his fateful Instagram Story, Jay discussed the PFA … which he’s not allowed to do. This was a violation, and so the police contacted him and told him that he would be arrested. 4. Jay did the smart thing, here He voluntarily turned himself in to authorities, and even implied as much on Instagram — even if most followers didn’t yet know what was going on. 5. Jay followed through and was arrested Because he is not an American citizen (or even, it is believed, a legal resident), Jay was then placed in ICE custody. 6. Even Ashley was devastated This is not how she wanted this to end. Most tattoo artists will tell you that couples tattoos are a jinx. No one knows why, but it seems the universe simply can’t resist the allure of laughing at someone who gets permanently inked in honor of their significant other, only to watch the relationship crumble within a matter of months. To be clear, we do not think that’s what’s gonna happen to the Teen Mom franchise’s most stable couple. Still, Cole DeBoer’s tattoo commemorating his proposal to Chelsea Houska is a bit of a cringe. Cole shared his newest ink in an Instagram photo album on Thursday. “More additions from the master artist himself @robbie_portfolio51 the scene of me proposing to my beautiful wife @chelseahouska and one badass eagle!!!!” he captioned the pic. Now, before you race to the comments to flame us for doing the unthinkable and criticizing Cole, let us just say that the sentiment is beautiful, and the technical execution of the tattoo is very impressive. But relationship tatts are always questionable, and getting a scene from your life etched into your flesh in photo-realistic detail is a little creepy. Like, Cole now has a tattoo of himself on his arm. Again, we understand the motivation behind the tatt, but it just seems like the sort of thing that might not age terribly well. And we’re really, really hoping getting a tattoo of your proposal photo doesn’t become a trend. But hey we’re sure Chelsea appreciated it and eagles, as a species, are probably pretty happy with being depicted on Cole’s forearm. After all, this is the guy that recently saved Chelsea Houska’s life . And we don’t mean he swooped in and gave her new hope following her messy breakup from Adam Lind . We mean Chelsea was choking, and Cole swooped in and administered a life-saving Heimlich maneuver. Suddenly, your husband remembering to switch over the laundry like you asked doesn’t seem as heroic, does it, Karen?! Obviously, we ragged on Cole’s choices in skin art a bit today, but the guy really does seem like a decent and genuine partner to Chelsea and a truly devoted father. We’d say he’s the best baby daddy in the Teen Mom franchise, but that would be damning him with faint praise. Farrah Abraham doesn’t hesitate to go off on her “haters,” which is what she calls any and all of her critics. But when it comes to fighting a lawsuit, Farrah is much better at avoiding conflict. She’s being sued for six figures right now, but is so good at ghosting that she hasn’t even been served with papers. Back in February, Farrah Abraham was sued for $101,000 by her former landlord. See, Farrah allegedly failed to pay rent when two of her stores, Furnished by Farrah and Sophia Laurent Children’s Boutique, closed. (Why is it that every time that we write about Farrah’s business ventures, one store or another seems to be closed or closing?) The plaintiff has been trying to serve Farrah with papers in order to get the ball rolling on the lawsuit. There’s just one problem — Farrah has made herself impossible for process servers to find. Now, according to court documents obtained by RadarOnline , the Plaintiff is asking the court to give them another option. After about six months of failures, the judge is being asked if a family member of Farrah’s, such as her father, might be served in her stead. The Plaintiff has already tried to serve Farrah’s father, but he told the server that Farrah didn’t live there and to get off of his property. The process servers may need a lot of luck. In November of 2018, Farrah’s own attorney sued her for an unpaid bill of $2,577.50 — and she hasn’t been served for that suit yet, either. Together with Simon Saran, Farrah is being sued for $101,212.50. “At the end of September 2018, F&S ceased business operations and abandoned both Suite 300 and Suite 400,” court documents accuse. The court filing adds: “In addition, F&S failed to make the required monthly payments under the First Lease and Second Lease.” “On October 3, 2018,” the papers continue. “Plaintiff gave notice to F&S that if F&S failed to pay all outstanding amounts by October 10, 2018, F&S would be in default.” An attorney for Farrah says that the former Teen Mom OG star has “no intentions on making any further payments under either lease agreement.” “Despite written demand for payment, Defendants Abraham and Saran failed, refused and continue to refuse to pay Plaintiff,” court papers accuse. Plaintiff is still seeking “the amounts due and owing under the First Lease and the Second Lease.” “This failure to pay the amounts due and owing constitutes a material breach of the Guaranties,” the court papers read. “Plaintiff has attempted to serve Abraham multiple times via hand delivery at multiple locations,” court documents complain. Servers tried “(1) Abraham’s usual place of business, (2) Abraham’s usual place of abode, or (3) other addresses where Abraham could potentially be found.” However, the Plaintiff laments that Farrah is a “transient individual as evidenced by [her] Instagram account.” “For example, Plaintiff tried to serve Abraham when it saw she was in Austin at Terry Black’s BBQ,,” court papers read. The document continues: “But by the time the process server arrived, Abraham had left.” Indeed, Farrah travels all over the world. Even using Instagram to stalk her can only be so helpful. Just days ago, Farrah Abraham was cheering on Donald Trump , which she has been doing since 2016. It’s striking to think of just how much these two former reality stars have in common. From word salad to racism to a string of failed businesses, Farrah and Donald were clearly cut from the same terrible cloth. And this story is a reminder of yet another thing that the two have in common: not paying their debts and ducking efforts that people make to recoup their losses. Source: BRUNO SANTOS / Getty Most New Yorkers are familiar with the horror stories that revolve around the infamous Rikers Island jail complex and the corruption it entails, but at least it isn’t a Brazilian prison. CNN is reporting that a wild prison riot went down in Brazil’s Regional Recovery Center at 7am when a local gang “stormed” a wing in the facility and began a brouhaha that lasted several hours. After the smoke had cleared 57 people had been murdered and while the majority of them were believed to have been killed by asphyxiation, 16 of the victims were found decapitated. Ten of the 16 prisoners who were blamed for instigating the violence will be transferred to federal penitentiaries, state media reported, citing local authorities. More than 46 other prisoners will be moved to other prisons in Para. The incident is the latest outbreak of deadly violence in recent months to have taken place in Brazil’s often overcrowded and underfunded prison system. The local prison authorities said at the time the deaths were a result of violent clashes among rival factions within the same drug gang, known as the Family of the North. Julianne Hough poses naked in the latest issue of Women’s Health. And yet… somehow this isn’t the reason everyone is talking about this dancer’s cover story with that magazine today. How is that possible, you may be wondering, considering what Hough looks like? Easy: She tells the publication that, although she’s married to a man named Brooks Laich, she’s actually “not straight” and she once had a long talk with him about this fact. This is the sort of tidbit that overshadows even Julianne Hough’s nude body, you know? “I [told him], ‘You know I’m not straight, right?’ And he was like, ‘I’m sorry, what?’” the ex- Dancing With the Stars judge says in the September 2019 issue of Women’s Health, adding: “I was like, ‘I’m not. But I choose to be with you.’” The veteran television personality tied the knot with Laich in 2017 , following many years of being one of Hollywood’s best-known virgins. She famously dated Ryan Seacrest for a long time prior to getting with Laich. She explained to Women’s Health — for its annual “Naked Strength” edition — that her very personal “massive transformation” came four months after the couple’s wedding. “I think there’s a safety with my husband now that I’m unpacking all of this,” Hough continued. “And there’s no fear of voicing things that I’ve been afraid to admit or that I’ve had shame or guilt about because of what I’ve been told or how I was raised.” While Hough emphasized that her professional hockey player husband has been by her side this entire time, and that she’s happy she’s been so candid with him, she was still anxious to discuss parts of her journey with him. You can understand why, right? “I was connecting to the woman inside that doesn’t need anything, versus the little girl that looked to him to protect me,” she said, adding: “I was like, ‘Is he going to love this version of me?’ But the more I dropped into my most authentic self, the more attracted he was to me.” Props to Brooks Laich, huh? “Now we have a more intimate relationship,” Hough said of her marriage. Hough feels better than ever before about herself as well. “I’m going to shift for the rest of my life,” she told Women’s Health, concluding on this topic as follows: “I’m not like, ‘Oh, I got it.’ But I’m trusting myself now, and when I’m totally connected to me, I feel full. Get excited! The Season 10 premiere date for Alaskan Bush People is just days away! The looming premiere made this week a perfect time for Bear Brown to make a very exciting announcement. He has a gorgeous model girlfriend, and he’s excited to introduce her to the world. 31-year-old Bear Brown spoke to People about his girlfriend, Raiven Adams. “We met at my brother Noah’s wedding last year,” Bear reveals. Noah married his now wife, Rhain Alisha, in a small and beautiful ceremony last year. “Raiven was helping her mom, Kassy Michelle,” he shares. “Who was the photographer.” Bear continues: “Her mom has always had a passion for photography.” “And,” he adds. “Raiven helps her out with weddings and other photo shoots from time to time.” It sounds like, when the two of them met, sparks just flew. “We just agreed we both felt a connection,” Bear characterizes. That sounds wonderful! And then he starts getting into why he adores his girlfriend. He explains: “I would definitely say what I like most about Raiven would simply be Raiven herself,” “She is truly the full package,” Bear expresses. “She is like, beauty in every sense of the word,” Bear gushes about his stunning girlfriend. “Inside and out.” “And she is the most awesome and extreme woman I’ve ever met!” he adds. We all know how much Bear enjoys various extremes. Bear raves: “I adore her, honestly.” That is so sweet to hear. Raiven also spoke up, and shared what has made her so drawn to Bear. “The thing I like most about Bear is his ability to love unconditionally,” Raiven praises. Bear is definitely a sweet guy. “And,” she adds. “How he lives his life to ensure other people’s happiness.” That could almost be read as a dig against Billy, who seems to wield a lot of control over his adult children, but that might be overthinking things. So what have they been up to as a couple? “We’re enjoying summer on the mountain together,” Bear reveals. “And,” he continues excitedly. “Can’t wait to see what the future brings.” Gabe, Noah, Bam Bam, and even Matt have secured romantic happiness for themselves. It’s great that it’s Bear’s turn. “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,” he confesses. Awww! It’s been about four months since Jinger Duggar moved to LA , and it seems the city is beginning to leave its mark on the most rebellious Duggar daughter. Fashion has always been one of Jinger’s preferred modes of expression — she is, after all, the first Duggar woman of her generation to wear pants in public — and it seems she’s keeping the tradition alive by splurging on expensive threads. Several fans have noted that the always-stylish Jinger seems to be forever finding new fashion inspirations on the West Coast. And this week, she made what many consider to be her boldest fashion statement since she first donned a pair of Levi’s in violation of the strict Duggar dress code . Jinger posted the photo below earlier this week, and it’s attracted attention for two distinct reasons. For starters, this is the pic that clued fans into the fact that Jana is currently visiting Jinger in LA . (Jana posted a similar coffee-gram with the same tiled floor in the background, and fans instantly pieced it together because Duggar obsessives are a different breed.) But the biggest commotion had to do with the fact Jinger is rocking some seriously stylish shoes. As you probably know, the Duggars are advocates for ” modest attire .” Typically, this means women covering just about every inch of their skin aside from their faces and hands. But the family is also not big on lavish displays of wealth. It’s an ironic stance, considering Jim Bob has devoted his life to the acquisition of wealth, but that’s how it is. Jim Bob makes the rules and his daughters follow them — and one of the rules at the moment is “dress like you’re poor.” There have already been rumors that Jim Bob and Michelle have disowned Jinger , though to be fair, those reports seem to be based on nothing other than the fact that they have yet to visit her in LA. It may not seem like much, but considering how much time and money the Duggars have to devote to their family, it’s a pretty big snub.
